Lucifel had, had every intention on going to the park today but along the way she noticed people knocking balls into a hole with a stick... it looked interesting enough and it certainly was something new.
She looked up at the sign that featured a big green dinosaur and the words Miniature Golf. "Golf," she read aloud. She then glanced at the sign with rules and instructions. It sounded easy enough... however, she was suddenly wondering if it was going to be as fun as she thought considering that she was by herself.

Finally! Vance was no longer grounded. This meant he could go out again. Even better, it meant he could get candy again. The frog boy ran down the street, with every intention of going to the candy store to spend his very first allowance on candy. Being a big kid was awesome! As long as he did chores, he got money.
Along the way, he spotted someone familiar at an unfamiliar place. "Lucfel!" The boy called out, waving his arm with one hand and holding the strap of his backpack with the other. He ran up to the girl and stopped, panting a bit from all of the unnecessary running. "What's up?" He looked over at the mini golf place, then back to the green girl. He knew she had grown, since he had seen her at the boat party, but back then he hadn't grown at all. He felt a bit special now that he was at par with her, sort of.

"Vance," Lucifel through her arms around Vance and hugged him tight. "You're bigger! You look really awesome!" She giggled and clapped.
"Oh, I just noticed some people hitting balls with a stick and thought I'd check it out... The sign says Mini Golf... I thought about playing but I have no one to play with. You want to play with me?"

Vance returned the hug just as tightly as he received it. He was a boy, but cooties had not yet come into his repertoire. He was as affectionate as ever. "Thanks! You are too." He replied enthusiastically.
The boy looked over at the playing field curiously again. "Really? We should play! Wanna?" he asked with a hopeful smile. It looked like fun. There were cool mini buildings and colorful stuff all over.
He shifted his backpack on his shoulders a bit and smiled proudly. "I was gonna spend my allowance on candy. I can use it here instead so we can play." Yes, allowance. He was ever so proud of his earnings.

"I'd love to play!" Lucifel's voice was as perky and cheerful as ever, but it never reached it's full potential (it only happened around her Lily). She was more than thrilled that Vance wanted to play golf with her. She took his hand and tugged him towards the ticket booth.
"What chores do you do?" She asked the moment he mentioned allowance. "My chore is making sure all the garbage cans in the house don't overflow and that they get out to the street on time for pick up..."
"I can help out," she giggled. She used her free hand reached into her pocket and pulled out a few crumpled bills. Any other day she'd have had her backpack but she was originally heading to the park and didn't think she'd need it... so she'd just stuffed her pockets with what she thought she'd need.

"I gotta help with dishes all the time, and keep my room clean once a week." Vance said matter of factly, as if what he did was mighty impressive. He didn't exactly get much from it, but what did a kid know about money anyway?
"Okay! Lets go." He proclaimed, heading into the establishment, tugging Lucifel's hand with him.
He looked at the board near the ticket booth, scanning for a price for kids. Oh, he had enough! "One kid's ticket, please!" He exclaimed, handing the man his money.
The ticket master handed Vance a club and a couple golf balls, and did the same for Lucifel after she had paid.
"Yay! This is gonna be awesome." He looked around at the other players, watching what they did. This looked so easy!

"We have a maid... so cleaning our room isn't a chore... it is more an option," Lucifel giggled. "You pick it up if you want to keep your things other wise you take a chance of the maid throwing it away or misplacing it."
"Thank you," she waved at the man when he handed her the necessary supplies for golfing. She tossed the hard ball up and down a couple of times. "Very awesome," she said with a giggle.
She lead the way over to the first hole. It looked sorta kinda easy... if she could just remain still long enough to hit the ball straight.

A maid? Wow, this girl must be a Princess! Vance made a mental note to take her to Levi at some point or another, or at least tell the King of the Ocean about this. Vance felt proud to be such an awesome informant.
Vance approached the first round, looking puzzled. He watched other families do it, and straightened himself up. He could totally do this. He placed his ball down and mimicked what he had seen others do,swinging to hit the ball... and missing.
Oops. Vance puffed his cheeks and gave it another swing, grazing the ball enough to move it down the green a few inches.
Oh boy...
