Her nose wrinkled as she thought of many others she had crossed during her travels or even when running miniscule errands. The ones she dealt with most easily were the ones she could read like books. Not lifting a finger only disappointed her.
Clearing her throat she brought herself back to Epithany. It would be rude to zone her out in the middle of a conversation. "To flow seamlessly with your magic would seem too difficult I must admit. You have so many skills and such vast knowledge of what you are and what you can do that you can improve many techniques and master many, but regardless of such there will come a point when one perfect skill requires the sacrifice of another."
Not wanting to be rude, she bit her tongue for a moment, and upon thinking about it, decided there was no need for silence. "It just seems that you need to narrow your scope if you ever wish to run like the river does."

“Ah I’m so bored.” Hotaru said with a sigh as she entered the building. She had developed a habit of coming here late at night for some reason. That wasn’t very good since she was just a kid and all. After going inside, she decided to wander down a hall instead of going into the bar like she usually did. She went down some steps as the end of the hall and came into the arena. She remembered the place from when she and Keno were playing before. She blinked, noticing two other people there as well. She looked around for a place to hide so she could watch them.

Grasping a pocket watch that dangled from the waist of her skirt she smiled.
"There is a reasoning for all things. As I have said to you. I am far older than I look."
Making note of the presence of the young girl who had entered the arena space she smiled. Gazing unseeingly in the direction in which the child hid she smiled.
"No need to be wary of us. We mean you no harm."
