((Not today, unfortunately. It's Sunday. I've stuff to do. And I'll be having school all week, then comes Spring Break. Yipee!!
EDIT: I feel so deliciously samurai-like. I bought a katana at a flee market. ))

.....Rolling in with the tides from the east, a body splayed full-eagle washed ashore 'pon the white-sand beaches, each individual grain shimmering with the slowly sinking sun so far away on the horizon. Now, just like any day, it was freezing cold, and one would expect nothing less than a boy of nineteen years of age--for that was the appropriate age for the individual who was the character of this particular story--to have caught hypothermia, even after no more than ten minutes within the frigid waters of Baffin Bay. However, something odd was in motion, and the boy, other than being partially out of his senses after the furious waves he had endured, was suffering no visible problems due to the cold that should have been hard at work long ago within his system. .....After coughing up a good deal of salt-infested sea water, his weak hands found a way to grab ahold of the sandy ground and supply him with support, pushing the rest of his body to rest upon his knees. Staying like this for several minutes, perhaps a good fifteen, his eyes blinked twice, hard, and rubbed them; the salt still burned, but his vision was finally readjusting to where he could cope. Straining upwards with his aching body, he was upon his feet now, and heading further west, inland. He had spotted what seemed to be path made of cobblestone. 'Sure enough,' he thought upon closing in upon the target. Indeed it was a cobblestone pathway, and it appeared to be headed into a looming forest of rather large proportions. .....Unknown to him, it was headed due west. But that wasn't really important to the situation; he simply began along its length.

.....Currently, the newcomer was in not even least of good moods, and for good reason: He was soaking wet; his eyes were ablaze; the frigid air was quickly drying out his nostrils, eyes, mouth, skin; his body ached from previous events and the more recent bashing he'd received from the oceans; wildlife was teeming annoyingly all about him. As he walked further and further along the pathway heading so straightforward, his unusual temper of late began to kick like a babe within the womb, turning gear after unruly gear. ....."Damned chirping birds," he seethed. He was having a horrendous ordeal ignoring the God-awful noises as they penetrated his ear canals.
