Character Name: Dawn DaLumos ((Botein, Super Senshi of Amulets))Location: Main Stage Vicinity Dawn ran a nervous hand down her dress even as her sapphire eyes took in the mass of people milling around. There were people dancing and chatting, some were obviously there with romantic partners, and others were just with friends. It was all rather overwhelming for the young woman. It didn't help that she didn't figure her outfit was quite right, even if she was assured that her dress was actually on point for the Roaring 20s. The light green dress was definitely not like many of the jewel tones that were swirling around. "Here! Drink and chill out will you." A cup with a glowing golden color was shoved in her hand and a cursory sniff proved that the fruity colored liquid was alcoholic. "But?" Dawn started to pass the drink back to her companion in a slinky beaded dress. "No buts girl! Your too up tight. Live a little will you?" Her friend shook her head, before she zeroed in on the distant crowd on the dance floor. "I'm going to dance. I'll be back!' "Eve," Dawn reached out after the retreating back. She was there alone, with a drink in hand, and completely out of her element. What now? She was there at the urging of her friend, the same friend who had ditched her to go dance. The strawberry blonde took a hesitant sip of her drink only to find herself pleasantly surprised. Maybe the night wasn't so bad after all. Now if only she could find some way to occupy herself until Eve returned. Eyeing the milling crowd, the young woman sipped from her cup. Quote: Open for any type of interaction ^_^

Character Name: Kaðlín Einarsdottír (Celadon Squire)Location: Main Stage Vicinity It was hard to swallow that weeks had passed since she and Hy-Brasil had gotten ahold of one of the Negaverse's Eternal senshi. Stranger still was the fact that she had no real injuries to show for it — even when she used her magic on one of the few who showed up for Drayson, no retaliation came of it. The whole plan was found out before they finalized what to do with him, and it unraveled so quickly that they had to evacuate before Celadon could fully understand what had happened.
Then they were in space, and that was yet another bitter pill to swallow. She'd been in a daze since then.
Dazed and progressively more uncertain about whether she could learn the true cause of her friend's death. Drayson's answers for her weren't heartening; to hear that the Negaverse seldom, if ever, recorded the identities of those who were starseeded was… Disheartening. She didn't know if her friend was even a person of notoriety to the Negaverse. She may not have had a powered identity at all. Even if she found a more amenable officer, she couldn't give up her best friend's name without coming under great scrutiny herself.
And that's how she lost track of the passing weeks — she got depressed. Dropped to doing the bare minimum. Showered once a week, stopped cleaning, and barely made it out of her apartment on time to attend her job. Her manager had to speak to her about wearing the same outfit four days in a row. But, slowly, she was coming out of it.
Kaðlín made a deal with herself for the night. If she showered and cleaned up the house, she could attend the grand opening of The Gilded Encore. Having a musical venue sounded like a delight, and it gave her something to shoot for when she wasn't whiling away the hours as Celadon. Maybe if she practiced long enough and found herself some like-minded people, she could stand on that stage one day. She could sing something really worth hearing.
Kaðlín arrived adorned in an asymmetrical high-low dress in a simple blush-colored satin, with a few cut-ins at the sweetheart neckline and the start of the hem that sported a pink rose pattern. Paired with the dress were white leather ballerina-style flats with a hand-cut blush leather rose on the top. She'd pinned her hair up herself, which inevitably draped into her face with a few rebellious wefts. And while she felt exposed and a little uncomfortable, she was determined to get the most out of her evening. Preferably with no one hitting on her.
She decided that, of the people in the main stage area, she spotted a pair that were probably safe to be around. After pausing at the bar and ordering herself a champagne flute, she approached a pair (Rowan and Halia) that both dressed like the night sky. It was cute, she decided. She hoped they were cute friends.
Glass in hand, she greeted the pair with a subdued wave. "I love your dresses," she began. "You look like you match."honkzilla last 2 paragraphs are interaction!

Character Name: Eion Risk (Faustite)Location: Lobby Eion handed a folded sheet of paper to a prim and proper-looking ginger boy with a cleverly disguised supple leather fanny pack. He had otherwise dressed quite smartly for the eve — classy enough to look like he belonged, but no part of his button-up shirt and black slacks stood out among the crowd. As he looked down to read the paper in hand, not a single strand of hair budged from its slicked-back place.
Give me a pin, the paper said, in particularly stabby handwriting.
The boy smiled — Eion felt his heart flutter — and spoke a phrase that killed Eion's burgeoning infatuation in the womb. "Sorry," he said. "but the pins are for staff only." He handed the paper back with a polite, if curt, 'go away now' smile.
Eion took the paper back. Beneath his first message, he wrote another, then handed it back more insistently.
The boy looked put-upon, like he wasn't being paid enough to put on a nice Customer Service face for some classed-up twink who got his older sister to do his makeup and outfit for him. Still, he stifled a sigh (and reminded himself that he was doing this to Look Good to a General) and opened up the paper once more.
I'm your boss, it read.
"That's rich," he exclaimed a hair over conversational volume, then chuckled. "No offense, but you're like, twelve. Shouldn't you be with your parents?" With a shake of his head, he handed the note back more forcefully.
Eion took it back again, looking all the more peeved for it. He wrote a last message underneath and handed it back to the staff member without bothering to fold it this time.
Rolling his eyes, the boy looked down at the page again. Instinct told him he should've crumpled it up and tossed it into the bin nearby, but morbid curiosity must've gotten hold of him. He soon found reason to be thankful for it, however, as the scrawl on the page drained the color from his face.
Deny me again and I'll feed your starseed to my youma.
"My mistake, sir," he stammered out. "Here's your pin. Enjoy your stay." As he crumpled the note in one hand, the other fished one of the treble clef pins out of the fanny pack and handed it to Eion.
Eion bumped his flat hand against his chin at the boy. After fastening the pin, he made his way into the establishment proper.

Character Name: Melody Sharp (Eternal Corrupt Aoede)Location: Lobby Dice Roll: N/A People were filtering in and it seemed the absolute giant ( Polarite) her brother had on his team was doing a decent job of checking IDs and stamping people. She knew the names and some of the faces of her brother's team even if she'd never personally met them. Of the first impressions, she was a bit... well not quite prepared for the youngest one. How old was that girl again? They looked like a kid and she offered a small wave to the redhead ( Brassite). Aside from the interesting introduction, she was pleased to see them dressed up. "Hello, America. I look forward to this being a perfect evening. Do have some fun though and let me or my brother know if you have any up-and-coming music stars you want us to invite in the future." Smiling as politely as she could, she kept an eye on the influx of guests just in case. The practiced smile changed as she saw Liam though, her favourite of the family. Well, he wasn't family yet but soon enough and she had no problems bringing him around to nice venues like this. "If you're looking for your fiance, he's in the back but that's for staff only." Speaking apologetically, she did hope her a*****e of a brother would make the time to pop out to see them. More and more people floated in and past, some she recognized and more that she didn't. While it seemed more and more people were getting pins, that meant she'd have to start paying more attention. While being the one up here had its moments, she was already growing tired of the meet and greet. Turning as another woman approached, she tried placing the face to anything but really she couldn't recognize the girl at first. Her assumption of them being new was confirmed by the absolutely polite introduction they offered. "Ah, I don't believe we have. But it seems you know one of my dear friends here." Looking between Sakura and Liam, she wondered if this was the one living in the town home now. "Melody, and it's a pleasure to meet you. I hope you enjoy the venue and put in good work." While she wouldn't shake any of their hands, she remained polite enough after giving the slightest warning in her tone. Not that it seemed many people caused Liam trouble, she much preferred them having a stress-free evening even if he wasn't one of the ones running things. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Character Name: Desiree Location: Bar Area -> Staff Hidden Hallways Dice Roll: N/A Each new face at the bar had Desiree perking up slightly, interested in what type of people would be at this venue compared to the other one she'd gone to. Collecting cups and making sure things were alright in the back end would happen later. For now, she wanted to people-watch until Liam texted her about what his plans were. Watching some of the cups make it back behind the bar, thanks to a few go-getters who were better at the whole drinking and socializing aspect of this, Desiree hopped down from her stool and walked around to make it to the back end. As soon as she made it through the door to the hallways, the sound died out and she sighed in relief. Checking through things on her phone, she made sure the wifi was working before heading down to check and make sure there were no stragglers that had decided to explore the employee-only area.

Rowan smiled warmly and waved at Halia. She hadn’t wanted to pry into whatever caused those injuries earlier, but she still couldn’t help but wonder. And worry. Of course she was going to worry. Still, she was glad that she’d managed to get Halia out of the house, and that she’d let her help her doll up for the evening. “Don’t worry about it, I’m glad you made it! That dress looks great on you, by the way.” The color really suited her, as did the whimsical element the stars added to her look. She could tell that whatever “s**t hit the fan” meant, it was weighing heavily on Halia’s mind and she was fairly certain that she sensed an edge of tension. There was obviously not much she could do about whatever supernatural causes these problems might have, but she hoped that an evening out would help distract her for at least a little bit. The thousands of questions swirling around in her own head could wait, she’d clearly been through a lot and rehashing it was probably the last thing she needed right now. Still, she could try to make sure that she didn’t overexert herself while she was healing and made a mental note to offer to help her around, maybe run some errands, so she wouldn’t reopen any recovering wounds. “Do you want me to grab you a drink or something to eat?”Rowan looked up at the sound of another feminine voice as another young person in a lovely blush dress approached. She appreciated the compliment and fought the urge to preen, smiling at the newcomer, “Thank you! I really like yours too. Um, I’m Rowan, by the way.” She glanced over at Halia, hoping that her shy friend wouldn’t be too anxious.

Character Name: Halia Westfein / Sailor ArunaLocation: Main stage Halia smiled warmly, feeling the anxiety subside for now. She could worry about injuries and negaverse agents later. Right now was supposed to be about enjoying the evening, after all. "Thank you, I'm glad you talked me into wearing it. It... feels a little out of character for me, but I don't dislike it." Her voice was quiet as usual, but loud enough to hear with how close they were standing. At the offer of food or drink, Halia shook her head. "Not yet. I want to look around first I think." Truthfully she wanted to map out an escape route in her head if anything should happen. The scuffle that resulted in the bandaged wounds on her left side had only added to her wary nature, and she knew that she was wound tighter than normal. As someone approached them, Halia gave them a small yet warm smile. "Thank you, Rowan helped me pick mine out, and your outfit is lovely as well." She paused and realized she should also introduce herself. With another small smile, she gave her name. "I'm Halia."

Character Name: Sakura Gojo, Corrupt Sailor AkoLocation: Lobby Dice Roll: 3, 8 If she hadn't already had a suspicion of who the woman was, her introduction confirmed it. "Sakura, and the pleasure is all mine, Melody. Liam and his fiance have both been wonderful to me, so I'm delighted to meet a dear friend." Ah. The game of a** kissing and flattery. Sakura could play this all day. She didn't know why or how she knew this skill, but it felt shockingly natural to her. At the hidden warning, Sakura nodded in understanding. "I am simply happy to be able to help in any way that I can after what they've done for me. And from what I have had the chance to see so far, the venue is positively stunning. I am quite eager to see just how much this place thrives." She smiled warmly, matching polite with polite. It was like stretching muscles that hadn't been used in a while, though the ingrained memory of how to work was still there.

Character Name: Aberdeen Evans(Corrupted Super Meinel)Location: Bar Dice Roll: 4 Now Abby knew she was being ridiculous, but there was no way she was suited to...handing out drinks. However, her general and cousin sent out a message to their family group chat about helping out at a new establishment that was the project of some general she didn't care to remember. Chal?....Kal? Whatever. As she stepped up to the entrance, presenting her ID and receiving a stamp sadly, she made her way past. She was thankful she didn't have to receive her stamp from the big giant that was already walking away, figuring she felt small enough, making her way to where she thought she spotted her cousin and definitely Rene (of course he was at the bar). Abby politely walked to the side of Alex, lovingly poking his cheek. "Alex...Is there really a need for me to serve drinks? There's a lot of people here doing that already." She looked to the taller brunette, "Hello Rene!~"
She would give them both a hug if it wasnt for the fact that she had to be professional and so did they due to working. No matter what her cousin would say, Abby would work on getting drinks for the various patrons around the establishment. It would do good to support her family and it would also make Alex look good if she were thinking about it. She tried to get Ophie to go and attempted to drag or bribe her fiancé to go, but the moment she mentioned suit he told her absolutely no.
Understandable given his apparent dislike of them.
However Abby suggested he could go in a dress instead if he didn't like the restrictiveness of his suit, he had a few choice words for her as well as some sort of veiled threat of something or the other. Yeah yeah, whatever.Character Name: Naoko "Noa" Sugimoto(Captain Saleeite)Location: Main Stage Vicinity Dice Roll: 9, 10 As she saw more people coming into the vicinity, Noa made sure to keep to her rounds, smiling and chatting with whomever she could. It did occur to her that she should try to go see boss Chal, but she could do that after she managed to see if she could wrangle some of the 'wallflowers' she saw in the crowd. Her first stop was to come to a rather pretty young lady sporting a rather aesthetically pleasing dress. Noa made sure to visually see if she had a stamp or a pin before offering refreshments. "Hello!~ Is there anything I can get you?"
She would wait patiently for her answer but also...
Turning away briefly, Noa looked up at Idirian with a smile. His size might intimidate the lady she was talking to but hopefully not. "Well hello there handsome~ Its going pretty well! I was just about to see if this young lady wanted a drink. Did you want me to get you something as well?"

Noa was a host at the club, mainly because her brand of performing would likely have given their General a heart attack. It was cute to watch her tone herself down to save Chal's sensibilities. Still, he loved her the way she was. Gremlin side and all. Catching sight of her near the main stage, Idirian slipped through the crowds with more grace than someone his size should have. "Hey beautiful," he said when he came near. "How's it going in here?"

Character Name: Sanaa Akinjide/ Corrupted Sailor PandabearLocation: Main Stage Vicinity Dice Roll: 4 After presenting her ID to the bouncer and receiving her golden hand stamp, Sanaa found herself clutching her small purse a little too tightly as she entered the venue. The room was alive with energy—laughter, clinking glasses, and a band on stage setting the perfect ambiance. She had been drawn to this place by the flyers scattered around the city, hoping it might offer an escape from the loneliness that came with being new in town. Sanaa’s amber-brown eyes scanned the room, taking in the elegant decor and the mix of people. A small smile tugged at her lips. Even though she didn’t know a soul here, there was something comforting about the buzz of life around her. She made her way to where the main stage was. Sanaa was just looking around the venue. She looked up to see a woman approaching with an infectious smile, her warm demeanor immediately putting Sanaa at ease. The woman’s outfit perfectly matched the venue's theme, and the way she carried herself suggested she was part of the event's staff. “Oh, hello,” Sanaa replied, her lips curving into a polite smile. "At the momnet. I am not sure."

Character Name: Gideon Farllen (Lieutenant Feldspar) Location: Main Stage Vicinity Dice Roll: 5
Post-holiday evenings at the office always tended to run a little long. Not egregiously so, but there was enough to catch up on after having days off during the holidays that required a little extra time. Some were stubbornly and resolutely still leaving at 5PM exactly, so no one would blame Gideon if he did the same, but eeeeehhh… He just didn’t care to keep that close an eye on the time. Anxiously waiting for the minutes to pass over just made the day feel longer- he’d rather be pleasantly surprised that he’d successfully completed another shift, with a couple minutes overtime to boot.
Still, by the time he got out of his Uber at the Gilded Encore, Gideon expected that most of his friends were already inside. Ellian had unilaterally volunteered the both of them (because it was ‘fun work,’ and ‘they’d never been!’), and he’d be surprised if Nataniel and Tanwyn didn’t show up, as well.
‘Fun’ and ‘ work’ definitely weren’t two words Gideon would elect to have side-by-side, but one of the things he loved about Ellian was his enthusiasm, so… this was how he paid for it, he supposed, by being volunteered for 'fun work.'
With a treble clef pin clipped out of sight on the inside of his blazer, Gideon made his way inside. He really shouldn’t have been surprised to see it busy; new attractions in the city always were. But it did make him do a quick double-take at his phone screen, hoping that one of his aforementioned friends at least had the foresight to remember to tell him where they were? So that he wouldn’t have to go hobbling through this crowd looking for them?
But as he pressed onward from the lobby to the main stage area, literally all he had to do was cast his gaze toward the sea of people to be reminded that Ellian was a beautiful rainbow beacon who absolutely did not want to be overlooked- and couldn't be, if he had any say in the matter. Gideon snorted softly in amusement and made his way over.
Aaaand when he got close enough to see and hear their conversation, Gideon considered retreating right there. Hearing, ’That’s how people have healthy relationships!’ and seeing the tense, miffed expression on Nataniel’s face definitely wasn’t the welcome he was hoping for, and he was pessimistic enough to expect some kind of retaliation... But not at him, hopefully? He'd only just arrived! Unlike his beautiful rainbow beacon, Gideon didn’t generally try to antagonize people who barely liked him (Nat did like him, he had to remind himself. They were friends- They were friends, no matter how Nataniel struggled to show it or how Gideon struggled to accept it)… But Ellian was so blasé about dropping Gideon into the same sentence he was using to insult his brother.
He sighed, sauntering up with his cane with plenty of time for them to notice him before he was upon them, and slunk an arm around Ellian’s waist. “Can’t make it ten seconds without thinking of me, huh?” He prompted teasingly, tone light, despite wanting to make sure Ellian knew not to include him in his attacks unprompted.
"Dunno what I'm getting into, and I probably don't wanna know, but I can at least say that there are plenty of ways to have a healthy relationship..." He pinched the curve of Ellian's waist, absolutely not gently, and turned a disarmingly lax look on his boyfriend, despite the physical abuse. "And I know someone's who's pushing the limits of theirs right now..."
------------------------------------------------------------------
Character Name: Eagun Hayes (Lieutenant Ixiolite) Location: Bar Dice Roll: 9
“Ah. I thought you would call when you arrived.”
Since he’d had no pressing matters to tend to at work or at the estate, Eagun had taken it upon himself to arrive early- early enough that the crowd had been on the thinner side when he showed up. He wouldn’t complain, and had taken the opportunity to curiously investigate the venue in the relative peace offered by mostly staff- and thus, Negaverse- presence.
And by the time he had completed a full, leisurely circuit of the building and all its rooms and hallways and familiarized himself with the tools of the trade, by the time he had stopped to listen to music and greet the handful of faces he recognized, by the time he’d perused the private rooms and glanced over the plaques, by the time he made it back to the bar- a familiar, agitated man was seated at one of the stools, fingers drumming away.
Eagun slid into January’s immediate view, leaning against the bar so that there was very little between them. “You should’ve,” Eagun continued. “I’d no idea you were here already.”
Which probably didn’t concern Eagun as much as it concerned January, if that agitated tapping was any indication. But the other was apparently comfortable enough to drink, so maybe it wasn’t all as bad as Eagun had been led to believe.
“What are you having?” He asked, gesturing to the glass.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Character Name: Elias Gage (Page Sawtooth of Saturn) Location: Bar
He’d come with a group of friends. Not his first choice, for sure, but they’d had no babysitter on short notice, and even if minors were technically permitted, there was something about bringing their eight-year-old to a crowded scene with alcohol that seemed… unwise. So Thaddeus had told Eli to ‘take the night off.’ Go out and enjoy himself. No worries.
If it had come from literally anyone else, Elias might have sensed some passive-aggression. But from Thad? He was sure it was genuine.
Which made it all the more disappointing, as far as he was concerned. It would’ve been nice to come out with his husband instead of just his friends. Eli’s mother could be coerced into watching over Teyla pretty much whenever they needed, so it would’ve been mostly a matter of convincing their daughter that she needn’t be upset that she couldn’t join this time… She could’ve been bribed into being fine with it, Eli was sure…
But that was all irrelevant- because it wasn’t what happened. Thaddeus and Teyla stayed at home. They probably ordered Chinese and watched a family-friendly movie, and they’d be asleep on the couch when he came home. Man, just a couple drinks in, and sleeping on the couch sounded pretty nice…
Even the people he’d come with, generally good-natured and rowdy, seemed a little lulled. A couple of them even had headaches. Like, why were all of them, Elias included, acting like such god-damned lightweights. Not because they were getting too old to have a night out on the town, surely? This wasn’t even that rambunctious of an event. It was pretty crowded, sure, but there was shockingly little sweating and gyrating. Too ritzy a place for all that, Eli supposed.
And it was richer than his blood.
He hadn’t gone out of his way to dress for the theme, but as his gaze wandered over the decor and took in the glitzy gowns of some of the other patrons, he couldn’t help but think it would have been fun to get a little dolled up. …His daughter would’ve loved it.
But out with the boys as he was? Nah. Better to just slam down a couple drinks and scope the place out.
They’d been having a good time. From where they sat, the music from the stage wasn’t deafening, and nobody around them was doing anything besides chattering amongst their own groups. It wasn’t even especially late. So it was just a downer that their whole group of not-even-middle-aged men was starting to feel lackluster. A downer and a bit strange, like, if the conspiracy theorist in him wanted to have a think about it- but, eh. No reason to think on it too much.
Weird s**t happened in Destiny City all the time. And this? A little drowsiness and headache? Easily manageable.
From a high table near the bar area, Elias peered around until he made eye contact with a tall, blond boy who looked like he was doing his best not to be perceived. A silver pin glinted on his shirt, which Elias had been led to believe signaled a working staff member. “Hey, you- yeah. You. Bring us some waters.”

Maybe. Definitely. "Anything in particular you two would like? I'd be happy to get it for you." He didn't see a pin on the girl, just a golden stamp that meant she was old enough to drink.
