Valin smiled, "Something very unusual."
He reached behind his cloak and took the hilt of his weapon from the belt and placed it on the counter. His lightsaber was such a simple thing, looking like it was thrown together of old parts, worn from use - but it was actually very well built and a fine example of how looks could be deceiving, "This weapon is called a lightsaber. This is the hilt. When I press the activation, a beam of light comes out that is the actual blade. The lightsaber is basically an omnidirectional blade that can cut through most things instantly, depending usually on thickness."

A blade of light? Now this, was something he'd have to see for himself eventually. But if it could truely cut through most anything, then Konosuke didn't want to take his blades against that. One was his wifes, and he wouldn't risk hers for anything.
The samurai leaned down, looking at the 'hilt' on eye level, taking every detail into his single eye. It didn't look *that* extraordinary, but the way this man's arm was formed, it was likely more sophisticated than it seemed.
"I am intruigued by this 'lightsaber' of yours. If it can cut through things, as you say, then I'd rather not risk my katana's against it."
The samurai finished off his glass of Sake, and placed the empty vessel back down on on the counter.
"For now though, I believe I shall take my leave. It has been a great pleasure, talking to you, Valin-san. I certainly hope our paths cross again, high or low. Ja ne."
With a deep bow to Valin, and the others present, Konosuke took his leave, walking slowly out of the heavy doors of the club with a little trouble opening the entryway. The bottle of Sake was left on the counter, to replace the one he had taken a few nights back.
