The compliment made Lena smile. "Thanks a lot." She felt the desire to pat the girl's back, but she decided against it. "Don't worry, everyone thinks so at first. But once they're here you will be fine."
"Opposites ?" Carlos seemed a bit confused that Tymiko seemed to know his friends. "Nah, we're brothers!" He declared happily and smiled.
"Well actually you're right. The other caretakers and I noticed something similar. They seem to be..."
Lena wasn't able to finish her sentence as Gaspar started to growl. He had understood very well what greedy meant, because it wasn't the first time he'd been called like this.
"I'm not greedy. Dagobert Duck is not greedy. You LIE." He pouted and had managed to identify with his favourite comic person very quickly, just because nobody really seemed to understand both of them.
"Perhaps you should give the relic to the museum ?" Carlos added and put one hand on Gaspar's shoulder to make him calm down a bit.

"Perhaps...after all, I'm not sure what else I can do for it...I'm guessing that they...awaken somehow...but its been with me all this time and it has remained the same. Maybe I'm just not the right gaurdian for it." Tymiko smiled a little, but it was sort of a sad one.
"It was great meeting you all. Um...would anyone know what I should do with it if I were to give it to the museum?"

"It's probably quite complex, I don't really understand it myself yet. You should inform me though, we could talk about them."
"Talking about us ?" Carlos asked and moved his wings slightly whereas Gaspar just decided to snort and cross his arms. He didn't like the gossip thing.
"I bet you're definitely the right guardian, perhaps it just needs some time." Lena gently put a hand on Tymiko's shoulder and smiled slightly. "It was very nice to meet you too, but I think you should keep it. Such things don't come to you without a purpose."

((No problem, it's the same for me. ^^; ))
Tymiko looked up at Lena and returned her smile. "Thank you. Maybe you're right...but then...do you know what I should do to take care of it? If I'm going to be its gaurdian...or their gaurdian, I suppose...I've got to figure out how to care for them properly. Hmm...would you know Lena? Or do you think there's anyone in the museum who could help me? What's the museum for, anyway?"
She peered at the expansive building, pondering its purpose. Someone had directed her her, but why? The girl doubted it was an ordinary museum.

"Perhaps you should just talk to it. Children of all kinds need language and love. I guess they'll grow out of the relic pretty soon then." Lena watched the two boys and sighed. "I have no clue, I haven't been to this place often, but it seems like many guardians come here. The Thule enjoy it."
"Tymiko, it's for Indiana Jones people. They bring old stuff here and people enjoy it." Carlos tried to explain and a grin flashed across his face.
"It seems like these relics come from here, somehow."
"WE don't come from here !"

"Oh! Didn't think of that," The girl realized. "That's a good idea. I'd better do that then!" She giggled.
"Ah, I see. Oh well, I suppose it doesn't really matter. Sorry for asking so many questions! It's just...this place is so...interesting..." Tymiko fingered the relic in her hand fondly, etching its features permanently in her mind, so as to puzzle them out later.
"'Indiana Jones' people?" The boys would not cease to make her smile, it seemed. "I guess people must enjoy old stuff then. Perhaps since you and your brother were once a relic, you'd be considered part of that 'old stuff'?"
She tilted her head curiously as Lena spoke her theory and Gaspar denied it partially. "You don't? Well, then, where would you say you'd come from? I'd really like to hear about it, since I don't really know where I come from myself." Tymiko grinned and winked at Carlos. "See, I'm one of those 'Indiana Jones' people, and I like traveling, but my real search is to find out where I came from. For now, though, I'm just a wanderer who likes finding treasures and meeting new friends."

Lena grinned at Tymiko's speech and wondered what the kids would answer. It didn't take Carlos long to find the right words.
"Um...may be. Where do you travel ? Can you take us with you ? We can help !" His eyes were shining with bravery and excitement, but as he looked towards his guardian he noticed that Lena was shaking her head. A sigh followed.
Strange, she is. Neh, Carlos ? Gaspar asked his brother telepathically and narrowed his eyes once more. That was a good question actually. "From a treasure." He simply stated and crossed his arms in front of his chest accompanied by a sly grin. "Like everyone does. We all come from treasures and the people who find them are the parents."

The pirate girl laughed at Carlos' enthusiasm. "Sorry, Carlos. But don't worry, I can tell you about them. Perhaps one day you'll be allowed to explore them for yourself. It's not that interesting really." Her grin became a sad little smile. "Often, it can be very lonely. That's why I'm so happy when I find great friends like you all."
Unaware of Gaspar's telepathy, Tymiko tilted her head, looking confused. "Is that so? Huh...I wonder how your parent Lena would have looked as a relic then...would she perhaps have had wings and a tail? A twin, maybe? Horns? No?" She leaned forward to whisper in his ear. "Tell me then, oh so knowledgeable Gaspar...who found my treasure, and where are my parents?"

Lena grinned and watched the very amusing scene.
Carlos seemed a bit disappointed, but as she told him about being a good friend his smile reappeared. "You're cool ! I would love to hear the stories, I bet they are soooo awesome."
Gaspar rolled his eyes and his tail was flicking from side to side. "Lena is Lena...she was never small. And you...you...your treasure was deep inside the sea and your parents are fish." A victorious grin spread on his face as he looked right into Tymiko's eyes. He truly had no clue, but after all...she had asked.
Carlos watched Gaspar with disbelief. How was he able to know such things ?

"I'm so cool? What about you guys? You're amazing! And I'd be delighted to tell you sometime!" Tymiko shook her head. "By far, my very best stories are the ones where I find friends like you, and I'm sorry to say those are pretty rare. But when you find them, it's like stumbling across a whole chest of treasure!"
"So, let me get this straight...Lena is one of those people you think are just meant to find relics and loook after them? And...and my treasure came from the sea and my parents are fish?" She smiled back faintly as his amber-gold eyes met with her aqua blue ones. "Is that so...? Well, then...I guess one day I'll have to go back and look for them...but I've been there so many times, and the ocean is so vast, I doubt we'll ever meet again." She sighed, her smile becoming sad. "Thank you, Gaspar. At least I know where I come from now."
Suddenly, Tymiko glanced at her hand. The relic she held began to feel funny. First it tingled, then it sort of...vibrated, like a faint pulse. "I wonder what it's doing," she murmured curiously.

All that vibration soon caused the relic to crack in two. The pieces crumbled to dust, swirling about in a large gust of wind. As the mini tornado began to disappear, two young boys were left in its wake.
Tymiko gasped and took a step back. Then, in her curiosity, she knelt down to get a closer look at the pair.
One boy appeared to be white, with pale blue and gold markings. His sky blue eyes looked around cautiously, first up, then down, then around. Long, straight, golden hair cascaded down his shoulders up to his chest, and a pair of tiny horns stuck out from his head.
The second boy contrasted highly in comparison; with dark teal skin and blue-green markings, he bore not the gold tipped wings of his brother, nor the whispy tuft at the end of his tail. Instead of horns, fins of some sort poked out of his own mane, which was short cropped and slicked back, like an ocean wave. He looked down, then up, then right to left, with a more delicate and refined manner than the quick, urgent ones of his companion.
Both boys' gazes eventually met that of the pirate girl, who couldn't help smiling at their innocence. It was short lived.
"What?" both inquired in perfect unison, thier voices in such harmony with each other, they could have been a choir. The paler complexioned-youth's tone was whispy, slurred, and quiet, unlinke the darker boy's voice, which was slightly richer and somewhat more eloquent.
"Uh...um...hello," Tymiko managed to utter. "I-I'm Tymiko. So...you must be...Dyaus...and Lamar."
The two looked at each other and blinked, as if only realizing for the first time the other was there. "Oh..." Again, in perfect unison.
"Lamar..."
"Dyaus..."
"...hey."
"...pleasure to meet you too," the sea thule added, sounding sarcastic. Perhaps he was a little put off by his brother's rather short, casual greeting.
"Oh! And this is Lena, Carlos, and Gaspar!" she added quickly, not wanting to leave her newest friends out. However, she had misgivings of introducing them so soon to others. Who knew what these children would be like?

Risika walked slowly, keeping her gaze downward. Her attention was directed towards a map she had. The map was a jumble of papers, the folds were here and there, as if she had tried to fold it back to the way she got it, but as most maps go, that never happens. She was only a little lost in the museum, but it really didn't matter to her. She needed to get out, lost or not.
She continued to walk as she noticed the wind pick up. Odd as it was inside of a building, she gave it only attention by the slight turn of her gaze, and it was a good thing she had. She was just about to walk into a group of people. Two humans and two small boys, but these were deffiantly NOT human. As she took in the group she finally took notice of the dust devil swirling around at the feet of one of the human girls.
She stopped walking, not even noticing that her map had been yanked out of her hands. Taking in the small tornado she gasped slightly as it soon revealed two young boys. They were amazing, well those were the only words she could think of at the moment. Were they really what would come out of the relic she had been given?? She placed her hand upon her messanger bag absentmindedly. She had put the relic in there for safe keepng, she was notorious for losing things. She suddenly realized that she was still frozen in place and forced herself to continue towards the group before her.
" Are these you Aduthule children?" Straight to the point. She couldn't help but stare at the white and teal boys, barely sparing a glance towards the green and lavendar boys.

((Just to make things clear, we're just inside the doors of the museum. Perhaps in the main lobby, if it has one, lol.))
"Heh, yeah, I guess they are...Oh!" Tymiko had been so distracted with her the arrival of the two boys, she was startled at the approach of the newcomer. Turning around, she smiled and nodded warmly, once the question managed to register meaning.
"Hi, here!" she greeted cheerfully. "Wow! Are you another Aduthule gaurdian? That's amazing; I just got here myself and I find another new guardian! My name is Tymiko! This is the Aduthule museum, as I've heard. Oh, and these kind people here are who helped me find this place!" she replied, gesturing to Lena, Gaspar, and Carlos.
Dyaus and Lamar had gotten to their feet at this point, dusting themselves free of any debree that remined. Dyaus experimentally flexed his wings before folding them, making a note to try them out later.
Lamar, meanwhile, walked over to Tymiko's side and looked Risika over. Dyaus soon joined them, with a sudden and unexpected, "Do you mind, lady?!"
"It's impolite to stare," Lamar agreed solemly, though with a slightly amused smile.

(( sorrrryyy lol i tried to find out where they were, apparently i didnt try hard enough lol so i just guessed that they were outside *poofs Sika inside liek MAGIC* oh and lena, i have her ignoring yur boys cause i wasnt sure if you'd be joining/continuing with us >.> btw this is wat Risika looks like <3 Xshort story, shes a vamp/demon thing who can be otu inthe sun *shrugs*)) Risika's gaze turned towards the human who seemed to be the gaurdian of the lightly coloured boys. Tymiko, her name was. Risika frowned slightly as this Tymiko spoke so rapidly, but she tried to hide it. She brushed a piece of her hair behind her ear as she stood straighter, extending her other gloved hand out to Tymiko. " My name is Risika." She paused, wondering whether or not she should even mention her nickname. With a Gallic shrug, she added, " But, you can call me Sika." Again her hand swept backwards to her messanger bag, groping it for the relic that was hidden inside of it. " Yes, I am also a guardian. I have an...appointment I guess you could say, here in two weeks." She turned her eyes towards the mueseum that they were in, taking in the building with a smile. " I figured I should visit and get a sense of this place before then." Her gaze shot back down towards the two lightly coloured boys as they called to her. She flashed a fanged grin at the two boys, her eyes narrowing a bit. " Excuse my rudeness my dears." She was being friendly, but had a very sinister look. She didn't mean to be evil, but it was in her nature. HUnters have those tendencies.

((Got it. Oh, and, FYI...Ty's not human. ^^; She's got her own little intricate story, but I don't think I'll get into that...))
Seeming not much more than a child herself, the young girl tilted her head curiously. "You had...an appointment? Oh... I didn't know you needed one..." She blushed in embarrasment. It seemed there was still much she needed to learn. It had taken her quite a while to find this place, and she still felt she would have never come across it if it hadn't been for Carlos and Gaspar.
"Sika," Tymiko repeated to herself softly. "I guess some just call me Ty. Pleased to meet you." Forcing herself to calm down and slow her speech, the girl managed to hide her anxiety. She felt rather inferior around adults such as these, and it constantly annoyed her. She accepted the hand and shook it gently, once, before letting go.At Sika's intimidating glance, Dyaus took a step back and Lamar even seemed to stiffen. Both seemed to share the same thoughts at once: They were certainly glad this demon/vampiress wasn't their guardian. The Tymiko girl who had introduced herself to them didn't seem much older than they were, so she couldn't be that bad...could she? Dyaus still had his doubts, as she was a girl, but Lamar, so far, only found reason to like her. She seemed to have an air about her...an air of one who loved the sea, and who was in touch with the fluent ways of water.
