((*joins in with the busciut attack*))
Jade turned again slowly, her green eyes following his every move as he approached, holding her hot chocolate mug up to her lips. Normally she could be civil with anyone, even Taliman at points. But then again, Tali had never pointed a gun at her head and threatened to blow it off to get to someone else. The Demon lord had used other methods, but it was Angel's tactics that burned worse in her mind. And those memories were still very very fresh.
Letting her eyes look him over, and taking a moment to shake off the creepy feeling his uncanny resembalence to Deity gave her, she felt some was satisfied that he wasn't going to attack. For now. Her guard was still up though, her tail swinging uneasily over the back of the seat. He was fast, she remembered, but even he'd take some time to draw the guns. Even if she took a hit to the shoulder, she could get to Angel in a counter attack.
After making her emergency plan, Jade finally responded to the lad with a flat tone.
"I'll keep that in mind." She said over her cracked mug, taking another slow sip from it, but never taking her eyes from Angel as he stood only a few yards away.
".....So what did you want if you're not pointing guns this time...?"

::Though having said it jokingly, Jake meant what he said. As he did last time, he would undoubtedly take the oppurtunity when she was asleep - she's too fast and powerful for him to subdue without a fight. Sleeping gases generally only work on the big, stupid demons, not speedy Saiya-jin. Even when as tough as one can be, approaching a confrontation properly can determine an easy mission or a short life, and that no doubt rings true against a Super Saiya-jin.
That very thought running through his head, Angel abruptly stops two meters from Jade with a final dragging step, folding his fingers behind his head. He's not sure that he'd leave her unstartled if he lowered his hands, but is growing weary of holding them up. He rolls her question around in his head for a few seconds, puckering his lips casually in thought as he lets his dual-shaded eyes drift about the ceiling structure as usual.::
...I guess...well, I dunno.
::Pausing again, he brings his eyes back down, chips of melting ice beginning to drip from his brunette locks. He sighs softly before continuing his somewhat unprepared thought.::
If anything, I guess I came to say I realize th'mistake I made....I'm sorry, if that means anything.

Jade blinked. She was unsure if she had actually heard him say that. Did the demon hunter actually say...he was 'sorry'....?
He was sorry?! Sorry for hunting her boyfriend? Sorry for nearly killing him twice? Sorry for using her as bait to get Deity to come to her rescue and to blast his head off?! He was sorry!?
Even though her mind was raging with unseen anger and bitterness, the young womans countance was still, like a mask; solid, expressionless. After all that had happened, everything he'd done and put Deity through, much less herself, he had the nerve to just say 'I'm sorry'?
With a long sip in silence, Jade finished off her hot chocolate, with was more luke warm now. Then she stood, sliding off of the chair and brushing offher baggy black pants of some melted ice. They were soaked through, and she was cold and damp. Jade left the cracked mug on the table, deciding to take care of it later, if it was still salvagible.
The Super Saiya-jin stepped by Angel in silence, walking only a few inches from him as she passed. About three feet by him, Jade turned and lifted her right hand, her fingers formed to look like a gun, her eyes locked on the back of the demon hunters head. If he even flinched to move for his weapons, she'd be gone in a heartbeat.
She wanted him, even for a moment, just to feel as she had felt. Then her arm fell back to her side.
"Put your arms down already....."
Jade spun around on her heel and headed for the door in the elevator shaft. Pressing the button, she waited for the pod to lower. When the doors slid back to let her in, she paused.
"Go through what you put us through, and maybe it'll start to mean something."
And with that, the doors closed her off from him and the main room, rising up to the top floor for some much needed rest and time alone for now.

::The tall young man says nothing more to her, content with what he's stated as he stares forward, Jade letting the silence linger in the room. Though having quieted the beeping function of his mechanical eye, he can still pick up the changes in her system as she reacts to his words, her heartbeat quickening. She's clearly a little angry with him, despite his attempt to apologize. Yeah, it was a d**k thing to do - that's why he came to say he was sorry. He honestly didn't embark on this little journey with the expectation of a joyous response, no, but it is a little disheartening to see that an apology makes her angrier at him than the actual deed itself. Rather than lower his arms, Angellus doesn't budge an inch, continuing to look blankly forward as she passes by to her exit.
The Super Saiya-jin's words seem to strike a chord in him just as they leave her soft lips, his right eyelid spasming suddenly in a flinch. What an ironic thing to say to him. Of course, she couldn't know, thus the irony. Minutes seem to pass after Jade is gone, the slayer's hands finally falling from behind his head only to hang limply at his hips. His eyes glazing slightly, his face takes on a more somber expression, lips parting as his voice sounds in a broken tone.::
.....I have.
::Without another word to grace the silence, Angel turns about once more, connecting the two inner sides of his jacket and zipping it up shut. With firm, heavier steps, he carries himself to the front doors and yanks the left portal open, stepping once again into the frozen wilderness.::

[[ I love the Burning Crusade expansion for World of Warcraft.
And I love both of the new races, despite the little problems with lore/canon. ]]
Valin Lobel limped and stubbled into Club Orion. The walk was shorter than that to his ship. He had no means to contact the assassin droid HK-47 or the small, plugged-shaped droid R3-X2 Wrench - his comlink had been destroyed from the Force Lightning.
The Jedi attempted to grab hold to something but the curved walls of Orion left nothing for him to take hold of. As such, he hit the ground groaning and wheezing from exhaustion and physical pain. His wounds were many - several small, imbedded pebbles in his back, severe gashes to his upper right arm, his left knee, and a semi-deep stab into his gut - which he was pretty sure hit his liver. Equally, he could have swore one of his arms was out of socket. Probably had a concussion among other cuts, scrapes, and bruises. The Force Lightning had done a number on him - such high voltage caused bones to undergo calcification which resulted in fun things like dizziness, muscle spasms and weakness, blurred vision. The lightning litterally burned a person throughout their body and played havoc on the brain and heart - those organs that heavily used bioelectrics to function. Equally, it had more or less destroyed his prosthetic arm, a useless lump of metal at the moment that was still attached to the rest of his living tissue.
Luckily, none of his wounds were mortal but he did need medical attention and soon. Most of them could be treated easily enough with or without bacta or just a basic amount of medical knowhow. However, his wounds from the blasts of deadly lightning would only heal with rest.
The young man laid collasped on the ground, suddenly feeling like he was passing out. The room started spinning around him, going faster and faster. Valin did certainly passed out, laying on the floor at the entrance of Club Orion.

Such beauty. Such tranquility. Such peace.
That was the outside of the Orion, something that was not uncommon when one would traipse past the safety of the building. With the moon high over head, allowing its nocturnal light to flow downward upon anyone who would happen to be lingering beneath, it was a mesmerizing sight to behold. Reflecting off their wide eyes, the scene was more than just magnificent.
It was a memory in the mind of Miyuki.
With her form standing alone in the few inches of snow that covered the ground, the kitsune's head was turned towards the night sky, allowing her azure orbs to gaze longingly at that full moon that hung overhead. A delighted sigh escaped past her cherry lips as she finally looked away, the smile never wavering from her features as she began to step towards the entrance of the place she thought as her second home.
She had not been here that much recently, and for that, her heart ached. She had missed it greatly along with the many people that resided within its strong walls. Her long aquamarine hair danced in the wind as she thought of the last visit she had, the ball they had held for the new year. She had enjoyed herself despite the end of the evening, and it was because of that time that she remembered how much she enjoyed being here.
And as Miyuki clasped onto the doorknob and twisted, she couldn't help but sigh again. She also recalled the fact that she had barely known anyone at the ball, only recognizing a few people while the rest of the names had escaped her. She did know a few that frequented the Orion but mostly, she didn't have many that she could call her friends.
That thought alone almost caused her hand to retract and her body to turn away, but in the end, she took a shuddering breath and pushed it open, the warmth hitting her cold skin in a welcome manner. Kicking the snow off her shoes, she stepped inside and closed the door behind her, her last chance to escape and run away no longer possible unless she wanted to make herself look like an idiot and a coward.
With her head tilted to the side, her hair fell in front of her eyes, obscuring her vision or anyone else's if they wished to gaze at her face. The shy part of her was starting to peak through, and she couldn't help it at all. But instead, she would have to go through with it. After all, she had walked so far to get here that she may as well stay and enjoy herself.
With one hand coming slowly to rest on her stomach, she barely noticed she had made that motion. Ever since she had found out she was pregnant, Miyuki noticed faintly the few changes made within her body and the way she was treating herself. She was so protective of herself, in fear of injury that may do something to the life growing inside of her.
It was silly to be that way in here, for she knew she was safe. But that didn't make her draw her hand away until her eyes had moved upward, her lithe form still shivering from the bitter cold that had pierced at her skin earlier. However, something -or rather, someone- caught her attention when her gaze had drawn upward. Now noticing the limp form of a male on the floor, she let out a soft gasp before striding right over to where they lay.
In an instant, she was kneeling beside him, trying to roll him over on his back so that she could possibly see what was wrong. It was at this point that she recognized him, only faintly, as Valin, one she had met a few times but not too many to recall too much information about him. That didn't matter at the moment though, since she was already pressing her hand to his gut where she saw a lot of blood flowing freely. He was somewhat on his side, his back resting against her legs as she sat back on her heels. It was going to take a bit to get him healed up but she would do what she could.

The Jedi's eyes opened suddenly. He felt... funny. Well, not 'haha' funny but like something was happening and he didn't know what was going on at that very second. As he became more aware, he felt his body healing, wounds closing and his body being restored to a healthier state.
However, he was tired and sore and things hurt all over. His memory started flooding back to him...
The Sith! The Sith were alive! What in the Force's name was he doing here, resting!?
Valin tried to get up but realized suddenly that there was another person here, pressing there hand on his stomach - the source of this healing energy flowing into him. The knight looked up to see Miyu. He knew of her, but didn't really know her that well. He did know she was carrying an unborn child within her...
He attempted to say something, but all that came out was, "Ugg...th-thanks..."
Mr. Lobel attempted to move his left arm... but it didn't respond. The prosthetic arm had been destroyed and was about as useless as he was at this moment. Wonderful...

Instantly chiding him with a smile, Miyuki continued to press the energy into his body, a dark bluish color that seemed to emanate into his form from her fingertips. Rushing passed the healthy areas of his body, it would swirl around each wound before entering it and healing it slowly but surely.
The ones that healed the fastest were the ones on his back, but soon the others would follow. The one that was hardest was the gut wound he had, and even though she knew she wouldn't be able to heal it completely, she would at least stop the blood flow and get a layer of skin over it to stop it from reopening immediately.
Miyuki understood that this wasn't exactly the smartest thing to do. After all, she was with child and using her energy elsewhere wasn't going to help her own body any. However, her stubbornness and hate of seeing others fallen drove her to not worry about herself too much. Yes, she would be a bit weak after this but as long as she did nothing too strenuous, she would still prevail and be just fine.
Pressing her hand closer to him, she set out an extra burst of energy that seemed to temporarily numb his body, giving him at least a few moments' bliss of no outward pain he may have been feeling. Allowing her eyes to dart to his gaze, she gave another half-smile, watching him carefully before averting her gaze to the wounds.
"You need to be careful. You're lucky I showed up randomly as I did. Of all the days I chose to come visit, you decide to hurt yourself," she said with an amused tone, although it didn't seem to reach her features. The smile was gone and she was back to concentrating on the task at hand before her.
