Risika stood in her large kitchen, staring at the small piles of meat before her. It was a small asortment of rabbit, deer, moose, cow, and pretty much any sort of meat she could find in the woods surronding her home, or at the local supermarket. She held a fairly large and sharp knife, cutting each pile of meat into nicely sized squares. Although this was to just make the work easier on the blender that she then threw the pieces into. It was a tedious task for her to do, but it was her responsibility and by now it was second nature to her.
She flicked the blade across the last slice of meat, using the blade to place the pieces into the blender. She then placed the knife down gently and took hold of a cup of blood, dumping that into the blender aswell. She secured the top of the blender then pressed the button labeled "mix." She sighed softly as she watched the red contents whirl around, making a sickly mixture only a crazy person would consume. Which wasn't that far from the truth.
" Aubrey!" she called as she stretched for a large cup in the cabinet above her. " Come get your lunch!"
A door being wrenched open and then slammed shut answered her, followed by the quick thumping of foot steps coming down the stairs. With a deep sigh, Risika turned toward the stairs to meet Aubrey's golden eyes.
Aubrey was what is called a Windigo. Windigo are demons that crave the flesh of humans, to make a long story short. Risika had been entrusted with the task of aquiring a human host for Aubrey and then taking care of him until he reached Windigo maturity. Throughout the first few years, Risika had grown attached to Aubrey, and began to see and treat him as her own son. Whether these feelings were returned, she wasn't too sure. He respected her and treated her better than others they had met, but she expects that Aubrey does this merely out of respect for the fact that she helped him live, nothing more. Regardless of how he truly felt, she kept making him his meat slop shake and continued on with her duty as his caretaker.
" Here you go," she murmmered, holding out a cup of the sludge from the blender. " I added a few new meats because I ran out of the other types. So I apologize in advance.
" Hrm," was Aubrey's only response as he took the cup from her hand and headed towards the bar, sitting on a stool and obviously making an effort not to meet her eyes. Sika smiled, turning away from him to clean up her counter. A moment of awkward silence followed as she cleaned the surface with a sponge.
" What is in your jacket-pocket Risika," Aubrey murmmered softly. Sika flinched, mainly from the sudden break of silence, but also because he had used her full name.
" What?" She asked innocently.
" Don't act dumb, I sense something living in your jacket pocket. What is it?" He was suddenly beside her, his pupils narrowed to mere slits as he stared at her pocket.
" Aubrey," she paused, taking in his haunted look. He didn't look angry or offended, but scared, very scared. " Aubrey, it's the relic I spoke to you about before. I warned you about this." She had warned him, because he got funny while around things that were inanimate yet had life sources. He was made to eat that which had life, and osmething he couldn't eat that HAD life, confused and frightened him.
A frown crossed Risika's face as she took a step back from Aubrey. She would need to keep up a defense for the relic and her own safety. Aubrey watched her step away, a predatory look in his eyes, she had to end this.
" Aubrey, that is enough," her voice had a warning tone to it. Aubrey knew what she could be capable of if forced to defend. And from the look on his face, he did know, and was contemplating whether or not to risk it. " Go back to your room Aubrey." He nodded, a sad look in his eyes as he grabbed hold of his lunch, and disappearing into the shadows.
A breath that Risika hadn't noticed she was holding, escaped her throat. Her tensed muscles finally relaxing ever since he had come down stairs. She gingerly took hold of the relic nestled safely in her inside jacket pocket, taking it out and holding it in both hands. She ran her thumb over the side of the relic, watching it sadly. Could she truly keep these Aduthule safe, would she always be there to protect them from Aubrey? What if she couldn't? ANother sigh escaped her, and she placed the relic back into her jacket pocket. She shuffled over to the counter and started to finish cleanign up the bloody mess left behind from Aubrey's lunch. Perhaps she would finally get around to her own meal.

Written within a worn notebook, in scrawled and hurried letters, is her note. It had just happened, the boys had emerged, and all the andrenalin filled demon could think of was to write something, anything down to remember this occasion.
HOLY s**t. Ok so basically I have had this relic in my possession for sometime now, and I knew what would basically come from this stone. I had seen it happen, and I the whole basic 'science' of it down pact. But I would have never excepted it to effect me as it has now. My hand is shaking so much right now I can barely keep this entry legible.
So anyways, their "birth" happened in the middle of the night, I would say around 2am or so. Of course I was up doing some last minute work on my computer, and then I heard a low humming noise. My computer had been acting up recently and making groaning noises, so at first I had figured thats what it was. So I paused in my work and leaned in toward my tower, hoping to listen for the source of the noise. However, after a few moments of waiting, the humming started up again, and yet it wasn't coming form my computer, it was coming from behind me. I figured I was getting tired and imagining things but after another five minutes of constant humming I began to think that maybe it wasn't my imagination.
So I got up from my desk and followed the humming, which lead me to my night stand beside my bed. And wouldn't you know it? THe humming was coming from the basket I had made into a makeshift bed for the relic. I watched the relic for a moment or two, and it was freaky! The thing was vibrating, literally vibrating! I was surprised my whole night stand hadn't been shaking from it. I reached out to grab hold of it, for what reason I have no freaking idea, and as my hand was merely inches above it, thats when it happened.
It was as if a flash bomb had been set off. The mere shock of power sent me back on my a**, and all I could see was pure white with black spots dancing infront of my eyes. Blinking didnt help, and I surely wanted to see as I heard my night stand crack and fall to the ground, followed by the shattering of my lamp. I rubbed my eyes feverishly, trying to work out my temporary blindness in order to see what the hell was going on. And then silence. I didnt hear anything nor did I feel the constant pressure of a bright light. I thought my relic had exploded or something, did I kill it? And then thats when I heard two things at once, a giggle and a frantic cry.
I felt a cool hand upon my cheek and like magic, I could see again. My eyes stopped aching and those lovely black spots stopped their eratic dancing. What met my gaze were bright, saphire eyes, surrounded my darkness. Attached to these eyes and hand was a child! He had long grey hair, which hung around his waist and was accented with violet highlights. His skin was very similar to his hair colour, maybe a shade darker grey and he had hooves and long dark purple wings! He was too much to take in! And then I heard the other noise again, another frantic cry and the shuffling of another child trying to escape.
I tore my gaze from the giggling child infront of me, putting an arm around him and holding him close without thinking, and looked for the other child. He was pale, VERY pale, with short, dirty-blonde hair that hung infront of his auburn eyes. His eyes though, the look in his eyes is was caught my attention. They were frightened! What was he frightened of? I reached out for him, but this only seemed to frighten him more. I couldn't figure out why he was so scared. My frustration caused my devilish tail to flick angrily against the hardwood floors, and this earned yet another frantic cry from the child. Then his eyes were closed, and he slumped upon the ground. Apparently I had scared him so much that he passed out. I will surely have to find a spell to fix myself.
s**t he's crying again. I better go take care of him before he wake sup the whole house. I wonder where I put that masking charm. Well, here I go again, diving head first into something bigger than I can probably chew.

~First Frost~ The day had started early, mainly because Elazu had woken up wailing at 6am in the morning. Risika now stood in the kitchen, sipping at a small cup of hot tea, her eyes half lidded as she watched Kisten and Trent watchign TV in the next room. Elazu was back in his crib, sleeping soundly which was a god send. Risika had already figured she would be spending most of her morning consoleing him until he finally went to bed a few hours later, but he was fed, changed and poof, out like a light. So now she stood, watchign her two kids who seemed to LOVE being up this early. Were they always up this early watching cartoons? Now that she thought about it they were always the ones waking her up in the morning, not the other way around. Hopefully that would change as they got older, and she could go back to sleeping until noon again, but she did seriously doubt it, especially once the thought of school danced in her head. Oh dear god. The thought of sending all of her kids to school during the day and finally getting the house to herself, did make her feel a little better, and yet at the same time the thought of being alone made her feel well, lonely. She pushed herself off of the counter, taking her cup of tea with her as she made her way to the doors that lead out to their porch, staring outat the yard. A lovely sight met her eyes as she saw the first frost of the season over the nice green grass. She smiled and opened the door, walking out onto the porch. A puff of air escaped her mouth, lettign her knwo that it was indeed cold enough, and that possibly just letting the kids run around in it without proper winter clothes, was defiantly not a great idea. But nevertheless, she called Kisten and Trent over, putting an arm out to keep them at her sides, knowing that Kisten would probably squeal with excitement and run out into the cold. Both boys were amazed, wide-eyes and gasps of wonderment seemed to be the only thing they could do for the first few moments. This was their first frost, their first cold weather really, and Kisten seemed to be especially entertained by the fact that he could see his breath float around infront of him. But a frown soon crossed Risika's face, for she didn't have any winter clothes for the kids yet, which meant that today woudl possibly be a shopping day after all. She sighed, getting a giggle from Kisten as he watched her breath dance in the air, then herded the two boys back into the house, shutting the door and then making her way toward her purse which was back in the kitchen. It was always best to make sure you had the money to spend on winter clothes. Thankfully winter had come late this year, therefore most of the stores had their winter clothes on sale, figuring that the winter would be a light one and peopel wouldn't really need to be buying stuff. But mother nature always seemed to have her own plans for things. Money situation was good, so off to town it was!

December 19th, 4:30am So I woke up early to get some last minute laundry and last minute packign done for the kids. Getting my own packing done was a....fun experience. First I lost my own bag, having to go with a much smaller and less sturdy bag instead. I had two other suit cases, but at the moment they were all being used by Kisten and Trent. I swear, for kids they had plenty of things to bring with them on a week long trip.
Elazu was the easiest to pack. Being much smaller than the other boys, most of his clothes could fit into a regular handbag, plus he didn't understand the meanign of video games like Kisten did, so this left plenty of packing space. The only thing of his I would have to worry about would be his car seat aswell as the three seated stroller for everybody. The people at the baggage drop off were just going to LOVE me. Which is why I am getting to the airport 2 hours before my flight even starts boarding.
5:30 am
And we're off! Getting the kids into the car was simple enough, especially with Raziel's help. He was deffiantely a big help when Elazu started to throw a fit from being woken up. Kisten and Trent were still passed out, so a simple pick up and set down into their booster seats, and they were set to go. By the time everything was in the car and it was time to get going, Elazu still hadn't gotten over his fit. So for most of the ride to the airport I had to hold him. He has this thing now where he can only got back to sleep while being held if he can listen to my heart beat. Something hard to do since my heart hasn't needed to beat for about three hundred years. But my boys seem to do the strangest things to me, my heart workign again being one of the many things.
6:30am
As I had figured, the ticket lady was just thrilled with how many bags and the huge stroller I had to check. However, Raziel's glare and fanged sadistic grin made her keep her comments and snide remarks to herself as she entered codes into her computer and placed the tags onto my stuff. I waved a cherry goodbye then shuffled my way towards security, Elazu in my right arm, Trent holding my left hand, and Kisten holding Raziel's ( Trent refuses to get any where near Raziel and Kisten seems to be fairly fond of him), and then headed for Security.
The woman at the front of the security line was nice enough, she gave Kisten a long, confused stare especially when she had reminded us that we would need to take our shoes off then saw that Kisten had hooves for feet. Kisten didn't seem to mind the stares, he took them for stares of admiration and would grin right back at her, tugging on Raziel's hand to show him that he was getting attention. A gave Raziel a quick kiss and hug goodbye, as did Kisten, then ushered the kids toward security. I placed my back pack onto the x-ray machine then turned towards the metal detector. Kisten had already skipped through and was waiting for us onn the other side with a huge grin on his face. I returned the grin then looked down at Trent, whom was staring at the device with large, scared eyes. I knelt down by his side to see what was the matter, offering to walk him through it. He shook his head violently and ran toward Kisten, his eyes closed shut as he ran into his brother. I sighed and walked through with the still sleeping Elazu in my arms. The security officer nodded to me, his eyes still glued to Kisten and a sulking Trent as he muttered, " Got your hands full don't you?"
" That I do, sir. That I do."
Due to Elazu's age, I was able to get just three seats for the four of us. The flight attendants were angels, offering to help me get the kids into their seats. I got the first three seats of the plane so we were the first to board, thusly making us be waiting on the plane. The wait was a lot easier than I thought it would be due to the fact that I had woken the kids up so early, they were passed out before we even started to take off. They stayed asleep for most of the flight, only waking up to ask to use to restroom, or to ask why the plane was shaking so much. All three of my boys have flown before, so the only thing that bothered them was turbulance and landing. Kisten would constantly ask if he could fly with the plane and when told no, why couldn't he? Trent slept for most of the flight, his first plane ride had scared the crap out of him so he knew better than to stay awake. Elazu of course was asleep for most of the ride too, only waking up when Kisten poked him to talk to him. Elazu really likes Kisten, he keeps him entertained the easiest, so no fits followed the sudden awakening.
Landing was smooth, and because were right infront of the plane, we were the first to get off. I was excited to see my mother so I was kind of rushing the half awake kids down the hall towards baggage claim. Down the escalder and there she was.
" Kids, thats your Grandma Mary," I said as I grinned at my already crying mother. Kisten squealed and ran down the rest of the escalder steps, pushign his way past a few people. Trent stood still, watching Kisten with a disgusted look as he ran into my Mother's open arms. I tugged Trent's hand to make him move as I walked off of the escalder, muttering a few apologies to those who were still around me that had been pushedmy Kisten. I was instantly pulled into a tight hug, I barely had time to hold Elazu out the side on my hip so that he wouldnt get squished inbetween us. Elazu was also soon snatched from my arms into my mother's. " So you have three now? When were you going to tell me about this cute one hm?" She waggled her fingers infront of Elazu's outstretched hands. He giggled in response, instantly brightening at the sight of my mother. " Oh, and look at this one's hands! I swear you get the weirdest, yet most adorable boys. And hello to you too Trent. I'll leave you next to your mother, she already warned me about your personal space." Trent hid behind my legs as if on cue, and my mother and I exchanged a knowing look. One only mother's understood I guess you could say. " Well lets get your bags," my mother said, still holding Elazu as she made her way towards the baggage claim. Kisten skipped at her side and Trent instantly grabbed hold of my hand as we started to walk. " Of you're going to love how much stuff I packed mom," I said with a smirk. " Oh Raziel already warned me my dear, about many things." " You'll be needing a lot of coffee."

" Mommy! Mommy! Look at the duckies! They look like doggies!" Kisten squealed, pointing at the three male ducks that were now surrounding him and his piece of bread. The ducks were about thigh high to him, so I of course kept a close watch on him while he fed them.
I had become fond of feeding these ducks myself. They were about knee high to me, they had white and black feathers which would turn green when hitting the light just right, and they had odd red growths around their beaks, very similar to a turkey. And what Kisten met by that they were just like doggies was that when they got excited or whenever you spoke to them they would wag their tails, just like a dog would.
While Kisten fed his three I sat close by with Elazu sitting in my lap and Trent standing behind me, his hands tight on my shoulder as he watchedme feed the duck infront of me. He was a little older than the other ducks, seemingly a loner, and much more patient when it came to letting the kids feed him. I had become especially fond of this duck mainly because of this patience. He even let Elazu feed him, a baby who was more interested in eatting the piece of bread himself rather than giving it to a duck to eat.
Trent, however, didnt trust the older duck. In fact he didn't trust any of the ducks, but this was to be expected, he didn't trust a lot of things.
Then I heard Kisten's squeal as he started to run back towards me, " No more duckies! No more!" The ducks didn't believe him, following closely behind him, waddleing as fast as their webbed feet would let them. I laughed and stood up, holding Elazu upon my hip as I made my way back inside of the house, holding Trent's hand.
" Ok Kisten lets go inside and leave the duckies alone." I tossed the last bits of bread that i had to the ducks, distracting them long enough to let Kisten get away.
They were so impatient.

~Christmas Morning~ So I woke up to two pairs of eyes staring at me on Christmas morning. Kisten and Trent had woken up with the sun apparently, and said sun was now blaring down upon my eyes. I of course had that moment of " Oh my god I'm going to explode into flames now!" and shot out of bed into a shaded place of the room. But then I remembered that that didn't happen anymore, but since I was already up... I got the already awake and waiting Elazu from his crib, while Trent and Kisten hung around my legs tryign to herd me into the living room where the tree and presents were. My mother was up aswell, setting the table for the already made breakfast. I of course demanded that Breakfast be first and then presents, but my demand was soon smushed by three, no wait four wails of frustration and disappointment. So I grabbed a plate and ate on the couch while Elazu sat in my lap playing with a bright red bow he had been given by my mother, and Trent and Kisten rip roared through their gifts. Kisten got his usual mystic trinkets and toys that he had scribbled down on a list, but he seemed to just like to unwrap gifts. While Kisten would gleefully tear the wrapping paper off of the gifts, Trent would take care with the paper. Instead of ripping, he would gently pull the tape from the wrapping paper, then gently take the paper off of the package, folding it neatly in his lap before setting it aside to view his present. However, he too seemed more interested in unwrapping the gifts rather than the gifts themselves. I guess the thrill of unwrapping a surprise is better than playing with it? So every gift was unwrapped, and out of all the gifts that they had unwrapped, they each seemed to have a favorite. Kisten had recieved a blood red scarf from my mother, which he had wrapped around his neck as well as around Trent's neck. Trent seemed extremely upset about his brother's invasion of his personal space, however, couldn't escape and finally gave up to look at his own favorite gift. My mother had gotten him one of those home garden kits you can buy at the book store. My mother was defiantly kicking some gift giving a**. Seeing a photo opp. I instantly grabbed my new digital camera, another awesome gift from my mother, and took a picture of the two wrapped together in Kisten's new scarf. The picture was defiantly being sent out in a card for the family, they bothered me enough for them as it was. Elazu gurgled from my lap then, gazing up at me as he gnawed on his new stuffed toy. His noises and looks screamed, Hey lady I need to be changed. So of course, that was my next agenda of the day...

Raja (( For Sika, Bally, and myself. ))
"You should really have worn the hat." The girl's voice was more filled with concern than a 'know it all' tone. Still the look that she earned was of complete annoyance. Then it dropped to defeat as the pale creature beside her shook her head.
"No Lyn, I really shouldn't. I would have hat head." Besides, the aliens were NOT, in fact, messing with her head. Despite seemingly popular belief. Perhaps her sister was simply trying to justify the means? She certainly couldn't even begin to understand it.
"Errie, they won't stop unless you prevent them. Mr. Fluffles toooold me so!" The girl tugged the scarf around her neck closer as she pouted in the direction of the lavender girl beside her. They'd simply gone out for a walk in the park, but the discussion had come up of course. Certainly Eren must have seen the wrong in her ways. She had to. For her own sake. It was Lyneas' job as a good sister to ensure that the twin learned. That, and Mr. Fluffles insisted that she help her. Something about it being the right thing to do. "How about we go home and get it right now. In the meantime we can share my scarf. It'll keep us both safe." A bright smile crept across her face at this idea as she began to tug up the length of scarf that had been dragging along behind her. She offered the ever mucky thing over to her sister.
Eren simply stared for an insant at the object before sticking out her tongue. "Jeezus Lyn! Put it down! How can you even WEAR that?" Both hands slid to her hips as she turned to her 'twin.' Obviously the walking thing was on hold.
"Do you have any idea how ridiculous you sound? Do you even lisen to yourself?" There was a bit of a huff in her voice as she finished. One hand quickly reached up to brush a few strands of hair behind one of her ears as her tail flicked angrily. The action had been more of a subconcious need to get her sister to do the same, hoping that perhaps she'd fix the mess she called hair. Or at least brush the chunks not pulled into a bun into some order. As if those gaudy clips weren't bad enough.
Minor confusion registered on the girls face as the scarf as practically shoved back at her. "They must really have stirred up your head this time." Lyneas sighed sadly, her head dropping a bit. Her poor, poor sister. So confused. 'It'll be alright, Lyn. We can help her.' She smiled at that, the dark skinned girl beaming at the creature beside her. One only she saw apparently, Eren had babbled about that. It had to be the aliens fault. They'd made it so people couldn't see Mr. Fluffles. It was a conspiracy. "Yea, we'll make her better again." She said in a bubbly tone toward the creature. He grinned to her and it seemed all was right again. Or as right as anything ever was in the girl's mind.
Then again... she was normal as far as she was concerned. Eren was the one with problems. Sika-chan " Kisten! Stop! Mommy told you to stay with me!" The pale, brown haired child stumbled as her ran after his flying brother, green sneakers pattering the ground. Kisten giggled from the skies, his purple wings stretched out at his sides. He loved flying, and once more, loved picking on his brother who was flightless. " I haven't left you Trent! I'm still here!"Trent's eyes were locked onto his brother's position in the sky, so much so that he failed to notice the girls in front of him, the girls he soon ran into. " Oof!" He fell to the ground, landing on his bottom. Raja Lyneas had been too distracted with talking to her 'friend' to see the incoming problem. However, Eren had glanced up in time to have a split second to screech before being sent black on her back by the impact. Oh there would be hell to pay if she'd gotten dirty.
Lyneas took the crash far better. Certainly she fell to the ground as well, even earned a little cut on her knee, not that it was too visably with with the oddity of her markings. It might have just been another bizarre thing about her for someone who didn't know the girl. Though she only glanced at the other child a moment after catching her wits again, or catching them as much as she ever had them. "Eh, you running from the aliens!?" Which of course had to be the only reason anyone would be running without looking. At least in the young girl's head anyway. "Don't worry! Even if Errie likes getting her brain all stirred up like a blender would I can help ya!" Hopefully Trent took foul cloth being shoved towards him better than Eren did, because he got a similar treatment to the girl's as a treat. Which of course was meant for his own good. Afterall, she was trying to protect him.
Eren had shoved herself up, trying to gather what had happened up in her mind. She'd been pushed. That was what her brain said. By a rude boy. Them and their boy things. She wasn't entirely sure what all boy things were, but... they were something. Because they made boys act like that did. "HMPH! PUSHING GIRLS! HOW RUDE!" Of course, she completely ignored that Lyneas had taken it another way. Her sister obviously didn't know anything about boys. "You boys are all the same! Unruly little..." She let out a grumble rather than finishing the statement, attempting to catch her sister and tug her away from the boy a bit. To no avail. Lyneas only gave her a look that was less than amused.
"Oh? Now you're readyt o be saved from the aliens?" Sika-chan " There are no such things as aliens," Trent muttered as he stood, dusting himself off. He hadn't gotten a good look at the girls he had bumped into, but he didn't appreciate the scarf or the yelling. With a rude swat, he pushed the scarf from his face then turned toward the girl who was yelling at him, his eye narrowed in anger. " And stop yelling at---" He stopped mid command, his angry eyes soon widening in fear as he finally got a good look at the girls. They were unnatural, just like his brother, and he had touched them! A frightened squeak escaped his throat as he stumbled backwards, falling yet again onto his bottom. He instantly snatched hold of his hood, pulling it over his head as if it would keep him safe. A circling shadow was soon seen around the small group, and in a flurry of purple wings and the clip clop of his hooves, Kisten landed in front of his brother, his arms out to his side as if to block the girls from getting to Trent. He frowned, his tail flicking angrily behind him. " What you do to my brother?" He demanded. Sure his brother hated him for probably the same reason he was so frightened of the girls now, but no one hurt his brother. Raja No aliens? The girl sighed, pouting as her scarf was once more shoved back. Both eyes narrowing at the boy's odd reaction. "They really did a number on your noodle." She quickly mumbled before turning to the air and nodding. Obviously she agreed with whatever Mr. Fluffles had commented on this time. Alas, not that the rest of the world knew what it was. It probably didn't matter much.
Lyneas almost perked at the words, it was probably the main thing that silenced her. Finally! Maybe Lyneas would listen- or not. Gods, when would her sister realize that such things didn't exist. An exasperated look started to overtake her face until the comment and then the reaction. Not knowing what caused the reaction she quickly began fawning at her hair assuming she'd been turned into a mess. That or it was her sister, though the lack of immediate reaction suggested not. So what? Had a bunch of branches gotten caught in her hair? She tried putting the locks into place, checking for any mess as theother boy landed. Which once again drew her attention, along with the dark skinned girl beside her.
Sadly it ended as well as the previous exchange had.
"WHAT DID WE DO!? HE'S THE ONE WHO TRIED TO RUN ME OVER! HE SHOULD APPOLOGIZE!" There went the girls temper again. She started to shove herself up, dusting off some of the dirt as she did. "I was minding my own business until your brother decided it'd be funny to knock me onto the ground!" She scowled at the boy, managing to overlook the appearance. She'd seen wierder. Mainly things that involved Lyneas and paint. Though the eyes... that was odd. She hadn't see that before... and his feet. Alright, he was a bit wierd, but not enough to cause her to cool her jets.
Lyneas soon got over pouting as the new thing appeared. One noodle wasn't enough to ruin her day, or perhaps she was just attention deficit. No doctor could really define all the things wrong with the girls head. Especially not when she wouldn't listen to them and only insisted they had been befuddled by aliens in their noggin. So, as the other boy landed she started to shove herself into a sitting position. Then quickly scrambling forward a few paces on all fours almost like a dog would. She was peering up towards the other boy's face curiously as she did so. "You're from Hufflelump Village, right? Mr. Fluffles says you look like you are. You must be. I've never seen a Hufflelumper before. Do you dance like Mr. Fluffles clan does?" She paused briefly, glancing to her side as if listening to something before emitting a quiet 'ohh' as if something had been clarified. "Nevermind. Then you want to play your Worgle for us?" Sika-chan Trent merely squeaked once more before hugging his knees to his chest, hiding his face. He was not in the mood to be yelled at and especially not by some unnatural girls, otherwise he wouldn't have let his brother stand up for him. Kisten's hands were placed upon his hips, head tilted to the side with an eyebrow arched in question. He wanted to defend his brother's honour, but mommy always told him to not fight with girls, for he would more than likely always lose. The sudden movement of the other girl brought his eyes to the ground, his eye brow arching even higher, if that were possible. " Hufflelump? Worgle?" He crouched in front of the girl, his head tilted to the side in wonder. He watched the girl for a moment then his eyes slowly moved toward the empty space that she seemed to converse with. " Mr.Fluffles?" He knew that some beings can be invisible, or only be visible to those who believed in them, or even be visible whenever they felt like it. So for a moment Kisten tried to believe that there was a Mr.Fluffles there beside the girl, hoping that his belief would let him see it. She obviously talked and saw it, so why not? Raja Eren wasn't about to give up her ground. They were the ones in the wrong, specifically that one who was trying to shrink away from the blame. But in general boys were bad, so it was still they. Especially since that oddity that rivaled even her sister was trying to defend the coward. Gods, that one in the hoodie needed to get a spine. And then the real shocker hit. Rather than an apology, or even something normal that boy... he did the unthinkable. He played along with Lyneas' games.
The girl's head flopped slightly to one side as she stared in a mixture of horror and shock. How the hell could he do that!? That was... Gods! Now she'd never get Lyneas to stop with the imaginary friends and the voices and... gods oh gods...
Lyneas slumped a bit at his lack of knowledge. "You're not a Hufflelump? So you aren't gonna play a Worgle for us?" An obvious pout appeared on her face even as he lowered to her level. She'd heard a lot about the Worgles and how nice they sounded, because it was an instrument of course, so she'd been hoping a bit. Her tail flicked a bit as he stated the next name. Not even Mr. Fluffles? That was a horror. How could anyone miss him? He was sooo big. Purple, with the ears of a rabbit, of course he also had horns. And another set of ears too. The second set were more like a tears, but droopy. Set a bit lower than the first. Then there was the fact he was an ever changing mix of other animals for the rest of his body. Whatever suited her for the moment really. He said it was because he liked to please people, whichof course she believed. 'It's alright, most people just don't want to admit I exist.' The voice chimed, forcing a nod out of the girl.
The creature was in her head of course, but who knew. Perhaps the fact she believed so fiercly in the thing that he was real enough for someone else to see him. Of course, that might also mean that the person would have to be just as messed up in the head as Lyneas, or they'd see something different from what the girl saw. Because as Mr. fluffles said. He suited the person's tastes. "You have to want to see Mr. Fluffles to see and hear him. Oh, and no messy aliens in your brain either."
Finally Eren managed to free herself from her stunned silence and quickly pointed an accusing finger that was less than steady at Kisten. "Don't encourage her! She'll never stop talking to her imaginary friends and babbling about the aliens if you play along!" Sika-chan Trent let out a sigh of relief. Perhaps the strange girls had forgotten he was there, or perhaps he was no longer a threat to the loud one. One thing was for sure, the one who was so angry all the time disliked her sister a bit, and this intrigued him, for he felt the same way about his brother. His eyes traveled toward Kisten then, narrowing in anger as he watched him. He hated him so, and especially all of his unnatural kind. Kisten brushed back a lock of hair from his face, placing it behind his elongated ears. He knew it, if he believed hard enough, he would see Mr. Fluffles too. A frown did cross his face, however, as the other girl started to yell at him again. " And how you know he isn't real? Maybe you scare him and he don't wanna be seen by you? Hmmm?" He turned his eyes back toward 'Mr.Fluffles', his eyes narrowed in concentration. He believed Mr. Fluffles was there, no matter what the loud girl said. Raja "Oh yea, just like the aliens come and mess with my head every night." Sarcasm leaked out of her voice as she spoke. He wasn't helping, not at all. Brown eyes swerved toward the boy to the side in a manner that showed she didn't like him any more than the other. Then a quick turn as her hand swep to accuse him this time. Or not. "You! You know him! Control him! Tell him this is nonsense before he makes Lyneas even wierder!" If he wouldn't listen to someone he didn't know, then maybe he'd listen to someone he did. He had called this guy his brother afterall. God relatives were a pain.
Lyneas beamed slightly at the other boy's response. It wasn't completely right, since Mr. Fluffles never hid. 'Of course I don't.' Did she forget to mention he could read minds. At least he could read her's. It saved time of course. Very convenient. "Mr. Fluffles doesn't hide. Errie just doesn't want to see him so she can't." The girl replied quickly. "And cause the aliens discombooberated her noodle with their probbies. She shoulda worn the hat. Right, Mr. Fluffles?" At the end she turned back toward the space, nodding again. 'Yes, it's such a sad case. She'll learn eventually.' A smile drew across the girl's face at this. Yes, in time her sister would be saved. Hopefully her brain would be in only a few pieces when she came to her senses. It was already a bit broken, so there was no way to say she was all ok at this point. Sika-chan Trent frowned and glared at the girl who continued to yell at him. If she only knew she asked the impossible. " If I could control him, I would. And instead of yelling at me, how about you control your sister. She seems to be the crazy one, Kisten isn't making her weirder for believing her." Was he standing up for his brother? Maybe to get the loud one from yelling at him, hopefully Kisten didn't hear that. However, Kisten did hear that, and smiled softly to himself. He always loved to hear it, whether Trent truly ment it or not. " Then why can't I see Mr.Fuffles? I believe he's there, I really do!" Kisten frowned, frustrated with himself. Maybe the aliens had messed with his brain. He turned swiftly toward Trent, his mouth open to ask the question, but he was cut off before a word left his mouth. " Aliens don't exist Kisten,"Trent replied, already knowing what his brother was going to ask him. Raja That didn't help with the situation. Not at all. "She doesn't listen becaue of people like your brother!" The girl stomped her foot glaring frostilly at the boy. As if it was her fault that people who encouraged her sister made it impossible to fix the problem. No, she'd never get better when she was constantly having people play along with her. "He's not helping her! I'm full aware she's nuttier than a peanut factory, that's why I don't need him making it worse!"
Lyneas frowned slightly, tapping a hand against her chin thinking. "Mmmn... dunno. Mr. Fluffles why can't he see ya?" She turned her head to the side quizzically and bobbed her head a bit as if listening to some form of a reply. She completely ignored the comment that Trent made to his brother, choosing to pay attention to the reply from invisable friend. "He says it was the aliens." There she went undermining what everyone else said.
"LYNEAS! THERE ARE NO ALIENS! Didn't you hear him!?" The girl scowled as sourly a her sister as she had at Trent. Obviously she was prone to a usual bad mood, often brought on by the twin's actions. How could you live a nice normal life when someone was screeching about aliens and what not right next to you twenty-four seven?
"We just need to get you something to protect you." She nodded knowingly at the boy. Once they got him protection he'd be fine. "Those two just got mixed up in the head cause the aliens went an' stirred em up so they don't remember. They'll be ok once they protect themselves so they won't get stirred up anymore." Sika-chan " The aliens!" Kisten exclaimed, clamping his hands over his ears almost immediately. Had they really gotten to him? Was his brain truly scrambled? What was he going to do?! But wait! He could go somewhere safe. " Where do we go?"Trent stood up then, his anger from being yelled at overpowering his fear of the girl before him. His hands were balled into fists at his sides, shaking slightly. " Do not blame this on my brother!" There he goes again... " Maybe if you humored your sister things wouldn't be so out of hand!" Now, if only he followed his own advice. Raja The girl sighed, one hand raising to her head. No... oh gods. It was getting worse. AGAIN! Though she wasn't about to back down when the other boy spoke up. Her lower lip jutting out a bit. "Humor her? You want me to play along and let her put that nasty scarf on me? To let her poke my head as she exclaims that the aliens have left me a mess? You try that and tell me how it goes!" She huffed as she finished, hands curling up angrily. How dare he think that it was her fault that Lyneas was such a mess. HOW DARE HE! It was all her fault, she shouldn't be like that. She should act normal like everyone else. She should fit in. It wasn't fair that she had to put up with a sister who tried to be the exact opposite of what everyone else was at the time. It wasn't fair.
"First we gotta get you a protective device." She quickly replied, completely ignoring the conversation her sister was having. She was in her own world. One that centered around Mr. Fluffles and the scrambled eggs for brains people. "Like my scarf. My scarf keeps em from bumbling up my brains all baddish. Mr. Fluffles was the one who told me that." She nodded before lifting up one end of the scarf, the end that had been dragging along the ground a ways, and held it out. "This'll keep em away till we get you one for yourself." She glanced off to the side momentarily as if listening again. The nodded a bit before standing up quiet abruptly. "Mr. Fluffles says there's an alien proof thinger that way." It just happened to be that whatever the thing was was in the direction of a bunch of trees. God only knew what they'd find, but it'd be something. And Lyn was more than willing to be the first to find it, starting off without another word. She didn't bother to check if anyone was coming with her. Mr. Fluffles was already on his way, she couldn't let him go hunt alone.

Ballentine It was a calm day, outside the sun was shinning and of course the birds were singing. For Ballentine it was just another day at work, but for once she had brought her kids along with her, as well as Rakas. The boy was, for the moment, the new addition to the already large family. From her office she listened to the kids playing, or at least Xia's voice as it was the loudest of the three...
Out in the main hall, Xia had set up shop. She was down on her knees and babbling about this and that to Bao. Between the two girls were sheets of paper with random scribbles drawn with crayon. Xia was making pretty things for all the museum staff members. Bao simply sat there rolling a crayon back and fourth with her finger, though her eyes were staring up at the ceiling lights.
Rakas just rolled his eyes as he watched the two girls, sitting with his arms crossed over his chest. Playing with girls was boring! "Tch..." Grabbing a crayon that Xia simply cast aside, he snapped it in half before tossing it back down. "I'm going outside..."
Xia gasped, looking down at the crayon. "Meanie! I said no breaking my crayons! Dat was the pretty green!" Growling a bit, she grabbed both halves of the crayon, trying to press them back together. "Go outside den... I dun want you here anyway. You break my crayons."
Rakas once more rolled his eyes as he stood up to his feet, purposely walking over the scribbles Xia called artwork. Why did girls have to be so dumb? Sika-chan Risika walked with her boys, each handing holding one of their own. She had figured that it was about time to get them out of the house, especially while Raziel, her own personal babysitter/boyfriend, was home to watch the other boys. She also figured that while they were out, she might as well swing by the museum, let the boys get a good look around. Always in a good mood, Kisten was skipping at her side, humming along as he watched birds fly past. From time to time he would motion to take off after them, but Risika would keep hold of his hand, tugging him back down to earth. Trent, on the other hand, sulked at her side, the hood of his sweater pulled up and over his head to shield the sun from his eyes. He didn't want to go out, especially with Kisten, he would rather stay home and tend to his plants. As the group finally reached the museum, Risika smiled softly, making way for the museum entrance. " Alright boys we're here," she said, letting go of Trent's hand to open the door for them. Ballentine As the small family entered the museum, one boy was headed out. Rakas stood there in the doorway blinking in surprise. "Wow...." Wow for two reasons. One he was just surprised to see someone coming back after the dramatic episode he caused, and two, they were boys about his age. Or at least they looked like boys...
Instead of heading out like he had intended, he simply held the door open for them and gestured the three inside. "Welcome..." He mumbled, looking Trent over followed by Kristin. Sika-chan Three pairs of eyes turned toward the boy holding the door open for them. One thankful, one curious, and one frightened. Trent was the owner of the frightened eyes, and soon he broke away from Risika and Kisten, running into the closest room he could find. With a sigh, Risika smiled toward the boy, thanking him for opening the door for them before making way after Trent. She blinked a few times pausing as she looked him over again. She soon recognized the boy from before, deep inside the basement of this place. Kisten walked toward the boy, peering at the two tails that seemed to be attached to him. " Why you gots two tails? And why they different from each other?" He placed his hands upon his hips, seeming to mimic Peter Pan as he watched the other Thule with bright, curious eyes. Risika laughed sheepishly, grabbing hold of Kisten's shoulder, and pulled him back toward her side. "Kisten be nice." Ballentine His smile had only grew when Trent went running into the museum, turning his attention to Risika. "Don't worry Ma'am..." Rakas stated, noting the look Risika had given him. "I won't be turning off any more lights..." He had to say something, wanting to keep that snotty little kid attitude.
As Kristin spoke, Rakas mimicked his posture and flashed a big smile. "Because I ate my brother." Carelessly he shrugged. "My brother is in me now, and I am in control... Like that Saedare chick... Two became one... And I won." Sika-chan Kisten's eyes went wide at the mention of eating his brother. Would he do the same? Apparently Trent had thought the same thing for a distressed squeak came from the other room. That or he had found something else that scared him. Risika frowned, letting go of Kisten and moving into the next room to get Trent. She didn't worry about leaving Kisten alone with the the other Thule, believe it or not, Kisten knew how to protect himself. She walked into the next room, calling out for Trent as she caught sight of the two girls on the paper strewn floor. They were similar to tigers, and for a moment she had even thought they were, but she soon realized that they were Thule as well, and settled down. Trent, however, wasn't so lucky. He had settled himself into a corner, hugging his knees tightly against his chest as he watched the girls from the shadows of his hood. His brown eyes were wide with fear as he watched the two girls. With his mother gone, Kisten, taped his hooves against the ground, launching himself into the air with a flutter of wings. He hovered in front of the boy, mimicing Peter Pan once again with his hands upon his hips in deffiance. " You ate your brother? Was he tiny or somethin? OR do you gots a big mouth?" Ballentine Rakas yet again rolled his eyes. This boy wasn't any better than that stupid girl .. What's her name. Xia. Snoring a bit, he changed his posture to c**k a hip to the side as he crossed those arms over his chest again. "I ate him, because I wanted to win... We all will merge... At some point. Even you and your brother.. How you merge depends on you..."
Taking a few steps back, one hand rose to cover a yawn that suddenly interrupted his speech. "And ... I didn't really -eat- my brother... I just said that."
Unfortunately for Trent, a pair of eyes were upon him. Bao found him more interesting for the moment than how long she could stare at the lights before her eyes watered. So she really was staring at the greenish blue dot floating in front of her eyes, but in Trent's direction.
Xia took little to no notice of him, muttering about stupid boys as she scribbled more colors down upon the papers. For a change she was off in her own little world while Bao took the time to notice what changed in their surroundings. Sika-chan Kisten tilted his head to the side in curiousity. " My brother and I will merge too? I doubt that," he scoffed, landing back onto the ground with a soft clip-clop as his hooves contacted with the floor. " Trent doesn't even like sharing a room with me, I doubt he would let us merge." He blinked a few times, having barely understood the words coming out of his own mouth. Why was he talked about this? And was he boring this other guy? He frowned, thrusting his hand toward the other boy, a grin upon his face. " I'm Kisten." Whether or not this boy was bored of him, he wouldn't ignore his manners. Trent only squeaked louder as Bao stared at him. Why in the world was this place full of these things? He jumped up from the corner and ran toward Risika, instantly attached himself to her legs, burying his face against her thigh. If he couldn't see them, they couldn't see him, that had to work. Risika frowned at Trent, squatting down to pick him up, holding him close to her chest. Trent huffed sadly and buried his face into her neck, trying to hide himself even more. As she stood up she smiled at the two girls. She remembered Xia, but her sibling was new to her. " Why hello there Xia, and..." she trailed off, not knowing the gray Thule's name quite yet. Ballentine Rakas frowned as he stared at the hand thrust upon him. "I don't shake hands..." He muttered, "That's an adult thing." Reaching out before Kristen could pull away, he grabbed the other thule's wrist. One hand held that wrist while the other reached up to push Kristen's hand into a fist. Removing both his hands, Rakas made a fist with his own before 'bumping' their fists together. "I'm Rakas." He flashed a smile, before adding "Let's go cause some trouble."
Taking a moment to pause from her drawing, Xia looked up at the familiar face. Smiling brightly the crayons were thrown down as she jumped up to her feet. "HI!" Yeah... Ok so the name was forgotten but the face wasn't. "Mommy said to tank ya next time I saw ya because of da other day...." She started, tapping her chin as she scanned the floor quickly. "Sooooooooo...... AH!" Bending down she quickly scooped up one of the papers and held it out to Risika happily. "You can have dis one."
Bao on the other hand kept her head turned to where Trent had been, having yet to realize the boy had moved... The spot was there still afterall. Sika-chan Kisten frowned a bit, he was doing an adult thing? Risika had always told him that it was nice to shake hands with people you meet, so he figured it wasn't adult, just manners. He jumped slightly as the boy grabbed hold of his wrist, but he stayed put, holding back the gasp that had almost jumped from his lips. He didn't want to seem like a weakling in front of this guy. Rakas, was his name was it? He grinned widely as they bumped their fists together, for he liked the gesture and figured that this meant that Rakas liked him. He nodded, his tail flciking happily behind him. " Lets go," he agreed. Risika knelt down beside Xia and took hold of the paper, looking it over with a smile. " This is beautiful Xia, thank you very much. You've been drawing with your sister?" She glanced over at the other Thule whom she noticed was still staring at the corner. Trent peered at Xia from Risika's shoulder, his eyes slowly losing their frightened look as he slowly became used to Xia's presence and Risika's protection. Ballentine Snickering, Rakas turned and started to lead his new friend off. "I'm so glad to have a boy to play with! I was stuck with those two little girls all morning. I was so bored I wanted to pull my hair out! I'm a growing boy, I need excitement not stupid little girls.' Arms crossed over his chest he casually strut around the outside. Sure he wanted to cause some trouble, but the thought of being with a boy had caused him to lose his train of thought. What should the two of them do he wondered.... Xia grinned and nodded. "Yes Ma'am! Bao and I are drawing 'cause Mommy said to stay outs of trouble. But Rakas is being a big poopy head! He dissn't want to color and said it was boohooing." She huffed, grabbing the broken crayons. "See what he does! He brokes all my crayons." Sika-chan Kisten listened intently, nodding when he deemed appropriate as he walked beside him. " Girls? We don't have any of those at our house. Just my Mommy. Are girls really stupid?" After a moment, Kisten began to hum along with the rythm of the clip-clop form his hooves. Noticing this, he quickly silenced himself and jumped into the air, hovering behind Rakas. Humming around a cool, older boy wasn't...well cool. And he surely didn't want to be uncool. " Rakas?" So that was the boys name. " He called colouring boring? Well that wasn't very nice of him now was it?" She looked out at the broken crayons, frowning softly. How rude indeed. " Maybe there are more crayons in some drawers," she thought out loud. Trent continued to stare at Bao, his brown eyes always calculating and taking things in. What was his risk factor, could he get away easily if need be, or could he stay there and trust his mother to protect him. So many paranoid questions spinning around in that little head.
