Keanu and Sahra's Playdate
Participants: Sahra, Keanu, Mew, Raja

While out for a stroll in the countryside, Mew fell asleep in the tall grasses and Sahra wandered off. And what she found was not normal! A spotted boy named Keanu, he was no treasure in a chest. They played and fought evil trees while following something he called "Farrr-reewes."

A House FULL Of Chaos, Another Typical Day
Participants: Sahra, Adriel, Mabyn, Vianca, Asryane, Winifred, Mew, Koosh, Sprocket

Mew Kazuma
Sahra plopped happily into her bean bag chair, watching Yin as she entered her room. She wondered what Yin wanted to do, she wasn't really in a drawing type of mood, but she did want to play.

"Sah, are you going to draw? Or are we going to do something else?" The cat girl kneeled down next to her kitty counter part, smiling in response to her own question.

Sahra shook her head, growling playfully, she pounced Mabyn, plowing her over. "OHHF! What was that for?" She chuckled, knowing what the answer was, she poked at Sahra's sides, causing a screech to arise. "What? Are we a little to on the tickle-ish side?" She grinned.

Adriel stretched out sleepily, she bounced atop Sahra's bed flowery bed, blinking at the sight of rolling person's on the ground. "Mreow?" She mewed in confusion, being greatly startled by the screech.

"A-DEE!" Sahra jumped up happily, running to plow down the young slipper with Yin not to far behind her. " I will get YOU BOTH!" She said, chasing after them, while in a crazed laughing fit.

"Mre--"

*PLOOWWWW*

Asryane
Asryane panted slightly as she continued to run, her red hair covering her pale face because of the wind blowing it to all sides. Vianca was still a couple of meters away from her and she had to admit that she had trouble chasing after the little creature. Maybe the little slipper was still in her youngest stage, but she could already run as if she had practiced for years. Asryane knew she'd have to keep an eye on her as Vianca had showed herself to be a little trouble-maker. The little slipper just loved to explore new places but she also seemed to have a talent to get herself, and her owner for that matter, in trouble.

The forest had become less thick and it finally ended and Asryane now found herself in a familiar open field. She had been here once before, together with Mew. Asry spotted the slipper in front of the large house and she quickly walked over to her in a fast pace.

"Mrrow!" Vianca looked up at the door excitedly as if she wanted to tell Asryane to open it for her. Vianca had found her way to the house easily as Asryane had took her along last time too. Yes, the slipper had proven to have a quite good memory.

Asryane couldn't help but chuckle before she lifted her hand to knock on the door.

Mew Kazuma
Yin's ear's twitched, "Huh?" She sat up on top of the bed, alert. "Did somene...knock on the door?" "Meow, I didn't hear anything." Adriel seemed to say to Yin, being the only one in the room who could understand her.

Yin, even with knowing she was a tad bit over paranoid, jumped up from the bed. She scooped Sahra into her arms, not worrying about Adriel, since Sahra already had a good hold to her. "Graarrr!" She ran down the stairway and darted to the front door. She swung it open. "Oh, uh, Hi?" She stood looking eye to eye with a woman she had never seen before. "Mehw?..."

Asryane
Before Asryane could even reply Vianca had already entered the house. Of course in her excitement she hadn't watched out where she was going which caused her to run into a creature much taller than she. Vianca rolled over and landed on her back, meowing wildly. "Greowr!"

Asryane quickly bend down to help Vianca up again before she turned back to the cat girl. She knew that her own darling Vianca would become an anthro like Yin one day and she could hardly wait till the day she'd be able to talk to her companion. "Uhh, I'm so sorry, she can be a little too excited sometimes.." Asryane apologized as she brushed her hair back behind her ears. "Ohh, we just came to visit Mew.. but it seems like she's not there?"

In the meantime Vianca had been looking up curiously at the three others. "Mrow! Mrow!" She jumped up against Yin's leg before purring softly. No, no matter that she had made a fool of herself only a few seconds before, Vianca wasn't one to sit still for more than 5 seconds or feel embarrassed about her own deeds. She was young, curious and playful.

Mew Kazuma
Mabyn blinked, pulling Sahra close, she stared down at the small slipper below her. "Eh?" She said in a confused tone. Her ears and tail twitched, slowly moving her gaze back to look at Asryane. "I see." She replied, "But yes, you are right. She isn't here at the moment." Yin peered out the door into the quickly darkening surroundings of the forest. "But I would think you'd probably want to come in? I think Mew may be a while...but you're welcome to stay, anyways. I promise I don't bite." She laughed softly, not being able to resist making the comment.

Sahra wrapped her small arms tightly around the brown-gold furred being, burying her face in her neck. "Err..." She muttered, peeking out every now and then to eye the unfamiliar visitors.

"MEOW!" Addy had long before jumped out of Sah's arms. She slowly hoped in front of Vianca, and titled her head. "MEHw?"

Asryane
Asryane eyed the small purple slipper who was already in the house, then chuckled slightly and nodded her head, "Seems like she's already decided that for us." She gave Vianca one last look before she also entered the house. "Thank you for your hospitality and, ohh." The girl smiled slightly at Mabyn's promise not to bite then turned her gaze towards Sahra. "I hope we're not too much of a bother.." She knew Mew had said that they could come to visit anytime they wanted but Asry had always been shy and quite reserved, especially when it came to people she didn't know. Biting her lip softly she held out her hand to Mabyn. "I'm Asryane and the little one overthere is Vianca.."

Vianca noticed Adriel in front of her and she carefully and gently poked her with her nose, wondering how Saki's fur would feel. Curious to all her surroundings she was, ohh she still had so much to learn. "Mehw!" She replied as she nodded her head, taking another hop toward Saki. "Mrow? Mrowmrowmeow?" She began to start up a sort of conversation existing of meowing.

Mew Kazuma
Yin chuckled, watching the slippers, she ran her fingers over Sahra's pale orange hair. "All is good." She nodded with a smile, "It's nice to meet someone. I have to admit I don't get out much." Yin pushed at the door side, moving over to allow a pathway for Asryane to enter. Mabyn could sense that Asryane was somewhat shy, but being the normal curious kitty she was, she had no problems leading the social situation.

Yin looked down at her arms, "I, uh...kind of have no free hands, sorry! But it is VERY nice to meet you Asryane~ My name is Mabyn, but please call me Yin. And this is Sahra." She directed her eyes towards the little cheetah girl in her arms.

A look of surprise came to Sahra's face as they both looked at her, causing her to bury her head back into Mabyn in embarrassment.

"Yeah, she's a bit on the shy-ish side."

"MREOW!" Mewed a small voice angrily, Adriel tackled at Yin's leg, demanding an introduction. "Oh, and this is Adriel."

Addy looked at Vianca, meowing, she plopped in front of her, then hoped to the side, trying to signal a sort of, "COME ON! Let's go somewhere and play!"

Asryane
"That'd be the same for me..but I've decided that Vianca and Ace need lots of fresh air so I'm trying to go out more often nowadays. I need to get to know more people myself too, actually Mew is about the only one I've really talked to since I've been here." She admitted with a small smile as her eyes darted through the room.

"Ohh, and it's nice to meet you Yin! I think Mew has mentioned you when I met her, at least your name sounds familiar to me. You seem to be living here with a rather large family, huh?" Asryane then turned her gaze back to the cheetah girl and couldn't help but feel a little sorry for her, seeing how shy she was. Asryane smiled warmly at her and gave her a little wave, hoping that'd comfort Sahra a bit.

Vianca watched the other slipper, who had been introduced as Saki with a curious look on her face. She hoped after Adriel, nudging her in the side with her nose playfully, happy to have found a new playmate. "GRAWRL!"

After all this excitement of meeting new friends Vianca suddenly felt her eyes getting heavy. She curled up against her new friend before her eyes fell closed and she was fast asleep.

Asryane herself too felt that she was getting a bit sleepy. Giving Yin and Sahra one last smile she walked over to the couch, where she promptly fell asleep, her head resting on her shoulder.

Mew Kazuma
((See you later Kiri! But you know what this reminds me of? It makes me remember the first time Krista came to Autumn Lines Vet back in the day. <_< XDDD *Shot*))

"Ohh, how odd." Yin mumbled curiously, staring a moment at Asryane, almost shocked. "Well, I guess she was tired." Mabyn sat Sahra down in a chair, and grabbed a blanket off of the back of the couch. She unfolded it, shaking it out, and spread it over her new friend. "Sleep well." She said simple, cocking her head to see the two kittens both curled up asleep. "Indeed."

Sahra whined, attaching onto Yin's leg, she looked up at the cat girl sleepily. "Tired, eh?" She responded. "Well, come on then, we'll go up and go to bed, too." Yin picked Sahra back up, stopping a moment to peer back towards the door. Come home soon, Mew...and hopefully you'll be in one piece. She exited to the left side of the room, running up the stairs. And before she even reached the top, Sahra was fast asleep. "Aww." Yin smiled, debating whether or not she should leave Sah alone, she decided to take her into her own room with her. She opened her door and shut it behind her, lying Sahra on the gold colored sheets, Yin switched the light off. "Good night."

Asryane
Vianca had awoken only to find herself in the same room as she had fallen asleep in. It was still rather dark outside and since no lights were on, the room was covered in darkness, but Vianca had always had a good night vision and so she could easily see the silhouette of her sleeping care-taker on the couch. She also noticed that Adriel was still lying next to her and she softly started to nibble on the kitten's ear, hoping to wake her new friend so that they could go playing. "Mreow? Meow?" She meowed.

Mew Kazuma
Sahra woke, startled, she jumped up. Where am I...? She thought, head whipping around as locks of pale orange hair flailing about. But then she saw Mabyn. Oh... She yawned and stretched out, wondering where her mommy was, but knowing she hadn't been home yet. It was far to early, and as far as she knew, no one would be awake yet.

She shoved the door open, darting happily down the hallway; she turned to the stairway and skipped down into the living room. "Huh?..." Her eyes locked on the stranger lying on their couch feet away. "Ohh...her..." she mumbled under her breath. Sah wanted no trouble at all, especially not with someone more than two times her size.

"MEW!?" Addy jumped up, looking at Vianca a moment, then looking away, and double taking. "Mew, meh mreow me?"

Winifred slid open the patio door, wings flapping, she entered the large room that was the dining and kitchen area. "Phew..." She mumbled, eyes glowing in the dark like most felines would in the night when reflecting light. "Oh? Sahra?"

Sahra stopped and looked up at Winifred, a few feet above her, she felt like she was looking at a towering something. Like she had to do with Mew when she sat down. "Er...???"

Asryane
Vianca started to meow even more excitedly when she noticed that Adriel had awoken. "Mehw..merow?" She questioned as she tilted her head to one side and glanced at Adriel, eyes slightly narrowed. Vianca looked up when she saw Sahra entering and she hoped towards her, stopping for a moment and looking back to see if Addy was following. "Mew?" Vianca had a mischievous look on her face.

When all these sounds reached Asryane's ears she sleepily opened her eyes, rubbed them and gazed around in the room with a sheepish smile on her face, "Where am I again?" She asked out loud, her eyes still adjusting to the dark.

Mew Kazuma
"Mehw?" Saki yawned, ending in a soft growl, she looked around the room, wondering what all the commotion was. But then as she skimmed, her eyes locked onto Vianca's, and saw the true devious nature of the slipper kitten. "Mreow..." She shook her head, she didn't want to do anything to Sahra.

Sahra turned on one , a slight embarrassed blush slowly appearing on her cheeks, the soft glow from the moon outside highlighting her cat-like features. She wrapped her spotted and striped tail around her leg nervously. "Eh..."

"Oh? Hello there!" Winifred grinned sweetly at the kittens, and then the same to Asryane. "You are...new here? You're friends of Mew, correct?" Wing beats could be heard echoing through out the room, and slowly, they quickened, and Winifred flew over top of Asryane.

Asryane
Vianca blinked a couple of times and gave Addy one last nudge. "Mrow?!" She didn't mean to do anything bad to Sahra, she just wanted to get to know the cheetah better and get her to play with them. Vianca was a little trouble-maker, she certainly was, but she'd never ever hurt anyone. "Meow, meow." she tried to explain what she wanted to Addy, then eyed Sahra. "Meow?" She asked her, jumping up and down, unable to calm down.

Asryane gasped when Winifred flew over her and she threw her arms around her knees, looking up with a slightly started expression on her face. "Uhh. Friends of Mew, yeah." She said and her startled look slowly made place for a warm smile.

Mew Kazuma
"Oh dear, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you!" Winifred's wings started to slow, and she slowly sunk downward. She found a comfy perch on the couch back, and lie down a moment to relax. "I am just in for a few minutes. Was wondering what was going on in here."

"Mreow." Addy knew that the other slipper didn't want to hurt Sahra, but she just didn't want to scare her anymore than she already was.

Taking a few paces forward, Sahra came to rest against the back of the couch close to Winifred. She watched Asryane from the edge, not able to look over top, since the couch was taller than she was. Oh how she hated being so short. "Mewh..." She purred softly, tail thwiping from side to side. It was interesting to see this new being here. I wonder what she is supposed to be?...

Asryane
Asryane shook her head and grinned slightly, "Ohh, don't worry. It's fine. I'm easily startled, that's all." She chuckled a bit then looked at Sahra and watched her tail whipping from side to side, following it closely with her eyes, and somehow it made her kind of sleepy. Asryane quickly looked up again and faced Sahra. "H-hey, you were Sahra, right?" Asryane bit her bottom lip softly again (something she always did when she was thinking) before she mimiced Sahra: "Mewh..." Asryane then smiled at the cheetah, hoping that the sound would make her feel a little more comfortable.

Vianca had turned around to watch Winifred, Asry and Sahra and she also started to make the same sound as her care-taker had done: "Mewh, mewh!"

Mew Kazuma
"Oh my, I forgot about why I came in here. I wanted something to eat. I need to try and get something down Kobane's throat, too...So I must be off to raid the fridge, sorry! It was nice meeting you!" Winifred flapped her wings a few times, shaking her entire body, her ears twitched, and she took to air. "I'll be seeing you!" She said, heading off to find some food.

"Har?" Confused, Addy watched Asry and Vianca mew towards Sah. She looked up to her, wondering what her reaction would be?...

Also feeling much like Adriel, confused, and slightly dazed, she had no clue why these two were mewing at her. She growled softly, a sort of warning, she took a step backward. Her face curled into an innocent, curious sort of look. Eyebrow raised, her tail thwapped the ground even harder.

Asryane
Asryane gave Winifred a quick wave before she turned to look at the cheetah girl again. "Uhhh.." She sat back down on the cough and shuddered lightly when she heard the sound Sah's tail made when it hit the ground. "Sah-ra? Eh.. " She held out her hand to Sahra, "Friends?" Asryane said after a few moments of silence. The look on her face was a mingle of all sort of emotions. One side she was curious to what Sahra was thinking, other side she felt as if they weren't wanted here.

Vianca decided to leave Sah alone for now, she didn't seem much fun to play with, however Vianca had to admit that that fact only made her more curious to the cheetah. Everyone likes to play.. why doesn't she? She turned back to Addy and hoped towards the kitten, meowing as if she wanted to ask 'how come Sah doesn't want to play with us?'

Mew Kazuma
Sahra stared at the woman, feeling like she had an overload of curiosity that was building up inside. "Mehw." She mewed, plopping down on the floor. She wrapped one arms around Adriel, and reached out slowly and cautiously to pet Vianca. "Mreow." She purred, feeling now these two, despite the weird alien, were no threat to her.

Purring loudly, Addy crawled up into Sah's lap, and became to playing bat at her arm. Sahra giggled, grinning from cheek to cheek.

Asryane
Vianca reached up a little and so allowed Sah to pet her. She gently pushed her nose against Sah and snuggled up against her warm fur. "Merow!" She meowed softly. Vianca felt that the cheetah finally seemed to relax a little bit more and she grinned at her, still meowing slowly.

Asryane blinked a couple of times, then pulled up her legs and watched the other creatures in silence, wondering whether it was her red hair what scared away the cheetah. Or.. maybe it is the pink shoes.. I know those might seem slightly intimidating to some.. Asryane tilted her head and continued to ponder.

Mew Kazuma
Adriel mewed happily, seeing Sahra was now in a much better mood. She is her priority to bury herself within Sahra's lap, yawning loudly, her eyes slowly started to shut, just about to fall asleep.

Sighing softly, Sahra stroked her companion. With one arm occupied with Adirel, the other soon became busy petting at Vianca. She hadn't really cared much for the two before, but now she felt absolutely no threat. She leaned back against the back of the couch, having slouched down some time ago, she yawned loudly and closed her eyes tightly. Sleep was near.

((Sorry for such shortness, REALLY tired and I cannot think straight. x_x; *Waddles off to bed*))

Asryane
Vianca had watched Adriel and Sah as they fell asleep and she purred softly, enjoying the company of her two new made friends. She reached out to her own tail--wait--she reached out? Vianca stared at her new paws for a second then turned around so that she faced her care-taker again. "Yane... Yane!" Vianca dashed over to Asryane and made the sound she had heard around her so often. "Yane, Yane.." After a few seconds Vianca realized that her owner couldn't hear nor understand her and so she walked back to Sah and Adriel, her ears pointing down and a slightly saddened look on her face. She curled back up against Sahra and Adriel and then closed her eyes, mewing softly, her one paw wrapped around her own tail and the other one resting on Adriel's back. Soon after that also the kitty fell asleep, just as her owner had done a couple of minutes before.

Mew Kazuma
Mew sighed heavily, it had been a long night, despite it only being about a two mile walk from were she had been; it had seemed so much longer. Along the way Mew had stopped to slumber silently in a moist cave just above a crowding of rocks, maybe that's what made it seem so long. She trudged along, longing for the essence of home, and the warmth of her own bed, instead of some freezing cold ground.

Feet finally setting foot on her front porch, she pulled open the front door, and entered into the living room. "Huh?" Her eyes studied her surroundings, although taking a moment to adjust, she could tell that something seemed a little different. "Yane...?" She mumbled under her breath. I wonder what she's doing here...

Shaking the thoughts off, Mew figured she had just come to visit. I hope everyone was nice to her... A few more steps, and she halted in front of two sleeping kittens, one calico, and one purple. "Adriel and Vianca." She chuckled, "Looks like everyones here."

Slumping as she walked, Sahra had rudely awoken on the floor. Going into the kitchen to find something to eat, she had come to find that she had slept through the whole day, thoughts of becoming like her mother taking over her thoughts. It was sure good that it was a day when she had no school, or else she would have been in a lot of trouble.

Rubbing her eyes, Sah had had no idea where she was going. "Ohf! Wha?..." Hands falling to her side, eyes half closed, she peered up to what stood high above her. "Uhh...Mommy?..." She mumbled, clasping onto Mew's shirt, letting out a large yawn.

"Sahra? Why are you up at this time of night? You should be in bed." Mew swooped the small cheetah girl into her arms. Scooting a few inches over, she plopped down onto one of the living room armchairs, cradling the now sleeping girl.

kOOshEEkA
Koosh sat by a tree. She looked up. There sat Sprocket, calmly licking his paw. She sighed, Sprocket was much too mischievous for his own good. One realization that he couldn't get down from the tree and practically the whole town would hear his cries. She had attempted to climb the tree earlier, but failed miserably. She had never been skilled in the art of climbing.

So there she sat, wondering how in the world she would get Sprocket down and was hit by an apple. Well, first an apple, then an idea. She stood up and looked back at Sprocket one last time before setting off for the house.

At the front door she made a fist. She was a little nervous, very nervous actually. She was never good around strangers, and especially awful about asking favors. Knowing that there was no other way she knocked tentatively on the door, hoping for the best.

Mew Kazuma
"What?" Slightly startled, Mew turned all of her attention to the door. "Who could be here at this time of night...?" Holding the girl in her arms, she rose, trying very hard not to wake her. Slowly strutting to the door, she pulled it open, seeing someone there she had never seen before. "Yes? Can I, er, help you?" She muttered, eyes dazed, but not sleepy. Her tail swished about, ears flopped out in a lazy sort of fashion.

kOOshEEkA
Koosh looked at her feet, she had forgotten what time it was. "I er, um, oh, well." Finally she managed to point to the tree and sputter, "My kitty- cat- is stuck in the er tree. I was wondering if you... had a ladder?" Finally managing to get the words out she waited for a response. As she waited she remembered she had forgotten to introduce herself. "I'm umm Koosh... just Koosh. Sorry I hadn't mentioned earlier."

Mew Kazuma
Mew nodded, "Nice to meet you then, Koosh. If you could give me a moment, I will run and grab one from the barn. But first I must go put my daughter in her bed." Backing away from the door, she opened it wider, signaling she could step in if she'd like to.

Turning around, her feet padded along the wooden floors and she headed towards the stairway. Odd that most of the flooring in her home was wood, but, it was what she was used to. Heading up the almost cramped stairway, she turned to her right and entered through the first door. "Good thing you're tired." She said softly, laying her on her bed, pulling the drawn back covers neatly over top of the cheetah printed girl.

Exiting, she shut the door behind her, being sure not to wake the sleeping beauty behind it. "Sleep well." She mumbled under her breath, tail thwishing about, she headed back down to her new visitor.

Flora and Fauna
Participants: Sahra, Adriel (Sort of)

User Image Just the previous day Yin and Sahra had gone out into the forest together, and Yin had asked her to draw everything she liked out in the woodlands. Why? She didn't really know or understand why exactly, but she did like what she drew. The slate was so pretty, she just couldn't erase it! "Ohh..." She moaned, telling herself she would save it for morning and take it to school with her. Surely she could show everyone in class how pretty the forest was around her house!

Maybe the teacher could even tell her what all these things were, and tell her some cool things about all of them! Maybe something could cure an ailment, or even save a life, or do something magical and pretty! What would all of the other children think about that? Well, she didn't know, but she though that it would be so much fun. But now it was time for bed; up under the covers, and she was off to sleep fast, cuddled up with the already sleeping Adriel beside her.

When the Syndrome Strikes
Participants: Sahra, Mew, Mabyn, Aja

It was a day like any other day, bright, sunny, and ever so bubbly feeling. It sent shivers up her spine just thinking about it, in the sort of way that made one cringe. Mew sat on a window pane, silently, peering out one small shade of the window blinds. The sunlight sickened her a great deal now, more than before. This was an illness that she had managed to get while out on a journey, as she calls it; it has been present for a few years time now, but hadn't started to bother her immensely until now. She was managing, hoping that it wouldn't strike her hard enough to render her bed sick. But then again, Aimee, her mother's mother, was always very fragile during the daytime when she had had the illness, even the slightest disturbance dealing with light could put her in bad health. She died from it in the end.

Pain shot through her side; Mew knew very well that she was worsening, but for some reason, felt no ambition to change it. There was no possible way; there was no route home. She sighed heavily under her breath, pulling her legs up close to her chest, she felt like just shriveling up; going away to the ultimate faerie land for eternity. Her tail began thumping against the window as she slipped deeper and deeper into thought.

"Mew?" A cat girl of small size slowly made her way into the room, her sunset colored hair swishing about, tail doing much the same. "Mew, what's wrong? You're usually sleeping by now." Yin's voice showed thickening signs of worry. She strutted over toward the feline and stopped at the edge of the seat and sat herself down in front of Mew. "And why..." she paused a moment, but decided to go onward with her question, "...are you holding your side? Are you alright, Mew?.."

"Er..." Mew looked down; she hadn't even realized that she was holding her side. "Oh, I guess..." But then she felt it, an aching pain like no other, she had been so deep in thought that she hadn't really realized it. She moaned, ears flattening almost immediately, Mew shoved herself up in the seat further, leaning back against the wall.

"I take that as a hell no. Mew you need to go and lie down before you hurt yourself even more!" Mabyn grabbed at Mew's arm, and pulled her upward as to support her. "Come on, let's go."

"No, Yin." Mew yanked her arm away, shoving the cat girl backward; she arose, attempting her best to stand. But the pain was just too great! She stumbled, but managed to somehow grab the edge of the window before she could fall. "I have to take Sahra to school today, I promised her last night..."

"You know Mew, I am sure if you told Sah about your condition she would understand why you can't go out in the sunlight very often. But you have been out in it so often lately, haven't you? You are putting yourself through hell just to make her happy."

Mew cringed, face crunching up as she struggled to keep her balance. As much as she wanted to deny it, everything that Yin had said was true, as wretched as it was. Her condition was an uncommon generally non-contagious disease. One had to come in contact with an infected being's blood in order to get it. But it was then, after those thoughts that she felt it, she couldn't hold on any longer. She fell to the floor.

Walking down the stairway half asleep, she had gotten up on her own, and dressed herself, took a bath, etc. Sahra had become quite independent in a short period of time. She enjoyed doing things for herself; it gave her the much needed sense of responsibility that she ever so craved. Yawning, she hoped Yin would have breakfast ready for her today, she didn't feel much like eating cereal again and flying off on Aja alone. But as she began to turn into the kitchen, she stopped dead in her tracks. "Mommeh!?" Sahra let out a screech, eyes widening as she looked upon her fallen mother and the cat girl knelt down beside her. She felt like she could almost cry, hair already sticking like glue to her already damp face (from her bath). Sahra dashed to her mothers side, clinging to one dangly arms, the furred form buried herself into the nearly unconscious woman.

"Sah, move away." Yin snapped at Sahra, pushing her away, her gaze darted about, looking for another. "AJA!" She called out, cupping one hand her mouth. "We need you, NOW!"

"Yes, you called?" A small snow white ermine scurried into the room, slinking down the stairs to come to a stop in front of Yin. "What did you? Oh no, don't tell me." He flopped quickly to Mew, climbing up her side to the top of her stomach. He stared into her blank eyes with his own beady black eyes looking over every centimeter of her face. "We need to get her into bed." Aja grunted, shaking his little stringy head fiercely. He began to change, doing so as quickly as he could manage. He was still shifting into a four legged creature, but this form was much larger; about the size of a wolf, but maybe slightly larger. His unique markings were now beginning to become apparent, more so than before. "Now come on, help me." He growled, pushing his head up under Mew's back.

Yin grabbed Mew's arm and lifted her onto Aja's back, she was too weak to carrying Mew up the stairs, but Aja was not, and she knew that well. Her tail thrashed back and forth violently, nervously making her way up towards Mew's room, right behind the large canine like creature. She had always wondered how Aja and Mew had come to be connected; they had never gotten around to telling her. All she knew was that Aja and Mew were linked by the soul.

Barging in through the door, Aja jumped up onto Mew's bed, rolling her off of his back, he looking over to Yin to finish the rest. He watched as she quickly turned her over and pulled the covers over top of her, gently and carefully, of course. "What should we do about it this time?" He asked truthfully. "I really don't know what to do anymore...the only thing I would ever think of to do is to..." he stopped his speech in order to think about what he was saying, would that really even help?

"So What do we do then?" Yin asked curiously, seating herself on the edge of the bed. She had absolutely no idea what Aja was thinking. Or was he plotting? She could never be to sure.

Aja peered about, being sure that Sahra hadn't followed them upstairs, his head tilted to the side, and he let out a loud and random huff. "I was thinking that we...well, nevermind. It's something for Mew's ears only." Aja felt like bashing his own head in, he knew it was way to risky, but it seemed like the only option left.

Sahra stood beside the door frame, listening to their conversation. They hadn't realized that she actually had followed them, and was and had heard every word that came out of their mouth. Bu-but Mommeh never told me she was...like this... Sah felt ever so confused; bewildered and almost hurt, she slumped slowly into her room, closing the door quietly behind her. She plopped down in the middle of the floor, eyes glued to the ground; she couldn't stop thinking about her mother, and what would happen to her.

At the Waters Edge
Participants: Sahra, Aja, Cin, Earl, Nen

A day couldn't be brighter, more bouncy, or more happy-good feeling. It was mid morning, and in the thinnest parts of the woodlands, trouble seemed to be brewing; an on going conflict that had risen a few weeks in time before, a conflict not so complicated, but all the more complex. "I don't know what your problem is!" A young girl snapped through gritted teeth, "I never did anything to make you angry! Or at least I never thought I did. So what's the problem, hmm?" Spotted and slender, with a hand brushing through the shallow crystal clear waters of a pond located in her home area, a vineyard, Sahra felt like she could just gnaw on something! Why had things become so complicated all of a sudden? Something must be stirring.

Wading in the water, a large wolf like creature splashed about, pawing at the icy cold water, he harbored an annoyed aura about him. "It's nothing, really Sahra." He said calmly, falling into a sitting position. "Things just aren't going very well behind the veil; everything that could possibly go wrong is going wrong, and there's nothing any of us can do about it." He sighed, ears drooped, and he knew very well that he shouldn't be discussing such problems with the girl, but he couldn't help it, he had no one else to talk to. "Things you'll probably never even begin to be able to imagine." And that was saying a lot! Oh yes, he knew it was, saying such a foolish thing to one with such a creative mind, Sahra had always been able to understand things most people couldn't, and even though she was young, Aja had always felt a respect for the small girl.

"I am not sure if I understand...I know things are happening, but no one ever tells me what. I know it's better for me and everyone else if I just stay out of things, but I can't help but worry." She shook her head, knowing the statement would probably go right over her companions head, she attempted to shrug her bad feelings off, hoping he would do the same. Things around Marisolle had been very tense lately, with her mother unfit to do anything around the place, Yin and Aja were struggling greatly to keep things in order. In the past few weeks, Sahra had seen creatures of all shapes and sizes pass through, things she could never have even imagined to be real. But they were, just as real to the touch as she was, and that made her come to the conclusion that she wasn't so different from everyone after all. Who cared if you looked so different? And could do odd things? If you're good to people, then you're good to yourself.

Aja turned around, positioning himself in front of the girl, but still sitting in the water. "I know you do." He said simply, tail twitching, making a small ripple rage through the water. "But now I must be off, there are many matters to attend to, and I can't put them off any longer." He stood, walking out of the water, he shook off the wetness, although still dripping, he slowly trudged off towards the jagged cliffs and mountainside. He knew he was in for a time.

She knew, she knew that he didn't want to do what he was going off to do. She didn't know what, but what she did know is that his eyes glowed with an overwhelming amount of frustration and irritation, his heart was in pain, and his mind was jumbled; confused. Sahra had never known such a sight in her caretaker, she could never remember seeing him in such a state, ever since they first meet some time ago. But that story would be saved for another day. Sahra shifted herself around, changing her position, she was still sitting, but in a much different way. Her eyes wandered about the pond, not used to being around the water, she had always feared it, but for some reason, now, she didn't so much anymore. She remembered falling in when she was very young, probably one of her first days at Marisolle, but that, too, was in the past.

"Mrr." She purred to herself, humming a soft tune, her eyes soon caught sight of the long lanky form of a serpent under the waves. It was Nen, a creature that was mostly white in color, it was rare to ever see her out in the winter, and she usually kept herself hidden in the underwater caverns when it was cold. But she seemed to be snatching up fish, and enjoying herself, taking no notice of the outside world. But another did, a small bright pink fish, and a friend swimming along side of her. "Cin!" She grinned, reaching a few fingers into the water, but quickly taking them out as she spotted Earl the eel, the friend that was accompanying her. He was always so grumpy, and not looking any less today, she didn't feel like causing any chaos in the under water world.

"Ya know Cin," She began, "I sometimes think that people don't really know what they want out of life. I mean, why do we live? Do we all have a purpose? There are no answers to those questions, because nobody knows, and probably never will. But some people hide their true dreams and intentions, and make themselves appear to be something they are not. How could you live such a false life, especially when you only have one to live?" Sah starred at the fish, tilting her head as she swam up to the surface, and stuck her tail fin out of the water, she giggled. "Why am I even worrying about stuff like that? I've got a long time to worry, but not very long to mingle."

The fish let out a few bubbles, starring up at the blurred figure known to her as her friend; she swam about in a circle, knowing that she would soon be taken inside.

"Okay Cin, why don't we go in. I am starting to get kind of cold, anyways." Reaching down to scoop the fish up with an empty bowl, she let the bowl fill with water, before attempting to scoop the willing fish up. But that was when something went wrong. SPLASH. The cheetah feel directly into the water, quickly falling under, she had no idea how to swim, even in the shallow water. She felt so frightened that her legs wouldn't even allow her to stand! What was she to do? She watched the blurred world above her, quickly sinking; she saw the pink forms of her fish friend and eel enemy flash by.

But sooner than she knew it, she was above the water, rising higher and higher, but how!? She gripped a large grimy body hard, wrapping her arms tightly around it, she shivered, and moved about uncomfortably, trying to imagine a solution for what was happening. She looked down, realizing the only logical solution, at least after finding snake like eyes directly in front of her own. "Neh-...Nen?" Her voice was shaky, and filled with fear! Sah couldn't help it, she had never once touched this large sea dragon. She remembered her mother always telling her that Nen was a loner, and didn't like people, and was very prone to bite, that was why she had never neared the serpent. But why did everyone fear her? She seemed so calm, and soothing, and she saved her from the water! "Er, er, um, sorry for disturbing...you Nen, I just sort of fe--" Nen dropped her onto the ground, not a great distance, but long enough to ensure she would have a sore bottom later on.

"It's alright." Spoke a high, woman like voice, strong and full, the albino white creature flicked her head, starring down at the young girl. "Just be more careful next time."

Remembering an Incident
Participants: Sahra

It had been an unusually long day, going here and there; Sahra felt like just this one day had been a week, or maybe two? Maybe even more! So what should she do? She had no idea what she could possibly do to pass the time. But then it hit her, she remembered an assignment she had been given by Adonai, her "all purpose" instructor, as Yin would put it. She came to the house three to four times a week to work with Sahra on specific subjects, but also normally ended up helping her with her other subjects as well. She learned a lot from Adonai, and as odd of a man that he was, he knew his stuff. Aja had brought him home one day, under the request of the bed stricken Mew; of course, she hadn't remembered it all to well. But that was going a little to off topic.

He was responsible for giving her piano lessons and lessons in odd languages and creative writing. Sometimes even art! That was what she truly enjoyed, and creative writing, too, it wasn't to bad, she did enjoy writing. And that's just what she would do, she would write a sort of entry about a past epidemic for her assignment, hopefully that would help pass the time! So she grabbed a pad of paper and a pencil from her backpack that she remembered she had with her. And now it was time to write.

Creative Journal Assignment 01
Sahra Karchekanon
3/16/06

Today I remembered something rather interesting about myself that I found interesting and important enough to write about! Amazing, huh? Yeah, I know, I always start off all odd like this. But I really think I should write about this! Even though it is a little hard for me to remember since I was only five when it happened. And comparing that to being eight now, well, it has been a while!

I remember being over at my aunts home, my kitten friend Adriel and myself where rampaging about, as usual, and found a place that was ever so interesting, at least at the time. It was this room, with an odd sign on the front door, I remember trying to read it, but failing, but now that I think about it I am pretty sure it said "KEEP OUT - EXTREME DANGER LIES AHEAD" what ever that was for. The room was filled with shelves, and a few tables, and some book shelves, too. It was filled from rim to rim with papers, and journals, and vials of different oddly colored liquids, books and containers for things that said "DEADLY CHEMICALS" on them. Now I would have known to stay away form them, and that they could be harmful, but then, well, I didn't care much, and neither did Saki. So we decided that we would "borrow" some of the stuff, just for fun to play with, you know?

Oh but did that turn out bad. We took a bottle of some silver shiny stuff outside and ran into the forest because we wanted to see what this magical new substance could possibly do for us. So we spread it all over everything, and dumped some of it in the water. It made it all black! Even though the stuff looked like it was shiny and silver it turned stuff black! And it made the fishes in the puddle come up to the surface and sleep. Maybe it helped you sleep? We couldn't figure out what it was for, so we threw it in the river. And after watching more of the fishes come up to rest, we turned around and headed back home.

But there was a little more to it than that. My arms where stained from fingers to elbow with black stuff! And so was Saki's! We tried and tried to wash it off before Mom could see, but nothing worked. It stained our fur, Mom said it was sort of like hair dye, or at least that was what it acted as, and that it should come off eventually. And it did, a few months ago, actually, now my arms and fingers are back to their normal yellow-ish spotted selves. It made me happy to get it all off!

And that was it, but it had only taken up a half an hour, at least according to the clock on the wall. But it could be wrong! Like those evil clocks were ever so often, the evil things, they always wanted to steal your time. But she wasn't going to let it take her time! She was going to take this paper and set it on the kitchen table for Adonai to find, while she headed out into the forest to play in the trees! And off she was, like a lightning bolt in a mid summers storm, she was out of sight.

Many things have happened to me since my last entry, since its been so long.. I guess I just lost track of things! How like me, always being so forgetful I mean. But after saying that I guess I should say what I am talking about, huh? Well, for starters my mother is still, even now, sick as a dog. And I don't even know why! No one has told me what's up with her yet. I have to admit I am very worried about the current situation. I am not sure if I know quite what to do anymore. That and I feel in the water again, it was such a horrible experience! But thanks to Nen I lived. I hope that never happens again, even if Nen and Cin are there with me, I hate water. Cin and Earl seem happy enough, though, I am just glad I didn't scare them to badly! I am surprised I didn't faint or die from being so scared...and I am surprised that Nen even helped me! I think that may have scared me more than falling into the water...

I also worry about Ajy, he's been gone so long. What could he possibly be doing? I swear I am going to go find him. When he left me the other day after talking with Cin he headed of towards the climbing rocks, so I think I'll go over there today while Yin is fussing over Mom. I've been there before, many times actually, there's nothing bad up there or anything, so I don't think my life is in danger, but I could be wrong, since I am quite often. Let's just hope things go as I plan!

Once Upon a Dreamland
Participants: Mew, Aja, Mabyn

In the mornings glory something shone through with great brilliance and intelligence. A white creature wandered along the mountainside, acknowledging the warmth beneath his four paws, he ventured on, and completely unaware of what was happening only yards away inside a house of snow white color. But why would that concern him? None of it did, at least not now, at this moment; he wanted nothing to do with it at that point in time. He had gotten stuck here, stranded from their land only weeks before, and was having such a hard time adjusting. While one creature walks strongly, another falls weakly from it's limbs.

Mew hadn't been doing so well, but so far she hadn't gotten any worse, which was good, wasn't it? Slowly she was starting to re-gain her consciousness, maybe she would soon just get up and walk away, as she had done after every other spell she had had in her life. But this one was longer than any other the others, and seemed to be a lot more painful for her, too.

"I don't know what to do for you anymore, Mew." Sitting on the edge of her bed, fiddling with the hem of her khaki coloured dress, Yin stared at the almost lifeless form before her. "When will you wake up?" She sighed, "I can't handle all of this on my own, if fact, I don't know how you managed to do it all! And even all of that before, what you had to go through. I'm always stressed out now, not a fun feeling, and I don't think Sahra is doing so hot, either. She misses her mother~!" The cat felt odd, talking to something she knew wouldn't talk back, but, she could hope, couldn't she? Everyone was hoping, and everyone was working hard to keep things in order. Well, all except for Aja, he was off elsewhere for some unknown reason.

She wasn't all to sure with what was going to happen, or what was really going on, all she knew was that the condition would one day be fatal if they didn't manage to render it inactive again. Mabyn knew little of their land, which was the world that Mew and Aja were both originally from. She had heard so many stories, so many complicated sorties of old; tales of War, betrayal, and death. Their world was so dangerous! And so complicated, she wondered how Mew had once managed to live in it?

But little did the cat girl know that it was far less complicated than she thought, at least to Mew, or to anyone else who grew up in the world. Sure there was a lot of things to learn, with such diverse cultures, so many creatures, and so much complicated magic veiling the lands, but with so many things that could go wrong, there were so many more than could go right! Deep, deep into her subconscious mind, Mew harbored memories so old, that she could barely remember them. But her dreams brought them forward, forcing her to relive things she had tried so hard to forget.

"AHH. No. We have to get out, we can't let them contain us like this..." Tossing and turning, Mew was letting out quite a screech, her covers where getting thrown everywhere! Poor covers!

"Wha, what?" Mabyn scrambled into the room, sliding into the room, she scrambled back to Mew's bed side. It had been about an hour since she was last in there, and since everything had been fine! It was only at that moment that she had started screaming-- oh how her ears hurt. "Mew, it's okay." She poked at the woman?s head, knowing there was truly nothing she could do but sit there and hope she calmed down soon, she sighed, covering her cat ears with both hands.

"Huh? Uh, Yin, what's going on..." Dragging along sleepily in her pajamas, a small spotted figure by the name of Sahra trudged into the room. She had been awoken by the racket, and half asleep had wandered down the hall into the room. She hadn't realized the noise was coming from her mother, since almost immediately Yin shoved her out the door.

Slamming it behind her, she scooped Sahra up and stomped back into her room. "You need to sleeeepppp!" She coxed, "Go back to bed, or else you won't be able to get up in the morning."

"Oh, oh, oh kee." She yawned, turning over in her bed, she snuggled up under her warm covers, and headed back off into dreamland! Hopefully her dreams would be better than her mothers, though.
