Class Quest Solo
The Belrean taverns were quite different than those in Kahikina. First off, there were so many more people here, so the amount of taverns were much more frequent than the small little watering holes back home. Often times she would settle herself in a dark corner, the candles illuminating her notebook as she reviewed her notes and added additional things to make sure she wouldn't forget them. Sometimes strangers would join her, asking questions about her life and offering answers of their own. Often, she was alone in her own world, happy with the stories she documented in her well-worn notebook.
These were the moments that she knew that her choices were correct. Sure, it was scary to be traveling across the world like this. She was alone, and her choices were all on her shoulders. Any repercussions she was forced to deal with on her own, be them positive or troublesome. Thankfully she seemed to have the correct head on her shoulders and a bit of luck on her side, further reinforcing her decision to get out and and see the world. She had learned so much on her trip across the ocean, already soaking in the culture and the stories from the locals.
She caught herself even taking on their mannerisms, picking up little trinkets and tools to further help with her travels. She felt like a mix of Kahikinan and Belrean, almost as if she were working undercover. Well as undercover as silver skin and teal hair could be in the warmer colors of this culture.
Brushing her fingers over the crumpled and well-worn papers before her, she knew this would be the first of many stories. She closed her eyes and dreams of how her name would be on bookshelves across the lands, of the stories she would tell and the part she would play in the history of the world.
Yes, this was the right path, and she was ready to see where it would take her.
