Miyuki had been watching him from afar, her aquamarine eyes never wavering from his form. He was a beautiful person, at least in her mind, and she was now her precious person as well. Just the thought sent her heart soaring, but she kept her emotions in check for now. If she got herself too excited for something that was destined to fail, the heartache would be ten times worse than what could've been possible.
Heaving a sigh, she slinked back behind a tree, so that if he were to look over, she would be hidden from his view. She didn't want to be clingy, and so, invading him on something that could be considered his personal time wouldn't be too fair. Perhaps he wanted to be left alone. It was a very serene and tranquil moment, after all. He didn't need some female next to him, filling his mind with endless chatter.
Instantly, she hit herself on the side of the head. Damn it, she had to stop that! He wouldn't be like that at all! But her insecurities where so high at this point. Turning so that she could peek her head out from behind the tree, she watched as he continued to gaze into the night sky, allowing her own eyes to look up as well. The stars were beautiful at this time, and it caused a small smile to appear on her face before she pulled herself back from view.
"It's too lovely to interrupt..."

"I miss the stars terribly," The Jedi said aloud.
He stood in his robes, his artifical hand reaching up into the night sky. He closed his hands slowly, the light whir of servomotors accompanying the motion.
The young man stared into the night.
"Earth... has such beautiful stars around her. Much like my homeworld..." He sounded so sad and longing. He wished he could go home. Corellia was his home and so was Ossus - where the Jedi Temple currently was at after the other was destroyed.
Valin sighed, shifting his arm downwards away from the sky.
"It is not like me to stay anywhere too long..." He said to Miyu.

Kicking to his feet he smiled
"Well if I had anyone to join me, I would hope it to be you."
Bowing his head in greeting to the Jedi he wrapped his arms around the woman.
"I thought no one would be out here, but I suppose everyone is drawn to a beautiful scene.
Returning his gaze to the water, he grinned as the fire flies whizzed by.
"So Valin was it? Tell us about your world?"

Miyuki was jolted from her thoughts at the voice near her, turning her head to look at him as her hands gripped the tree that her chest was pressed against. Her eyes filled with wonderment as he spoke, never realizing how many places really were beyond this world. She blinked a few times, turning back to gaze at the stars as well after he had spoken.
"Well, it's wonderful here. You should stay longer."
A smile appeared on her face afterwards, indicating she was sincere in her words. He had seemed like a nice person before, and the way he was speaking meant that he indeed could be trusted. Brushing a few strands of hair out of her face, she wet her lips, them having gone dry while she stayed in her spot.
However, she was quickly surprised as she felt strong arms wrap around her, a faint blush appearing on her face. Tilting her head upward, she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek as she nuzzled his neck with her nose, something akin to a purr escaping her. However, perhaps the scene was too mesmeric, for soon, her eyes began to shut as she began to drift off into a dreamless sleep.

Valin smiled, "The world of Corellia. A world of spacejockies, smugglers, pirates, and more. They say rocket fuel flows in our blood. For us beating the odds that life throws at you - that's a reward all in itself. Most of the galaxy thinks we're mavericks."
The Jedi Knight turned to Kendo with a big smile, "They have no idea."
He turned away again, "But... we're really sentimental about our world. We take great pride in our heritage and of our world. Also, we're equally sentimental about family - its very important to us."
Valin sat on the ground, "I miss Corellia. He's the Eldest Brother of the Five Brothers - that is, the five planets in the Corellia System."

Running his hand through Miyu's hair as she drifted off to sleep he smiled nodding at the Jedi.
"Thats understandable, You speak Corellia as if it itself was part of your family. I can't say I have ever felt as close to any one place. I suppose thats why I chose to become a wanderer. Then again, my race is prone to wanderlust, but usually for other reasons."
Gaining a thoughtful expression he smiled.

"Hm. I say I want to go home... but I just can't sit around in one place for very long..." Valin said to Kendo.
"If I stuck around anywhere too long... I become comfortable... I start thinking about the war..." He groaned quite loud in frustration.
He looked at Kendo, "I am not the good man I want to be. I have commited... horrors."
The Jedi Knight paused, "The war changed me. I watched as I sent good men and women to die. I killed people. I watched as my apprentince died in my arms... I can still hear her... I loved her... and in her name I committed my horrors."
He turned away from Kendo, "I shouldn't be sharing this. You don't want to hear this... and yet you trust me and you think of me as 'good' when you don't even know what I have done."

Sitting down against the trunk of a tree he set Miyuki down his lap.
"To my knowledge it seems this place is a stomping ground for individuals with shady pasts. I for one have done my share of bad things. One thing to note is that there is no true notion of good. Percieveing your actions without trying to visualize the other side of a situation makes you as equally evil as those pecieved as evil. In truth, to someone "evil" You are the evil one."
Sighing inwardly he gazed down at his hands shaking his head.
"The blood that drenchs my hand has been stripped many of mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters. But I suppose the ability to recognize this sets me apart from those that I have slain."
Closing his eyes he once more looked upon the Jedi.
"What say you Valin?"
