All he could actually do was smile at Jade's answer. Like him, she wanted her death to be on her terms and no other. Nothing could be said against that. Everyone deserved to die however they wanted - assuming they were decent enough people anyway. All thing considered, he completely respected that.

So be it then. If that's the case though, don't half a** your training, or else I'll beat you up myself. On the outside he was smiling, clearly joking about his threat. Likely though he would punish her somehow if he caught her doing any less than her best. Lifting Hotaru out of his lap, he rose and put her back down on his stool.

"Keno has to go now okay? Stop picking on Tali, he just came by for a drink." Ruffling her hair, he smiled and turned to hug Jade affectionately.

Take care of yourself. I'll probably keep my distance for a while, but I won't be too far away should you need me. As was his nature, he left without using the door. He didn't open it, he didn't walk through it, he didn't even approach it. All he did was vanish like a wisp of smoke, leaving the party to keep itself company.

Not bothering to keep the end of the conversation a secret from the world, the girl returned his hug whole-heartedly and with a smile that brought some of that light back to her green eyes. She simply giggled a little at Keno's normal vanishing act, and sighed softly. Only her, the little girl, and Taliman left now.

I still have one definite option for training though. I haven't used it in a while, but perhaps Deity, or even Father, would be willing to help me with it....

Jade sat there in silence for the moment, leaning back against the bar counter behind her and drumming her fingers lightly against it.
