Jūbantai-Taichō My Fears... Eriko stood there, watching Zenos' reaction to Kwang's slash. He took it but disappeared into a Garganta seconds after that strike. Why would he let him cut him? It did not make sense to her. However, she did not have much time to think about this as another Garganta ripped the sky open above them to send down Bala like rain. For once she was pleased about the terribly itchy Chorionic Membrane as the bullets hit, left burns but it was not enough to affect her adversely. They stinged a little though and she knew the durability of it was decreasing as time passed. This gave her a better opportunity than the others to concentrate on where Zenos would be coming from if he did return. She did not have to wait long.
He reemerged from yet another Garganta behind Kyo. How many of these things could Arrancar pull out, anyway? That had no importance at that moment though. Her eyes fell on Zenos to scrutinize the minor differences in his physical appearance. The wound was still there when he stepped out and the sight of it simply furthered her curiosity. Obviously, he could have dodged Kwang's blade but did he not? The answer was given to her promptly as strands of a crystalline material covered the wound effortlessly while leaving a minor scar. Something shifted in Eriko when she saw that. He can regenerate. That is what he was trying to tell them without even speaking a word. Every move that he makes has a purpose and if they do get him again, she had to verify that it was not part of his plan but theirs. His voice sent chills down her spine when he spoke those three words. No wonder that he would rather be injured and then show that he could heal himself. Talking seemed not to be one of his favourite of things.
She watched with forced calm as Kyo left her side in order to attack the bound Arrancar, thanks to Sakamoto. Kwang was not that far behind with his own offense which in her opinion was pretty weak. However, the results were still to be seen and her mind was already working on how she should add to this attack. Both of them had gone for close range so the best option for her was long range. It would be predictable but there should be a way to put a twist on it. The Taicho ran thirty feet away from the hopefully not entangled group of men. As soon as she hit that distance mark, her lips uttered softly, "Jixyuufuku," and stepped to her right only to reappear in that exact spot as if she had never left. The only difference was that there were five copies of her surrounding Kyo, Sakamoto, Kwang and Zenos with 30ft radius as she had formed a perfect circle.
Without losing a second of their time, Eriko casted a Kyakko silently. She knew that it would not be as effective as had she said the respective chant but it was too much to risk for Zenos to hear and see her next attack. She had never attempted to use so many Kido with this ability but it was a worth a shot if any of it hit Zenos at all. Stooping to the floor, Eriko raised herself off it by gather Reishi under her feet. Kyokko should take care of sound as well but she could not take any chances. The correct process by which to string multiple Kido spells together was lost on her but the inexperienced Captain figured that saying all of them unnaturally fast and almost at the same time should have the desired effect or so she hoped. She stood now and stretched her arms in front of her, aiming for Zenos. "Bakudo twelve, Fushibi; Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws, Hado thirty-three Sōkatsui!"
The way in which it was supposed to play out was that the net comes from the casting fingers of all the copies, entraps Zenos alone and end with quite the explosion as she had put more of her reiatsu behind the full incantation for the Blue Fire Crash, which had been linked to the net. Hopefully, the other Shinigami had managed to leave before the Sōkatsui went off as in backing off Zenos once they had made their own attempts. Once the combo had left her though, the clones dissipated as well as the effects of the Kyokko. She breathed and drew her sword, running towards Zenos this time but stopped till there was ten feet left. Her sword was lowered as she stood there to see how the Arrancar had fared. She knew that it might not have worked and that on top of that, she might have injured her fellow Shinigami. I doubt that you're dead though. xxx ...I would rather be without you.

ɪςϦɪЪɑȵȶɑɪ ϨɑȵʂϵӃɪβʆɑʗӃ☆Ϩȶɑɽ 『 A large vein erected itself on his forehead after Zenos cast Black Star's Shurkien to the side like it was some toy. "b*****d~~~!" He gritted his teeth and shook his fist. His brows twitched with pure malice from the fact that Zenos, ignored him like the attack never happened. The arrancar went on the move now, he appeared in front of all of the other Shinigami he'd attacked previously. It appeared as if all of the Lieutenant's and Captain Eriko was attacked at once, but Black Star quickly noticed; he noticed that Kyo's opposition had more movements to his assailant. Black Star's glare was astute. He watched Kyo's block turned against him as Zenos attack his abdomen. The air that escaped his lungs was a sheer noise that Black Star dreaded to hear coming from an ally.
His eyes widened as he released his Shikai. He was fascinated, slightly. But the fact of the matter was, Kyo was stealing the spot light. It seemed that Black Star was going to let him get by with it; this time. This opponent needed to be fought with brains and brawns. And being reckless would end in worse then a cut. Just like Eirko just showed to his vision. Though she wasn't being reckless nor foolish, just Zenos was more cunning that time.
He watched on from the side lines like some child as the other Shinigami made their moves on him. Zenos was trapped by Tadashi's Zanpakuto abilities. Black Star thought this would be the perfect opportunity to take hold of the spot light again. But Kyoshiro took it by advancing with melee attacks. Kwang followed it with Kidō. Just as he took one step forward, Eirko's next move unraveled. She ran thirty feet away from the Arrancar, he saw her mouth open, but he couldn't make out what she had said. Another her reappeared where she had previously been. But that wasn't all, there was more then just that; a encircle of five Eirko's surrounded Zenos and the others.
Black Star watched as she released a chain of Kidō spells. The net that spread out around Zenos and caused an epic explosion was monumental to him. He could feel the heat from where he was standing. "All right! Time to let the big guns out!" Black Star hollered as he took Tsubaki's Kusarigami form into both hands. Swinging the left one in a counter-clockwise direction. The sound from the spinning blade was soft, and sounded like a leaf falling to the ground. Black Star was ticked about Zenos ignoring him. And he would make him regret that. With the scythe still spinning to his left, Black Star slowly started walking with it; it appeared as though it was second nature to him. He released the scythe from his left hand and took the one in his right to swing the entire chain down to the scythe. He held his hand into a hand seal and formed three Shurikens that gracefully fell toward the ground. With lightning fast reflexes -and still swinging his weapon above his head- he grabbed each Shuriken and threw it straight into the cloud of smoke where he last saw Zenos. His aim was dead on as the silently flew into the cloud. He stopped swinging his second Scythe and blindly caught it once more, showing skills of a well deserved wielder.

As though he were an unmovable wall, Zenos failed to budge as Kyo struck three different times, and as though he hadn't even touched him, Zenos felt no pain towards the strikes, which should have been at least enough to cause him discomfort. Kwang-Sun appeared shortly afterward, right behind Kyo and brandishing a Kidō, a Byakurai, aiming it at both Zenos and Kyo who apparently moved out of the way before it was fired. Zenos met it head on, again, refusing to budge as the Byakurai struck his left breast, leaving a small burn instead of piercing his body. After looking down at the failed attempt to end his life, Zenos flicked his blank gaze to Kwang-Sun and then slowly turned his gaze to follow Eriko who was now invisible, though the way his eyes followed her, one might gather that he could tell where she was anyway. Sucking in a breath like he knew what was coming, he closed his lips tightly and met the explosion head on without show of fear.
Within the cloud of dust, Zenos felt via Pesquisa that Black Star had began to move. Pinning him as a one trick pony, he accurately deduced that another Shuriken would be coming his way, if not more. "Πετρώστε, Αρχαία Γοργούς." A sudden Reiatsu, one that showed he was deserving of being an upper-tier Sephira, was cast upon the area as he entered his Resurrección form and returned to his true self within the cloud of dust. It was an odd Reiatsu; aside from feeling like both Shinigami and hollow, and being quite apparent, it rained down from the sky in the form of tiny pebbles. Just as the Shuriken came at him, Zenos lifted his hand and placed his index finger in the first's path, causing the tip of his finger to meet with one of the blades as it bore down upon him. There came a horrible crunching sound as the Shuriken's blade collapsed against the sudden density of Zenos' body. The blade folded in on itself many times over as the Shuriken came to a complete stop, making it resemble an accordion or a folded paper fan. The other two Shuriken met the same fate, although they struck his waist and leg, then fell to the ground.
Outside of the cloud at Black Star's feet, the ground was turned into sand instantly, and quickly and silently would wrap itself around his ankles to anchor him to the ground. Within the dust, a long metal spear made of Ausformed steel materialized in his left hand as he turned to face Black Star, despite not being able to see him. The spear was three feet long, cylindrical though not perfectly smooth, and tapered on both ends, and had an ultimate tensile strength of 2930 psi and a melting point of 2800 °F, making it fairly hard to destroy. Flicking his wrist as the sand would grab him and not a second later, he threw the spear with deadly accuracy and speed, aiming the point at Black Star's navel so that it would impale him right at that area.
As the dust settled, if one were to watch carefully enough, they would see that a greyish tinge was receding from most of the right side of his body, including his hip and hand. Once the dust was gone, one would notice several things about him. First being that he no longer had any damage on his person, the second being that the grey streak on his back was gone, and the third was that he was just now tossing the useless Shuriken to the side, straight at Kyo. The look on his face conveyed disappointment, a rare deviation from his usual blank stare, and if he didn't object so much to conversation, he would have told them how pathetic that attempt was. The Byakurai for starters, was never going to pierce even the weakest of Hierro, and to use it was just fruitless. The punches from Kyo, for another, were utterly useless against someone who has already shown the strength to be able to pierce with their bare hands. The Kidō, while well attempted, was also useless against him since he had already displayed the ability to heal himself. And finally, to Black Star, he would have mentioned that if the Shuriken didn't work the first time, they wouldn't work the second time. At least, this was what was running through his head at the moment.
Suddenly Zenos was in front of Eriko, his Sonido now surpassing a Captain's Shunpo and creating the illusion of one afterimage where he had started, and a second in the exact middle of where he was now and where he had been. Cocking his flattened hand back in the same manner he had done before when he was to drive it through the opponent's heart, he snapped it forward and, at the last second, blew a gas out of his mouth that had the power to turn whatever it hit into stone. The stab was no more than a feint, yet it was still deadly if not dealt with properly. ...and thus the world is petrified. ►Translations◄ετρώστε, Αρχαία Γοργούς - Petrify, Ancient Gorgon

Tadashi's eyes widened as Zenos took every attack aimed at him as if they were all just nothing. Lieutenants were second to only Captain level Shinigami, and the arrancar was shaking off their attacks (as well as even Eriko's) as if it was all nothing. Kage Ketsugo was still secure, which was actually a bit insulting because Zenos didn't even need to move to demonstrate his superiority.
Suddenly, right before Black Star's shurikens were diverted, a dense reiatsu suddenly exploded onto the battlefield from Zenos. It was unique, and on top of that it was clearly a demonstration for all, as if to give everyone a reason to despair. Kage Ketsugo was annihilated as a result, breaking off bit by bit under the pressure. Tadashi's surprise turned into horror - a Captain would have trouble breaking Tenma's hold so early, and even as the ability steadily wore down it was hard to break.
The logic in his battle state was screaming to call a retreat, but his heart was already set on fighting to the death. He felt Tenma get a bit heavier - apparently the zanpakuto didn't like that. It wouldn't even matter if it was night and Tadashi's full power was awakened, and the zanpakuto knew it. It was very unfortunate for Tadashi that his blade tended to act as a controlling partner that always disagreed.
Focusing on the battle once more, he saw one of Black Star's crippled shuriken being tossed at Kyo, and then immediately after that an attack on Eriko. There was little he could do without any Kido and with a zanpakuto that probably couldn't break through the arrancar's hierro. Kage Ketsugo wouldn't work either...but it would certainly stall the arrancar if it hit, at least for a few seconds. Perhaps the arrancar wouldn't even expect a repeat performance of the failure of an attack.
Deciding to take action on this, Tadashi flash-stepped a bit forward and used Kage Ketsugo as soon as Zenos was finished with his attack. He was aware he was probably going to be attacked next for his frail attempt at aiding his comrades, but all he could do was cast an Enkosen around him (which was one of the defensive bakudo he could do in his current state) and hope it would enable him to live against such an assault.

♪ Have you ever encountered such a beautiful melody? ♪ ═══════════════════════╕ As he finished his Three Kings combo, Kyo sensed the presence of Kwang behind him. Not wanting to get caught in the crossfire, right after he landed the downward strike he planted a hand on Zenos' shoulder then flipped over him and jumped high into the air while turning to see if he'd done any damage and to see what Kwang was planning to do. He was a disappointed to see that they'd both done next to nothing to the Arrancar as he suspended himself momentarily on a platform of Reishi particles. He was deciding how to proceed when he noticed Eriko setting up a Kido combination attack. He watched from his vantage point as she spread a net over Zenos, then promptly detonated it with another Kido spell. Kyo anxiously watched and waited for the dust to settle.
Then, he felt it. The sudden increase in Reiatsu that hit him like an avalanche of boulders. He was more sure now that ever that his nightmare had been a premonition as the Reiatsu felt the same only with the added effect of it raining down on them as pebbles. He looked at the cloud and a chill ran down his spine. What demon has been unleashed upon us? He was already a tough opponent to begin with and now he's even stronger, Kyo thought as he heard multiple sounds of what seemed to be crunching metal rise from within the cloud. His lack of concentration caused his Reishi platform to disperse and he began to drift back to the ground as the dust cloud slowly began to settle. At first he could only see Zenos' head. Then more and more of the Arrancar's body began to seemingly rise from the falling dust cloud. When it got below his hand, it was then Kyo noticed that Zenos was holding something. Then, in a flash, it was flying at him. BLOCK IT! his mind screamed but his body wasn't fast enough. He felt a sudden pressure in his abdomen then a burning pain consumed his mind as one of the undamaged blades sank deep into his midsection just below his ribs. Only the fact that Zenos had damaged one of the blades, keeping the shuriken from spinning kept Kyo from being sliced in half. He screamed out in pain then dropped to the ground, bouncing once as he hit. He slowly moved his hands to the shuriken and grabbed hold of it. His screams once again echoed across the battlefield as he pulled the blade out of his body and dropped it to the ground next to him. "B...b*****d..." Kyo struggled to say as he rolled over from his back to his side. He was struggling to breath as his diaphragm had been cut when he was pierced and he could taste blood and bile indicating his stomach was hit as well. He coughed, spraying blood across the ground as he tried to force his body back on it's feet to no avail.
Through his blurred vision he could still make out Zenos standing there as calm as ever. Kyo's eyes focused on Zenos' face, which was now showing a different expression from before. It was an expression Kyo had become all too familiar with in his time with his mother and father. It was a look of disappointment. We're not putting up as much of a fight as he wanted, huh? Then Kyo's vision began to fade. He looked down and saw a large pool of blood next to him that was growing larger by the second as more poured from the gaping wound in his body. Hmph...is this where my story ends? And I don't even have anything cool to say. With that Kyo rolled over onto his back and passed out.

A few beads of sweat were visible as he thought his shuriken's had been made to do nothing once more. He was only a third seat, and feeling this kind of reiatsu made him stay in place. Thoughts galloped through his mind. 'Move, Black Star!!' A thought suddenly smashed into his brain. With Kusarigama in hand, the chains rattled as his center of gravity had shifted to unevenness. His ankles had became bound, he looked to see sand, he instantly deduced Zenos' power being something of ground. Black Star's gazed shifted to the cloud of dust. Common sense kicked in; it was telling him: you're trapped in sand, and you're about to get pain injected into you. Making a hand seal, a burst of smoke came from where Black Star was, he combined Speed Star and Dummy Star, using Speed Star to work his way out of the sand. He had thrown Tsubaki backwards and was pulling himself out of the anchors. He freed himself and hide himself from sight behind Dummy Star, but not directly behind. The Dummy Star was entangled visibly as the smoke had cleared. It's face showed desperateness as a spear was thrown of out the dust cloud, piercing the Dummy Star through the abdomen. Instantly, the sand would fall as the Dummy Star turned into leafs. Black Star had been behind Dummy Star after it was struck with a spear. A weird feeling cringed in his stomach as he watched his image be attacked.
Black Star, had managed to break free of the sandy anchors just in the knick of time. He felt faint after escaping death. But the feeling of faint soon turned into remorse as he saw Kyo, fall to the ground. A shuriken, his shuriken, had been the culprit. A deep growl escaped Black Star as he gritted his teeth with anger toward himself and Zenos. The blood he saw from Kyoshiro made him want to lash out at Zenos with malice intent. "Black☆Star, don't rush into this!" Tsubaki hollered in the back of his mind. He nodded as he bit his bottom lip and tightened his grip on Tsubaki. Tadashi had beat Black Star to the punch of attacking Zenos. Black Star looked toward Kyo again, instantly within a few seconds he had shunpo'd to him and picked the Lieutenant up easily. With another Flash Step, he had appeared beside Kwang-Sun and was setting him down flat on his back with care. "You're yonbantai, right? Then do your job and heal him." He voice had authority to it as he stood up from laying Kyo down. Black Star was demanding Kwang-Sun's abilities, and for Kwang-Sun's best interest, he'd best subject to Black Star demands. Black Star used Speed Star to lay Tsubaki's Kusarigami down around the three of them. He stood in the middle of the make-shift star as he would use it to trap Zenos if he tried to attack the three of them. He had closed his eyes and made a hand seal with his free hand. He remember that Zenos could hide his Reiatsu and Reiryoku. So using Reiraku would be rendered useless. He thought he'd wing it if he came down to it.

Jūbantai-Taichō My Fears... Eriko's attention was stolen suddenly by Black Star's shout. What was he going to do now? Did he not see that Zenos' lack of interest was a good thing for his chance of survival? Obviously not, she thought to herself as he tried using Shurikens for a second time. This was not going to end well. Eriko tried to move towards them at this point but was stopped in her tracks by the change in the atmosphere, his reiatsu was raining down on them to the point that it had formed pebbles. With all of the sand, there was not much that she could see but her hearing allowed her a fair idea of what was happening. A shuriken had been crushed while another two just stopped before falling to the floor. His skin was harder now, she could tell and raining reiatsu that came like pebbles. Damn it, you're aligned with the Earth. Intrigued, she placed Cho against her shoulder and kept her senses sensitive to any changes. A spear sprang out of it in Black Star's direction but the Sanseki managed to escape it which was impressive to say the least.
Not wanting to be distracted from Zenos for too long, Eriko turned her head in time to see the two afterimages and he was in front of her again. The hand attack was enough to make her stoop down like she had the last time and avoiding his true attack by mistake yet again. She raised to her feet. He was in his released state, Resurrección. Fighting him in Shikai would be pointless from this point on and with the others more or less safe, there was no reason for her to go into Bankai except that she had not done it outside of her Inner World before then. However, that was not a good enough of a reason. Eriko stood tall and moved her sword hand to extend at her side. "Bankai, Haru Cho." Effortlessly, Eriko flipped so that her feet were on the underside of the blade while the respective light green barrier covered her in the shape of her sphere with a fifteen foot diameter so that it would be barely touching Zenos. Her skin falls off, leaving a golden body bag for the lack of better terminology. Fortunately, this unconcious state did not last that long as within minutes, the oversized pouch was already wiggling with movement.
Eriko tore the bag from the inside, pulling herself out at a measured pace while climbing up the side to grab the hilt of the newly formed Zanpakuto. Once she was outside of it completely, the dried skin as well as the momentary barrier disappeared completely. However, she had expected this and moved her wings a little for comfort. All of the changes had come familiar to her. This took out that awkward stage of surprise for her, unlike the others probably. "Tsubasa Sentou Ki, Kafun Sutoraiku," whispered the young woman immediately when her feet touched the ground. The air shifted. It became tremendously windy at the base of that Hill and all of that power was homing in on her to wrap itself around her body in all possible ways and succumb to her will for control. As it billowed around her, almost roaring, Eriko placed her green katana behind her before doing the handseal for the second Bankai ability in the direction of Zenos. Once this was completed, a gust of air shot out at him from her palms with enough power to blow off one his limbs if he was not careful while laced with great amounts of sleep-inducing pollen. As the last bit of it left her, Eriko shot up into the sky, repressed the wind at her whim and went after Zenos again with a punch aimed at his neck, strands of the wind covering her first in an effort to support the force of the oncoming strike. xxx ...I would rather be without you.

Taking note that Eriko had dodged both of his attacks and was now in what appeared to be a cocoon, he saw no reason to hurt her at the moment, so instead focused his attention on Tadashi, who was now attempting the same thing he had used against him earlier. Since Zenos had seen it and been affected by it once, he was already aware how to mess it up. Just as Tadashi moved, a grey-colored light emanated from Zenos' body and suddenly rushed into the ground, turning up no results. As the whip came at him, he gracefully leaned back to let the whip pass over him, then fluidly moved to the left as it would began to retract on Tadashi's orders. Before it could do so, however, Zenos reached to grab it mid-air, and proceeded to overload it with Reiryoku to negate its binding effects. As such, the effects were lessened to the extent that he proceeded to break out of the rest of the binding through sheer force of will, and then tug on the whip to pull Tadashi towards him, and then swung it to throw him inside Black Star's Trap Star, dropping Tadashi on the other Shinigami hard.
After pulling his dagger out of his back pocket, he gripped the weapon loosely, and then flicked the weapon at the ground just outside the Trap Star's reach. Once the dagger was embedded in the ground, the ground hardened over, turning to stone in fractions of a second. Lifting his right hand, he extended his pointer finger towards the group of Shinigami and the light of a Gran Rey Cero began to charge at the tip of it. It began to spread, decompressing quickly as Zenos prepared to release it. It wasn't actually a Gran Rey Cero, but rather his own special Cero - Σημείο μηδέν, however the initial light allowed for no difference to be seen. Zenos then flicked his finger upward, the Reiryoku vanished and in the same second, an even larger and quicker dull-grey Cero erupted from the ground below the feet of those situated within the Trap Star, engulfing them in its spread. The ground heaved with the Cero, and stone slabs mingled with the cero. In other words, the Cero in question picked up the slabs and threw them at the Shinigami even while blasting them with the normal power of the super-potent Ground Zero.
Ears twitching at the sound of Eriko moving within the cocoon, Zenos' gaze darted towards her and followed her for the moment. The direction of the air changed, and Zenos took note of the oncoming gust of air by turning his right side towards it, and gathering the density of Δέρμα τιτανίου on that side to block the gust with ease. Something else hit him, mixed in with the air that suddenly made him feel sleepy. A sleeping powder was all he could think of, and upon learning this, he simply decided to go to sleep anyway. Shutting his eyes and letting his brain enter sleep mode, he felt his other senses spring to life as they normally. Zenos was a peculiar sleeper, and had long since developed a method for hearing, speaking and reacting while in this state.
Sensing Eriko's oncoming punch from behind, he hardened his neck to the normal density of his Δέρμα τιτανίου, and allowed her to strike the dense metal so that she may cause more harm to herself than him. He jolted forward a few inches, but otherwise remained upright. Normally he wouldn't have budged, but because he was asleep, he didn't have full control over his body like he would normally. The second she struck, two of his metal spears materialized in the air behind her wings, one for each wing, then flew forward in order to skewer her wings and either cause her pain, or take away her ability to fly. Having already taken into account the wind that she seemed to be able to generate, he remained without worry as he knew that his spears, which were designed to be barrier breakers and could turn a Danku into a slice of Swiss cheese. He had little worry that they could fly through the wind uninterrupted, but on the alternative side, he prepared himself in the small chance they did not. ...and thus the world is petrified. ►Translations◄Σημείο μηδέν - Tierra Cero - Ground Zero Δέρμα τιτανίου - Titanium Skin

Tadashi knew the attack had gone badly wrong after Zenos had only partially destroyed Kage Ketsugo and made a motion to grab it. There was no time to sever Kage Ketsugo's connection, so he felt himself being led effortlessly through the air by Zenos's tugging of the shadow whip. However, he got his bearings together quick enough to sever the connection just as Zenos made a tossing motion with his end of the whip, presumably to where the other Shinigami had unwisely grouped together. Tadashi felt himself being forced in the direction of the Trap Star, but thankfully that was when Kage Ketsugo cut out. He was able to stop the almost completely avoided motion of Zenos's pull and resume air walking for a moment, watching with some muted frustration as Zenos aimed a Cero at the Trap Star the other Shinigami were, the very same location he would have been if not for his quick thinking.
Kage Ketsugo was already an odd ability on its own, what with its potent paralyzation capability, long range, and versatility. It could act as a hookshot with the anchor being the opponent, as well, which could act as a perfect transition into using Ketsueki Sakushi when the opponent was binded. On top of that, Tadashi held complete control over how to sever the whip, whether it be in the center or even near the enemy. The drawback was that it required quick thinking and a bit of time.
Deciding he could do nothing for Black Star's group, he looked to Eriko, who was in what had to be her Bankai form, and watched the exchange between Eriko and Zenos. Tadashi decided that the moment Eriko and Zenos broke away from each other (hopefully), he'd regroup with the Captain.

501 Nąηąsнι Jūichibantai Fukutaichō Nanashi didn't arrive fast enough to move the three caught up in the Tierra Cero, but he was close enough to do something about it. "Taishaku Kaiten Sōshinome." Nearly the second he faded into sight a foot off the ground and dropped onto his right and then left foot, his Bankai's space opened up and expanded outwards to wrap itself around all those present. Once both of his feet were planted firmly on the ground, he released his weapon, then made fists, then tapped them together and began to circle his hands around each other, designating Kwang-Sun, Kyo, and Black Star as his three biological targets, and then the stone slabs and the metal spears as his inanimate targets.
Grinning, he began making several motion with hands, each different from the last. "Mugen Shinkūidō." First the three Shinigami vanished with the resounding pop of a bubble followed by the rush of air that was swallowed up by the Cero's energy, then they appeared directly behind him, which was the safest place for the moment. He had managed to remove them before they had been harmed by the stone slabs, but was unable to prevent them from being hit by the Cero itself since he was no mind reader and was late to boot. Afterward, the stone slabs that were steadily rising and the metal spears that were now going towards Eriko all vanished with the same sound as the Cero died out. Several feet in front of him, the stone slabs all appeared stacked onto top of each other, forming a pile that was around ten feet tall.
The fact that was not evident was that he had not teleported each slab on top of the one under it, but had actually teleported them so that their contained matter to overlap each other, fusing them together at the top and the bottom save the topmost and bottommost slabs for obvious reasons. It was the equivalent of him teleporting himself inside a wall and fusing his matter with the wall's matter. In addition to the large slab of stone he had created, he had teleported both spears into the bottom of the pile so that the pile now had two protrusions at the bottom. Mere seconds after he had teleported the slabs in front of him, he designated the whole pile, then caused it to vanish and reappear at the top of his space, letting it drop towards the ground with significant force, but teleporting it way seconds before it would strike the ground. It would then reappear in front of Zenos, now lying just off the ground at an angle parallel to it, and using it's already gained velocity to bypass gravity for a brief second to continue at this angle and stab the spears into his chest and abdomen. At the present moment, he had no words for these people, and it was actually odd that he chose to save them considering their obvious negative feelings for him. ...Ara?___

Jūbantai-Taichō My Fears... Eriko winced as her folded fist made contact with the back of Zenos' neck. Fortunately, the swirling winds that had been there to enforce the strike managed to protect her knuckles from splitting on contact but still stung. Eriko fluttered away to put some space between them. He had not even bothered to move yet again. However, this time it seemed like he could not if he wanted to which meant that her pollen had worked at least. During this minor break, she became slightly more aware of her surroundings especially the welfare of the other ranked officers. Apparently, Zenos had sent a Cero at them but from beneath their feet.
How could she help them? The question did not get a chance to bother her for long as Nanashi returned to the battlefield. As much as she would have wanted to help them, the obvious truth was that the young Fukutaicho was closer and had a plan of action already for the situation so she watched it out, keeping Zenos in her peripheral vision. She realized quickly that he worked at an amazing speed to the point that whatever it was that he was doing with the stone slabs was a bit incomprehensible to her. The lack of insight into how his mind was working at the moment made her concentrate even more but nothing clicked definitely until the stone structure disappeared only to reappear a few feet away from her, covering a seemingly dormant Zenos in the process. From the placement of the unknown poles, one could estimate that Zenos would be pierced at two vital areas of his person. With that out of the way though, the most sensible thing that came to her mind was thanking the fellow Shinigami. Lazily, Eriko dashed towards them and landed with a little hop to the floor.
"Hi, I'm Akiyama Eriko, Jubantai-Taicho," she said easily, putting out her hand to shake that of the boy. "I just wanted to thank you for coming when you did. You saved them and assisted me." She knew that she was stretching the truth a bit but honestly, it pissed her off that she had not been able to take of this by herself. However, that did not tarnish the genuinity of her gratitude towards him. It meant simply that it was back to the training grounds for her. For fear that this stream of thought might have showed itself on her face, Eriko widened her grin but did not dismiss her Bankai as yet in case Nanashi had not stopped the strange Arrancar completely. She was already sidestepping him to check out the others. xxx ...I would rather be without you.

Kwang-Sun 4th Division Lieutenant A rose is as sweet as its counter part. Its beauty is unmatched. And its pain is nothing else but legendary. Kwang was shocked that his attack did utterly nothing to Zenos. What kinda Arrancar is this guy? What position does he hold in there ranks? Kwang couldn't believe that his attack was so weak compared to Zenos's power. It was almost scary. A drop of sweat rolled down his cheek as he stood like he was frozen. He didn't know what to do at that moment. Was waiting for death the only thing he could do at this point. Dying wasn't an option because he was the only one who could help heal the others if they were badly injured. With that thought in mind Kwang came back into reality and saw the blank stare that Zenos gave Kwang. Kwang didn't like the glare one bit. He felt that Zenos was insulting him with that stare like he couldn't believe how weak that attack was. It also sent a chill up Kwang's spin. Kwang jumped back far away from Zenos avoiding the explosion that occurred a few seconds later after Kwang jumped back. When Kwang body hit the ground, he slide on one knee back a couple of more feet. He forced himself to stop by forcing his right hand to the ground. Wehn he finally stopped Kwang looked up and saw all what was going on on the battle field. Though Black star was incompetent and hard headed he did like the fact that he was brave attacking Zenos like he was. While Kwang saw the battle unfold between the Arrancar and the other Shinigami, his mind wandered more and more about how the other Captains were doing and that they werent in the same pickle they were in. Even though they were some of the strongest the Soul Society had to offer, if they were out numbered by Arrancars and also had to still fight the Exaequares they probably wouldn't stand a winning chance.
While being trapped in the thoughts swirling around in his head, Kwang didn't notice that Kyo had been injured badly. So, when Black star was yelling at him, which brought him back into reality, He was puzzled. Kwang finally saw all the blood that kyo had lost and acted quickly. He found the part on Kyo's that had been leaving this almost puddle of blood on the ground. Kwang closed his eyes and used the same technique that he used on Eriko's friend. Chiyudō #28: Shōshaku Kwang finger was lite by a flame. With that flame he stuck his finger on the stab wound and the wound closed within a few minutes. I hope you feel better soon Kyo. I'm sorry if you felt any pain from the technique i used. Kwang smiled at Kyo and knew that when he came to he would feel alot better. Kwang looked at Black star and smiled at him. Thanks for telling me about this the way you did. Just to let you know thats the last time i thank you. Kwang jumped into a tree and watched the fight from as close as possible with getting in the way.

♪ Have you ever encountered such a beautiful melody? ♪ ═══════════════════════╕Kyo opened his eyes to a gray sky filled with clouds that were leaving trails of slowly drifting snowflakes in their wake. He looked around to see that he was laying on a vast frozen lake surrounded by a forest of evergreens that were blanketed with a generous dusting of snow. He already knew where he was when he stood up. It was his inner world. He had been here a few times before, most notably when he first made contact with Zetsumeireiki. "How did I get here?" Kyo said as he looked around once he was on his feet. The lake was eerily quiet compared to whenever he'd come before. Normally Rei's spirit would be playing the violin waiting for him, but this time it wasn't so. He was a bit unsettled by this fact. "She must be at the lake house," Kyo said as he walked towards a house that sat atop a small island, barely large enough to hold the house and dock that were on it, in the middle of the lake. As Kyo made his to the house he noticed something else that unsettled him even more than the lack of Rei's violin playing. There were large cracks in the ice. Not once before had there been cracks in the ice. It was always a seamless sheet that stretched from bank to bank. "I need to find Zetsumeireiki as soon as possible," he said as the lake house grew closer. A few moments later and he was climbing the steps that led up to the porch of the house. He searched inside but his Zanpakuto's spirit was nowhere to be found. Then, as he was about to check the kitchen he saw her through a window sitting on the end of the dock. "So that's where she's been hiding." Kyo went back outside then circled around and walked out onto the dock to meet her.
"Hey, Ro-ro," Zetsumeireiki said solemnly as he walked up.
"You know I hate that nickname," Kyo replied calmly, as he looked out over the lake. With the slight elevation increase of being on the dock and being in the middle of the lake he could see the extent of the cracking. There were large fissures in the ice all over the lake and they seemed to be silently spreading. There was even water bubbling up in places now. "What's going on? Why is the ice cracking?"
"Because you're dying. I pulled you here so you wouldn't die of shock. You're in a coma right now so you won't be able to feel any pain from the outside world, but you're still bleeding out. There's nothing I can do about that. The ice is going to crack and melt until it's all gone then you'll..." she trailed off as she looked down at the lake.
Kyo sat down next to her and sighed. "Well, you at least gave me some time. Maybe someone out there will rescue me. Though if I were them I probably wouldn't bother. Trying to save a dying comrade in the middle of a fight is a good way to end up dead yourself." He opened his hand and let a snowflake fall into it and watch as it slowly melted. "Guess I wasn't ready to be a lieutenant yet after all, huh? Maybe I'll resign my position...if I survive that is..." Kyo said distantly as he watch the cracks continue to spread.
"You're an idiot, Ro-ro. It's obvious that guy is just in a different league. It has nothing to do with you being a failure. Even a captain would have a tough time against a character like that. So don't beat up on yourself unnecessarily. Just get stronger so you don't end up being a liability next time. It's as simple as that," Zetsumeireiki replied after punching Kyo in the arm.
Kyo smiled a bit. Her words had comforted him. "Didn't I tell you not to call me by that name?" he said and thumped the side of her head then they quietly continued to watch the ice crack as Kyo inched closer and closer to death. "Hmm...the cracks aren't spreading as fast anymore."
"Someone might have healed you. Seems like they slowed the bleeding but you're probably still bleeding internally." They sat quietly for a moment then Zetsumeireiki let out a sigh and stood up. "Why are we sitting here being all gloomy for? How about I play a song?" With that Zetsumeireiki fashioned a violin from ice and began to play while Kyo watched the cracks that represented his waning life force continue to slowly spread.╙─────────────────────── ♫Enjoy it, for surely it is the last thing you will ever hear. ♫

xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx【 SUZUME CHIYOKO 】 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxLoneliness hit me suddenly, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxbut it’s only t h e n that I realized, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxafter all that I have ever DREAMED of, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI really don’t like F I G H T I N G ✿✿✿ Suzume’s lithe form flittered into the area, coming out of a shunpo and arriving on the top of Sōkyoku Hill. There, she did nothing, merely watching and scanning the area for any signs of a threat. They had felt a massive Reiatsu having been released before, and there had to be some sort of reason for this. Finally, her keen eyes pinpointed the source, since he was the only odd one out and the one who had not been there before. Who was he? She was calling that…person a he for the meantime, as he seemed like one, but then again, appearances could always be deceiving. Spotting Nanashi, she was about to call to him, pausing slightly as she remembered the fact that for now and for her purposes, he didn’t have a name. It was then that she noticed there was an unconscious Shinigami on the floor. She remembered him, the one who had yelled out something when he had appeared. The Shinigami were having some problems, it seemed, but then again, that was to be expected of the owner of that large Reiatsu. One Captain and multiple Lieutenants wasn’t enough to handle this…person and this said a lot about him.
Using shunpo again, she appeared next to the injured Shinigami. There was no point in interfering with the battle at this moment in time, and she wanted to check to see whether this guy was dead. Putting her head to his chest and checking his pulse, she deduced the fact that he seemed to be shallowly breathing and barely alive. Her sister was not around, most likely not having returned yet, so he’d have to wait. She didn’t know too much about wounds, but it would still be best if he was moved from where he could accidentally get injured again in the battle. Carefully sliding her hands under his body, she gingerly lifted him, shunpo’ing again to the top of Sōkyoku Hill. She laid his body there, taking extreme caution to not jolt him too much. He didn’t seem conscious at the moment, but should she wake him? She had heard about people going into shock and slipping away, but the only problem was that the pain might be too much for him. Then again, if he drifted off into death, that was not really good either. Grinding her teeth together in frustration, she quickly tossed up between them. If she couldn’t wake him after she tried for a few minutes, she’d better take him to the hospital, where hopefully, the healers would be able to prolong his life until help came. Waving her hands in front of his face, she clicked her fingers several times, saying softly, “Come on…come on…you alive there? Give me a response or something…”

ɪςϦɪЪɑȵȶɑɪ ϨɑȵʂϵӃɪβʆɑʗӃ☆Ϩȶɑɽ 『 Black Star had opened his eyes to see Tadashi get thrown like a rag doll but stop himself from crashing into them. At the time, he looked to see Zenos charging a Cero blast. He had no time to cancel the Trap Star and shift it into a Shield Star, when Zenos released it. He flicked his wrist up which brought a dull colored Cero crushing into them from below. Black Star raised his Reiatsu and covered his upper body with his arms.
The noise of a bubble popping brought the hellish pain away from him. He pulled his arms down to see that he had landed behind Nanashi. "N-Nanashi... Thanks." He spoke with small movement from his mouth. He had some gashes on him from the Cero, nothing he couldn't ignore for the time being. He watched as Nanashi piled the stone slaps on top of each other forced them teleported them over top of Zenos, intended to crush his body. The added spikes was a nice touch, so thought Black Star momentarily. He looked to see Kwang-sun healing Kyo like he had demanded. A smirk arose across his visible lips as he had complied. "That's right! Me, Black Star, has saved a fellow comrade out of the sheer fact of being such a big star! HYA!" Black Star added a fist pump with Tsubaki being held in his right hand. "It's hard bein' such a big star when you gotta baby sit. HAYAYAAHAHA" He laughed in the most inappropriate time and place. Black Star looked away from Kwang-sun leaped into a tree. Black Star's attention changed to Suzume when she shuno'ed next to Kyo and was lifting him up after checking his vitals; he watched as she moved to the top of the hill now. Black Star was still in remorse for his mistake, so he would make it up to Kyo somehow. "Jūbantai-Taichō, Jūichibantai-Fukutaichō, Tada-whatever... how are we going to kill this creep, or at least make him leave with some serious pain, and maybe a missing limb or two?" Black Star's voice held a serious tone, he wanted to make up for his previous mistake, but not admit to actually making a mistake. He held both scythes in both hands with the chain trailing down to the ground and then trailing back up and around his body.
