Trees. Valin Lobel hated trees. In fact, he hated trees now more than he hated anything else in the universe. He also now disliked giant monkeys with anger mangement problems. And energy beams, too.
He worked his way down after the battle concluded and Monkey Boy User - using the nickname now in every sense of the words - and Deity with Jade had left. At first Valin had spent considerable time trying to get down from the trees but he was still so beat up that he had decided just to sleep instead.
But now he was on the ground and standing in snow, a new layer of the white stuff falling from the sky this morning as well.
Valin suddenly felt a 'ping' in the Force, someone reaching out to him to touch his Force presence. This touch was full of the Dark Side and Valin knew it was none other than his former friend Felder Dai-Kalim... or Darth Rutum now. As soon as Valin sensed it, it was gone. The Sith was just checking up on him apparently.
Drawing his hood down, the Jedi stared up at the morning blue sky as snow fell on his face.
He needed to rest up and heal up. No matter how much Force he drew to speed up the healing of his wounds, it would still take time and he still had to not push himself. The knight slowly began walking away from Orion and to his home - but he decided to take his sweet time and appreciate the beauty of a snowfall...
