Blinking at the burning figure before she sighed furrowing her brow.

"Stop, drop and roll. Smother the flame....Oh forget it!"

Rapidly drawing a series of runes in atmosphere she rapidly produced a compact vacuum of air and snuffed the flames upon the figures cloak. Crouching before the smoldering mass she recognized the physique to be that of a man.

"Huh...oh...heh..heh...sorry about that Cornelius, I've been a bit on edge. When did you take a courier position? You should really work on improving your covert opts technique. Ability to sense mana signatures aside, you were making far to much noise."

Glaring up at her with a flustered expression as well as being slightly charred her subordinate sighed.

"Right...m'lady. You requested a report on that ruffian."

Producing a smolder enveloped he presented it to the mage.

"I would believe all is in order Madame."

Dusting himself off he rose to his feet.

"I shall be on my way now, I shall have to ask Master Malcus to not shirk his duties next time. This was not in my job description."

Sighing Epithany smiled sheepishly.

"Really sorry about all this....Uh how about a portal to the estate?"

Shaking his head heavily the man produced a slightly crispy scroll from his cloak.

"This shall do nicely..."

Within the next moment he had vanished from sight, leaving the mage standing alone in the clearing.

"Poor man..."

Shaking the soot off of the enveloped she had just aquired she shook it lightly as to make sure its contents was not destoryed in her her attack on the courier. Why Malcus was sending his butler to deliver his assignments she had no idea.

Shrugging she tucked the file into her coat pocket and heading back up the path toward the Orion. She had her inklings on what the file would divuldge. Apparently all of Dark Unk's activity had been spent training as well as visiting a library of all places. Despite this lack of activity she felt as though he was just biding his time and trying to lead them into a false sense of security.

This was probably what he wanted. With too much order there comes confusion and through confusion anarchy comes to life. Groaning she took another swig of her drink choking a bit on the liquid. Smacking her chest in an attempt to clear her throat sat down on the crisp forest floor.

She was starting to act a bit crazy. Sighing she slumped and stared into the pale hued heavens already starting to notice that the sunlight was beginning to wane.

"Dammit!"

::Unks was in the forest as well and he saw the random blaze go out as quickly as it appeared. He heard voices but couldn't make them out. He continued walking on the path and he heard Pith's voice when she said "damnit"

Unks made his way to where she was now laying down. He looked at the flask on her shoulder and then into his wifes eyes. He had a confused look on his face and he sighed softly::

"Are you ok love? What are you doing out here all alone?"

A figure long absent from the Orion scene floated easily in the air, passing over Unks and Epithany and landing on the clearing in front of the club itself. Caine paused before entering the building and looked up at the darkening sky, a slow smirk spreading across his face. Not long now.

With a soft laugh, he walked up the steps and pushed open the rightside door with the sole of his boot, his brown tail curling up around his waist. He was dressed rather lightly for a Canadian winter, in a black, form-fitting tanktop, and loose dark leather pants. He even had on a bew black bandana, one not torn and stained with years of blood.

The Saiya-jin warrior walked over to the bar and easily hopped over the counter in a single bound. He was in a very pleasent mood, and felt that a good drink was in order. Grabbing a fresh bottle of Jack Daniels in his hand, he hopped right back over the bar counter and sat down on a stool. With a quick twist the top was off and Caine was taking a slow, long pull from the bottle.

He pulled the bottle back and looked at it with a smirk. "Ah Jack, I've missed you since I've been gone....heh."

Grinning broadly at the comment of being drunk she tilted her head back and laughed heartily. Abruptly she stopped.

"Nope...I'm quite sober."

Passing him the bottle she grinned.

"If this was capable of making me drunk you would be a widower right now. What you see here is a hard cherry limeade concoted with a solution that immediately produces a reaction which counteracts the poisonous attributes of the vodka present in this drink. Thus it gives you the buzz without the chance hangover or retardation of motor skills."

Grinning she smiled once again.

"Alchemy at its best!"

Taking a deep breath she sighed.

"Such a break thru and yet I'm not happy."

Passing him the file she shrugged.

"Your "brother" Has been quite civil as of late. Its got me a bit nervous"

Accepting his hand she allowed herself to be pulled to her feet. Hugging his arm she rested her head on his shoulder.

"Indeed...I suppose I have. But I think I'm starting to border on paranoia these days. The courier tasted a bit of it actually."

Laughing sheepishly she sighed.

Glancing at her flask she grinned.

"You know, I could almost use some of the real stuff. The buzz from this is good and all but its lacking a little something something."

Kissing his cheek she pulled his arm.

"Lets head in its getting kind of cold out here."
