Breaking his crouch to sit, he sighed inwardly not sure what to do with the moment. Seeing her accept his cloak he smile pleased that his gesture was accepted. Resting his hands upon his lap he took the moment to gaze upon her without coming across as voyeuristic. Just as he than thought to himself a moment, before she was an increasing beautiful women. Though he couldn't quite figure out whether she enjoyed his company or mainly tolerated him out of kindness
"I've been alright...My time has been spent getting aquainted with the landscape and landmarks in this region. Many places were to my liking and others just served to pass the time. I suppose thats why I returned to this place.
I don't believe I have felt as at peace as I did when I was last here. So I suppose I should be thank you with gracing me with your presence once again. I'm indebted. Strangely I find myself wanting ask you question that are perhaps not my place to ask"

Miyuki glanced upward for only a moment to see him seating himself next to her. Her face began to readily warm up at this, feeling him very close to her, their legs faintly touching as they sat together. Why, oh why was she acting in such a way? Before she could be around any guy, flirt with him incessently, and not have a care in the world afterwards! But now, this man for some reason had her melting where she sat, and it was something she wasn't used to. Perhaps it was the attraction she held for him? Nonsense! She had been attracted to others before, but she had never reacted in this way. As if understanding that point, her tail began to swish around gently, finally swinging forward to flicker towards Kendo instead. Covering her face, she hoped he didn't really notice that, for it was her own inward way of showing affection. However, not many people knew that about her, so perhaps he wouldn't mention anything to her about the little action. His words snapped her out of her thought process, and as she looked up at him, she allowed her hands to drop into her laugh, now playing with the hem of her skirt in more of a nervous manner. At his statement, a flicker of confusion graced her features as she tilted her head in his direction.
"Q-questions? If you have any questions, you a-are more than w-welcome to ask them! I d-don't mind at all, really!"
Well, this was a good start. He wanted to get to know her a bit more, at least, and it seemed that his curiousity was getting the best of him as well. That seemed to appease her momentarily, her fingers interlacing as she forced them to stop fidgeting so much. Her ears, however, were another story, as they kept flickering about, tilting towards any sound that would be made, or even just twitching gently due to the air around them. Biting her lower lip as she had before, she found herself looking back up at him again, her deep azure eyes locking with his for only a moment before they fluttered back down to her lap where her hands were. If only she could be a bit more forward like she used to be. But for some reason, she had become so timid. It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, and sometimes, she was happy she was this way. She seemed to be less stressed out when she was calm like this, but when put in a situation as nerve-wracking as the one she was in, she was anything but calm. It wasn't a horrible situation, oh no, anything but horrible. Miyuki was just naturally nervous.

Clearing his throat as if to keep from choking on his words he forced a smile before speaking once again.
"So are you seeing anyone at the moment?"
Straigtening his posture he began to figit with his tail as it seem to be getting in the way of him being comfortable. Swallowing once again he attempted to resume his normal appearence of nonchalance in these situations.
Brushing aside his long ponytail he once more resumed placing his hands in his lap, the sound of the metal gauntlets scraping against each other grating into his ear drums. Moistening his lips he resumed gazing at her face noticing piercing blue of her eyes. She looked so vibrant in comparison to his dull hues.

If Miyuki could've looked anymore shocked, she dared someone to prove it. Her mouth was slightly open, her eyes widened in surprise, and she couldn't put together the words for a response. Out of any questions he could have asked her, that was one that she hadn't been expecting. However, it gave her a small burst of feminine pride; that had to mean he was somewhat interested, right? Of course it did, that's the way men worked! At least she hoped... Oh why was she going back and forth between this! She couldn't be sure what he was thinking until he said it, and so, she would have to prompt him to make his point clear of what he had sound. Finally snapping back into reality, she closed her mouth quickly, and turned her head away for a moment in a shy manner. Lifting her hands, she pressed her two index fingers together, breathing slowly so that she could get most of the damn response out without too much stuttering on her part. When she felt as though she could put together a decent reply, she turned her head towards him so that her eyes locked with his once more.
"N-no, I'm not actually. I h-haven't been with anyone in a v-very long time. Can I ask why you w-wanted to know?"
If she could've blushed more, she would've, but it wasn't really possible to overshadow the flaming red that was on her face at this point. Immediately her hands flew to her cheeks again, covering them from his sight as she turned her head away to stare at her feet instead. Oh yes, her feet were very entertaining at this point. Her tongue flickered out to wet her lips which had seemingly gone dry in the last few moments. It seemed that perhaps she was finally hitting somewhat of a good streak in life. There was a very attractive male next to her, kitsune no less, that was asking her if she was seeing someone! How often did you read that in a romance novel?!

Raising his eyebrows at her discernably shocked expression he laughed sheepishly scratching the back of his head ackwardly. It was definately not the type of question she found himself asking often, but it was one that was eating at the back of skull for so long that if he didn't say it he felt like he was going to burst. He had lost track of the years he had been single and how many women he had divuldged his interest to. Most women found him well and fine as an ally or for conversation but most were already involved or just plain not interested.
As she turned her head away he began to feel sharp gnawing sensation in the pit of his stomach urging him to take flight or just play things off smooth, but strangely he just remained firmly planted unable to move without an answer. As she broke her silence he once again raised his gaze to her eyes and at once had to stifle the influence of a ridiculous grin trying to force itself to the surface. Clearing his throat he cracked light smiled.
"Ah...I'm actually quite surprised to hear of such a circumstance. I would thought someone such as yourself would have been...errr single...."
Siphoning foward his confidence which he found had just about deserted him at the moment he found he was unable to finish his thought

At his latest remark, she found herself looking up at him with another moment of confusion. Surprised? She didn't understand why he would be surprised at that admittance. Hell, he should have been surprised if she was in a relationship. She didn't think she was the most ravishing girl on the face of the planet, and even though she was nice and sweet sometimes, she had a temper that could probably piss off even the most righteous of saints. The last relationship she had been in had ended in a very harsh manner, her partner having grown very upset at her over something little, and she had fired back in a way that she would never done before she had been with him. It seemed every relationship seemed to shape out how she was now, which was a bit disheartening, but at the same time, she wasn't that upset about it. She thought she was a decent person still, but not the greatest by any lengths. But he was surprised that she was single? Well, that did give her a boost of feminine pride once more as earlier. He definitely was stroking her ego tonight.
"S-surprised? Could you explain why, b-because I'm not sure I u-understand completely..."
Even if he was making her feel a bit better, there was still that little voice in the back of her head that was telling her not to get too comfortable with it yet. Perhaps it was some kind of trap, and he would just leave and walk away from her now to let her stew in mortification for awhile. Miyuki sincerely hoped that wouldn't be the case. However, she just had to make sure. Was he interested in her? Or was he just saying it to be nice? That was a possibility. He was a man who seemed to know his manners, and there was the chance that he was just being kind and trying to make her feel better about herself. Ugh, she hated it when she was being internally pessimistic. Allowing her hands to drop once more, she grabbed onto her tail that had suddenly been swishing around in a bit of a frantic motion. This was how someone knew what mood she was in, if she ever explained how it worked. And right now, considering she was nervous, her tail would react in a similar way. So instead, she held it in her hands tightly, feeling the pressure she was adding, and making sure she didn't injure herself in the process. Her eyes were now locked with her hands, her legs shifting somewhat underneath them as she tried to get into a more comfortable position.

Caught off guard by her line of questioning he tilted his head fighting of a wave of confusion coming from him as well. Orderin his thoughts trying to make sure if he had heard correctly he smiled. Drawing on the reserves of his courage he reached out to stroke the back of her hand.
"I truelly find it staggering that you could be single. Gazing upon your face I find that I am finding difficult to find words. There have been few women's whose company has caused me to literally feel in shambles. But far from wanting the feeling to end, I wish to incourage such circumstances. If there are no men in your life, I would surely love to occupy such a place. "
Gazing down at his lap his tail had gone almost rigid with ebbing of his confidence.
Shaking his head his returned his gaze to her face.
"To look upon her face, I am truly blessed."

Once again, like she had been before with his first question, Miyuki was in a state of shock. Complete and utter shock. Not only had he complimented her in some of the most wondrous and heartfelt words, but he had thrown himself at her mercy by saying that he wished, that he would love, to be with her at this point. She could feel her cheeks grow warm in a familiar sense, although it was a different kind of warmth. Not of embarassment of any kind, but of true happiness and flattery from what he had said towards her. His hand was on top of hers, caressing it, soothing it, calming her in a way that she rarely had felt before. Nibbling on her lower lip, she looked up at him shyly, at somewhat of a loss for words, even though she knew exactly how she wanted to respond to such an inquiry. Lifting her free hand, she placed it on top of his, holding it with both now as she began to lightly run her nails across the back of it. Her eyes were there for the moment, but slowly, she allowed them to move upward to his own, gazing into them as she slowly began to smile.
"I am t-truly flattered by what you s-say, and I think I'm d-doing the right thing right now."
Her words left a lot of things unsaid afterwards, which wasn't necessarily what she wanted, but it's how it turned out. There were so many things running through her head, but Miyuki understood how she wanted this to end. And everyone be damned if she was going to let this slip out of her fingers. She knew she didn't really give him a true answer to his unasked question, but she assumed her next action would help it out a bit. With a boldness that she had not shown the entire night, she leaned forward out of her seat, gently placing her lips onto his in a light, featherlike kiss. Her eyes were closed at this point, allowing her to enjoy the moment thoroughly. All she could think about was how soft his lips were, and how they perfectly melded with her own. Her hands had slipped from his, one on his knee just to support her as she kept herself leaning towards him, and the other holding onto the back of the couch for the same reason.
