Step after step down the pathway, staring at the ground she followed the same line, telling herself things would be fine in the end. She had made sure to pace herself, for the added wait of a small girl on her back weighed her down more than she was used to. The ride here had been somewhat long, and the winds during this time of the setting sun had been ever so horrid. Mew stopped in her tracks, peering at the door before her, she hoped to god she had come to right place. Stepping closer, she reached out carefully and rang the doorbell.

Sahra had fallen asleep, despite all the trouble they had had getting here, her day had been unusually rowdy, and she had grown overly tired. But now, on her mothers back she was wide awake, eyes scanning her surroundings, ears twitching, and tail moving about.

"Ah, why thank you." Mew slipped in through the door way, smoothly, but in an odd sort of fashion. Out of the corner of one eye she looked back out the door, a blank look forming on her face, she huffed, and shrugged off reoccurring thoughts. "I am surprised we didn't get lost," Mew admitted truthfully, "I was deadly afraid we had."


Squirming, tail thrashing and arms flailing, Sahra tried to loosen herself from her mothers grip. She wanted down, and she wanted down now, no waiting! The spotted girl was just a tad over being too excited; she was as anxious and anxious could be.

Finally taking action and letting her down, Mew's eyes became momentarily glued to Sahra as she skittered forward a short distance to greet the girl. "It makes perfect sense." She said simply, gaze wandering about lazily after ultimately deciding Sah would be fine. "Our home isn't exactly out in the open, either. But, Mm, I think I could go for something, maybe not coffee, though."

It hadn't taken Sahra long at all to come face to face with her new playmate. Excited feelings were rushing up her spine, making her feel almost a tad uneasy. Sah nodded, as a sort of greeting in place of saying 'Hello.' She found herself not liking to talk much, but, when times called for it, and she had to, she would. "Sahra." Softly spoken, just barely loud enough to hear, and grinned a toothy grin.

Mew nodded slowly, turning her head to peer at a doorway. Taking to the gesture, she slipped in quickly, stopping near the entrance, but backing off slightly to make way for the woman. She hopped that Sahra would get along alright on her own, so far she had, but she couldn't help but worry.

Sahra darted up the stairway, trying to catch up with the girl; she blinked in an almost startled fashion. "Uh..." She stopped a moment to think, but becoming caught up in her own thoughts, she hadn't realized that she was probably falling behind. "Anything!" Sah smiled, giggling, she continued on the move.

Swaying back and forth, one of Mew's darkly colored ears twitched, listening to the talking in the distance. Preoccupied with attempting to hear what was going on, she stumbled backward, slamming one foot down on her own tail. "YAA-" She felt like screeching, and her expression made it seem like she was about to. But she choked the scream back down her throat, gritting her teeth as she stepped forward. An embarrassed like grin curled upon her lips, as if nothing had happened.

Sahra followed the girl curiously, peering about. "Oh-key?" She responded in question, staring at the box; yet another one of those "board game" things that she had never heard about before, huh? Well, it was a game, and a game was a game! So she would have to try it. "Okee, sure then." She nodded.

Mew laughed slightly, ending quickly, she rubbed the back of her head with a clawed hand. Shaking off the event, she shrugged, "Fine, fine." She spoke through gritted teeth, tail thumping around almost madly, "I'm just a klutz, is all."

Listening with widening eyes, Sahra looked the board over with a hawks gaze, eyeing every twist and turn. So the objective was not to hit a snake? Sounded easy enough, you had to keep climbing higher and not hit one of those, yes, sounded dangerous! Going so high and avoiding the barren jaws of a reptile, how fun! "Um." She picked up the green piece, always going for green when she had the chance; it just seemed to always be the one that caught her eye.

Shrugging calmly, Mew had had no thoughts of conflict between the two young girls, they had not even ever occurred to her. She knew Sahra was over adventurous, and loved to imagine and play out battle scenes in the woodlands, but she would never hurt a thing, at least not intentionally. That's why she never really worried about her young spotted daughter, well, at least when it came to socializing. "Mm." She mumbled to herself, shifting her weight uncomfortably, and crossing her arms, she closed her eyes tightly.

Sahra blinked, watching the girl swipe the piece, she hadn't even managed to see what colour it was, but that made her rather curious. "Okee." She said, nodding, setting her piece down on the board. She took the dice, scooping them into both hands; she opened them quickly and stared down at them as if they were precious jewels. "Eh?" She spoke aloud, wondering what she was supposed to do with them; what could it possibly be?
