::Unks followed Keno as he walked over to Miyuki. Unks knew Miyuki but only slightly, but it was still nice to see her. He didn't know if Epithany was going to be joining the party. He hasn't seen her all day. He then saw Red as me moved torwards Miyuki.
"Miyuki it is good to see you! Happy New Year!"
Unks then turned around and noticed the hole appear and then disappear after dropping someone off. Unks didn't know who this person was, he has never met him before. He didn't care though the more the merrier::

Quietly at the door she stood, eyeing KenoTao with calm distaste, but reassurance. Today she would be respectful, the oath stuck on repeat in her mind. Another kitsune had beaten her to the club and seemed to go by the name 'Miyu.' She looked rather lovely, her blue hair a sharp contrast to Red's. She was a bit nervous, though she'd never admit it. She culd dress formally, but it was not often that she would attend a formal event. She straightened her long red dress which hung from her neck to her ankles. Her back was bare, but her hair hid the fact, but that was okay because there was enough fair, exposed flesh on her arms to make up for it.
Her steps came slowly, her heeled feet approaching the bar cautiously. Her hips swayed like a pendulum, so rhythmic and soft, but her tail instead flicked with each step. She was graceful but dangerous and nothing she did could ever hide that so long as her waist said one thing and her tail said another.
Softly she placed herself atop a barstool, her eyes fixing on the party calmly enough. Still silent though, she debated speaking.

Valin Lobel entered through the main door. He had been waiting for a big, fun party like this for quite some time. True to his people's nature - he really loved to goto parties with a ton of friends.
Tonight Valin was not wearing his Jedi robes, opting instead to wear his Galactic Alliance dress uniform. The uniform consisted of a long-sleeved white wrap-around shirt that produced a v-neck that reached to the waist line. On the left side of the v-neck line was a red sash that reached to waist on the front and back. Sitting on the red sash at breast level was a gold plate with three red dots and the writing 'Commander of the Galactic Alliance Defense Fleet.' Under the white wrap-around was a black shirt with a turtle-neck like collar. A white cloth sash kept the wrap-around firmly together - though Valin decided to bring a black fake-leather belt with his lightsaber, as well. Finally, he wore sharp black dress pants and perfectly polished black boots.
On his right breast he wore a colorful collection of medals and decorations. Most of them were simple ones about the various campaigns and battles he took part in. Some were about valor or bravery. Another two were for injuries substained in battle. Valin didn't really care about the rewards and decorations that much. He - like every other member of the New Republic & Galactic Alliance military - was just doing what they had to do so save their galaxy.
It had been a long time since he wore his dress uniform and it kinda felt good that he was doing so. Yes, perhaps it was pride, but not pride of himself but pride of being a representative of his people from his part of the universe.
"So! I heard this planet has started on a new year! Happy New Year, everyone!" The Jedi shouted cheerily as he entered into Club Orion.

With her large kitsune ears twitching greatly, Miyuki turned her head faintly to see that Keno was making his way over to her. Without a moment's hesitation, she was sliding off the barstool and making her way over to him, her small arms wrapping around his waist in a friendly hug. "Keno-kun, it's been awhile! I'm glad I got the invite for tonight!" she said with a noticeable purr, her eyes lighting up happily before she glanced towards Unks.
Her lips parted in a wide smile, her teeth glinting a bit from the lights. "Hello, and Happy New Years to you as well!" she chirrupped happily, pulling away from Keno after the embrace was shared.
"I am excited for tonight, I know it's going to be good!" she said conversationally to the both of them, her hands lifting up to rest at the back of her head as she grinned. "A friend of mine may be stopping by soon, you know him already, Keno."

<<::hits Sone:: Nuu! Nuu wall of text!! ::hits Sone:: Nuu!!>>
::The elevator chamber makes another hasty run up through the six hundred-foot tower to pick up its next passengers, reaching the twentieth floor. It stays for a few seconds before whirring back into action, flying back down to the lowest level and opening the doors. Out steps the architect of the building itself, at his side his girlfriend, the Saiya-jin girl Jade. Standing to her side, his right hand is clasped gently around her left, palm to hers, his silver claddagh ring facing forward.
Wearing his large-brimmed hat, his long black hair cascades down the nape of his neck, his eyes hidden - as always - by his red band and eyeglasses. Around his neck are both his silver locket and his jade pendant, the former of which tucked under his unbuttoned shirt collar. The soft red top - underneath which can be seen a thin black tanktop - is buttoned at his wrists and tucked into his black jeans, the waistband of held secure onto him by his belt. Knowing his preference for clothes that don't fit, his pants wouldn't likely stay on with that belt. With the bottommost hems of his jeans folding and wrinkling over his zip-up black leather boots, the quiet Orinian exits the elevator to survey the room.
Deity blinks a few times at the sudden change in appearance of his entrance room - the tables and chairs have vanished. He feels less worried as his stunned face would denote, figuring they were likely moved out of the way by someone. Likely Keno, seeing as he's already settled into the room nearby. The tall Tonepian waves at the tiger with a shrug and a grin, nodding to Soneko as well. Haven't seen him in a while. Anyway, the tables won't be missed even if they were stolen - they aren't expensive.
Once clearing the elevator by a few more feet, Deity stops, loosening his grip on his lover's hand as he does. Staying silent, he raises his left index and middle fingers together to his forehead, passing a smiling glance to all others present. It's heartening to see a gathering at his home that doesn't start in violence.::

He took a step back to give Miyu some breathing space as she spoke, taking in the many different voices as best he could. With a nod to Valin he returned his wishes for the new year and returned his attention to the lovely lady with him.
"I know him do I? Well that could only be one person now couldn't it?" It wasn't too difficult to narrow down the possibilities present. Keno only knew about two or three guys that knew Miyu and did not come to Orion regularly. Of them, only one seemed to have any consistent presence in the Deception. He was sure a certain gunslinger would be arriving later in the evening without a doubt.
He gestured everyone to take a seat for the time being. There were plenty of guys it seemed, but only two girls. He'd be tense were it not for the fact that he knew most of these people, save the one that had entered through a portal. He was a familiar person though so all was well.
Then came in a prize couple to behold. Deity and Jade had entered and quite to his delight. Any chance to see those two outside of a training session was enjoyable. Very rarely did he see them otherwise these days, but that was mostly his own fault for not being around as much. He'd have to make up for lost time with Jade as much as possible before night's end.

((Sorry, Deity. I'll clean that up.))
Soneko heard a few people come over. One of whom was speaking to somebody named Miyu. Another voice was soon after greeting a longer version of the name just mentioned. Soneko looked to his left out of the corner of his eye, outside of the glasses that he wore. The glasses weren't perscription. He didn't even know why he had them. He noticed a blue haired girl sitting on a stool on his left. He hadn't noticed the girl. Wouldn't have mattered anyway, because he didn't know her. He shook his head, allowing a few strands of hair to fall over his left eye. He tilted his head up, his visible lens becoming white from the glare. He hadn't even been here ten minutes and he was already growing impatient.
A familiar scent came from the Orion's entrance. It was that man who he had almost torn to peices awhile back. The one rambling on and on about how the use of dark power would corrupt somebody. His false knowledge was what had set Soneko off. Soneko's situation had nothing to do with the fact that he used darkness to help him. It was because he had not only his own demon blood to worry about, but a blodd thirsty soul inside of him, and another, smaller demonic presence. Not to mention an angel as well. He was quite the mutt. Darkness would not corrupt everybody. Just the fools who took on the power without fully understanding it would succumb to the temptations. He had an urge to get up and attack the man who called himself, if memory served, a Jedi. And that was not his cursed arm wanting it, either.
He had let his arm do what it wanted before leaving here, so it would stay under control. His left arm was home to a rabbid demon and he could not control it from time to time. If the arm did not have it's freedom every so often, he would lose control of it and it would attack anything in sight other than it's host. He decided he would behave tonight, though.

::Unks returned Miyu's comment with a smile and then he nodded to Valin wishing him a happy new years as well. He then saw Deity and Jade come out of the elevator. It had been a while since he has seen Deity. Not wanting to crowd him and his date Unks went to the bar and sat down. He saw Red and smiled at her::
"Happy New Years Red. You look very nice tonight."

She nodded to Unks before rising from her seat, relieved to see Valin. She hadn't yet crossed with him since her return, which would be short lived as it was. She made straight for him so as to keep anyone from distracting him from her. She wanted...no she needed company and in a way, Keno was more popular in this place than she was. She felt like an outcast, even despite her civility. She didn't know how to talk to these people.
"Happy New Years to you as well Valin. I hope you've been in good health recently?" She inquired quite sincerely, but the bitterness she still held made everything sound formal, business-like, even rehearsed sometimes. Hopefully he was one of the guys used to that by now. If not she wouldn't care. They were the ones who would have to get used to it.
"I've never seen this outfit of yours before, but it resembles Earthen military Class A formal suits. I take it this is your military attire?"

Miyuki could only grin sheepishly before scratching the back of her head. "Hehe, I figured you'd know who I was expecting," she said with a smile, her hand dropping faintly to her side before she glanced over to see a few more occupants in the room. The two that caught her eye, however, were Jade and Deity. Smiling serenely at them and offering a polite wave, she returned her attention back to Keno.
"I've been a bit under the weather just recently, so I was worried about how I would be when I got here. I don't want to get sick in the middle of the ball," she whined gently, her nose twitching greatly before she linked her fingers together behind her, arms straight out as she yawned.
Her gaze seemed to flicker across the room, taking in everyone that she could see and studying them all. She saw another kitsune, a very pretty one at that, talking with someone she had only met once or twice although it had been a long time ago.
Her tail fell back from her waist. Oh yes, it had been awhile since she'd been here, so she wouldn't doubt it if a few forgot who she was.

McKlain was reluctant to come at first. Deus ex machina could solve his transportation problems well enough, so he didn't have to worry about his vehicle breaking down or even about being late. No, he just didn't like Canada.
But she had asked him. Try as he might, he could not get past her cute plea, or how she looked in her dress. Or the way she flicked her ear as she spoke. Or the fact taht he was a sucker, no matter how badass he acted. He only wondered how Calore got out of coming with her.
So here he was. Just for a moment he wished he had brought a very thick jacket with him. As it was, sense she said it was "informal," he was dressed in his good clothes.
McKlain was dressed in a custom-taylored suit made of a coal gray material that similar in feel to what you would find on a big-name business guy. The material itself was made on an entierly different, ah, time zone and was just beyond anything that could be produced with current-day technology.
The jacket and pants matched well with his salt&pepper hair, and he wore a sturdy white button up shirt underneath. The entire thing was easy and comfortable to wear without limiting range of movement at all. Plus a decent number of weapons could be stashed in the various pockets and it even went well with his combat boots. To soothe his paranoid mind the inside of the coat had been lined with enough kevlar to stop 9mm rounds.
Wanting to be modest, however, McKlain was only packing a combat knife and his boot knife, both hidden, and a USP-45 on the right side of his belt but nearly behind his back so it could be hidden by his coat. No tie - he didn't even know how to tie one - and no smell-good sprays.
It felt odd wearing it. Although it was very comfortable, he was used to military grade equipment. And he always felt odd at parties. Tended to stick out easily. Just like a target.
McKlain slipped into the main room with a grimace on his face. He knew only a few of the people who would be attending this ball tonight, but he saw none of them as of yet. He also knew that Miyuki was here, but he did not know exactally where she was. His first instinct was to turn right around and leave, and his second one was to find a place to keep his back against so he could watch the crowed. What he did not feel like doing was venturing too far inside.
So, paranoid as he was, he slipped to his left and kept his back toward the wall, staying withen fourty meters of the door and glancing around self-conciously.

The young woman accompaning Deity looked different that her normal appearance. Instead of her normal raven colored hair sticking up in places, it was a brilliant blonde, sticking up in every direction. She wasn't dressed too formally, but she looked neat. A red, wide-strapped tanktop and black leather mini-skirt, black stockings and short black heels. She had on glasses much like Deity's, but mostly for asthetic purposes than to hide her eyes. And she wore three pieces of jewlery: Her gold locket resting lightly upon her chest, a jade bracelet adorning her left wrist and a simple gold band on her left middle finger as she held Deity's hand.
There seemed to be a lot of people already there ahead of the couple as they exited together, Jade noticing that the tables and chairs had been moved out of the room. Probably for the best if more were to arrive.
There were so many people already! But one of the first Jade spotted and recognized was Keno amoungst teh crowd and gathered near Miyuki. She gave a slight wave with her right hand to everyone, glancing up a Deity to see if he would head off on his own or what.

The Saiya-jin Prince was next to enter Orion. He appeared right by the bar, just teleporting in rather than using the door. User wore black slacks with a black long sleeved button-up shirt with a red symbol of the former Saiya-jin empire embrodied on it. He finished the look with black shoes, a black belt, and had rolled up the sleeves somewhat.
His daughter Sabrina sat on his shoulders, wearing a nice pair of black dress pants and a nice button-up pink shirt with a floral design - quite obviously something had picked out on her own.
The Saiya-jin made his way to KenoTao.

"I'm sure you'll be fine tonight," he answered with a smile as he scratched the back of her left ear. "Half of the recovery process is optimism and happiness. As long as nothing upsets you and you keep your mind clear of stressful things, you'll be fine." That infectious smile was growing again as he scanned the room yet again. McKlain had come in a moment before this and he knew it, felt it like everyone else in the room.
"Well it appears that date you were speaking of is rather self conscious. How about you go make him feel at home for now okay? Promise me a dance later?" He practically pushed her to go to McKlain before the poor guy left out of boredom if nothing else. Everyone would need a dancing partner, and everyone needed comfort. That's why it was wise to bring a date just in case. Still though, he wished Calore would have come. He'd have loved to see her in a dress.
"Well then," he spoke out to no one in particular, "I suppose we had better at least get some music started and some drinks flowing. Unks you know anything about mixing?" He waved to Jade and her beau happily before engaging User and Sabrina.
"I'm sure you have a bone to pick with me, but do me a favor and keep Red company tonight. It's bad enough she's in enemy territory you know? She could use an ally. We'll talk later." Formal as always with his rival he nodded at the cute little Sabrina and ruffled the top of her head. Such a pretty girl she was. He was glad User hadn't tried brainwashing her against him.
