Adhara regretted taking the little girls to such a place already. It was just a small restaurant, no big deal normally. Of course, this one was a serve-yourself, all-you-can-eat buffet, absolutely full of screaming children. Now, not to get me wrong, but Adhara wasn't one for places such as that. She liked them when she was with Noah and some other person, talking between the lot of them, and yet... now, all she was doing was walking slooowly behind her younger temporary siblings, Reena and Niita pulling things off the buffet line and throwing them at people, before going back to what they were doing before, leaving Adhara to apologize and take the blame all herself.
Her amber eyes watched the tray as it slid across the little tray-holder thing, the crackers that had been placed on it sliding around a bit. It seemed, at least, that her tentacles were enjoying themselves, but she certainly wasn't. She glanced around sleepily, before sighing and shaking her head. There was no reason to be here. If she was lucky, she would be able to leave in a timely manner and go do something interesting, like... play lasertag or... learn how to play paintball or something that wasn't this. As much as she could usually at least stand Yanamari and Persephone, the two fae were getting very much on her nerves. Her wings fluttered softly, and she served herself some red jello, looking at it with a bit of disgust before smothering it in whipped cream.

Zach had tried to keep his grip on Dion when they entered the small restaurant but he might as well have been trying to stop a race car. Dion struggled and growled as he used all his might to get away from him and Emilie. Sadly, or thankfully in Dion's case, he was free from their grasp. They hadn't even gotten to their table yet and Dion was off, running to the buffet line at speed that Zach didn't even know he was capable of. Zach sighed, he should have known better to bring him here. Dion couldn't stay still for more then ten seconds and Zach knew all too well that the mob of children and their screaming would get Dion excited to the point of chaos. He hoped he didn't get into any trouble with people. For once Zach was grateful for his height, he could see over everyone which made it easy to keep an eye on Dion. Even when he sat down he could see the top of Dion's purple head as the boy ran all over the place. Zach cast a glance to Emilie who smiled at him and sat down. "Let him have his fun." She said softly, almost impossible to hear in all this noise. Zach gave her a weary smile, Dion was turning out to be a handful but he couldn't exactly complain. Zach knew all too well that he hadn't been an easy kid to look out for. Still, Zach at least slept at night. Dion barely shut his eyes for a few hours before jumping up, wide awake, and running around. Zach would need to find a way to help Dion dispose some of that excess energy. Something creative but he wasn't sure what. He'd figure it out later.
Dion zoomed to the front of the restaurant, the screaming of the children surrounding him made it almost impossible for him to hear his own thoughts. Dion had mixed feelings about this place. It was small, a down side, but there were tons of children and noise to keep him occupied. Still, Dion didn't want to talk to the children, they were all with their friends and they eyed him oddly. Dion didn't know why but he didn't bother to find out. He moved directly to the buffet line where he was much more interested with the food.
As Dion came closer to the buffet line he began to think about his activities for the night. Due to constant boredom Dion had begun to plan out his after hour activities, the ones that usually consisted of snooping around the house. He couldn't wake up Zach or Emilie at that time, the times he had they simply told him to go back to sleep or tucked him in but Dion couldn't. He had done all the sleeping he could and even as he walked to the buffet line the thought of having to go to sleep nearly made him groan. He could only lay in that bed for a few hours before kicking off his sheets and moving around. Zach had told him once that he was going to put the Sandman out of work but Dion didn't know what that meant. As Dion thought he paid little attention to his surroundings so he didn't notice the buffalo wings that came hurtling out of the sky before smacking him in the face.
Dion froze at first, he felt the buffalo wing slip off his face and onto the ground. It left a dark brown streak on the side of his nose and his right cheek and down his chest. He stared at it as it lay on the floor, making a greasy brown stain on the cheap red carpet that spread out across the restaurants floor. Dion's head snapped up as he stared around for the culprit. Dion wasn't one to enjoy getting greasy food thrown at him. As his frowning eyes zoomed across the scene he caught sight of a tall girl, or at least taller then him, with wings and purple tentacles. His anger subsided as he admired her wings and tentacles from afar. Of course this was only for a brief moment before he marched towards her and poked a clawed finger into her back roughly. He was silent, staring at the girl and waiting for her to turn around before telling her off.

Minding her own business as her tentacles minded theirs, Adhara scooped some goldfish crackers onto her plate, followed by some pepperoni slices as well as a slice of watermelon. Of course, she wasn't likely to finish so much as half of it, but it all looked so good, she couldn't not get something that she wanted. She managed to not notice Niita when she threw the buffalo wing at a tailed child whom she should have noticed in the first place, but didn't manage to, obviously.
When she was jabbed, she winced slightly, leaving her tray on the wire-rack-thing as she turned to the culprit, amber eyes widening a bit, though they slowly went into a glare at how angry the boy looked at her, without reason, as far as she could tell. "Hi...?" she greeted questioningly. Her questions of his anger were answered, of course, when that same right tentacle reached into the buffet line and took about a handfull of cheese, throwing it at the small boy, at which point it promptly stuck to the buffalo sauce on his face. Had Niita a mouth, she probably would have been in hysterics.
Gasping softly, Adhara glared at the tentacle in question, grabbing it near the top. "Niita, you don't do that! Especially to people you don't even know or little kids," she grumbled irritably, grabbing a napkin off her tray and wiping the food off of the tentacle. Of course, as soon as she'd done that and moved on to cleaning off Reena, the other tentacle reached onto the buffet again, this time grabbing bacon bits, and sprinkling them on the hybrid girl's head. Groaning in irritation, she pulled Niita away from the buffet again, as well as Reena, though she now had no hands free to do much, and smiled sheepishly at the boy. "S-sorry..."

Dion wasn't amused, he wasn't amused at all. He hadn't moved an inch as the girl's tentacle known as Niita threw cheese at him. He simply glared at the girl, glared so hard that his eyes hurt. Dion did not like this girl, couldn't she control her limbs? He didn't accept her apology, not yet at least. Instead he moved forward and around the girl and to the buffet. He leaned up a little bit to reach into the buffet line and grab a fist food of something. Once he felt he had a decent hand full he pulled it back and threw it at the girls chest where it landed with a nice splat.
Once the mystery substance was out of his grasp Dion couldn't help but smirk. "Apology accepted." He said with a tone of triumph. Whatever he had thrown didn't look too appealing. It was white and chunky, Dion was pretty sure it was potato salad or something equally as gross.

Of all things that the Lust girl may have been expecting, that was definitely not one of them. Her eyes widened, before she glared at the smaller boy, wiping the rather foul-smelling cottage cheese-like substance off. "When I said I was sorry, I didn't mean 'sorry I threw things at you, let's get even', I meant 'sorry I threw things at you, I can't control my tentacles and they do stuff like that a lot'!" Adhara growled. If there was one thing worth being protective of, they were the dresses that Guinevere made for her. No less, this was a black one, now sporting a big, white splotch.
Niita and Reena, however, weren't the type to get mad. They were the type to get even, even if that involved throwing things at Adhara, which they weren't doing at the moment. Instead, Reena pulled Adhara to facing the buffet and grabbed a handful of green jello, while Niita grabbed a plastic jug of Thousand Island dressing. Without giving Adhara or the little boy a single chance to react, Reena tugged him forward, in the process, dropping the jello down the front of his shirt, while Niita poured the dressing all over his head and shoulders. Adhara couldn't help but snicker a bit, though she tried to hide it. This wasn't going to be good...

Dion wasn't exactly listening to the girl, instead he was admiring the wonderful white stain that was on the girls black dress. It was so vibrant against the black, every one would be able to see Dion's fantastic aim from all directions. He could tell that this girl was angry at him but he didn't exactly care. They were even and that was all that mattered. Dion was about to turn and and head back to Emilie and Zach but he felt something grab him tightly and pull him closer to the girl. His eyes snapped open wide as he realized that what had grabbed him was the girl's tentacles.
And then, just before Dion could register how nifty it would be to have an extra pair of limbs like her's, he felt something cool slide down his chest before something wet began to ooze down his head and shoulders. His expression was that of pure shock before he shut his eyes tightly and fought against the grip of the girls tentacles.
He kicked his legs and did his best to pull away from the girl's tentacles. He was making some progress but he decided to stop. Instead he threw his hands towards the buffet and grabbed two containers, one was red and another was yellow. He held onto them tightly as he brought them close to him and aimed for the girl's face. And then, with a growl, Dion squeezed them tightly and set a line of ketchup and mustard at the girls face.
What was that Zach always said when they played? "This means war." Dion muttered to her with a sharp toothed smirk.

Due to her uncontrollable giggling, Adhara didn't notice the small boy's motions until it was too late. She squealed as the ketchup and mustard were both sprayed toward her face, and she tried to use her hands as a shield, which resulted in the pattern showing itself on her hands as well as her face. Whining irritably, she rubbed some of the sauce off her face and flung it off her fingertips, glaring at the little boy. At the comment from the little boy, a devilish grin slowly slipped onto her face, the agreement obvious.
Reena and Niita groped toward the buffet again, this time retrieving a 'hand'ful of mini pieces of cake, as well as strawberry sauce, which they mashed into the boy's hair. Grinning at what the short kid was looking like, she reached toward the buffet and grabbed a handful of whipped cream, dropping it atop the child's head. "Nice to meet you, too, Strawberry Shortcake," she commented spitefully, more angry than she'd really been toward anyone before, especially given her sin. It was crazy, as she'd never seen herself as the type to get angry at this sort of thing. But she wasn't part patience, after all, was she?

Dion growled at the girl. Strawberry shortcake? Was that his new nickname? Dion didn't like it at all, he didn't like it one bit. Dion grasped for anything on the buffet line, he felt something wet and then something metal. A spoon? Dion grabbed it and turned to Adhara. He held onto the spoon tightly as he threw the orange ranch dressing at her, hitting her on the stomach and legs. Bad aim but at least it was something. Dion's free hand reached up and grabbed some sliced pickles. He took his opportunity and ran up to the girl, getting very close before shoving the pickles into her face. A wide, sharp toothed grin on his face as he did so. As he took a step back and pulled Adhara's glasses off and pointed at her, "HAHAHAHAHA!!" He laughed. They were making a mess and some waiters had gathered round to watch along with all the children who had been playing before. Dion didn't care, he was having fun. He waved Adhara's glasses in the air as he laughed before he finally put them on his face despite how they were covered and ketchup and mustard. He stuck his tongue out at Adhara. Her glasses made everything fuzzy and weird but he didn't care, he could still tell where she was and that was all that mattered.
Zach had noticed how most of the people within the restaurant had grown silent, the children had run up to the buffet line and there was some commotion going on. "I...should go check that out." Zach said more to himself then to Emilie. Emilie looked a bit worried, she stretched forward to see if she could get a decent look of what was going on before them but she couldn't. She nodded to Zach but stayed where she was. They both had a feeling who was causing the commotion and neither were very happy about it.

Adhara jumped at the cold of the strange substance that was slowly dripping down her legs. It was completely in error of her to squat down to wipe it off, but she didn't notice until a moment too late, when the little boy shoved a handful of pickles in her face. The Lust spawn squealed unhappily and backpedaled, spitting the tainted cucumber from her mouth and trying to get away from the toddler. That didn't happen, of course, until after her glasses had been torn off her face.
Now, Adhara's knowledge of swear words had been limited to the strange things that she'd heard on Noah's musicals and such. That was until Guinevere had enrolled her in various little classes scattered about the weeks, each of which lasted somewhere around three to five hours, some which were specific, others which weren't. Since enrolling in said classes, her vocabulary had gotten a lot more... colourful.
Amber eyes opened wide when the girl realized that she couldn't see anymore, the shapes around her no more than blurs of colour. Which, of course, made it easy to spot the purply blob of the toddler's hair in front of her. Lashing out angrily, she grabbed onto his hair and yanked. Hard. "Give me back my glasses, you little p***k!!" Adhara was never one to scream, either, but that was one of few words that could properly describe exactly how that angry sentence had been... expressed.
Unfortunately for the girl, her guardian was currently on the other side of the country, and the only relatives with her were Yanamari and Persephone. And what could those two do? They were only toddlers themselves. Besides, they were always too wrapped up in their own menial lives to care about anyone else's.

Dion yelped as Adhara grabbed a fist full of his hair and wouldn't let go. His hands grasped onto her wrist and clawed at it. "Lemme go!!" He shouted as he tried to force her to loosen her grip. He hadn't expected her to know where he was, people with glasses weren't supposed to be able to see without them. Dion growled as he glared at Adhara, her face twisted and fuzzy from the glasses. He pushed forward, slamming into her with all his weight and knocking her to the ground. He tugged at her hand in a desperate attempt to release him before finally slamming his fist into any part that he could reach which at this time happened to be her stomach. "Let go!!" Dion ordered. He turned his head upward as he snapped his jaw at the hand that held to his head.
Zach squeezed his way through the crowd and to the front. Being the height that Zach is it wasn't hard to see what was going on from a couple rows back. This, of course, was the reason why Zach pushed to the front. He had made it just in time to see Dion knock the poor girl to the ground and hit her in the stomach. Zach jumped in quickly, grabbed Dion by the back of his shirt, and pulled him up. He lifted him a good bit above Adhara, so he wouldn't be able to touch her anymore. Whether or not she was still holding on to him, Dion was kicking and flailing around in a desperate attempt to get back to Adhara. He growled and snapped and did his best to try and get away but Zach held him tightly and scolded him. "Dion! Enough! Stop it now!!" He ordered but Dion paid him no mind.
"Who're you calling p***k? p***k!" Dion didn't know what it meant but he was sure it was something bad. Adhara seemed angry and people said bad things when they were angry. Dion was dripping by now, dripping with all the food Adhara had smashed into his hair and on his clothe. He was sticky and smelled like the buffet line and he didn't care. He continued to kick his legs but now his arms were pinned to his side so it was much harder to struggle.
Zach took a couple steps away from Adhara, apologizing to her as he moved back. "I'm sorry, I hope Dion didn't hurt you." Zach felt bad that he couldn't help her up but he knew better then to let go of Dion. He had never seen him this way and wondered what could have possibly provoked it.

By the time the boy had been pulled off of her, the only part left with any urge to fight were her tentacles, who reached out toward the boy in a way that, for once, was not expected to be friendly. At all. Trying to press down the appendages, Adhara sat back up and wiped more of the food-stuff from her face, squinting to try and make sense of the blurred colours around her. From the sounds alone, she could tell that someone -likely the boy's guardian- had intervened. The girl coughed a couple times, flapping her wings to help herself to her feet and trying to see far enough to take her glasses off the child's face.
For once actually obeying her thought process, one of her tentacles reached out to snatch the glasses from the boy's face and shove them onto her own. Blinking a few times to clear her line of sight, she glanced up at the man who had arrived, a flush of embarrassment sliding onto her face. "No, no, I should be sorry, too," she mumbled, her tentacles trying to be forgiven only to be pushed off to the side. "After all, I was the one who started it... kinda," she tried to confess, though she didn't really believe that the man would understand the fact that her tentacles had minds of their own, so to say.

Zach placed Dion behind him and scolded him silently once he had calmed down enough. Kneeling down in front of him as to separate the two, Dion still continued to glared at Adhara and Zach was forced to snap his fingers in front of his face multiple times to grain his attention. The anger and authority in Zach's face and voice made Dion stare down at his feet in silence, his hands in fist as his jaw clenched tightly shut. Once he was done he stood up straight, frowning at the angry Dion. "Go to Emilie and bring her here, we're going home." He told him in a quiet but stern tone. Dion flashed Adhara one final glare before walking through the crowd to Emilie. The crowd parted for him, not wanting to touch the small angry toddler who was covered in food.
Zach sighed slightly, rubbing his forehead before he turned back to Adhara with an apologetic smile. He noticed the white stain on her shirt and the ketchup and mustard on her face. "No, no, no. Don't worry about anything, I'm sure whatever caused this was by accident and Dion just blew it out of proportion." Zach said to her. "Are you okay? He didn't hurt you too bad? I'm sorry about your dress. How much was it?" He asked with that same apologetic smile, he didn't think that white stain would be coming out any time soon.

Adhara chuckled nervously at the situation being considered merely an accident. Really, it didn't seem like it actually was nothing more than that. After all, Reena and Niita had been the ones to cause the trouble in the first place, so it was sort of her fault, truth-be-told. One of he feet tapped at the ground nervously and she looked up at the man with a bit of surprise when he asked if she'd been hurt at all. "No, no, I'm fine, don't worry about it!" she replied quickly, a sheepish chuckle emerging from her throat. "Just a bit messy, that's all." Right, that was all. Diligence child that she was, and overly clean for that matter, she felt a very strong impulse to go drench herself in sink water if that would help.
Wide amber eyes blinked a few times, before she laughed at the question of how much her dress cost, before she covered her mouth, realizing that could have been seen as rude. "Don't worry about it, really. One of Noa- er, my guardian's friends makes my dresses for me, and even so, my guardian... could easily afford a new one and everything," she commented, looking down at her feet just a bit and shuffling them on the ground. It was always awkward and made her feel as though she was coming off as conceited when she talked about the fact that her dad had a rather ridiculous amount of money, even though that wasn't at all what she was going for. It was true, after all. She glanced at the material of her dress, and the large white stain covering it, a weak smile coming to her face. "If we can't get the stain out, I'm pretty sure that Guinevere could just make a new one," she added, nodding a bit and blinking up at the boy's guardian, before she wiped her hand off on one of the cleaner parts of her dress, and held it out to the man. "My name's Adhara, by-the-way." After all, being polite had never hurt anyone. Well, not that she knew of.

Her laugh at his question surprised him but that was about it. He smiled at her, so far she was very polite. He doubted that she was the cause of the food fight but he didn't say anything. Whether she had or had not Zach was going to give Dion a talking to about hitting girls. You don't, it's as simple as that. No matter how much older or bigger or whether or not they started whatever, hitting girls was a big no-no in Zach's book.
Zach took Adhara's hand and shook it, "It's a pleasure to meet you Adhara. I'm Zacheus, you can call me Zach." He said with a slight nod to show that he really didn't mind. "Your guardian's friend has a talent, that dress is lovely. Would be even lovelier without the mess..." Zach said with a slight laugh. "I'm very sorry about that." He said again.
Zach was silent for a moment, staring at Adhara's tentacles. "If you don't mind me asking." Zach began, "But you are from the Seven's facility, yes?" Zach asked. He had never seen a child with tentacles before, he was curious.
Meanwhile, Dion was leading Emilie back to Zach despite how Emilie desperately tried to clean Dion up. She had tried to get him to come with her to the bathroom but Dion refused. He seemed to be wearing the food with pride. "You're taking a bath right when you get home." Emilie said as she picked out some cake from his hair.

"The pleasure's all mine," she replied sweetly, chuckling a bit at the comment to Ginny's talent at making dresses. "I'll be sure to tell her that," she noted, before shaking her head. "No, really, it's fine. I mean, I can't say it happens all the time, but it's gotta happen at some point, right?" she noted, nodding a few times with a soft smile.
She eyed the little boy who was returning with some suspicion, though when Zach spoke again, she nodded quickly. "I am," she replied, almost sounding proud of this fact. "Lust and Diligence," she finished, still not completely realizing exactly what lust's capabilities were.
As though sensing that they hadn't been properly introduced, her tentacles stretched out toward Zach with a grabby hands motion, wanting pets and whatever else they would be able to get out of being grabby. She frowned at them softly, before smiling up at the boy's guardian weakly. "And, by-the-way, this is Reena, and this is Niita," she commented, gesturing first to her right tentacle, and then to her left.
