Let's see, the first question is: Day 1 - What holidays do you celebrate in December?
We are celebrating "saint Nikolaus" (he shows up together with Krampus to scare the little kids) on the 6th of December, "Christmas" on the 24th of December and "Silvester" on the 31st December here. The 25th and the 26th are public holidays which I like very much because who doesn't like a day off? biggrin
Now I'm looking forward to see what everybody else is celebrating in December whee.

My mom's pagan, hubby's wiccan, and I personally love the aesthetics of traditional christmas. xP So yeah it's a hybrid! Sadly no yule cat though haha.

yum_puddi I celebrate Christmas/Yule on a much smaller scale than most others.. We don't put up a tree or hang up lights, but we cook a large meal and play dirty santa or give loved ones small gifts. Also celebrating new years eve usually by making something warm to eat and drinking a bit of alcohol with friends.
