Tadashi was still a bit out of it as things continued around him. He had already told his mind to tune it all out, as he could do nothing about it and he was surrounded by people who could. After all, he was leaning on Suzume for support and forgetting to feel ashamed - that was a clear sign he was useless at the moment. Not that Suzume was weak or anything, but he was both taller and a stranger to this kind of contact with someone else, especially a woman.
However, Tadashi did notice Kyo's absence and then his rather crude landing. He was unsure what to make of it at the moment until Elisia hurriedly rushed by his side, meaning he was in deep trouble. Soon after that, he felt an enormous weight lifted off of him. He looked to see his flesh had gone back to normal. He smiled a bit, and then resisted the urge to go to sleep. At the very least, he could stay awake until he got back to his division if he couldn't be of use in battle, he decided. With some hesitation, he spoke to Suzume.
"I think I can support myself now...thanks for the help," he added, making sure he didn't come off as rude this time.

What you build you lay to waste. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take. So I, I won't be the one. Be the one to leave this. In pieces. And you, you will be alone. Alone with all your secrets. And regrets, don't lie. You promised me the sky. Then tossed me like a stone. You wrap me in your arms. And chill me to the bone. There's truth in your lies. Doubt in your faith. All I've got's what you didn't take." Lee simply ignored Tetsunosuke's words since he had specifically stated he didn't think Yuki would need medical attention. Was that not him saying he had faith in Yuki to fend off Zenos? However clearing such things up was not something Lee even cared to do. Let Tetsunosuke think what he wanted. However his words were not needed on the matter as Eriko spoke up about the situation. Lee glanced at her for a moment or two before turning his gaze to the battle between Yuki and Zenos. Watching in hidden amazement as Yuki used her lightning form again to bifurcate Zenos in two places. Lee was left speechless as the man's reiatsu disappeared completely though deep down Lee had his doubts about the man being truly dead. His healing capabilities were amazing and it just seemed unlikely then again he had been cut into four pieces. Waiting to see the result Lee had just begun to think it was possible Zenos was dead when the pillars appeared. 'Figures. Hopefully he will just leave now though.'
Gazing at the pillars tiredly he watched as a younger Zenos appeared from the pillars causing Lee to simply gaze at the man. Elisia's voice entered his ears and just as Zenos suddenly fired off a volley of Bala preparing himself for something he was suddenly occupied. It was at that time that Eriko had been pushed into him barely managing to not simply fall with the girl. Such unexpected jolts were not good when you were already so tired and generally unsteady. Eriko had drew back immediately though before he even had time to react to it causing him to close his eyes for a moment. Opening them back up it was quite apparent Kyo was gone especially considering Tetsunosuke seemed to be freaking out a little. Watching as a Garganta was opened up and Kyo was flung out and Lee couldn't help but notice a distinct bite mark and blood coming from Kyo's neck. Zenos bit him? Since when did he have such long canines? That was certainly the questions running through Lee's mind now since he didn't know about his past as a Vampire before becoming a hollow. However Tetsunosuke's words brought him out of his shell as the Captain asked why Zenos attacked Kyo.
"I would think that quite obvious. It was because he was the weakest and defenseless. It is the most natural choice to attack out of all of us. He had no way of knowing for sure how well the rest of us would have fought where as your fukutaicho was just laying there defenseless and unconscious. Simple choice after seeing that." While it may not have been the best way of putting Lee thought nothing of it and therefore said nothing more on the subject for the moment. Looking everyone over present for anymore injuries Lee's eyes lingered on Eriko for a moment or two longer before Lee looked up at Yuki. Now that the threat was over it was just the matter of seeing if she had anything else to say before heading to his office for a change of clothes. Then there would always be time for a little conversation with his Lieutenant or maybe Eriko if she wanted. He needed to talk to both women for entirely different reasons but neither one seemed to be anymore or less important at the moment.

651 xxxxxxxxthe Sun locks the Heavens xxxxxxxxthe Moon eclipses the Night 博士月子 Jūnibantai Taichō Tsukiko held out her own hand and waved it demurely, upset that the only answer she had for Elisia would not even be a viable one. "Anti-gravity, but I can't do it..." She mumbled in a depressed tone, turning her head to press her face into Elisia's shoulder after she was kissed on the head. For the next few minutes, Tsukiko said nothing and did nothing, preferring to remain still and quiet and nestled up against Elisia where she felt the most at ease. Quite frankly, Tsukiko was just drained, she had no Reiryoku to speak of, and she was running on spare reserves of power since the jump start didn't add much to her battery, so she didn't really want to move or anything of the sort. She was only made aware of things when she suddenly felt that Elisia's shoulder was no longer supporting her face, causing her to dip down suddenly before she looked up lazily as Elisia walked away.
Situating herself in a loose Indian-style arrangement, Tsukiko dropped her hands into her lap and stared vacantly at the ground as people bustled around her. A rapid beeping from her internal systems told her that several objects were approaching the group of Shinigami she was with. Suddenly coming to life, Tsukiko vanished from her spot, only to put herself between Elisia and the spears, blindly catching the closest one to her like it was nothing. As for the other ten or so that came close enough to hit Elisia, she struck them out of the air with a few well placed open-palmed strikes and kicks.
Her gaze fell on Zenos as he fell apart onto the ground beneath his sand column, only to silently swear when he materialized the pillars to protect himself. No one conjured pillars on their deathbed. As she feared, the pillars turned to dust to reveal the Arrancar alive and not-so-well. At first she was just plain stunned; it just wasn't possible for someone to get their brain chopped in half and come back from that. He looked towards them, and suddenly moved, causing her to active speed sight to track him as he moved. She watched him "walk" towards them, and by calculating his trajectory, she realized that he was going after Kyo. Tsukiko didn't know the boy, but that didn't stop her from thrusting her hand towards his arm in order to subject him to the death trap that was her grip strength. However, the prior movements to protect Elisia had cost her a fair amount of the stored energy Hei had given her and as a result, she stalled for a second. That second was all it took for Zenos to steal Kyo away, take him into a Garganta, drain his blood, bring him back, thrown him to the ground, fix the Hill, then leave.
Peering over Elisia's shoulder and eying the bite marks, Tsukiko distinctly muttered 'vampire' before blinking and looking at Lee as he answered Tetsunosuke. Not feeling up to the task of correcting Lee and dropping a load of scientific mumbo jumbo on him, she rambled to her self, allowing parts of her conversation to be heard to anyone who was actually listening hard enough. "Not weak and defenseless... irrationally hungry... common for vampires... feeding frenzy... He's been blooded... I assume..." All the while she muttered this to herself, she rubbed her chin with her finger, then stole the bag of syringes from Elisia. Quietly she eyed the syringe which still had blood on it. Her eyes magnified the image to the cellular level and she watched as a foreign cell she had never before observed attacked and mutated Kyo's blood cells. Refocusing her vision, she glanced down at the bite marks which were still not disappearing despite Elisia's healing. "I'll take this." She said quietly before running her fingers along Elisia's neck, and then vanishing from sight.

♪ Have you ever encountered such a beautiful melody? ♪ ═══════════════════════╕ Kyo continued to look up at the clouds of his inner world. He was overjoyed that he would live, but at the same time he knew he had to be ready to accept the embarrassment of such a failure. He only hoped that no one had been injured trying to save him. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, in doing so he missed the sudden pause in the snow when he was bleeding out due to the bite wound. Zetsumeireiki noticed but as the snow started right back a moment later, she felt it best not to worry him as it may have just meant his heart skipped a beat momentarily or maybe it meant nothing at all. After a few moments more she decided to break into his celebration. "Don't you think it's time for you to go back? Otherwise, everyone might start thinking you're not gonna wake up."
Kyo opened his eyes once again then looked down from the sky and over at her. "Right. I have been out of it for some time haven't I?" Kyo chuckled and scratched his temple. "Alright. Hopefully next time I see you it won't be under such dire..." Kyo suddenly stopped talking then turned to look into one of the windows of the lake house. He could have sworn he'd seen a figure moving around inside the house, but there was nothing there now. What's more how could anything be inside his inner world besides Zetsumeireiki and himself?
"What's the matter, Ro-Ro?" Zetsumeireiki asked turning to look as well.
Kyo shook his head and sighed. "It's nothing. I'm just seeing things. More importantly stop calling me that!" Kyo before stepping forward then licking the tip of his index finger and wiping it on her forehead.
"Eww! You jerk! You put spit on me!" Zetsumeireiki shouted frantically wiping the saliva off. "That's not cool!"
"Well...that's what you get for calling me that stupid nickname again," Kyo replied matter-of-factly. "Anyway, I'm going back now." He waved slightly then closed his eyes. When he opened them again he was looking up at a very blurred sky. The pain in his gut let him know he was back in the real world but there was another pain that he didn't expect. His neck felt as if someone had stuck red hot iron pokers into it. A quick glance to the left and right revealed two Captains on either side of him, but his vision was still too blurry to make out their faces. He was about to talk, but then he suddenly felt queasy. Knowing what was coming and not wanting to make the Captains subject to any friendly fire situations, he slowly rolled over onto his stomach then crawled forward a couple of feet before throwing up a mixture of blood and bile. Well doesn't that just taste wonderful, he thought as he spat out the last of it. Kyo then sat down indian-style and took a deep breath. He would try to stand in a few moments, but he figured it was too dangerous to attempt when he could hardly see straight.

Since her sister had taken care of the bala, there wasn’t really much to do. Holding out her hand in front of herself and Tadashi, she mumbled, “Bakudō #73: Tozanshō,” as she used the same Kido as her sister to protect them. However, since she was supporting Tadashi and his weight at the moment, she unfortunately was unable to move fast enough to stop Zenos from getting to Kyo. To tell the truth, she thought that one of the Captains would have done it, but then again, they all seemed pretty drained from their previous battle. As the formerly-weakened Arrancar reappeared before forming the hill back to normal, she shuddered slightly. That was one formidable foe, to be able to go against their Captain Commander and emerge relatively unscathed with enough power to do something like that. There was really not much point in attempting to stop him, since most of their Captains were weak and the Lieutenant/Third Seats had been absolutely impended by the Arrancar before.
The weight she had been supporting, suddenly lessened and she blinked slightly in shock before turning to look at Tadashi. Hmm? Oh, his arm had turned back to normal. Well, at least, that was good. As he somewhat hesitantly thanked her, she answered as politely as she could, “Oh, that’s alright. No problem.” Letting go of him carefully, she stood on edge for a bit, watching to see whether he could support himself now. While it had been pretty awkward helping him like that, it was one of the little things she could do at the moment, so she was determined to do the best she could. Her mind drifted to Nanashi as she wondered where he had gone. Strange. Maybe he had left because Elisia had seen his scars? After all, he had been pretty worried about them, but who wouldn’t? Groaning slightly, she merely stood there silently, waiting for something to happen. Hopefully they’d do something soon, since she still had to properly introduce herself to her Captain.

⋆⋆⋆∥ELISIA xRIYU ☇【squadxfourxCAPTAIN】 Elisia’s gaze briefly flickered from Kyo to Tetsunosuke as he spoke to her, before focusing again on her patient. “I’m fine,” she replied in the most cheerful tone she could summon, “Just a little bit tired from consecutive healings.” She didn’t respond to exactly Tetsunosuke’s other question, about why the Arrancar had done such a thing. Really, she would have thought that it would have been pretty obvious, but then again, one never knew. Instead she busied herself with making sure that the unconscious Kyo was alright. Unfortunately, the bite wound hadn’t healed fully for one reason or another, most likely because of something that Arrancar did. She attempted to listen to Tsukiko’s explanation, but looked completely lost for words. While she understood Tsukiko herself, science was never an area that she had been particularly interested in nor had really remembered anything about. However, one word made her freeze and look up at the girl. Vampire? That…wouldn’t be good. Recalling all the myths and legends about vampires, she threw a worried glance at Kyo. Often these stories talked about side-effects of being bitten by a vampire, and either way, the wound wasn’t closing up.
Maybe Tsukiko had some answers? Looking up at the girl, she frowned as she noticed the fact that Tsukiko was holding a syringe, which was obviously one of the ones Elisia herself had used. She patted her pouch several times, noticing that her bag of syringes were no longer there. Huh. She must be so out of it that she barely seemed to acknowledge or know of anything at all. As Tsukiko mentioned about taking them, she jerked out of her thoughts before saying rather blankly, “Oh, alright…I don’t mind.” Tingles ran up her entire body as Tsukiko touched her neck before the girl vanished. She sighed slightly, making a mental reminder to talk to the girl later. They had plenty of things between them, that they needed to rectify. It looked like they would have to deal with the mess now. She ran her fingers through her hair, her face a mixture of irritation and pure exasperation. Well, even though he had managed to basically make a mess of everything else, at least, he had managed to fix Sōkyoku Hill before he left. Maybe they might have some sort of chance to find Tadashi’s zanpakuto now. Then again, she had other matters to deal with before she did anything like that.
Turning back to her patient, she was surprised to see that he had turned over onto his stomach for some sort of reason before edging several feet forward. She half-reached out a hand towards him, saying in a warning voice, “Don’t do that, moving might make you vo--” Her voice cut off as she noticed him vomiting. Great. Well, better in than out, or at least, that was what people said most of the time. Somehow, glancing at the blood and bile combination, she doubted that. Moving next to him, she generated some acid on her fingers before letting it drop on the mixture and eat it away. That way, nobody else would have to endure it. Gingerly sitting on the other side of Kyo where there hadn’t been vomit, she advised him quietly, “Don’t move for the moment. You had, I think, about two fatal wounds, coupled with blood loss, so if you move, there’s a liability you might faint. Just stay here for the meantime, and then I’ll move you to the hospital to keep an eye on you.” Arranging herself so that she was sitting cross-legged, she looked up at the other Captains before asking, “Is there anything else we need to do?” ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

607 xxxxxxxxClimb the mountains and get their good tidings. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. Hakase Yuki 博士雪 Ichibantai Taichō
Raising her arm defensively to counter Zenos' cero, she fell for his trap and missed the window in which she had to stop Zenos from taking Kyo, despite her speed. Through the volley of Bala and their respective explosions, she remained temporarily distracted enough to miss where he was going. Normally this wouldn't have been enough to distract Yuki, but she was already furious at herself for not finishing the job when she saw Zenos fall. This made it clear to her that she still had to work on her discipline, and she silently chided herself as she scanned the skies for Zenos' supposed return. Watching him come out of the garganta and return Kyo, albeit roughly, she tightened her grip on hist nodachi's faux saya and prepared to move, but stopped when she caught note of the irregularities in Kyo's body. Remaining steadfast and silent as Zenos clearly demonstrated that he was not as powerless as she originally though, Yuki gritted her teeth as she stared up at him. Seconds passed and he made a tactical retreat into a Garganta that opened behind him, an event that did not relax Yuki in the slightest.
Moments of dead silence around her passed as her thoughts raced throughout her head. A younger Zenos, his canines were longer, his pulse had been erratic, and he had abducted one of her subordinates only to return him in a state that was even worse than before. She had known he was a vampire, but she was careless enough to think that once he had shed that side of him, that it would never return. It was her carelessness that had just drastically changed Kyo's life from this moment forward. She had seen it before; the process through which one slowly became a blood-sucking denizen of the night. The nightmares, the chills, and the irrational thirst for blood that was so strong that you would sooner attack your best friend than ignore it. Then there was the pain of your cells being altered; it simply wreaked havoc on the body and there was nothing she had ever been able to do about it now. Feeling helpless and awashed with negative emotions that she really did not need at the present moment, Yuki began to blame herself, entering a state of self-destruction that would end shortly as it normally did.
With each passing moment, Yuki's face became angrier and angrier. First it was narrowed eyes, then it was a furrowed brow, and as three minutes came by she looked absolutely furious. For a brief second, the crimson-colored Reiryoku that danced across her body suddenly shifted to black, bearing an ominous weight that was similar to Hei's very presence, yet different enough that the two could be distinguished. Yuki seemed to sway as lightning struck the ground all around her, tearing up the ground as it struck multiple times in response to her anger and causing the hair on the back of her neck to rise. Strike after strike occurred until finally, having torn up most of the meadow in her silent rage, Yuki cancelled her Bankai, gripped her katana tightly, and whirled around to present her back to those that sat dozens of feet away. "You're all dismissed..." She said in an irritated voice, letting her Reiryoku and Reiatsu shift back to normal. Then she was simply gone; vanished without a trace. One second she had been standing there, and a quarter of a second later she was not. She did not fade out, but instead solidly disappeared, making her way back to her bedroom which should have been completed by this point.

Jūbantai-Taichō My Fears... While trying to keep her eyes to herself, Eriko folded her arms against her chest. Things seemed to be winding down. Tetsu was concerned about his Lieutenant as he should be. Sakamoto's hand had been restored. Lee was correcting Tetsu only to be corrected by Tsukiko. For a few minutes, her mind was not wandering and she listened closely to what the Junibantai-Taicho was saying. That Arrancar was, is a vampire and now, Kyo was supposedly going to become one as well. Quietly, she crouched to a stooping position. Lee's sideway glances at her had not been missed but as life stood at that moment, it could wait till they knew for sure what was going on between them. That is why she stood up spontaneously, turned her back to him and started to walk only to almost makes a step in Kyo's bile. With a few steps backward away from the acid, Eriko straightened herself as Elisia advised Kyo about moving too soon. Then, came her question. It was not a surprise that she would ask it but that it worded her own mental stream quite concisely. What was the next step for them?
A prompt response would have been given if a dark reiatsu had not presented itself. With any such released reiryoku, a relentless pressure crashed down on her person. The weight was familiar in its vast amount since she had felt something similar from Hei but it was not him. Yuki was furious. Eriko tried to chance a glance at the Sotaicho while attempting to steel herself against the force. What had caused this much fury? However, she had not seen anything as yet when lightning began to strike in a random manner across the meadow situated at the foot of the Hill. Even though she was not in harm's way, it was still a sight to witness. When it was over finally, she lifted her head again to watch Yuki but the older woman was already preparing to leave. If she had wanted to say something to her, the opportunity to do so was thrown to the side by the subsequent dismissal of the group and a vanishing act. With the atmosphere back to normal, Eriko faced Elisia again. "Right now, I think that we should just rest and regroup later to discuss everything that concerns us as a whole, especially what happened in the Exaequare dimension." The second sentence brought her eyes over to Lee and via a clean Shunpo, she reappeared at his left side. "Recuperate and meet with your new Lieutenant properly. I will be at my quarters." Eriko looked across at him for a few seconds after whispering this in a slightly strict tone. As there was nothing else to be said, she decided to leave them there until work called again.

Tadashi stopped, took a deep breath, and steadied himself. He was starting to feel much better now that both arms were flesh and usable. However, one was still incredibly sore and the resocketed one was aching (which was of course better than being useless, but it still felt odd). "I'm fine..." he murmured to Suzume. He then noticed that, for some reason, Sokyoku Hill had been more or less fixed. This would certainly make it easier to locate his zanpakuto, which he did in a few moments of searching. Before going after it, he gave a quick thanks to Elisia as well - he didn't want to be rude after she'd done him a big favor, despite it being her job.
He flash-stepped down to where Tenma lay, sealed and most likely very displeased. He picked up the sword and replacing it in his sheath.
'I must say, that move of yours was brilliant - i'm sure other people who drop their swords and use a useless move on their opponent would agree.'
'Silence, I didn't have much of a choice. I had to do something, and with the very restrictions on this sword that you yourself placed, I couldn't very well cut through that near invulnerable hierro even a bit.'
Tadashi waited, but surprisingly there was no reply. Sighing, he looked around and wondered what would happen next - in fact, he wondered what had happened recently, in the Exaequare world. Oh well, he was sure to hear of it quite soon anyway, and right now he needed a meal and a good long nap. Turning towards the general direction of the 9th's barracks, he began to flash-step over.
'Wait...I wonder what happened to Hibiki-taicho in all this," thought Tadashi," oh well."

Lee turned to look at Tsukiko as he was corrected raising an eyebrow at her broken words catching the word vampire. A vampire? So that is what Zenos was? Well that certainly cleared matters up nicely and brought on an understanding at exactly what Kyo was going through. At least a level of understanding though Lee didn't know a ton concerning vampires and therefore could only make assumptions. Watching as Kyo woke up and crawled puking up so bile mixed in with blood. Closing his eyes Lee placed his left hand on his zanpakuto tapping it lightly with one finger. 'What do you want? I need my rest after what happened as well. Otherwise I won't be in a good enough condition next time you call on me.' Removing his hand Lee opened his eyes lazily for a moment before looking towards the newly rebuilt hill. 'Nothing of importance I suppose. It can wait till later. Rest well.' Yuki's presence was marked with a show of power and anger. Staring on in slight shock and awe Lee simply could not find the words to describe what his thoughts were.
The only thing Lee knew was that quite frankly known of them standing there right now would have ever had a chance against an angry Yuki. Well probably not even a calm Yuki considering how much power she wielded. Watching as the Commander dismissed them then left Lee turned to Elisia staring at her for a moment before speaking up to say something. "You should probably go get some rest as well Elisia-taicho. I am sure the healing you did made you tired. Nice job today." Lee would have said more to everyone else present but it was at that time Eriko spoke up. Hearing Eriko's words as she addressed everyone Lee was preparing to leave himself when she appeared beside him. The whisper stopped him as he stared out of his peripheral vision at her giving a slight nod as she left. Turning to look at Suzume with a blink of the eye he was suddenly in front of her. Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ Tetsunosuke glared over his shoulder to Lee as he spoke. If looks could speak, his would say: Thanks, Captain Obvious. Then Tsukiko's murmuring words reached his ears. "Huh? What... vampire?" He gave her a dumb founded look with a cocked brow. She vanished without another besides to Elisia. Tetsunosuke noticed his Lieutenant's eyes had opened, "Kurihara-kun." he said. Tetsu watched as he slowly repositioned himself to puke. After Kyo had adjusted himself to sitting Indian-style, he was unable to speak and ask how he was before Elisia had jumped onto him. Yuki's presence was well known with her Reiatsu. He turned to see that she was angered; he guessed about what happened between her and Zenos. Or the fact that he had attacked them. Or possibly a combination of the both. After she was finished and sealed her bankai. Her words of dismissal came as a relief to him. A small sigh was heard after she was well gone, in which he looked over to Elisia, "I will move Kurihara-kun to the Yonbantai for you, Riyu-taichō." Tetsunosuke said as he noticed the other Captains and Lieutenants -and third seat- were leaving. "Kurihara-fukutaichō... we can speak later about the important stuff, all right?" The haori-less captain said to his subordinate. He took a few steps toward them; Tetsu awaited for Elisia to move and head to her Division so he could assist her. ◤

⋆⋆⋆∥ELISIA xRIYU ☇【squadxfourxCAPTAIN】 Elisia couldn’t help but recoil from Yuki as Yuki started to wreak havoc on the places around her, obviously channelling her anger into it. Part of her marvelled at the power, while the other cringed at the destructive force. She stumbled slightly as Yuki’s pressure descended upon them, unable to keep her balance. Seriously, it seemed as if all her energy had been drained. That wasn’t good. There was an element of relief as their Captain Commander cancelled her Bankai before telling them that they were all dismissed. Ah well, at least, she would have time now to get everything done. A frown appeared on her face as she glanced briefly at Kyo. To tell the truth, she was worried about the entire matter, and the fact that Kyo’s wound didn’t seem to want to close up at all. And why had Tsukiko taken the blood? There had to be some sort of reason or logic to that, which was, so far, not looking too good for Kyo. Vampires were supposed to be the stuff of myths, of legends, but it seemed that no-one would be able to predict what would happen to him. Maybe it might be good to ask Tsukiko or Hei what was going on.
Then again, maybe Tsukiko might be a better choice. Even if Hei had been scolded by Yuki, she was one of the few people that were able to do that and she dreaded seeing him anyway. Rousing herself out of her thoughts, she latched onto the end of Lee’s sentence. For a second, she stood there, looking confused before waking herself up and replying as he left, “Oh, thanks. I’ll get rest later.” There were a million and one different things that she needed or wanted to do before the day was up, but unfortunately, her energy levels were depressingly low. One of the things she had on her mind, was about Tsukiko and the fact that it was time for them to have a nice long chat about things. And if everything worked out about that, she might have to drop in to pay a visit to Yuki and Hei. Shuddering at that thought, she pulled herself upright, before staring directly at her sister and speaking to Zume. “You’ve most likely got things to do, but come and catch up with me when you have some free time.” With that problem put out of her mind, she turned back to Kyo and Tetsunosuke.
Putting a grateful smile on her face, she told Tetsunosuke, “Oh, no need. It’s alright. I can manage him from here. ” However, she leant towards Tetsunosuke before he could protest or anything like that, whispering quietly so that Kyo would not be able to hear her, “I need you to do something else important for me. Before Tsukiko left, she took with her a blood sample and she most likely took it for one reason or another. Ask her if everything is alright with Kyo. Being bitten by an apparent vampire might not prove wonderful for him.” Her voice was hushed and serious, inflected with her anxiety, before she rotated around to face Kyo with a beaming grin on her face. “Anyway, Kurihara-fukutaichō, wasn’t it? Don’t worry, we’ll keep you under observation for a night or so, just to make sure everything alright, m’kay?” With that, she swooped down, gently picking Kyo and holding him in her arms. She was careful not to jolt him too much. After all, a rocking movement might make him feel queasy again. Before she moved away, she turned to Tetsunosuke, reminding him, “If you can do that little favour for me, it would be great. Thank you ~” Then, she shunpo’ed awkwardly away, attempting to counter-balance Kyo’s weight as best as she could.

xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx【 SUZUME CHIYOKO 】 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxLoneliness hit me suddenly, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxbut it’s only t h e n that I realized, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxafter all that I have ever DREAMED of, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI really don’t like F I G H T I N G ✿✿✿ Why was the Captain Commander so angry? While she could understand that the woman would get angry about the fact that their enemy had basically attacked one of their comrades, lightning and a heavy pressure was definitely not the way to go about it. Fury was written across the woman’s face, and Suzume shivered to see such a sight of sheer power and anger. As the Captain Commander left, Suzume let out an audible sigh, breathing a little easier now that the woman was gone. While that woman was on their side, it was still unnerving to see such a sight. It sort of reminded her of the other frightening person – that Hakase Hei. Then again, wasn’t there something about them being related or something like that? Really, that would suit them pretty well as there was quite a number of similarities between them. Shaking her head at her own sudden judgements, she nodded in response to her Captain. They did sort of need to figure out things and get some sort of introductions going on. It had been luck so far that had gotten her into this spot, since apparently, somebody vacated it a brief while ago when she had inquired about it. Maybe the person died? Maybe not. She’d better get her facts straight before she started asking about these things. In a clear voice, she answered her sister’s statement, “Well, I’ll see you later, nee-chan.” Shunpo’ing away, she disappeared towards her Captain’s quarters.

♪ Have you ever encountered such a beautiful melody? ♪ ═══════════════════════╕ Kyo's vision was still blurry but he didn't need his eyes to know that it was the captain of the Yonbantai who was speaking to him. After all, who else could have healed him so completely so fast? He had spent a little time the night before trying to remember the names of all the captains after getting assigned to the Rokubantai, though he didn't know any of their faces, save Harasawa-taicho. His nausea was gone now. After she'd advised him not to move anymore he finally opened his mouth and spoke. "Aye, Riyu-taicho. Thank you for saving my life. I apologize for troubling you." Kyo was outwardly stoic but internally he felt a mixture of shame, anger, and sadness that he had been such a liability. Never again... he thought with solid determination as he looked at the ground in front of him as the Captain-Commander let her rage rain down from the heavens. Her spiritual pressure was stifling, but he fought through it. He had heard the dismissal order as well, but as Elisa had instructed him to do, he did not move. His pride wanted to force him to his feet. His body was not having it. He was still far to light-headed and disoriented.
After a few more moments he heard someone offer to help move him. He didn't recognize the voice obviously, but as his vision was cleared he could see it was his captain. "Aye, Harasawa-taicho," Kyo replied to Tetsunosuke's question almost immediately . He didn't look up to meet Tetsunosuke's gaze when he spoke. He didn't want to see his captain's face for fear of seeing a look of disappointment upon it. As Tetsunosuke and Elisa had their whispered exchange Kyo ran is finger across the scar from the wound that had nearly been the end of him. It was almost ten inches long. He was a lucky man indeed. Had it not been for Elisa, they would surely be having a second funeral today. What was that about twice though? Did something else happen while I was unconscious? He moved his fingers up to his neck. If anything, the minor pain there would be an indicator of what she had said. Indeed, there was a wound there. It was a strange one: two small holes right next to each other. Some kind of poison needle attack maybe?
He turned suddenly as he was yanked from his musing by Elisa speaking to him once again. "Okay, I understand, Riyu-taicho." He finally swallowed his pride and looked up at Tetsunosuke. If there was disappointment looking back at him, then he would just have to take that blow and strive to not have it upon him again. However, as fate would have it or perhaps it was just dumb luck, Tetsunosuke was silhouetted against the sun, so Kyo couldn't even make out his face. "Harasawa-taicho. I know this is a little rash of me, but can I ask you one favor? Could you please bring the shuriken that almost cost me my life back to the Rokubantai Headquarters? I want...I want to keep it as a physical reminder of my weakness and mortality so that I never lose the drive to become stronger." Kyo's eyes showed his resolve as he presented his request to Tetsunosuke. Even if his captain didn't, Kyo would come back on his own to retrieve it if he could. He felt it was something necessary for him to be able to move on from this incident positively.
Kyo then suddenly felt himself being lifted of the ground. "W-w-wait, Riyu-taicho! Y-you don't have to carry me! I can stand on my own!" He said in protest as the embarrassment of being carried off set in. His grandfather's stern gravely voice played out in his head. Kyoshiro! What did I tell you?! Either you die on the battlefield or you leave it under your own power, even if you have to crawl with your teeth to do so! Where is your pride as a warrior?! He closed his eyes and dropped his head as his request fell on deaf ears when Elisa shunpo'd away with him in her arms. My pride as a warrior....
