Lieutenant Carnallite
HP: 50

Carnallite left the back of one of the spider youma and took stock of her surroundings. Naturally, her attention was first caught by the strange youma they were after, already different in appearance than it’d been described upon its discovery. She took note of those already engaged in battle against it, and would have been impressed by their survival if the disorganized nature of things didn’t give her pause.

Almost immediately, Carnallite was reminded of the last large scale battle she’d taken part in. Few people had an inclination toward strategy then; she’d hoped a mission like this would be different.

Though she summoned her boomerang, Carnallite did not immediately attack. She observed the environment — the cliff face, the pathways, the distance below — as well as the youma’s attack patterns, any apparent weaknesses, which methods of attack seemed to be most effective.

---

Lieutenant Roselite
HP: 50

Roselite didn’t like the idea of riding a youma up the cliff face any more than he liked the idea of climbing it himself, but ride the youma he did. At least this way was less exhausting.

Somehow, a spider-like creature large enough to carry a full grown human was less creepy than a normal sized spider. It reminded him of an oversize Halloween decoration, so ugly it was almost cute. Roselite gave it one of his usual timid smiles as he dismounted, then turned his attention to the bat youma that was no longer a bat.

He kept his distance, wary of drawing too close when there were already agents rushing in to attack. With his useless butter knife, he’d only get in the way. He had the bracelet Captain Bloodstone gave him, of course, but Roselite preferred to save its power for emergencies.

So he crept away from the edge of the path, put more distance between himself and immediate danger, and did what he thought he was good at: he studied the creature.

Lieutenant Reidite
HP: 50/50
Suspecting that the legs are weak/can be broken

Reidite shielded his eyes as the senshi with the exposed midriff sent spinning fire from out of nowhere, and muttered a few quiet curses in Russian just because he could. It was a comfort thing at this point.

“Do you have magic like that? Seems useful,” Reidite nodded as he hovered protectively around Cymophane. Thanks to General Lopezite’s help, his shoulder had been bandaged up and the porcupine quills were gone. He was lucky he found probably one of the only Generals who had dogs who’d had run-ins with the spiny creature and knew what to do and not just yank them out.

“I bet those legs would break easily. Like a crab. Weak at the joints. Same with those claws,” he nodded and kept his hands on his hips as he observed while the others rushed in to attack. They’d already moved about this area. They were lucky the mist wasn’t so thick, otherwise they would be in for a lot of unwanted surprises.

Captain Bloodstone
HP: 75/75

“I would have thought it’d use its claw to snap at that Captain,” Bloodstone said to Carnallite as they arrived where the fight was only just starting, watching as the youma used its claw to knock the Captain away instead of snapping around him. With claws like that, Bloodstone suspected it would definitely be enough to crack bone, if not rip a limb clean off.

“Not very organized,” he criticized, looking from the group standing around and observing, which included themselves at the moment, and the group that was attacking already. He supposed there was no chance to plan when they didn’t know what type of creature the youma would have morphed into, but this was why preparing for anything would have been important. Along with who would attack first, who would observe, who would defend.

But he was just a Captain and not asked to be in charge of things. He only followed the orders of others. For now.

Roselite was at least keeping his distance, which was good. He didn't want to see him knocked off the paths.

Corrupt Eternal Kamacite
HP: 100/100

Kamacite was exhausted, but the sight of some of the missing agents attacking the youma gave him the smallest amount of relief. Not really thinking about how he had just been holding onto a youma that resembled a spider, he weighed his options while trying to keep his allies out of danger.

His arm had been properly wrapped at least. There wasn’t anything more he could do to it other than just let it heal and join his collection of scars along his arms. He also wanted to be careful about being up so high, because if they fell, well…

“It already changed,” he said to himself, frowning helplessly at the youma they’d been searching for for so long. Maybe this time they had enough people with them to finally gather its scales.

General Aquamarine
HP: 100

Worse than relying on potentially incompetent officers to hunt for a youma that didn’t want to be found, worse than camping with potentially incompetent officers while said youma lurked about, changing its form, was the prospect of subduing the youma with the aforementioned potentially incompetent officers treating a skirmish like some sort of pellmell ******** of an encounter.

Aquamarine had not slept. He tried and failed, riddled with too much anxiety to do more than lay there with his eyes closed and wish for the comforts of his own bed. Thus, he remained in a strange mood, which was better than a bad mood but not exactly ideal for combat.

“What do you think, then?” he asked, low, so his voice wouldn’t carry, standing side-by-side with Jet, sliding his hand out of Jet’s grasp as soon as they were both steady on their feet. “We go for its legs? Immobilize it?”

Aquamarine summoned his rapier, but watched the first few attacks, keeping himself out of the line of literal fire one of the Corrupt Senshi unleashed.

Corrupt Cymophane
HP: 50
Damage: 4 x 10 = 40

Cymophane stuck near Kamacite, who could normally handle himself, but who was also still injured, watching out for him in case Kamacite felt the ridiculous need to put himself in danger out of an obligation to help his friend.

His loyalty was commendable, but Cymophane wished Kamacite would look after himself sometimes, too.

Naturally, Reidite had to hover. (Not that Cymophane was complaining. The more Reidite hovered, the less likely Reidite would be to get himself into trouble.)

Cymophane rolled his eyes at him. Fondly, but still.

“I don’t have fire, obviously, but I like to think what I do have is just as useful.”

To demonstrate, Cymophane put himself within range (to Reidite’s chagrin, no doubt) and cast his magic on the youma.

Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Leopard’s Strike
Three long, black claws of energy grow between Cymophane’s fingers. Though he does not have to make contact with an enemy to cause damage, a swipe directed at them will result in torn clothing and the sensation of lacerations to skin. The sensation of pain will last for 30 seconds and has a range of 8 feet. At player discretion, the character can take lasting damage such as mild injuries that are deep enough to scar if desired, but not so much as to be immediately life threatening. The magic can be used three times.

Lieutenant Eveite
HP: 50/50
Damage: 5 +3 (tracking) = 8

There hadn't been too much time for talking. Although she knew what time it was by looking at her tablet, it felt like they hadn't been here all that long. Or at least the rest period had been comparatively short against what they had done while tracking. She felt that they could have had at least another couple of hours, but before she even realized it and only after filling her stomach with as much as she could, without the possibility of suffering aches afterwards, they were already headed off.

On spider youma.

Was that literally the only mount they could find for this place that could work?

She didn't mind spiders, but why were there so many? one would think that most Youma were unique, but here they had... spiders.

And before she even realized it, they were upon what she assumed to be the Youma. She wasn't sure. It had some of the same coloring as the bat, but it looked too different. However, it appeared to be attacking some other Agents, no idea how they got there, and it seemed that they were now going to battle. She could already feel the aches coming on. This would not be an easy one.

Once again there was no relying on her weapons, therefore she would have to use whatever she could that was in the surrounding area to throw or stab at it. Throwing had to be done now though, as she wasn't sure if anything was broken enough to use to stab. She grabbed something off of the ground and threw it at the Youma.

General Arsenopyrite
HP: 100/100
Damage: 4

Arseno almost woke up yelling when they had to get up and go on the move again. The sleep that he had been so desperately wanting had felt as though it had gone by so quickly. As though he had just set his head down and they were once again on the move.

It just wasn't fair!

Still, they had to press on. And Arseno made sure to grumble under his breath that once they got out of all of this that he would sleep for an entire day.

Their mounts that they somehow had gotten appeared to be spiders, and he took a quick look around to see if Beni was panicking. Unfortunately it was too crowded to tell and his brain still hadn't quite caught up with the horrible release from sleep.

They made their way up, and he almost feel asleep a few times, with only some elevation changes that woke him up, and soon they came upon some Agents battling a Youma. Thing looked gross to his tired brain, but then again, most of them did. No one could say that Ödön was a looker.

Ödön had been perched on his shoulder most of the time, looking around and digging it's claws in when it needed to to keep itself on his shoulder. It flew up once again when they finally found the Youma. At least it didn't appear to be able to catch Ödön at this point, but it wouldn't go near the other, the General had commanded it and unless he said something differently, Ödön would not engage. But he would stay here with him.

Not like it had anything better to do anyway.

Super Sailor Fulgurite
HP: 75
Damage: 1d8
Magic:
* * * Spring Water Eruption! (3/3)
* * * Raging Spring Water! (2/2)
DMG: 4

"Prehn!" Fulgurite didn't care if a nickname was appropriate or not; he winced when one of those who had jumped down with him had gotten himself rudely punted toward the edge of the precipice. "Watch it!"

Did telling Prehnite to watch it mean that Fulgurite watched it?

No, of course not.

Instead, he kept trying to punch it.

Super Corrupt Miyamoto
HP: 75
Damage: 8 (Not using magic.)

Why they had ridden on the backs of spider youma he didn't know, he really didn't, but it wasn't that bad. For a moment he thought oif white walkers on spiders that were undead. He couldn't much help but think such a thing - it even had him smiling a bit. When they did arrive, and he climbed off the youmas back, he took a quick look about at things. It seemed the youma they were after had decided he didn't like his previous look, for whatever reason that was, and a change was needed - fancy that. So it had decided to do just that - change it's appearence. "How annoying..." Simple words and cooly spoken.

He knew his magic wouldn't do anything against the youma as he arrived on the scene, his magic was some sort of emotional bullshit. There was no way that would work against a youma, and even if it did he wasnt' sure he wanted to try it, so instead the super corrupt senshi went for grabbing a chunk of crystal and hurling it at the youma. He had decided to try and aim for where leg met body, or there abouts, as it seemed the best option. If you could stop it from moving it could hopefully be kept from fleeing.

Super Corrupt Valeria
HP: 75
Damage: 6 x 10 = 60

She had been bouncing from awake, and watching things, to sleeping as she and the general had been keeping shifts in order to help anyone who might need it. More importantly though they'd been keeping a watch on things, to see if things changed, so when they were todl they were moving out...on the backs of spiders she was somewhat rested. At least she had some sleep.

The climb on the backs of spiders was certainly an interesting affair but it wasn't a bad one per say - just interesting. When she did get off the spiders back it was to see others already attacking their target. It seemed the large youma was trying to toss people and deffend itself. The problem, for the poor youma, was that they needed something fro it and they needed to fight it in order to gain that something. As she drew closer to the youma the corupt senshi decided to attack, like some others seemed tgo be doing.

"Strike the mind." Her magic at least would do something, it would help others, since it wouldn't cause direct pain to the youma. It might even help them get what they needed.

Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Mind pause.
Here Valeria places her index and middle finger to her right temple and calls her attack. Flicking her fingers toward her enemy a dark pink ball of light is tossed/flicked at the enemy, the person must be within ten feet of her, and upon hitting them inflicts upon them a sort of absent mindedness. They suddenly can't think or form a thought and are left standing, sitting, or laying right where they are until the magic passes. It can, of course, be dodged and a good shake, hit, or anything else inflicted upon the victim of Valeria's attack will shake them from this stupor. The attack, if not broken, will last twenty seconds and can be used three times in battle. She is able to strike someone up to a 10ft range in front of her.

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Strike the mind.
Like the last time Valeria places her index and middle finger to her right temple and calls out her attack. This time when she flicks her fingers toward the enemy the energy is a slightly darker pink hue. Hitting the enemy, if it hits the enemy, it will inflict the same absent mindedness from before only this one is harder to shake the victim from. The range this time is 15feet but it can only hit the one target. Also, this attack lasts forty seconds and can be used twice in combat.

General Faustite
HP: 100/100
DMG: 1d10

Exhausted and starving, Faustite was not at his full when the group reached their final confrontation with this youma At first he thought it a trick of the mind, or the youma, that he saw part of the failed Interrogation group confronting it already, told himself it couldn't be so. But reactions from the teammates that he traveled with proved it wasn't a trick of the mind, at least. He wasn't ready to discount a youma's illusion.

He wasn't certain what to do with himself, either; he watched dully as one of Taenite's fire tornadoes whipped about on its own and threatened friendly fire, and assumed that could just as easily be him. And the latticework paths? Fewer and fewer routes for attack while avoiding area attacks like Taenite's and his.

The knot in his stomach hadn't unwound, either. Expression grim, he approached the youma, approached the burgeoning scene.

You haven't done enough, he told himself. Come up with a plan. Do something so other people aren't tolerating your slack.

But his thoughts were empty. Void of clever witticisms and tactical turnabouts. He set his jaw, frowning.

Lt. Thorite
HP: 50/50
DMG: 5

Thorite was hating just about every second of this. First the spiders, now the creepy youma they'd been trying to track down this whole time. Not for the first time (and certainly not for the last time), he wished he hadn't come along. This sucked. Even with the sleep he had managed to get in this insane place, he still felt tired and out of sorts. Like he shouldn't be here. G-d, he didn't want to be here.

But here he was, so he'd have to fight this stupid thing and hopefully it would fall quickly and they would all get to go home so he could rethink being a Negaverse Agent in peace.

He snapped a kick at the creature's leg without really thinking about what it was covered in. Armor. Probably didn't do too much to it, but that wasn't his immediate problem. There were plenty of people here to figure out the right way to injure and capture it without hurting everyone else, hopefully. He could provide a distraction, maybe.

Lt. Arsenolite
HP: 50/50
DMG: 7

Arsenolite loved being here. Maybe he was a little weak as a lieutenant right now, but he would grow eventually, and he relished the thought. The youma fascinated him and he wanted to know more. Go deeper, as it were. He longed for his own youma, which he would get the second he got promoted to Captain.

Grinning wickedly at the youma they'd been following, he took a stance some distance away and flung a rock for one of its eyes from his slingshot.

[General Amazonite
HP: 100/100
DMG: 5]

Amazonite was unhesitating. Their quarry was before them, and she meant to attack. There was simply no reason to do anything less. They wanted scales, after all, and her claws could perhaps rend through its outer armor and get at whatever might be underneath.

This was exciting, a chance to test herself and her new abilities against a powerful beast.

[Captain Marialite
HP: 75/75
DMG: 2 + 3 [Armed Strike] = 5]

They were supposed to collect scales. Marialite remembered the instructions; there was something special about them, and she wanted to get her hand son a few. It wasn't a mission for Hessonite, but just because it wasn't for her General-Queen didn't mean that it wasn't important.

The strange bat-thing was their target, it seemed, and she moved for it quickly, striking with both knives out and grinning like a madwoman. She would take some scales home. She would. Any successes she had further proved that she deserved to be here and, simply, Marialite knew that she deserved this. She ought to have more power, too, even; she would love to be a General, to demonstrate that she belonged right here in the Negaverse.

So she would carry out her orders, with eagerness and blades, and she would make sure that she shone. The Generals here would carry back a good report on her; even if they didn't, her results would speak for themselves.

The youma needed to be weakened, surely, in order to get at the shining scales they were after. But that was what knives were for, to make sure that her prey was picked apart.
