Megan nodded, less uncertain, "Ok. I wanna help. I wanna show ever'one that I'm good."
She was thinking about her own family when she said that. Maybe her mom would let her live with them again if she realized she wasn't bad!

Charles nodded, ready also to have all of this over with, "We'll have everyone set up soon. I would like to do another training session with everyone, but I'm afraid we're unable to do so right now. I have to meet with your guardians. If you'd like to go to the Safe Haven to play for a little while, go ahead."
He was still kneeling beside Rachel, and now put a hand on her shoulder and whispered, "You don't have to do this if you don't want to. We'd like you to, though. I'll give you some time to think it over. We'll do something real simple for you too, if you'd like."
He stood then and left.
OOC: The rest of this can be another play-session, if anyone cares to follow with character/relationship development. Unless anyone gets a question out to Charles as he's leaving, the official part is over. Charles is now going to speak with the guardians.

Rachel sighed unhappily as she watched Charles leave the room. She glanced around at the other gathered kids. At least they all seemed to be eager to go.
She felt anger bubble up. It just wasn't fair! Why them?! Why her?
She didn't really want to stay much longer so as soon as Charles had left, she jumped up, avoiding the others to go outside and sit somewhere with lots of flowers.
That always made her feel better.
