Noah's Journal
Every day is getting harder and harder to handle, I swear it.
___Originally, Adhara was a little difficult to care for, but that's only to be expected from a toddler. She's a child now, however, and despite that giving me the scare of a lifetime one morning, I thought that she would become more independent, at least a little bit. But, the opposite decided to happen.
___Within recent weeks, since meeting that disturbing demoness, J'her, Adhara's gotten more in touch with her Lust side. True, even before she met J'her she would occasionally throw fits when she wasn't given enough attention or affection, but it's been getting out of hand recently, especially those tentacles of her's. I don't know how much more of this I can handle.
___Thankfully, Guinevere's patient enough to take care of her for me, and I'm going to be going on a vacation for a while. I know that this would probably be considered bad parenting, but what else am I supposed to do? She's adopted, and if I don't get a moment of piece, I think I might explode.

Guinevere blew into her black-gloved hands and rubbed them together, trying to generate some form of heat in the cold that had overtaken Gaia for the winter. It wasn't that she didn't like cold, you see, she just wasn't expecting it to be this cold so soon, and thus didn't have all the different trimmings needed for the winter season. Her black, high-heeled boots crunched through the day-old snow in a way that annoyed her just a small amount, and she tucked her hands in the opposite cherry-red sleeve of the jacket she was wearing, thanking the fact that it was warm beneath a jacket that wasn't actually all that thick for such a cool day.
Her black dress sway about her calves, scraping up against the black tights that she was wearing beneath it, almost completely hidden by the boots that came up almost to her knees and the dress that met them there. She sighed softly, taking her hands out from their sleeves and pulling her hat on a bit tighter, hoping that the weather wouldn't be all this cold for such a long time. Her dual-coloured eyes glanced skyward as she walked, hoping for something pretty to look at, but only coming across the dull gray that always shadowed the sky around the time of a storm.
Ginny grumbled softly to herself, looking back at the wet, slush-covered concrete, saying something about her boyfriend not picking her up because he was 'working'. That, of course, didn't make sense to her, given he was usually off work long before she was. Oh, well. She would just talk to him about it when he got home that day, and then she might be able to understand the reasoning behind it. The woman pulled her keys from her pocket when she approached the large house that the two shared, all alone, though she was currently taking care of her childhood friend's adopted daughter.
However, as soon as she took a step onto the porch, she noticed that something was amiss. She opened the outer door -which always remained unlocked- and her eyes fell upon a small wrapped bundle in a basket, as cliche as it may seem. Her eyes widened, and the woman immediately dropped to her knees beside the abandoned package. It was warmer in the middle room than it was outside, for sure, but it definitely wasn't the proper temperature for a small child, especially one this small.
Carefully, she pulled out the first little girl, a soft smile on her face. The little one had amber eyes and short auburn hair, and was looking around at the room curiously, blinking as though she'd just awakened from a long nap. One of the most amazing parts about the girl, however, were the lilac fairy wings that were extended from her back. Originally, Guinevere was under the belief that this was the only one there was, but a squirming bundle along with soft whimpering sounds from the basket proved otherwise. She reached into it again, and pulled the blanket off a second little girl, almost a carbon copy of the first, though her hair was longer, and her wings a pale green rather than purple.
What an odd stroke of luck? She carried the babes into her house, shushing them softly to keep them both from crying. The other girl was at the door immediately, inspecting both the children, her wings fluttering just a tad. "Where did these two come from?" the child asked curiously, blinking amber eyes at them, before looking up at Guinevere for an answer to her question. Ginny just smiled a bit, though it seemed slightly worried.
"I'm actually not that sure, Adhara," she replied, looking down at the two twins that were in her arms, both of which had snuggled up and seemed to be snoozing. Unfortunately, they weren't exactly tiny, and they were a little big for Ginny to be carrying both of them. "Speaking of which, Adhara, could you take one of them for me, and put her down on the couch for me?" she asked, as kindly as she could without sounding like she was straining to keep them off the ground, which she was.
"Sure," Adhi replied with a bit of a shrug, taking the long-haired one, slightly smaller than the other one, and struggled over toward the couch. Of course, the little girl woke up before she made it all the way. The child jumped out of her arms, wings fluttering just a bit, and she ran over to Guinevere, clinging to one of her legs and hiding from Adhara. Poor girl didn't mean to look so strange, she just kind of... was.
"Sorry, Yanamari. It's alright, see? She's my Godchild," the woman said sweetly, petting the top of the long-haired girl's head. "And see this one? She's your twin sister, Persephone," Guinevere cooed to the small girl who seemed so upset, though there was no reason to be as Guinevere woke the girl in her arms, and gently set her down on her feet beside her sister. Persephone gently rubbed at her eyes, while her sister clung to one of her arms, glancing around the house warily. Adhara looked at Ginny in confusion.
"Did you name them that, or did somebody else tell you those were their names?" she asked, tipping her head to the side like a curious puppy. Guinevere laughed softly, smiling at her temporary ward.
"I actually don't know if those are their names, but I think they seem rather fitting, don't you think?" she asked the hybrid girl, who merely shrugged, and started up the stairs. Apparently, she didn't have an opinion on the matter. Guinevere landed her focus on the children once more, and looked thoughtful for a moment. What was she going to do to actually keep them in the house...? And what would she tell Matthias?

Adhara's Journal
Quote: You are corji- corga- CORDIALLY invited to an Early Christmas Party!![xxx]Hi!! This is Adara Adhara Millicent Beearr By'arre, and you've been invited to come to the Christmas Party that Noah my daddy and Ginny suprised me with. It's going to be at a ski resort up in the mountans, and Ginny is going to pu the adress at the bottom of the letter, so that you know where to go.[xxx]Ginny also says to say that we're going to have ADULT SUPERVISION while we're there, but we're gonna be in a different room, too. Ginny and Matthias are going to be in a room that's connectd to the one that we're in, and they'll keep the door open, so that they know what's going on and so that nothing bad happens or anything.[xxx]The trip's going to last to whole days, and we all can do one fun thing that we want on the second day. We can get a skee-ing lesson, or go ice skating, or sledding, or something like that, but only one of them, 'cause there kinda expensive.[xxx]Also, we're sposed to be doing this thing that Ginny said is called a White Elephant. It's where a buncha people get presents that are all wrapped up, and then they sit in a circle. Then one person picks a present, and unwraps it, and then the next person can either choose to have whatever the first person got, or can unwrap a present for themselves, but if they choose the first person's present, then the first person can unwrap somethin' else. Then it just goes on like that til everyone's got something. I think it sounds like fun, so you should bring something for it!![xxx]I REALLY hope to see you there!!
-Adhara Millicent By'arre [[ P.S. This is Guinevere Silas, godmother of Adhara. I apologize for the misspellings, but Adhara insisted on writing this letter herself, which is good, to say the least. Also, the trip will be happening [here]. Guardians, feel free to come along as well. That is why we chose conjoining rooms. We all hope to see you there!! ]]
LOOKIT WHAT I WROTE!!
___Wull, at least, I wrote most of it! Ginny helped me spell a lot of it, and I sent it to a bunch of the kids who I've met, and I'm really excited for the party that Noah is buying for me. I don't know what I'm going to do yet, though. 'Cause all the things look pretty fun, but some of them are kinda scary to.
___Lesse, I invited... Duncan, and Adree-el, and Slyther, and Ebby, and Leeron, and 'Zuba-heel, and Marr-ee-yk, and Lori, and Winee, and Sam!! I really hope that Slyther and Sam and 'specially 'Zuba show up, 'cause I haven't seen any of them since I was smaller, and now I've gotten bigger, so I'm really, really excited to see them again!! I wish I could have invited Almas, too, but Ginny said that it would be really weird to invite an adult to a party... maybe I should invite him anyways...
___Well, I guess that's all for tonight!!
-Adhara

It would be on a Saturday that you open your mail box (if you have one) and notice there is a rather thick envelope stuffed in there. There is no postage stamp and a very vague return address. But you recognize the font and the company's name. 'Seven of Seven Inc' scrawled in majestic font across the upper left hand corner. As you open it, you may strangely find yourself drawn to the letter, there is a mass of notes inside. They read as follows:
Congratulations! You have managed to succeed in raising your child. (IE: Not killing him or her or getting killed yourself. Haha we kid of course.) We would like an update from you on the following:
Guardians Name: Child's Name: Sin: Virtue: Gender: Current Attitude: Likes: Dislikes: Any abnormal growths: (if any, example: Feathers molting, horns growing larger, scars ) Current hair style: Current clothing preferences: Dominant celestial trait: (The sin or virtue)
Please summarize in your own words how difficult or easy it was taking care of your child. Did you manage to care for them in a kindly fashion? Or were you forced to discipline them? As well do not be alarmed if you suddenly find your child achieving a massive growth spurt in the next little while. We are finding that the children from our facility have strange growing patterns and are rather unpredictable. Although please let us know if anything unexpected occurs.
Sincerely the technicians from Seven of Seven Inc.
Ps. Please just leave your letter back in your mail box one you have completed it our courier will pick it up.
Thank you.
You would notice the letter seems overly friendly...strange since the scientist were so ...cold before.
(Just take the from Guardians name to Dominant Celestial trait and pm it to the mule, the summarization doesn't have to be long just have fun with it.)

That day in the De'chiel household started out... quiet. That was the first sign that something was awry. Typically, Guinevere's goddaughter would have been awake for hours, trying to find just about anything to keep herself entertained, even if that meant rewinding videos that no one had watched in years. As such, Ginny was sneaking through the house, trying to figure out what had happened to the girl, and hoping that she didn't simply vanish, which would be a little impossible. Children didn't just vanish... did they? Having never really taken are of a child, Guinevere couldn't be completely sure.
As soon as she heard the television being turned on, the woman rushed into the living room, orange-tipped hair fluttering about her face. But it wasn't Adhara sitting in front of the television this time, it was the twins. Sighing was a sound that was heavy with defeat, before Ginny realized something blatantly obvious. She hadn't yet checked Adhara's room. 'It's no surprise, though,' she thought to herself, walking back up the stairs and toward the guest bedroom. 'She's never even in her room, at least not during her 'day', that starts at three and ends at midnight. If she even sleeps that long.'
She tapped at the door a couple times before letting herself in. Of course, the sight that greeted her was not the little girl she'd bid a good night to only the evening prior. She did have the same features as Adhara- the tentacles, the gold eyes, the purple hair. But, she'd... filled out, would be the way to put it. She was wearing one of Ginny's nightdresses, having forgotten her own at Noah's apartment, but rather than hanging limply off her shoulders, it practically clung to a feminine frame that Adhara hadn't had before now.
Unfortunately, the girl didn't share in the woman's confusion. This had happened once before and, chances were, it would happen once again. Instead, Adhara blinked wide eyes at the woman who was frozen, hand still on the knob on the outside of the door. She chuckled softly and smiled at her godmother. "Anythin' wrong, Ginny?" she asked, sweet as ever, despite her tentacles outstretching themselves toward the woman. With a humored shake of her head, the pre-teen gently petted the strange appendages, which seemed content to turn their affections on the girl in a way that had Guinevere turning in embarrassment, closing the door and leaning against it.
"Um- Adhi? Get dressed, sweetie, we're going to... go somewhere," she stated awkwardly, wondering if any of the girl's clothes would even fit her anymore. She went to her own room, binding down her wings and putting on one of the skirt-suits that she usually wore out of the house, puling her hair into a sloppy bun and sticking a pair of glasses on, in too much of a hurry to bother with contacts that morning. She left the room and went downstairs quickly, opening the door only to end up face-to-face with Matthias, who'd been reaching for the doorknob at that exact moment. That was right, wasn't it? He was scheduled to get home that morning.
"Alright, here's the story- I'm taking Adhara to the Facility that she came from because she suddenly got bigger. There are two little girls in the living room; someone left them on our porch a while ago. Got all that?" she asked, before kissing him on the cheek. "Alright. I'll be back soon. I love you." Leaving a stunned and confused boyfriend in her wake, Guinevere walked out to her car, opening the side door and waiting for Adhara to come out. Well, she did. In a black-and-red, cherry-themed dress that barely reached far enough to cover her in a way that was deemed appropriate. They'd need to get some clothes for her soon, lest Noah attack her for his daughter wearing her old dresses. She also had a deep magenta scarf she'd recently finished knitting with her, though heaven only knew why she needed that to go back to Seven of Seven.
They were at the Facility in a matter of minutes, and it was already obvious how irritated Ginny was now, though Adhara wasn't sure why. The smaller girl tugged her dress down over her hips a bit, making sure that it wasn't revealing anything, before she followed Guinevere inside of the building. But, her main objective didn't involve Guinevere, who was busy yelling at a tech. What did interest her, however, was the sudden appearance of a little boy whom she'd never before seen, currently being dragged along by a tech much as she'd been as a toddler. The girl blinked her amber eyes curiously; was it really that long ago that she'd been so young?
The tyke easily slipped away from the adults, given they were arguing over something or other. He put the tip of one of his fingers in his mouth and looked up Adhara with wide, green eyes, irresistibly childish despite his patchily scaled skin and all. A spaded, feathery-tipped tail flicked behind him as he dropped his hand from his mouth and pointed up to the ribbon wrapped around Adhara's head, keeping her hair back for the moment. And then came the word that would haunt their household for longer than they'd care to imagine from a little boy seeming so small. "Want!"

Noah's Journal
Okay, it's decided. I am never leaving anyone in charge of my kids, ever again.
___The results of my vacation were completely ridiculous. I left to be able to relax and come back to a child as well behaved as Adhara always had been. One step into Guinevere's mansion of a house, and there were suddenly four different children. FOUR!! HOW do you acquire THREE children in only a MONTH.
___But that's not all, oh no. Turns out that the pre-teen whom I barely recognise is my own daughter, wearing the same clothes that she used to wear. This would be fine if it weren't for the fact that she's now a FOOT TALLER and suddenly has CURVES. And THEN, Guinevere tells me that this boy who's fighting with Adhara over one of her dresses is MY son. I don't have a son!! WHY did I leave and come back to the entire world turned UPSIDE DOWN.
___Alright, alright. I suppose that I can't blame Guinevere for everything that happened. When Adhara got bigger the first time, it was an abrupt, overnight change, so that was normal. However, what didn't make sense was the fact that Ginny decided to ask the FACILITY what had happened when it was obvious that she'd gone through a GROWTH SPURT. Could she not figure that out herself?!
___Anyway... while she was there, they asked her a bunch of questions, and then gave her ANOTHER child who was supposed to be mine?! How is that- Oh, nevermind. With those crazy lab-people, I'm not really surprised. The child I have now was named Aludra by Guinevere, which is a fine name, and is a combination of Humility and Greed. At least I know better than to let him see his sin when he becomes a child...
