OMG some people just don't understand... The sign on the door had said STAFF ONLY. Just because security goes downstairs doesn't mean you can follow! But... What could be down there? Something intersting perhaps...

Japi was using all her will power to keep from letting her excitement escape in a squealing sound, and she managed to do so somewhat well by waving her hands around close to her face.

Risika said it was okay to follow, so she did so, taking one final glance at the door's "Staff Only" sign. That just made it more exciting.

Japi followed her new friend's steps, pressing herself up against the wall directly beside her.

Myze had been keeping to herself the whole time, quite content to be by herself. She was intrigued, however, when the seeming earthquake happened and the guards rushed by. Instead of lazing about upstairs, she'd taken it upon herself to head down that way- following after she noticed there were others going in that direction as well. Her plan was that if she was infact caught beyond the 'staff only' sign, she could then claim to be only going after the others.

She was lagging behind the others cautiously, not sure she wants to converse with any of them. Her violet eyes fell on Kanth as she used little care as she opened the door ahead of all the others. It took her a moment to realize who it was, to recall her face. It was the woman who'd given them the coins and origami book, and apparently she was the guardian of Kefka.

Her gaze shifted to the other two, wondering what their reactions might be. Perhaps she could go ahead and follow after Kanth, they all had a common interest, it seemed. These two wouldn't stop her, would they?

Risika frowned as she held out her arm to steady Japi. She couldnt believe that this new girl had snuck up on her, no one sneaks up on her. Her lip picked up slightly as she growled softly, but she stopped suddenly, frowning even deeper as she noticed that she was doing it. Her monster was showing.

She had been listening for others in the basement that she was now in. Yeah that was it. And while she was worrying about the gaurds these new girls were able to sneak up on her. Wait, girls?

Risika turned her gaze back toward the open door and a clear view of the stairwell, catching sight of the night thule that was following them. What was this, a party? At this rate they were deffiantly heading towards becoming the "scooby gang."

Risika sighed deeply. Well at least her senses werent totaly shot. She shook herself mentally then extended a hand out to the thule, waving it to let her know it was alright to approach their small group.

(( *snickers* we'll see XD; ))

Risika tore her gaze from the thule in the stairwell, turning her attention toward Japi. She also wanted to move on and get a good look of what was down here before they got caught or shooed out of the place. She nodded and turned to walk away from the other two with Japi.

If the two wanted to follow they could, but they could also get caught on their own.

Risika paused as she felt something run into her leg. What now? She turned and looked down, catching sight of the small thule that looked fairly much like a tiger.

She smiled as the thule asked why she was down here and she offered the thule her hand, to help her up from the floor.

" Why hello there. Yes we came down here to see what the noise was. I'm guessing you are down here aswell because of it."

Xia smiled as the adult like figure helped her up to her feet once more, reaching back to pat the backend of her kimono as she was worried it had gotten dirty from falling. Her smile all but grew as someone pat the top of her head and she giggled a bit. "I am cute!" She stated, offering her arms up to Japi to be picked up. Surely most kids would be afraid of complete strangers, but if her mother let these people inside the museum they must be ok, right?

"Say say! Can we go find the big boom?" She asked, looking excited over the idea. "It was sooooo big it made the ground shake! I wanna find it and sho---oooooh uhoh.." Xia frowned as shes tarted to glance aroundm lowering her arms for the request. She lost Bao and that boy, what was his name again? She frowned more and let out a small sigh. "I think I gotta go back up first." She stated with a small thrust of her thumb towards the stairs.

Though not a moment later another BOOM came from the basement. Only now the power surged, the lights dimming and returning to the full watt. Xia squealed and covered her hands with her eyes. "Scary!" She cried out, sniffling a bit.

A siren began to alarm, much like a fire alarm but with a different tone. Something was wrong. Majorly wrong! Security guard were rushing towards the trio, one man looking at them with disappointment. "You shouldn't be down here!" He stated, trying to push them towards the stairs once more. "We need to go up. Now."

But they wouldn't make it out. The power cut off and a buzzer rang. Locks clicked shut and the security officer pulled out his flashlight. "Are you three alright?" He asked and sighed. "We're stuck down here until the power returns. It's a security system over ride. When the power is out the museum goes into lock down so no one can get in, and obviously no one can get out." He explained.

Xia whimpered lightly, tears welling in her eyes. "I want my mommy!" She wailed, and without warning ran offf into the darkness. The guard looked shocked, turning to follow as he flashed the light upon the girl.

"Xia wait!" he shouted, but something crossed the light in the darkness, a flash of :

was seen before Xia's scream was heard, silenced by her captor. The guard just stood in shock before he glanced at the two ladies with him. "We must find her..." And find out who that was.

Risika stood still next to the gaurd. She had not moved since she felt the most recent shock wave, and especially when the power went out. She was in no need of the flashlights, her vamp eyes being already accustomed to the darkness.

She had watched Xia run off and had even made a step forward to follow, but was stopped in her tracks at the sight of the creature that took hold of her. And now Japi had even run after the little thule. She was not liking the way this was all turning out at all, whatever had taken Xia was making the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end.

Risika growled softly as she glanced over at the gaurd, her eyes fully dilated and wide like a cats. She had a haunted look to her.

" I suppose you can follow aswell, but if you don't wish to, then don't. The last thing I will need is another body to pay attention to." Cruel, yes, but it was the truth and she ment it in a sense to keep the man safe.

With that out of the way, Risika turned on her heel and ran after Japi, calling after her.

" Japi! Wait for me, we need to stick together!"
