The Heart of Twilight: A legendary, accursed orb that drains the Light of all things nearby. Installing this chromatic into a weapon grants the following boons for the remainder of a fight once Illuminated, at the cost of 1 light point: when rolling a roll1 of 100, the user will gain a single Light Point. ((Must be the first roll1 of a given post)) when successfully parrying an attack that would inflict status damage, the weapon will gain that status effect in its original intensity on its next attack, in addition to its [status] parameter. the weapon will be capable of being granted five status effects, from monster weapons or any other method. The weapon will deal these effects randomly, based on the last digit of the character's roll1.

The Auric Lantern: A broken lantern, powered by a crystal that glows more powerfully in proximity to the Goldenwood. This item allows the user to roll 2 times for room selection when attempting to traverse the dungeon to the Goldenwood.

This new stat is a powerful and bizarre new form of light. Merely possessing this strange force causes the world around you to behave in curious ways. This stat is regained completely when your character normally refills their stats, and is used to fuel powerful new abilities!
(Aura effects can be as subtle as you like, but grow stronger the more powerful your Aura stat becomes. At a low level, your might simply warm the air around you. At a high Auric level, you might set fire to the earth upon which you walk. Auric effects do not affect your character, though. This contrasts with Light effects, which are represented by changes to your character model there is no abbreviation for Aura. Instead of "AP", the stat and its points are simply referred to as Aura)

Name: Shroud of Bakugami Type: headgear Description: Twin Paldrons that lock into Bakugami's Rage. The Right Paldron is adorned with spikes from the tusks of the Septuple Augmented Golden Gloomboar. It has one ring that faces completely outwards, then two stripes of spikes angles away from the wearer's head, and finally there is a middle stripe of spiked angled towards the wearer's head. the lines of spikes act as a blade catch so a sheathless blade can be shouldered safely. The left pauldron is adorned with no spikes, but the outer ring does bear a cloak of borealic light much like the others like it that covers the left arm of the wearer down to their left knee. if the user has no need of the cloak, they can dismiss it by violently flourishing it out of the user's way. the curtain of light then scatters into gleaming shards before the light reforms as a design on the left paldron of an outline of flames, using that same light. stats: +15% to all light arte rolls +15% bleed damage dealt
Name: Bakugami's Rage Type: medium upper Description: The Torso part of the Bakugami set appears on first glance to be just a Black leather jacket. This is mostly true, but with exceptions. The inner lining of the jacket is a blood red, with golden fur lining the chest area. The stitching is made of light which shifts in a borealic display, Freezing and brightening on the color red for 10 seconds before cycling colors again. On the back there is the face of a snarling boar seemingly made of fire with hellishly barbed tusks. the design is raised leather, and the trim of the emblem is made of the same color changing light as the stitching. damage mitigation: 100 as a piece, 200 as a set bleed resistance: 3 per attack | 6 per attack as a set upgrade: 0/44 Chroma: 1/1 restores 1 LP per 10 rounds in combat. 1 per 5 rounds as a set. This red lucent stone can be charged by dealing damage to an enemy. It is ready to fire after 10 points of damage have been dealt to the enemy. This stone may only hold 1 charge at a time. Its charge is lost if you leave combat, or if it is discharged using an arte. Alternately, you may charge this stone by sacrificing your attack and rolling a roll1 against zero. The resulting damage that you would have done charges the stone on a 1:1 basis.
This stone has a light effect (an outward effect) and an aura effect (an internal effect). The light effect deals damage to an enemy directly, but the aura effect can reduce an enemy's roll 1, 2, or 3.
This stone is removable, and can be replaced with any other lucent stone that you come across in your adventures.

Lucent for me The Lightcaster smiles as you offer her the talisman, charged with the motes of light you'd harvested. "Excellent! These will do nicely. The first things you'll need are a blank lucent stone and a lightforge." She places a colorless lucent stone into her lightforge and touched the talisman, pulling a trail of the motes of light that you'd harvested out of the stone embedded in the trinket. The Lightcaster aligns the lenses and crystals on the forge and allows the light to trickle out of her control and into the apparatus. The light shines like a laser as it passes through the machine before pouring into the stone, turning it from a transparent rock into a colored gem. She removes the stone from the forge and smiles. "The result of your labors: your very own lucent stone. This one is superior to the one I had loaned you. The power trapped in this stone can focus light into a powerful surge of energy, but it can't store energy for a very long time. Once you've gathered the energy, you'll need to use it or it will bleed out and be lost. You will learn to harvest energy in different ways, but this one will respond to energy that you cause to separate from your enemy by striking them with your Lightcasting abilities. You can use your own power to charge the stone, but that takes rather a bit of focus, and may not be the best option in battle.
This is not going to be the last lucent stone you ever own. As you grow in power, you will create more powerful stones, with new, fantastic abilities. The colors of light that you gather are dependent on the state of the thing that you are harvesting. The fire of combat creates red light, but other activities can create different colors, each with their own special properties.
Now that you know how to create a basic lucent stone, it's time for you to learn how to create a more special one. In rare instances, you can extract a [shard of light] from an opponent. These shards are a splinter of the creature's essence. If you have a shard, you can combine it with motes of light to create lucent stones with unique and subtle qualities. Come back to me when you've found one, and I'll show you how it works."
