Turn 9Mellow didn't stop, he stepped onto the loose sweater of the clone so that he fell with his face pressing against the floor again. Turn 10He didn't give time for the clone to stand up, he stole his frying pan and mercilessly hit it against the doppelganger's body. The big moves dragged his stamina away but Mellow knew if he didn't finish it quick, he would be the loser. That was the most unwanted thing the demon wanted it to happen. Turn 11Eventually, Mellow got tired but the moving of the frying pan didn't stop, it continued to make sound when it collided with the clone's body. The demon released all his grievances onto it, the humiliation and embarrassment seeing a version of him wearing such an ugly outfit, the grudge from forcing to join the stupid events as well as his rising desire to take a nap from the tiredness and pressure slowly built up. Turn 12It was unlucky for the demon that his violence resulted in the handle detached with the pan. "Eh?" Mellow was surprised by the dramatic drop of weight on his hand. Remained on his hand was the handle merely while the pan part had flown away through the momentum. Taking the advantage of him pausing, the clone turned around and kicked the tiny demon on his abdomen. The pain drove Mellow to roll away. Turn 13His luck hadn't been used up yet, where he rolled was the location the pan fell. He quickly grabbed it and flung it off like a disc, the disc swirled at high speed and cut the clone into half. Mellow sighed in relief as there was no blood or guts splashing out, instead black smokes were seen before they dissipated. He won! Even tired as hell, the boil climbed up the stairs as if he was tied with a heavy anchor and put the medal onto his neck. Then, he fell down and slept. Canon tried observing and mimicking her doppel's moves on her next attack, eager to try and learn her fighting style. Canon's attack fell pitifully short, and her doppel landed hers perfectly. Canon regained her equilibrium, grinning. She'd expected as much. Fighting was a much more intuitive experience for her. Taking the time to observe her opponent and actively think about her next move slowed her down. Ha! It was a grazing blow, and her doppel still landed her attack, but Canon felt she was starting to understand how her opponent moved! She grinned and span away. Much better! Despite her opponent's efforts to dodge her attacks, Canon still managed to sneak in several hits through her defenses. Her doppel grinned at Canon, acknowledging the improvement, before settling back into a ready position. ((Using Apothecary *Tier Two Tainted Fang*)) Time to switch it up! Canon readied her tail for the next attack, using her FEAR to concentrate a potent venom into her stinger. As the two whirled at one another, Canon feinted an attack from one direction, and plunged her stinger into her doppel from the opposite direction. Canon took some damage, but was elated that she'd connected. Of course, her doppel was still technically a Skark. While the venom had been quite potent, the doppel shook off its effects quickly. Well, she was too low on FEAR to try any more fancy attacks. Back to the basics. Canon swung back into action, trying to predict her doppel's movements. She was somewhat successful. Finally, a decent hit! Canon accepted her doppel's attack, and blocked all her attempts to dodge, bringing a knee up into her abdomen to great effect. The doppel rolled with the blow, somersaulting backwards to get some room. Canon pursued her, pressing her advantage while her doppel was winded. She still managed to recover in time to dodge most of Canon's onslaught, and even managed to land the same weak attack on her. But Canon caught her with a roundhouse slam of her leg, knocking her opponent to the side. Her doppel was close to dropping! Close, but not out of the fight yet! As Canon moved into finish her off, her doppel seemed to find a reservoir of energy from somewhere. Her movements picked up speed. Canon couldn't land a hit on her, and her doppel proved she could still fight back, landing the same hit on Canon. But they both knew it couldn't last. Her doppel managed to land another hit, but her movements were slowing down. Canon kept up her attack, determined to win, and finally, she landed the lightest of blows on her doppel. But it was enough. Her doppel stopped, looked at Canon, smiled, and disappeared in a poof of black smoke. Canon hesitated, watching as the smoke dispersed. She felt... both satisfied and sad to see such a brilliant sparring partner fall. She bowed to the empty air, honoring her departed foe, and then jogged to stair leading out of the arena. Ebele was so ready for this.
Battling was her strong point. She knew there was no way she would fall on her face here. She was better than everyone at battles by five thousand times! She was so good at battling that she could take breaks to show off her battling moves and prowess! This was where she would show those stupid Christmas creeple who was boss. They would understand her true strength as she fought against this terribly clothed mockery of herself!
Though she had to admit, even a terribly clothed self still looked like the best. Ebele flexed, though was slightly disappointed the copy did not flex with her. Well fine! She would just destroy it even more!
Screeching as a way to show her strength, Ebele gathered up electricity in her hands and blasted it forward at her copy. It seemed to be an exceptionally strong hit, and Ebele cackled aloud as the ugly sweatered Ebele was knocked back. "TAKE THAT!"
