Yeah, during the Mehrune's Razor quest, I got stuck wtih 4 drothmeri soldiers and 2 Vampires. That was hard. Also, hardest fight ever, Jygalagg at the end of the Shivering Isles main quest. However, for any ludicrously hard battle, just slide the Difficulty slider to zero. Problem solved...

Senisok I like the through-and-through headshots. And they do more damage for a helmet-less enemy. If they have a full set of Daedric Armor, minus the helmet, you want a headshot. As to your question, Organization, essential NPC's can't be hit in the head. The arrows go to either their shoulders or their chest. As for the Scamp, I dunno.

My most difficult fight was... Well, let me explain. I had just finished contracting Poryphiric Haemophilia on my Altmer necromancer, and felt like closing an Oblivion gate in the mean time. Which I did. Easily. Then, I felt like just strolling along the wilderness. Which I did. Easilly. But y'see, the thing is, I listen to my own music when I'm playing Oblivion. I didn't realise the enemies behind me until a guard I was passing leaped off of his horse. I turned. My jaw dropped.
-Three Clannfears
-A Storm Atronach
-A Daedroth
-Four Vampires
-Three Bandits
-A Timber Wolf
and finally....
-A mudcrab.
I was astounded that I could have missed so many enemies following me. No doubt the fortified speed kept me ahead of 'em. Anyways. The rest is history. Summoned me a lich. Both the lich and the Imperial Guard died pretty quick. If it weren't for my enchanted dwemer dagger, Rigor Mortis (10 points frost damage + 100 drain health + 100% weakness to magicka), and my vast array of spells, I'm confident I would have ended up Daedroth food.
The lucky thing here is that two of the vampires were mages, and that the storm atronach was there. When your character was born under the sign of the atronach, and has two rings, a hood and an amulet all devoted to spell absorbtion, having a bunch of spellcasters slinging magic at you is handy.

Well, I have full mithril and nothing to do with it(I have much better armor), so I went down to the AU. I enchanted the armor, along with a ring, with chameleon. I became invisible. I went and beat the main quest EASILY. The guys at the great gate stood no chance. *manical laughter*

hmmm my greatest victory or my greatest escape....well seeing as I never run (Because I'm stubborn as hell) it would have to be my greatest victory I suppose...First, my greatest victory with my Orc character, Orgim Gro'bash.
At the great gate during the main quest, I had to face many Xivilai (Annoying....VERY annoying) and making sure Martin didnt die. Took 10 tries lol. I had full daedric armor enchanted with 10 strength (I think it was 10...) and a Daedric (dremora...whichever you prefer) longsword enchanted with...something lol dont remember. I was level 39 at the time, which was a bad idea i suppose....
Then theres on my main mage, Kinas. (I still need to take him to shivering isles...)
(Its gonna be quick, I'm tired lol)
I killed all of the guards in Leyawin's guard barracks, then used the Staff of Worms and resurrected them, then more guards came in and the resurrected ones attacked me! so after i managed to live, I took all of their weapons off of their bodies and resurrected them, then I punched one in the face and they all charged at me lol.

I dunno... I didn't get away. lol
I was running along a roof with people shooting arrows at me and I was on really low health.
I got shot by a damn guard, sort of stumbled to the right, and fell of a building, ragdoll physics and all.
Twas mint to watch.

Well my triumph, a escape and a downfall rolled in one.
Well I was doing that vampire hunter quest and I disided that since I was a lowerlevel than all these vampires that I'd just rather run through the dungen and get the guy I wanted to kill's attention and then just kill him and leave everyone else alone.
what I forgot was that these guys follow you EVERYWHERE!
So I ran in got to the guy and then suddenly all the vampires in the cave come and attack me while I'm fighting the one guy.
Me being a mage this is a bad thing. So I'm like, "CRAP!" and luckily I have a wilkneid(or whatever) stone on me and I used that to restore my magica and blast them allwith my most powerful area spells(at least agenst vampires)
Killed about 5 of them with it but still had a good 10 other enemies after me. So I used another stone and called up my trusty deadroth pet and bound armor and make a run for it. They kill my little pet and my armor spell runs out about halfway out of the dungen and they start hammering me agian. But somehow I make it out of the cave and into the sunlight.
They where stupid and came after me. after that it was a matter of a few fire spells and they all died.... expect for the guy I went in there to kill in the first place.... couldn't find him but I didn't wana run back in there sooo I went to rest at my tower(frostcrag).
I sleep for like 2 hours and the guy just pops out of nowwhere and I getta kill him. easy as pie.
3 or 4 days later I become a vampire....

I was doing the Seige of Kvatch quest and I'm trying to get the gate to the Castle open. I was stuck fighting Daedroths and Frost atronachs, an army of them, at least like 7 of the Frost Atronachs, no kidding. Did I mention my character only used his fists? I said srew this and ran, leaving that entire army behind. Then when I got the gate open, there was an army of Daedroths, Clannfear, and Flame Atronachs, just super, right. I had to run around and pick them off one by one with my bare hands, not hard, but very time consuming. My character proved himself worthy of his class name... Bad a**.

Had a new one a day or so ago. I ran into Cylarne after I had helped the dark seducers capture it (GO DEMENTIA!!!) and I set the difficulty to the hardest. So with my warrior, I took on every dark seducer in there at once......about 100 times I died, then I finally killed all of em except one on the last try...wasnt easy...Had to run around and shoot arrows alot lol. Helps that i had so many Strong healing potions.
I'm insane! lol

its been some time sens Iv played oblivion but the funest battles Iv had would have to be with my argonian assassin using the gich in the begining of the game I got my sneaking skills realy high amd marksman was my major atk skill. so I would sneak atk from a far. any ways I had theas nice fros arrows with splash damige. So when ever I would get bord i would piss off the gards and get them to folow me and when they would close to each other I would lonch an arrow and kill them all at ones it was priddy cool I think the most Iv ever killed would have to be 10 at ones im not shore of the number. the arrows were sweet tho Ithing it was 60 or 80 frost damige im not shore and look so sweet on my bros ps3 xp the last thing I remeber doing was when i just be came the head of the darkbrotherhood and I got my nice dagger. I would cut through gards like a warm knife through butter. xd

Good to see my thread's still alive. rofl
I remember once, I was trying to escape on the Waterfront from some guards, because I'd stolen some things. It was pretty dark out, and I jumped into the water and swam up a hillside that was circling the Imperial City. I was making good progress when I suddenly saw these GINORMOUS. YELLOW. EYES. Just glaring at me from the dark! I was so terrified that I ran back to the guard and turned myself in!
Later, I went back and found it was only two of the torches on the bridge that from my perspective, looked like glowing yellow eyes of some huge creature. sweatdrop

I could write this in great detail, but I'll sum it up:
Ogres beat the crap out of me. I kill them.
Archer pins me down when I have like, 30 life left.
Lion (In a snowing area. SNOWING! WTF is a plains lion doing in a Snowing mountain???) knocks me down to 4 life as I run away. I run into applewatch farmhouse and await for anything to arrive. When it does, (bandit killed lion, so bandit followed me there), I smacked it with a claymore a few times to kill that little witch...Freakin lion scared the crap out of me though.

OMG! this just happened! I must report this.
5 ogers, a vampire, legain soilder who is chaseing me because I'm wearing grey fox cowl, a wolf, mountain lion, and a clannfear(UGH!).
All dead. I have no idea how they all got after me when I was just running around.... Did I mention I have my difficulty always set all the way up? Lol I own mrgreen
