If that dress is your own idea, I'd say you have some sweet design skills even as they are. lol
As far as anatomy goes, keeping the angles of the face flat and sharp as you have them here is fine, but if you haven't, you might wanna try playing with natural-ish styles, too, to see if you like them. But no matter what style you're drawing in, make sure the smallest part of the waist isn't thinner than the head is. That's my advice.
Other than that, I really don't see anything that needs fixing right now. Maybe a little more shading would add to it, as people have mentioned, but... I dunno. I'll let you decide what kind of shading and coloring you wanna do as you go. Good luck on the book! smile

A comic? is this*something random to fill time* Or "something important to me"? because if it truly is important, I would hold off and tone your skills hun^^ I'm still toneing mine..and I hade my stories since 7th grade *in 12 now* still havent started them..I dont feel ready yet.

The best way to self-test your art is to mirror it. You can do it digitally in most programs, or you can just hold it up to a mirror whee That makes all, if any, problem stand right out. That is also why I avoid mirrors like a vampire... xd

i don't know how long the arms are supposed to be, but judging by were it looks like the elbows are, her legs are too short. do you draw the body before the clothes?
