The elevator shaft stopped at ground level, the pod opening to let Keno out. He had returned without Ichi for some reason. She'd likely be down later if she was in the mood. If not, then he'd catch up with her later. Damn how he wanted her around still though. He was happily full and in want of nothing in particular. The new clothing felt a bit odd to him still. It wasn't that he felt unable to fight in him, they were just different was all, like most of the things Ichi had bought for him that day. He'd get more comfortable a bit later.
He returned to the bar where Ichi's magazine and drink were still sitting. His right hand floated over the counter slowly, taking hold of one end of the magazine and closing it before sending it off like a wisp of smoke. He finished the drink off and threw the container away before taking a seat and glancing around. Still quiet he noticed. Such a shame. Where had everyone gone in this age? He wondered sometimes what might become of the place before too long. Everything went back to stories. Everyone had one and most were closing or in that unenjoyable middle stage that no one liked to read through. What a relief it would be when the epic finally ended. At least he thought so. It was about time for a change anyway.

Only a few moments, later, the elevator began to rise up to Ichi's room again. Ichi stepped into the opening doors as it arrived in her room. She adjusted her new, clean outfit which consisted of a pink and white polka-dotted Cami, ripped jeans, pink and white flats, stunning pearl jewelry, an iPod, and her pigtails while she was in the elevator. As she arrived at the ground floor, the doors opened, and she headed in Keno's direction, her hands moving up to her hips. "What do you want to do now?"

The night was cold, her very breath appearing in plume of steam the instant they left her lungs. Jade sat off to the sides of the steps of the Club outside, the snow melted in about a 3 foot area around her. She was bundled up in green scarf, a large, leather hat and a heavy white winter coat. heavy jeans and thick boots,
The young woman kept glancing up towards the woods in the distance, smiling slightly as she held a fresh page of her sketch book open in front of her. It was a bit cold ot be trying to draw, but gloves were a wonderful invention.
The distant sound of banches snapping kept the cold from making her sleepy, smiling as she waited for him to finish.

"Actually I have no idea what I want to do," Keno answered in an off-handed fashion, his eyes turning to the door. How curious that he didn't catch on that sooner. Slowly he rose and approached Ichi, wrapping his arms around her slender waist and planting another soft kiss on her forehead before rubbing it with his nose. "Stay close to me love."
Without reason he took hold of her left hand in his right and began walking toward the entrance/exit of the Orion. He knew how cold it got out here, so took the careful precaution of of keeping Ichi as close to him as possible so that he could maintain a warm air current around her form. He'd rather her not run all the way back upstairs for a coat or anything.
He opened the door slowly and saw Jade, just as he knew he would. She seemed to be drawing the Darkwood, and likely was anticipating a certain someone of her own. He remembered the boy was enduring p.t. the old fashioned way the other day. He was still recovering. How low they could fall. It never occurred to him before.
"How's he doing?" he asked in the familiar unfeeling yet caring older brother tone he often took up when being serious with Jade. He didn't want to surprise her, but it wasn't likely that his presence would ever catch her off guard.

Ichi left her arms in front of her, the cold, winter air, surprisingly did not affect her, thanks to Keno. She walked with him him, looking at Jade. Ichi did not know what was going on, she she decided to stay quiet during this event. She was just going to wait in curiosity to see what was happening since she wanted to know who the "he" that Keno mentioned was.

::The Western horizon glows a subtle red, quickly turning to orange and becoming a dark purple by the time one's eyes reach the East. In the distance, somewhere within the woods, an aura can be felt as it travels amongst the trees roughly a mile from the Orion Tower. The occasional sound of a branch breaking apart after an impact breaks the calm, the dimly-lit treetops rattling occasionally when stricken. The only other sounds are those of birds and the rare breeze, this evening being a rather still one. No snow is falling, though any animals within the forest wouldn't know any better, the ice being kicked off of the tree branches at every oppurtunity.
Leaping and dashing through the wildlife is Deity, partaking of his oldest and most enjoyed method of training. He wears a very worn pair of black jeans, the hems at his feet in tatters, and a white tanktop, his hands and feet bound with black tape. His locket, jade pendant, glasses, and headband are of course present, his claddagh ring also visible this time around. His nigh bare feet kicking snow in every direction as he sprints through it, he seems to leave no log un-hopped-over, no branch un-swung-from. His legs carrying him through the woods at over three hundred miles per hour, his heart races just as fast; the boy is really pushing himself to try and recover as quickly as possible.
He knows, deep down, that his own health isn't the entire reason for his rehabilitation. It's also for survival. Deity knows he's coming, and he knows he wants a fight. The Orinian has no true need to hurry, but he has plenty of need to grow stronger in what time he has left.::

Jade didn't look up from her drawing, focusing on the play of light versus shadow cast from the trees and the moon above. She still answered though as if she were looking straight at Keno, and Ichi with him.
"Much better than he has been. He's regained his motor skills, but he lost a lot of his strength from lack of constant training and the time he was unconscious."
She sighed a little as her pencil paused on the paper, looking out into the woods. He wasn't in sight yet, but her ears twitched slightly as she picked up the sounds of branches breaking, and snow falling in piles from tree branches. Still, her eyes followed the treeline where she could feel his aura.
"Still....I can't even train with him right now...without fear of injuring him badly....He's got a lot of ground to make up Nii-chan."
Seriousness over for the moment, Jade finally turned around with a smile upon her face as she looked at her sibling and his girl together.
"And I'm glad to see you too Ichi, everything well I take it...?"

Ichi frowned, her ears folding back, wanting to know who this mysterious person who was training and injured was. She clung to Keno's arm, warm, even in her lack of clothing in the wintertime. Her frown turned to a smile when Jade spoke to her. She nodded in response, "It's all good." She looked up at Keno as she spoke, hugging his arm closer and tighter.

Keno merely took in Jade's words as he looked out into the forest. He could feel Deity too now. He could practically see him mentally. Every step, or maybe jump was a better word. Every time he went up and came back down. He could practically hear it. At least he was getting up there. He was bothered though that Jade had said she was afraid to injure him in training. Normally that would be beneficial to a fighter, but in his present condition such might only hinder his recovery. Keno had never lost motor skills or been incapacitated long enough to lose strength. He wondered what was running through the wolf's head right about now besides the desire to regain his power.
Keno sometimes envied Deity. The boy had a lot of people who wanted him dead. His life was always interesting as a result. At the same time, Keno could rest peacefully at night, something he was sure most people would never want to trade away in this lifetime. He sometimes questioned tough why he needed to be as strong as he was. What did he use the power for? He could very well have lost to User years ago and still be just as alive and active, but substantially weaker. He sighed as this ran through his mind. He envied his friend, but only insomuch as he didn't.
He wouldn't switch places even for one day of excitement. He felt Ichi next to him, drawing back to reality. He forgot she wasn't acute to sensing ki and was probably further out of the loop than he was. "Deity." he said to her calmly, to answer that look of curiosity he caught in her eyes. He felt it would be too much to go into why their old friend was in that state, but as a friend, she did have a right to know he was not in the best of health.

She looked up at Keno as he spoke of their friend's name. "Deity?" Her voice quiet, concerned. Ichi looked down at the floor. She didn't even know what happened, she never knows of anything that happens anymore. She needs to get out more. She decided not to say anything else, to just let Keno and Jade unravel things for her.
