"You've spent millenia praying? How did your body not age, not rot and wither away? What blessing gives you eternal youth?" Her questions flowed out faster than she could take answers in. His name and his eyes complemented each other, and apparently he wasn't even speaking in his native tongue. The Goddess, Vac, had given him perfect fluency in any language apparently. She wanted to test this theory, but only knew one other language and he might very well coincidentally know it so there was no proving it now. If he wasn't lying though, it would seem that this man knew Hindi, English, and Japanese to the least.
It took him thousands of years to gain such a presence. He spent all of this time praying. There was no way she would be able to do that. She couldn't go away for that long. She felt disappointed that something that might have given her a sharp boost toward her goal was out of reach. She only cared though insomuch as she wanted KenoTao dead the next day. She'd have to wait a bit longer it seemed.
"What other blessings have they given you?"

Why are you all calling him a boy? He's big, lean, and looks in his mid thirties. How can anybody get "boy" from that?

Damion cast an annoied glance back at Guardion from over his shoulder. His arrogant grin was gone, replaced with the look one would give a very small, petulant child.
"You talk too much."
He was tired and no longer in the mood to deal with interlopers. And Guardian, as of one hundred thirteen words ago, had lost what respect he had earned from Damion by standing up in the first place. At some point, just as the vigilante had said, words become feathers on a frog. They have no meaning and serve no purpose other than to distract one from the deeper meaning.
Damion then looked away and waved his hand vaguely in the air, as if brushing off anything else Guardian had to say.
Instead he walked over to Miyuki. Stopping quietly behind her he rests his hands, still shakey form the surge of emotion, on her shoulders, hoping to calm her. Smiling down at her he knelt until his face was nearly between her ears and. He then speaks in a low, soothing tone, using her native tongue of Japanese.
"We are leaving."
Despite what he said his words were more a reassurance that they would soon be leaving a place of bad memmories rather than a demand for her to come with him.

Feeling Keno's gentle embrace, she merely nods as she moves with him, stepping towards the dance floor as her eyes seem to dry up a bit more. She was much calmer than she had been minutes earlier, and as she glanced back at where McKlain was before turning to look at Keno.
"Yeah... Dance... Good idea," she mumbled lightly, watching as they stopped so that she could lean into him before they began the slow dance. It was so relaxing, so calming, and everything she seemed to need at the moment.
"Thanks," she said rather quietly, a smile on her face as they moved gently to the song that played around them. However, she was quickly drawn away by the soothing voice she could hear right next to her, and as she realizes there are hands on her shoulders, she lets out a soft yawn before glancing upward at McKlain.
"I'm tired... Yeah, let's go," she responded gently, the fear she had felt earlier having seemingly disappeared with his reassuring words of departure.
She couldn't blame him for his reaction. No one reacted well to being told they were suddenly going to be a parent. And so, she could forgive him for this.
With an apologetic look to Keno, she could only smile at him faintly before she pulled away from her dancing partner.
"Good night, Keno-kun. I'll see you soon I hope."

His dance cut short, Keno stepped back and let her return to Damion, reluctant as he was to do so. He'd have felt a lot better if she were smiling again at least or had stayed with him in the lounge this one night. He really was starting to look at her the same way he looked at Jade. Jade never had these troubles though. He was thankful for that.
Choosing to part with the two in their own tongue he bowed to Miyuki and nodded to McKlain. He let his eyes meet for a moment, just long enough to say 'should any harm come to her, you will die.' His eyes were coldest when he said this, though the threat only reached as far as the person he was giving them to had ill intentions. Anyone who wanted to be sure of that could ask Deity, who took a gut wrenching blow from him when he regained his consciousness.
"Have a good night you two. Take care of each other...and congratulations."

((Gray, sorry I didn't see your post. Soneko's calling him a boy because Soneko, himself is 2035. Sorry for the confusion. ^_^;;
And, Ichi, either way, Soneko doesn't hit on people that he doesn't know. Especially now that he can't get out of his Sinner form, he can hardly joke around.))
Soneko snickered to himself as the man who had told him to "run along" was doing just that, and Soneko was still standing in the same place. He gave himself a smirk, then turned on his heel away from the coward, and headed over to his earlier stool and popped a squat.
