Well, there was actually a show, "Class of the Titans," where Hades was so prissy! His voice sounded gay, no offense Hades, and he was completely in love with Persephone, and she was so in love with him!
And Dionysus was a alchemist. Wait, is that possible?

Mnemosyne Moneta Well, there was actually a show, "Class of the Titans," where Hades was so prissy! His voice sounded gay, no offense Hades, and he was completely in love with Persephone, and she was so in love with him! And Dionysus was a alchemist. Wait, is that possible? I LOVE Class of the Titans. Hades was actually MUCH better in that show. And, yes, his voice was British and posh (a little "prissy"). I wouldn't call him gay though. So what if his voice isn't the most manly? He had moments of awesome when Cronus tried to take Persephone as his wife and Persephone pretended to like Cronus so that Hades went all powerful and stopped Cronus. I wouldn't have chosen that voice personally BUT I can see why they chose it. Every other Hades had am imposing and dark voice, what better way to show he's not evil than to give him a non-threatening voice? He and Persephone do show affection quite a bit (I liked it in CotT mainly because they don't do a lot of God Couples openly and Hades and Persephone was one of the only ones) and --best part-- HE'S A GOOD GUY!  Notice the last picture on the 3rd row? I think that the series was going to have their child show up but never was able to show it. Also Dionysus wasn't really an alchemist per se but he was a chemist (and only in one episode unfortunately). He also stopped drinking years before.

Hera did that to Dionysus as a kid/teen for revenge as he was a son of Zeus and Semele. So, Dionysus was dubbed the god of insanity, so shouldn't he be able to drive him insane? If you don't want to flip off on the mother of the Muses supporter, don't read the Zeus, Poseidon or Hades? forum. Damn Hera and her Titanic connections! I don't think we should drive insane those who animate cartoons for children. Might give the little tots the wrong idea.

I know! biggrin I wish that it came out in the US so that more people in the guild would know about it because I've watched all of the episodes and --even though they took liberties in a few places (like you mentioned in the Adonis episode)-- they got a lot more of the real myths represented in a great way, more so than any other version anyway. I think if it came out in the US before it ended it would have never been canceled after 2 seasons because there would have been more people nagging for more and they'd have to make more (a la Teen Titans wink ).

Yeah, Canadian's tax payers made that series. But yeah, they should have continued! They had most of the myths accurate, some things I'm still wondering about. If it continued on, I would have wanted them to have the other Titans. Cause if Cronus freed himself, why did he leave his brothers, may I ask?

@ Moneta, maybe Kronos didn't want any competition of king of the world, so he decide to keep his brothers imprisoned.
@Moneta #2 there was that thing about Atlanta being a decendent of Artemis when Artemis is neither hero nor has children, therefore she cannot have decendents.
