Of course, this was to be expected, but now the Gallade would need some time try and decide which game to start with and what strategy to use. This would... take some time. Unfortunately, time was something he didn't have-- or at least not an abundance of. So, whatever he decided to play he'd have to do so quickly.

Eventually Tybalt decided to try his luck at the bean bag toss, it was a simple enough game with instructions even one of Huey's younger siblings could understand. With ease the Gallade was able to sink all three bags into their holes, the sound of the bag hitting the wood making a satisfying thunk each time they landed. Rather pleased with himself Tybalt waited for his tickets to come out, as they had during Tanabata, only to blink when he was handed tokens instead. He recovered quickly, thankfully, and took the tokens before moving off to the next game.

Scarlett was a bit relieved by how quickly Riley's attitude had turned around. Such a young mind, so easily manipulated, so easy to mold.... Scarlett forced a genuine looking smile to hide the smirk that her expression so badly wanted to make. She also noted how Riley willingly picked Asriel up and cuddled him. With the way she interacted with him, one might have thought the charmander was hers, if she didn't verbally greet the charmander like a new pokemon. Then Cerbera and Huey both claimed that the charmander wasn't theirs, and even Zak was eying the colorful pokemon with greed that suggested it wasn't his, so that still left her question unanswered; whose was it? As Scarlett looked around though, she first noticed the fact that Zinzolin was gone without a trace, and lightly blamed the children for distracting her, in a way that was scolding and held them accountable without being too harsh and making them resent her for it. With their accountability agreed upon, Scarlett had no problem putting them to the task of finding Zinzolin again.
The question was however, if Scarlett should go with them or not. Unsurprisingly, Riley immediately insisted that Scarlett should come with them, though her reasoning was clearly not for just making sure they found Zinzolin, given how much she struggled for a legitimate reason other than to spend time with her "mother figure". Still, the others seemed to agree, even if Huey seemed hesitant at first. Cebera even went as far as to suggest that they could actually capture Zinzolin on their own, but she also somewhat implied that for Riley's sake, it would be nice for Scarlett to come along. Scarlett supposed she wouldn't mind getting to know her future crew better, and she wasn't really too worried about cutting her date with Zak a bit short, considering that they already had plans to meet at Castelia later.
As Cerberra struggled to call her something, Scarlett chuckled and gave her a bit of direction. "Fortune. Call me Miss Fortune, or if you'd like, you can call me--" Scarlett was cut off as Zak interrupted, revealing her real name. Every part of Scarlett screeched to a halt and tensed. How the hell, did he know her name? More importantly, for how long, and why did he decide to casually mention it here in public? What, was he pissed at her for some reason? He looked more amused than anything else. Scarlett's eyes narrowed at the russian, her head tilting slightly in a short, sharp, aggressive motion. "Aha. You're funny, but actually I was going to suggest "Captain"." She said cooly, though her fury seeped through her words in a hiss as she finished her sentence. He was going to pay for that, she would make sure of it. Inhaling, Scarlett's expression brightened again as she looked over her little crew. "Alright then, let's get movin' b'fare Zinzolin gets an even bigger lead on us than he already has." She insisted, ushering the children quickly towards the main entrance to begin their search, but as soon as they were out of Zak's earshot, she looked to the children for a moment. "An' jus' far the sake of clarity, I don't wanna hear any of you callin' me by that name. He was just bein' a brat by suggestin' it because knows how much I hate it." Scarlett insisted bitterly.

Moving carefully amongst the games Tybalt made certain to entertain himself with the, small, variety the fair had to offer. Though, in his opinion, they weren't as interesting as the one back on the islands he still enjoyed them immensely, the crossbow game especially. He'd never held a crossbow in his life before, but the feeling of pulling back the string and watching as the arrows flew through the air and hit the various targets was enough to make him an instant fan.

Much to Tybalt's delighted surprise he found himself with better luck at these games, which only helped to elevate his mood. Maybe it was his new form, maybe these hands-on games were what he truly excelled out? Either way, the Gallade soon found himself with a small satchel to carry the tokens he received, his winnings quickly growing to the point where he was unable to simply hold them by hand. Wouldn't Huey be surprised! From what he could tell there wasn't a 'Golden Magikarp' like game, a game with such low chances of winning but a massive amount of reward, here, but if he worked hard enough he could get his trainer enough tokens to get something.

There were many differences between these games and the ones from last year, but the most enjoyable one, at least in his opinion, were the races. Tybalt strode quietly to observe the Rapidash races, eyes following the movement of the fire horses as they ran across the tracks. Their thundering hoof prints filled the air, though was nearly drowned out by the ecstatic cheers of those who watched. Though it was noisy, almost dizzying so, Tybalt couldn't help but to get caught up in the sheer excitement that was abuzz and quickly joined in, putting a bet on the first horse his eyes laid on. It was exciting to be sure! The anticipation and unknown of what was to come, but when the last horse cleared the finish line Tybalt found that his bet had come in second place, neck-and-neck with the winner. They'd been close! Nowhere near being disappointed in the results, Tybalt took his winnings before he moved on.

Darren nodded lightly as Sable suggested that she could manage just moving to another spot. "Well at least now we can afford to take it slow. Perhaps we should start making our way to the train station again, in increments. It'd getting late anyways, and I doubt after these attacks, the fair will be staying open much longer, so we can get you to a pokemon center for some proper rest..." Darren suggested. On that note, he inquired about her head, checking in. Sable insisted that it was better, and that she would ask for an aspirin, but it probably wasn't a good idea with this kind of headache. "Well, I'm not sure ye olde pharmacy will be carrying aspirin around anyways." He suggested jokingly, standing along with Sable and holding out his arms to catch her or for her to use as support whenever she wobbled.
After she was situated, Darren started making his way over to Gavyn and Evan, helping Sable along with Jin's assistance. "Hey guys, you both alright....? Do you need to find a healing station, or are your pokemon doing alright?" He asked, concerned. He hoped that their pokemon had made it out alright, since he had seen them fighting and getting attacked. Not to mention Gavyn had fainted in the beginning of the battle. All seemed well, and moods seemed pretty light. If the air had felt heavier, Darren would be more worried, but he didn't have that feeling thankfully.
With plasma retreating along with Zinzolin, Hercules and Zephyr had their work cut out for them, and made their way back to Darren, who acknowledged them both with a smile. "Ah, great job you two.... Helping keep those grunts at bay really saved our skin!" He praised, patting Hercules' head and attempting to stroke Zephyr's beak, but the ornery bird squawked and reared his head back, away from Darren's hand before pecking it away. "Ack... Right, you're not so touchy feely...." Darren mumbled after recoiling his hand in pain. Honestly, he couldn't blame the bird, given how many hands had probably tried to hold him down and restrain him, or prod him with needles that injected him with chemicals that burned his insides.... Zephyr leered at the brunette and cocked his head to one side, as if silently asking Darren if he wanted to try and touch him again. "No, no, it's fine." Darren held his hands up in surrender. He wasn't an idiot.

After a few more rounds Tybalt forced himself to stop, his attention returning back to the small group his trainer was in. It seemed as if they were moving now, which meant his time here was finished. On his way back to his trainer Tybalt paused briefly when the intercom crackled to life and a stuttering voice, clearly a bit frazzled, began to list off the winning numbers for the next lotto. The Gallade tilted his head to the side curiously, putting the numbers to memory, before he started his stride back up. It could be assumed that the announcer had been a bit 'off' because of the rise in activity, but Tybalt was more concerned about whether or not his trainer had actually won something. But before they could go, Riley had to let Asriel go. Riley bent her knees and slowly let go, making sure his feet were on the ground before she released him. "Sorry, buddy. We gotta go now. You have a trainer, right?" She reached out and patted him on the head to say goodbye...and then kept petting him a little too long. So soft... When she remembered herself, Riley stood and nodded to the others. "Sorry. I'm ready."
As they walked, Riley introduced Seul to Huey. She had already returned Hubble. "This is Seul, he's my absol and he's been with me for a long time. Kuraz is a lucario, he's there with Berrie's friend Lua and her espeon. I'm...not sure where-oh, there's Vanyel!" Vanyel froze. He'd been trying to follow secretly while he tried to figure out how to rejoin the others. Annoyed, he drifted closer so Huey could see him. His eyes darted to Yuki but landed on Tybalt. He couldn't help looking at the Gallade again. Maybe he should ask Seul to say hello for him.
Amalia yipped, happy. She didn't notice any of Lua's true reaction to her response at all. <"I like...Lua!" Had she said that already? Well she would say it again, because it was true, and others should know what Amalia liked because that was important.

Since he'd agreed to help out, and that the redheaded woman would be, more or less, 'in charge', Huey looked up expectantly at her, the look in his eyes something that could only be described as 'politely curious'. He nodded his head as she began to introduce herself, only for his gaze to immediately snap to the taller man, Miss Fortune's companion, as he interrupted to inform the small group that her name was Scarlett. Unfortunately for him, she didn't seem to appreciate the fact that her introduction had been made for her--though what was 'funny' about it, Huey was unsure--then quickly ushered them off towards the area's exit. Huey turned around to wave quietly to the man, as it seemed to be the polite thing to do, then turned back around to look up at the only adult in their group. He dropped his head to the side, briefly confused, when she rather sternly told them to never call her 'Scarlett'. Why did she hate it so much? Scarlett was a rather pretty name, at least to him.
"Yes Miss Fortune." Though confusing Huey would do his best to oblige to the woman's request, even if he was rather unsure of what to call her now. 'Miss Fortune' seemed the most polite, and he wasn't all too sure about the whole 'Captain' name. At the very least Riley seemed to prefer it, going on to ask if they were pirates now. "Pirates?" Confused, Huey turned to Scarlett for clarification, his eyebrows once more coming together. Were they pirates now? Was Scarlett a pirate? Did that mean they'd have to start pillaging-- whatever that meant, admittedly the boy hadn't picked up a dictionary in a while... Still staring up at her, Huey could only watch from the corner of his eye as Riley set the fluffy Charmander back down, but not before giving it another, long, pet. Momentarily, he entertained the question of who exactly the Charmander belonged to, if not any of them then it had to be one of the other trainers who'd been battling Gothitelle.
Huey didn't allow himself to ponder the question any longer, quickly redirecting his focus onto Riley as she began to introduce her pokemon. "Hi Seul." He reached out to brush his fingers along the Absol's fur, marveling at how soft it felt. "And Kuraz." Greeting this particular pokemon took a bit more action, as he was forced to turn around to try and spot, and wave, the Lucario next to an Espeon. "And Vanyel." Huey beamed, glad to finally know the names of the pokemon he'd met back in the Kitchen.
Feeling the need to reciprocate Huey went about introducing his own pokemon, waving out a hand in each's general direction as he went. "This is Tybalt, he doesn't talk much but he likes candy. Yuki's my Froslass, she doesn't say much either-- at least not to other people, I think she's shy. On my shoulder is Prim, who likes to pull hair... And last but not least.." Huey paused as he reached Klefki, his mouth remaining open for a few solid seconds before he closed it. "This is Klefki," he said finally. "He's not actually my pokemon, he's just... hanging out with me for a bit."
Although he hadn't necessarily appreciated the added commentary to his introduction, Tybalt ignored any embarrassment he might've felt to instead focus his attention on Vanyel. He was looking at him... again, though he didn't offer a single word. Mildly curious, and left with no choice, the Gallade took it upon himself to reach out. "Hello," he greeted quietly, speaking verbally rather than telepathically. "Is there something I can help you with?"
