<<@Yenny: Deity can't break rules that don't exist.... =P >>
::The tall boy's head lifts in time with the knocking on the bartop, sounding an awful lot like someone knocking at the door. The urge to call out 'Yes?' is thankfully not too strong, and goes unrealized in hopes that the sudden break in movement will be enough of an indicator that Deity knows that his attention's requested.
Fortunately it is, and a query follows it a few seconds later. With a gentle voice just louder than a whisper, the slender Tonepian responds without turning his head.::
....just an old trick.
::One could gather that if they were clearing their throat or even sighing heavily, they'd overpower his quiet vocie and miss what he said. Deity really isn't one to speak up, of course. He waits a moment after his answer to tilt his head back, his left arm lifting as he sips from the cold water in his hand, right dropping the freed cap to the counter against the wall. As Epithany passes through to retrieve a beverage, the owner gives the woman a close-lipped smile and a friendly nod, but doesn't speak to her. He does the same as she says goodnight and departs. Come to think of it, he can't remember the last time he spoke with her. He really should drop in when people are around more.::

The samurai turned his head slightly so that his right eye could get a better look behind teh counter. He was rather surpised to see a tall, dark haired man standing there all of a sudden. His blue eyes went wide, his left opening ever-so slightly to reveal a milky blue orb underneath the scarred lid. It quickly closed again though.
"Konichiwa, good sir...."
Konosuke tried to remember if he had seen him on his initial arrival. He might have been in his blind spot though. But then Epithany-chan placed a bottle of Sake before him, and that brought the smile back to his face.
"Arigato, Epithany-san. Ja ne."
He bowed lightly to the gree-haired woman as she departed for the evening. He then took the bottle in his right hand and pulled it closer. The cap, however, didn't want to twist off single-handedly. So he lifted it from the counter, and held it still between his knees so he could get the top off.

<<@Yenny: Nuu, you have rules for the types of demons you two cooked up together. Same goes for the two types that Deity has created, only one of which has been introduced (three if you count Fierce, but mehh). Deity's rules don't apply to you, just as yours don't apply to him....hence, there are no set rules that apply to all demons. . =;;
...and if you want a post updated somewhere, show Deity where it is and give him the updated version of it so he can edit it for you.>>

Deity? This man was the owner? Two birds with one stone: Meet a guy with an interesting skill and thank him for having built this place and letting him stay...Even though he hadn't really asked if he could stay. He just kinda...Did it. This guy seemed interesting all in his own, intantaneous movement or not. Xaith grinned.
"Its very nice to meet you, Deity. I'd like to thank you for sheltering me. Though you may not have known it, a few months back, I came to this tower shortly after I crashed on this planet. At any rate, I had stayed here for a few nights and I wanted to say thank you. And I was actually kind of wondering if you happened to have a place that I could stay? I hate to bother you, but I really have no other place to go. New planet, new people...Mostly humans that don't understand the concept of a demon."
He leaned forward against the counter, resting his left forearm on the counter top and holding his weight up with just that arm, using his right hand to lift the bill of his hat up, revealing icey blue eyes for the first time. A few strands of light blue hair fell down, framing his tanned face. His look was kind and gentle, but his eyes were slightly hardened from a fair share of battles and slightly screwed up past. But there were others who'd had much more traumatic lives than he did, and he understood this. He wasn't going to whine about how crappy his life was when so many others were worse off.

Yenek continued his thought process until he finally looked up "I've got it!" he said calmly and suddenly a woman's outline appeared in front of him. The Devil Lord seemed to be manipulating the outline as a scultor would manipulate clay. Yenek shaped horns on the omans head they would seem like thick strands of hair flowing backward, as these horns were about half the length of Yenek's. Yenke gave the outline a short tail, indicating that this would be a frail, an odd one at that as Frails were normally bodyguards and amazingly huge. This one was sleek and streamline. Yenek smiled and snapped his fingers. The Frail took life, she looked about 24, as was the case with most of the women of Oblivion this girl was very attractive, her long black hair set against a tanned face. She looked around with a blank expression and disappeared. Yenek smiled and closed his eyes "She's in Oblivion and not falling apart that was a success." Yenmek sadi to himself

::The quiet Tonepian turns his head gently and grants the other newcomer a smiling nod as well. Gotta love the polite ones - especially when they stay that way when startled. That's when the door-knocker starts speaking again. Quite a lot. Just blinking a few times, Deity's not sure what he should say in response. "You're welcome"? "That's nice, what's your name"? "What the hell, get out of my house"? He's a demon, but that's not very uncommon. With billions of people on this planet, it isn't at all strange to find one of every ten people you meet to be something other than human.
After a few seconds, the Orinian turns, his perplexed expression hidden by his headband and eyeglasses. Wordy fellow, he thinks to himself. A smile tugging as his lips, he pauses a few moments before clearing his throat and responding, the slightest hint of sarcasm detectable in his voice.::
....sure.
::As he speaks, Deity diggs into his back left pocket, the quiet yet familiar jingle of keys heard. At this time, he sets his water bottle down to the counter. He removes from his pocket a large keychain, holding at least seven keys. One looks less like a key and more like a tiny remote, though Deity doesn't hold the chain still long enough for one to really look at it. Keeping it near his abdomen, he tugs one of them off with a snap, holding it up at eye level and inspecting it. While the design is mildly different, streamlined and more linear, it is clearly a key. Metallic and black, the red number '3' is carved into it as precisely as the letters on a penny.
After a breath or two, he turns ninety degrees, slipping the keychain back into his pocket with one hand and handing the '3' key to the newcomer. Even should he take hold of it, he would find it firm in Deity's grip. Likely his eyes would trail back up the tall boy's arm to find his face, seemingly expressionless and focused on him for the moment.::
What's your name...?

"Sorry about that. Probably should've mentioned that first. Name's Xaith."
He reaced out his left arm and opened his hand and inch or two below the owner's hand. He didn't like taking things out of people's hands. Made him feel weird.

Konosuke nodded back at the stranger behind the counter with a smile, feeling no sense of animosity or anything form this fellow. Realizing that the hour was growing late, however, the samurai decided it would be wise to head back to his camp. Placing the loosened bottle of Sake on the counter, he stood to his full 5'10" height.
"I hope you don't mind, but I would like to take this with me, if I could. I will gladly pay for it on my return."
Seeing the man busy with one of the demon folk from earlier, he hoped he had heard. Kono wanted to get back to his camp before it got too dark outside. With a slight bow to the man, whom he presumed was the owner, Konosuke picked up the bottle of Sake with his right arm, and headed for the doorway.
Tucking the bottle against his side, the samurai used his elbow and foot to open the door to the outside, the incoming breeze causing his empty sleeve to flutter. Then in a heart beat, he was gone, humming softly to the night sky as he walked back down the path he had taken earlier.

::With nought but a nod, the boy flips his hand and drops the little key into Xaith's hand. With the same hand, he points his index finger, gesturing with a wave of his wrist toward the elevator. The use of the key would become self-explanatory once he gets that far. Anything else he needs to know can wait until an earlier time of day. There's a young lady upstairs who's almost wearing a snug pair of PJs awaiting his presence, and he hasn't the time to explain the little things.
Though he hears something about the new guy buying something, he is well on his way out before Deity can ask him to repeat himself, the Orinian left staring at the closing entrance. Not to worry. He doesn't feel anything strange of him, so it likely isn't of any concern. That out of the way, he stands back up straight and backs away from Xaith, turning about-face to retrieve his water and the cap it came with.::
Sleep well....
::Though waiting a few seconds for a response, he clearly isn't doing such so he can answer any questions the new guest may have - moments later, he is gone again. Just like that. In the time it takes to blink, he's someplace else. Strange to some, as normal as walking to others. Deity's never been one to stay out and about for long.::

((lawl, Pith hates Tac. XD >.> He actually meditates a whole helluvalot more than I make it seem. I mean hell, anytime I'm not posting he's usually shut himself down for that purpose... and to prolong his finite existence. This is me rambling, btw. Don't care that much OOC, but a post with four words and a smilie seemed to be a waste.))
