The right door to the clubs main entrance opened slowly to the cold chill outside. A slender hand held the side of the frame to keep the door from bursting wide open and letting the snow and wind inside. Jade slipped inside and quickly closed the door behind her, shaking off the cold and snow from her bare shoulders.
The girl was back in her transformed state, back to training after taking only one night off. Her golden hair was spiked up even more than it should be, and frozen with ice crystals. Even the fur of her tail was frozen over, making it stiff and rather painful to move. Jade gave herself a rough shake similar to a dog, sending the ice flying mostly off of her and to scatter on the floor.
She shook out the snow from her heavy boots and black pants, which were frozen stiff at the bottom. A purple form-fitting tanktop was all she wore otherwise for warmth, tucked into her black pants. Besides some weighted armbands and gloves, and her gold locket resting around her neck, there was nothing else to Jade's outfit.
Rubbing her freezing shoulders, she hurried away from the doorway and across the room towards the kitchen, craving some heat and hot chocolate at the moment.

Even thought the temperature of the building itself was cooler than one would expect, it felt like summer compared to the Canadian winter outside. Jade stood in front of the stove, waiting for the kettle of water to finish heating up and to have her hot chocolate. After a few more minutes the water was done, and, still chilled, the girl poured the water into the waiting mug.
There was still water in the kettle when she finished pouring and put it back on the stove. Quickly giving the drink a stir, Jade lifted it to her lips and took light sips. While it was hot to warm her up, it was still too hot to drink quickly without getting burned.
Jade took her drink and blew over the top of it as she stepped out from the kitchen and over to one of the tables and chairs set up in the main room. At the moment she wished she had a blanket besides the hot cocoa.
"...Note to self.....be prepared when coming inside....."

<<::snughugdarts Miyu::>>
::The chilling howl of the winter wind fills the main room once again, one of the two huge front doors swiftly opening and closing to admit a tall brown-haired figure, dressed much as he was the previous night. Again wearing the thick brown leather jacket, which is now zipped right up to his neck, he curses harshly under his breath with a mention of how cold it outside - Gust, his homeland, isn't exactly known for its freezing temperatures. Stepping backwards, he raises his hands, covered by brown leather gloves, to brush his spiked hair free of ice, dropping his arms and leaning forward to do the same to his blue jeans. His boots are, somehow, free of any ice.
Standing straight and dropping his head back to stare at the top of the doorway, the demon slayer releases an exasperated sigh. Nothing ruins shooting practice faster than a surprise blizzard to freeze one's a** right off of their hips. As Angel starts to turn around, his detector picks up a lifeform of higher level across the room, just below six million. Quickly turning about to see, he finds no one - perhaps behind the elevator shaft? He steps to his left a few times, his body and neck leaning predominantly to the same side as he sidesteps. After four hevay thumps of his boots, he sees something rather surprising. A Super Saiya-jin.::
....whoa...
::Having seen hundreds - thousands of Saiya-jin as a bounty hunter, he has grown accustomed to dealing with them. Though overpowering him a hundred to one, he has never encountered one he could not best. However, he's never seen the Super Saiya-jin of legend. Charade knows that many of the Emperor's highest-ranking officers are Super Saiya-jin, but he has never infiltrated far enough into the Fortress to see them. This is his first time. The experience brings a bit of a nervous smirk to his face. If the rumors are true, a Super Saiya-jin is fifty times more powerful than a normal one, and can grow even more so with time.
Blinking a few times and righting his posture, Angellus takes the moment of silence to run a scan over the rather curvy young woman so as to add her to his records. It's when he does this, however, that a few beeps from his eye inform him that she's already been cataloged. Checking the data, he sees that this Super Saiya-jin is his former target's girlfriend, Jade. His blue eyes growing a little wider, he swallows hard before clearing his throat and speaking up, unsure how to approach her.::
Uhm...yeah, hey.
::Unsure of what else to say, he raises his right hand in a sheepish wave, using his left to unzip his jacket.::

Jade's ears twitched as she heard the holw of the wind loud and clear again when the door opened up. It sent a cold shiver up her spine even though she was quite a distance away from it. It was cold outside, and her body wasn't about to let her forget it. She didn't pay much attention to who came in, focusing more on her hot chocolate to warm up.
That is, until she heard the four thumps of boots hitting the floor, and a surprised voice.
She visibly stiffened at the sound, and slowly turned in her chair to lean out to the side and look around the elevator shaft. It only confirmed her suspiscions.
Jake Angellus Charade, also known as Angel, the demon hunter who was out to slay Deity.
Jade sat up normally again, gripping her mug tightly. Not only had he been hunting down her boyfriend, but he also used her to get to him not only on Orion, but here at her home! It was only a strong will and the urge not to have the place get messed up that kept her from just running over and pounding the hell out of him.
It was then she realized that the ceramic was starting to crack, her fingers loosening their grasp. Lifting the mug up slightly, the girl let out a sigh. It was only the handle cracking and not the mug itself. Otherwise, her hot chocolate rould have been everywhere, and that would have made this night worse. She took a slow sip of the still hot liquid just to calm down a little and avoid the urge to walk over and punch Angel through a wall.
After a moment, she spoke, her normally musical voice cold.
"Deity isn't here if you're looking for him. Unless you plan on trying to take me hostage again."
She paused a moment. "Though, I don't think you'll catch me that easily again."
She was bitter. And with good reason.

<<::attacks Gabe with biscuits::>>
::That one stung, just a little. Not that he doesn't deserve such a greeting, seeing as he shot her boyfriend in the face in an attempt to kill him. I suppose she has a right to hate me, he thinks to himself, eyelids narrowing again as he looks at her. Strange how her golden hair makes her that much harder to recognize. While picking a fight with a Super Saiya-jin wouldn't exactly be the best of ideas anyway, he didn't come here for that. Unzipping his jacket to show the black sweater underneath, he raises both palms to the air as he starts on his way over to her.::
No, no...I've been lookin' for ya', but not t'take ya' hostage.
::Angel glances around a few times with his eyes only, his lifted jacket revealing his primary arms - two handguns situated at either side of his chest via shoulder holsters. Even a Super Saiya-jin would know not to take Angel lightly when they're drawn, but his 'I surrender' posture is in hopes of convincing her that she has no need to feel so apprehensive. In a failed attempt at lightening the mood, he lets out a soft laugh and cracks a joke when some twenty feet away.::
...heh...then again, if I'd wanted you as a hostage, I'd wait until you were asleep again.
