Erytheia appeared under the Erythrina tree, its red blooms the color of flames. It had earned its nickname, the flame tree, from its appearance. Like a tree on fire, it was easy to spot from a distance. But it also shared a root with his own name.

From the Earth knight who appeared to recognize the tree to the young senshi who clearly did not, there were many who had heeded the call. More than Erytheia had believed would come. It had been an urgent call and he had spent most of his time since on his wonder monitoring growing miasma that had tainted the land’s winds.

But he found only one person, a fellow knight of the Cosmos, that he knew. It had been a few years since he had left and perhaps many he had known before were gone.

“I wished I was not calling you under such circumstances.” The young man looked small next to the tree and he leaned on his bow that also looked too big for him. “I am Erytheia of Cosmos. There is not much time, I’m afraid, for proper introductions.”

He looked like he hadn’t sleep in many days.

“On Erytheia, my wonder, there has awoken a Chaos Seed. I fear something has caused it to wake from its dormancy. My ancestor said as much.”

He looked down, solemn.

“My bow is made from the tree that now houses the Chaos and I cannot prevent pierce the barrier with my arrows.”

Would it work as Yuki had said? Could he get them all to his wonder by using the tree as a conduit?

“All who wish to come, gather round this tree here and hold hands. I’ll…. I’ll do my best to get us there in one trip.”

Varuna was quiet, and kept to herself as the others started to gather around her. Ganymede was still missing, and it didn’t look as though anyone who had shown up to this call were worrying about a missing Princess. It was probably better that way. Causing a panic would be bad, but finding out people didn’t even care would be worse.

Others chatted with each other, even as the Knight of Cosmos told them to gather and hold hands. They were talking about things like Chaos Seeds and ice cream.

Varuna felt her stomach twist uncomfortably. It was difficult not to let despair eat away at her and consume her quicker now in the company of those who were so casual about everything. Almost as if this was a game to them.

There was another young woman there who was keeping to herself, and Varuna couldn’t help but gravitate towards her. She seemed familiar somehow. Maybe they’d crossed paths over the years.

Asked to hold hands, Varuna reached down to gently take hold of Perdita’s. As Erytheia said, there wasn’t much time for proper introductions.

Læraðr hated that he'd been unable to deal with his secret, second life as a Knight fighting Chaos, what with his grandmother being sick. He'd been trying to keep the ship afloat at home and struggling with it.

But he'd been able to get away for a moment, hopefully to visit his Wonder—only for a couple of messages to tumble in from his ring. He sighed.

"There ain't no rest for the wicked," he muttered under his breath as he jogged over to where everyone was gathering, and made his way over to Hyperborea, Delphi, and Caer Sidi, who he gave a shy little smile too.

"Alright, then. Ready to go kill some s**t?" he asked, giving a cocky grin.

Hati had been out on a short patrol before his and Skoll's date with Asmodeus tonight, hoping to make sure things were clear and nothing would make the night go wrong while they had a nice dinner out and everything would just go smoothly and wonderfully.

But no. Some s**t just had to be going down, and of course he just felt like he had to help, so he Senshi phone texted Skoll and Asmodeus that he was heading over there to help. So much for date night, but this was really important.

He arrived late for sure, seeing how many people were already there, and looked out for Skoll and Asmodeus.

Ara had been planning to travel to her world to continue her quest for the ancient artifacts of her people but those plans were dashed when the call for help came in. She wasn't about to ignore chaos trying to take root in someone's wonder so she put her phone away and started making her way towards the park where the knight had told people to gather.

There were already a good number of other fighters gathered. She waited for the Knight in question to explain what had happened to his wonder. She didn't have to wait long as the Cosmos knight soon spoke up. A chaos seed sounded bad, she hoped this fight wouldn't go as bad as the last big battle she had been in did. Still she was determined to get stronger and prove herself useful to Order.

She had let Charybdis get ahead of her and reach eternal first and while she was proud and happy for her younger friend she was determined to catch up which meant proving herself. With those thoughts she ready herself to teleported to where ever the Knight's wonder was located. She had never been to Cosmos wonder so she had no clue what to expect.

Arthuradel was happy to answer the call for aid, any chance to help eradicate Chaos in all of its forms she'd gladly take. She hated Chaos now, not that she ever liked it but after seeing it cause so much harm in the Battle on the Hill, after it took Guinevere, she wanted to see it destroyed. She knew that goal was a long way off but at the very least she could help stop a new small section of chaos from growing.

So she headed to the park to the tree that was suppose to be the meeting place. There seemed to be alot of people already there. That was good the more people the quicker this chaos could be eliminated. She wished her attacks had a bit more bit to them to be able to be of more help but she would still do her best against whatever was waiting on this wonder.

The Knight of Cosmos who had called them all there spoke of a chaos seed. That sounded bad she didn't want to know what this seed would blossom into if left alone. She hoped the collective group could obliterate it before it had the chance to become anything even more terrible.

Perdita could not dredge up a smile, or an irreverent joke, or any approximation of enthusiasm, not when the world felt wrong somehow, tipped off its axis or otherwise broken. The most she could manage was neutrality — a blank expression to offer nothing of what she knew about recent tragedies, and mild interest for the Knight who called them here.

Then, two friendly faces, vaguely familiar, perhaps, in the way faces were when she saw them in similar crowds but had no chance to interact. Perdita could not recall their names with any confidence, but their company was welcome all the same.

“Hello,” she said to them both, quiet and shy, but relieved, too. “I’m Perdita.”

She got a sense of sadness and solitude from Varuna; Perdita gave her hand what she hoped was a comforting squeeze. To Kerberos, she offered as much of a smile as she could manage under the circumstances.

The threat of Chaos was no laughing matter. It never had been. As a child Senshi, she’d faced the atrocities of war with some combination of precociousness and detachment. Now, she faced the trials to come with resignation.

Super Sailor Skoll

It had been so long since the three of them had had a date night that Skoll was excited and antsy for it. First off, being able to squish Asmo between herself and Hati? Perfection. She adored the tiny senshi her twin had found in his life, and even more so after the whole Velencian generator debacle. She was adorable and at perfect chin-rest-on-head height, but could also kick Skoll's a** if necessary. It was great.

Second, Skoll had literally been vibrating for days about the dude she'd met in PetsMart, but hadn't had the time to talk to both of them at once. Because Skoll was definately down with that man, but she also was absolutely convinced he was a powered individual. He lifted the cat litters like it was nothing!!! Just think what he could do to her!

The universe, on the other hand, was decidedly in the 'hard pass' category for date night however. At least she worked the night shift tomorrow so she could pass out after dealing with whatever manifestation of Chaos was on this world. Made her want to check out her own homeworld again - given the last time, it seemed like things hadn't ended well.

Skoll arrived a few steps behind Asmodeus, coming up behind her and squeezing her around the middle. She flashed a grin at Hati, and took her place on Asmo's other side.

"Too bad about date night though," she said with a sigh.
