Hello mortals! I'm Dionysus, everyone's favorite god. You may know me for my wild parties, or maybe it's my sense of fashion that has drawn you to my page. Frankly, this old god doesn't care; once a deity gets past a certain Age he'll take any worship he can get. Which is not to say that I'm desperate for attention (unlike the majority of Olympians), but to put it simply: the more of me you have in your life the happier you'll be!

For those of you who don't know, I invented wine. It came to me in an incense induced dream whilst in Asia: fermented grapes. Wild, I know. My greatest joy in life--besides dark chocolate--lies in spreading my miraculous brainchild across the world. Wine is the path to epiphany, when taken in appropriate amounts. And I mean appropriate, I can't tell you how many times I've had to haul a drunk god's a** when someone thought he was going to be Mr. Macho in front of the ladies. Don't even get me started on underage drinking either; honestly, wait your turn like everyone else.

Oh well, enough of me talking, darlings. If you want to know more about me--and why wouldn't you--I suggest you actually, gasp, pick up a book on Greek Mythology. I'm always mentioned in such tomes of knowledge; however, don't beleive everything you read: my family loves to spread rumors about me. They are all just so jealous of my easygoing nature and utter unselfishness; I'm just the train that keeps on giving.

Typing this up (yes, an Ancient Greek God is actually sitting at a computer right now, typing this) has made me realize that some of my future fans may be adverse to hardbacks. After all, we don't want to be getting paper cuts, now do we? In all my graciousness I give you this short list of sites that also contain a healthy, wealthy amount of information on me.
