NHL '94 was a great game. EA was a great company back in the 90s, although as the new millennium approached, they slowly descended into a downward spiral of shitty catastrophes with all of which had the mark of John Madden.

Kind of like Squaresoft and their merging with Enix.

Kinda, but EA basically released the same exact game with a roster change for the past 6 years

What we need is a modern NBA Jam. That game was awesome. A new Blitz would be pretty cool too.

I'm not too big on sports game, cause I feel they lack the creativeness that the Mario seires is FULL of. But i did like Mario Hoops 3 on 3.

So far, Mario and co. has done almost every sport.

DO you guys think they could cut it in a hockey or football game?

Yes actually, I did know NBA Jam and Blitz were owned by Midway, still doesn't mean that new sequels are in order.

EA isn't going to do anything innovative or creative for the rest of their days as a gaming company because they don't give a s**t about the gamers, only the dollars.

Hey everyone, I'm leaving at about 11:30 and won't be home until some time after 2, so while I'm gone keep voting. Right now it's a tie, and I need a definitive winner. I've decided I'm going to do all 3, but the winner will go first, and it will go in that order basically.

Hello Culties! Lucky fore me I've manaded to get back from my day of tedium early, so now I can bring you all another interview!

It's been a while since I've done one of these, and I really must thank everyone who has contributed to this thread!

Now then, down to business! Now I am talking with CockroachHunter-S, the very first Aussie to get Brawl! Lucky him! blaugh

"So friend, how do you feel being the first Austrailian person to get Brawl?"

CockroachHunter-S
Haha. T, words can't describe my joy. I will say that when on first obtaining Brawl, I licked the case. XD

" xd Well, we can understand. This IS a big game, for sure! So how is it for you so far?"

CockroachHunter-S
Brawl so far has been fantastic. It would be perfect, but Basic Brawl doesnt work. Can't win it all I guess.

"I see. Well I get cut off most of the time myself with that option too. So who would you say are your best characters?"

CockroachHunter-S
My best character? Mr. Game & Watch. He's 2D. Too destructive. Go ask Decavolty and Jackson. They know first hand. XD

"No foolin'? G&W's my fav too! Hehe... Good thing they didn't nerf him or anything! 3nodding

Now you mentioned Basic Brawl, which is one of the options when playing Brawl via Wi-Fi. Has it been good playing via Wi-Fi?"

CockroachHunter-S
The WiFi? It's been all over the place. From practically no lag while versing Deca to enough lag to write a novel between whilst getting the crap bashed outta me by Fish.

I see. Well the lag happens sometimes, but as long as we can play together in the games we love, it's something that can be overlooked. Here's hoping for more victories for ya!

Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum is a crossover fighting game made by SNK Playmore, in which games released on the Neo-Geo arcade system are represented through their own respective characters. The game features characters from Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, Samurai Showdown, King of Fighters, Last Blade, Metal Slug, Buriki One, Savage Reign, World Heroes, Aggressors of Dark Combat, Athena, and 2 new characters that are for this game alone (Yuki and Ai.)

Here is a list of all the characters:

* The King of Fighters

Kyo Kusanagi (in his NESTs saga outfit)
Iori Yagami
K'
Shermie
Mizuchi (a clone of KOF 97's Orochi)

* Fatal Fury

Geese Howard
Mai Shiranui
Kim Kaphwan
Jin Chonshu
Jin Chonrei
Tung Fu Rue

* Garou: Mark of the Wolves

Terry Bogard
Rock Howard
Hotaru Futaba

* Art of Fighting

Robert Garcia
Lee Pai Long
Mr. Big

* Samurai Shodown

Haohmaru
Genjuro Kibagami
Nakoruru
Shiki
Asura

* World Heroes

Hanzo
Fuuma
Mudman
Neo Dio

* Metal Slug

Marco Rossi
Mars People

* The Last Blade

Kaede (in his Awakened form)
Moriya Minakata
Akari Ichijou
Keiichiro Washizuka

* Athena

Athena

* King of the Monsters

Cyber Woo

* Aggressors of Dark Kombat

Kisarah Westfield

* Buriki One

Ryo Sakazaki as Mr. Karate

* Kizuna Encounter

King Lion/Shishioh

Original

* Yuki
* Ai

Bosses

* Mizuchi: A clone of Orochi created by WAREZ.
* Neo Dio: An alien form, boss from World Heroes.
* King Lion/Shin Shishioh: The boss version of King Lion/Shishioh from Savage Reign and Kizuna Encounter.
* Goodman: The real final boss of NGBC. He uses a flaming whip both as a weapon, and to command a fire-like gorilla spirit (called Saru Ou, or Gorilla King) in a manner similar to an animal tamer. Interestingly enough, he looks very similar to Igniz, end boss of The King of Fighters 2001.

The game has a 2 on 2 tag battle system, similar to the vein of Marvel vs. Capcom. You press R1 to tag out, teams can also do a tag combo in which your partner will come out, hit your opponent into the air, while you do a combo in mid air and knock them back down.

The fighting style is very similar to the vein of King of Fighters, so if you are a fan of that, or of fighting games in general, this is the game for you.
The controls are very good, just like most SNK fighting games are, and the PS2 controller is just about perfect for your SNK fighting games, considering it's a mainly 4 button attack system.

I give this game a 10/10. It's a great fighting game, and has a very vast set of characters I didn't expect to be in this game. I personally would have liked some more Fatal Fury characters, but that's just me. This game is also only 15 bucks, I'd recommend getting this and KOF XI, both have similar engines but both are great games.

Yeah, that's too modern for me. Although NGBC is modern it's based on a retro style, my kind of style.
