The 'ol' act' was, fairly quickly, thrown aside. The false pout was replaced by one of...not anger, oddly, but embarrassment. "I am not a child! I'll have you know, I'm most likely older and far wiser than you, you incompetant twit!" Her, a child?! Couldn't this brainless bimbo see the maturity of her face, the authority of her stance, and the complete unjuvenileness of her bosom?! Medea had always thought she had rather nice- Medea let the narcisstic thought fade. She shouldn't be arguing with herself.
Subconsciously smoothing her hair back after her outburst, Medea moved on to Kari's second comment. "And perhaps so, but this is Gaia, after all, and I'll bet murders happen every day without the public being none the wiser." Finishing fiddling with her hair, Medea returned her arms to their, apparently usual, position. Crossed. "And when I asked the question, I expected the truth, not some amatuer lie."
((I couldn't resist the 'bosom' thing. XP; ))

"I may not be the smartest person," the thule admitted, "but getting flustered over something like that is silly; my sister thinks it's amusing, actually. You should be proud, that's a pretty big accomplishment!" With that comment, she was probably just adding insult to injury, but she didn't quite notice. In all truth, she didn't notice very many things.
Kari just smiled.
"I'll take you up on that offer, then; how much you wanna bet? And, before you go off asking questions to strangers, how about introducing yourself," she advised, friendly as could be. Either she enjoyed ticking off this girl, who she insisted was a child, or she really was stupid. "I don't know about you, or anyone else for that matter, but I like to know who I'm talking to."

Risika walked into the game room, her gloved hands placed deep within her jacket pockets. She would gaze beside her from time to time to make sure her new companion, Japi, was still at her side.
She grinned and gestured to the room with a nod of her head. " Which game shoudl we try first?"

Despite her best efforts, she left the Duck Hunt empty handed. Her disappointment faded quickly when a low rumbling sound grabbed her attention. Raising an eyebrow, she set the trio of loser ducks back in the water, taking note of which ones they were, so she wouldn't make the same mistake next time.
"Time to explore this place just a little more," she said, taking a look around and overhearing the sounds of an argument near by. It was too much for her headache from the fight the night before.

"Interesting," Murmured Kanth, who snuck in as easily as she could to the games. She was a thief, that much was true; glancing around at the games, she had to laugh.
"Duck Hunt... perhaps I'll try that." Walking up to the booth, she glanced over them, before reaching out to snatch one up.

Risika frowned as she felt herself lose balance. She quickly placed her hand upon a nearby wall to steady herself and spread her legs out to give herself more balance. Was that the ground that shook?
" What the hell was that?" She questioned out loud, gazing around the area to see if any others had felt it aswell or if it was just her imagination.

Japi pranced along right behind Risika. Okay, so right behind isn't quite the right word. Occasionally, Japi would notice something interesting and fall behind to look at it a few steps and then realize her new friend had advanced nearly beyond sight and would have to hurry to catch up. "Game?" Japi began to inspect the different games with her eyes. It startled her when she heard Risika's question. "Huh?" She turned around to see what was the matter.

Was it her imagination?
" You mean you didnt feel the ground shake just now?" She stared at Japi in disbelief, she was certain she felt something.

"Umm..." she blushed. "Not really. I wasn't paying attention." It was the truth. But somewhere back the back of her head, she knew something had happend. She looked around the room for evidence of what it was.

Risika nodded, understanding what Japi ment. She too was known to be so distracted that she could miss just about anything.
" I'm not too sure what it was. But it felt like a small earth quake." She watched as some emplyees rushed by. " But I believe it's being checked out..."

"Oh." Japi watched the employees go by and her body began to drift towards following them, almost by itself. She looked back at Risika a moment and nodded her head in the direction they had gone. "Wanna check it out?" Her curiosity was getting the better of her this time.

Arching a brow, Risika grabbed hold of the back of Japi's kimono, tugging friendly toward the games.
" I think they got it handled. Lets not play Scoobie Doo today."
The truth was that she would have loved to follow them and see what the problem was. But with her relic on her and the possibility of getting kicked out if they went into a forbidden zone, kind of made her choose to do otherwise.

"... hmm." Kanth watched the two walk off, unable to help from feeling left out. Not that she was one to just jump in, anyway.
She wished Ecavi were there.
Shaking her head, Kanth rolled a second dice, frowning. She had felt the shake, too, and she wondered about it...

Japi considered her new friend's advice for a moment, and decided that it was probably a good idea. With one last look after the museum employees, she finally left it alone. As a bit of an afterthought she commented "I like Scooby Doo," and headed toward the goldfish game, gesturing for Risika to follow her with her hand. "Wanna try and get a goldfish?" she asked.

Risika stared after the employees for a moment longer, reconsidering her decision. She always held back from doing things that were fun because she was afraid of the rules. So what if she got kicked out? IT wasn't like they were goi ng to take her relic from her, and her relic was safe and sound in her pocket. It'd have to be pried from her cold, dead fingers. Time for some fun.
" Actually Japi..." She turned toward her new friend, getting a very sly grin on her face. " Lets play some Scooby Doo." It was lame, and she knew it, but who cared.
Whether Japi followed or not was not a concern of hers. So she flip-flopped, but she was pretty sure that Japi would follow regardless. She suffled quickly after the employees, heading toward what seemed to be the basement entrance....
