Weapon in hand, it's time for you to begin your adventure out of this place. State of the art facility or not, it's clearly been seized by the Negaverse and you didn't sign up for that!
Dr. Hadly is already at the door, ready to lead the group to safety. Unfortunately, the moment he pushes against it, he is met with resistance. You are welcome to try and help him shove the door open, but he clearly is struggling. Someone has managed to lock it and from the looks of things, Dr. Hadly does not have the appropriate key on his keyring to help.
His voice has a tinge of desperation to it. "Can anyone help me figure this out?"
Do you:
Option One
Continue slamming your weight against the door in an attempt to get it to loosen the lock.
Option Two
Search the sterile tables for something to jimmy the lock with.
Shar was more than happy to start beating on the door, trying to force it out of place. This- this whole thing was so ******** stupid. This door was stupid, and Shahar was many things, but not a lockpick, nor a carrier of them. All she had to offer was a lot of loud cursing in Arabic, fantastic hair, an unhesitating punch to the face of anyone who tried to get in her way, and some muscle. Three of those four were relevant to the situation.
She could always try and kick the handle off, but if this was the wrong kind of door, that might just trap them in here forever.
Derrick wasn't one to look around for keys in such a dark place. What good would it do anyway considering he could barely see anything? Nothing in his mind. And so he decided to help a few others with trying to physically force the door open. Unfortunately the oxygen tank didn't really seem to be doing anything, and so he had resorted to throwing his weight against it.
Mei looked over her shoulder towards the near frantic doctor. “Stay with me ok? I am going to see if we can find something to help open that door.”
“Hannah?” The glazed over far off look in her eyes seemed to fade as she snapped back into the here and now yet the creme haired young woman refused to move forward until she knew that her friend was with her.
Still not all quite there Hannah numbly nodded her head. The frantic voices sounded distant, murmurs like bees buzzing round her head. Non distinct conversations that meant next to nothing to her as people took up arms with whatever they could get their hands on.
“Come one, lets go look over there.” Mei grabbed ahold of Hannah’s wrist and lead her over to the tables to look for something to use to unlock the door with.
The door was locked? ********. Great. Of course it wasn’t going to be easy to just walk on out.
Sid chewed at her lower lip as she shifted from one booted foot to the other, at a loss what she was supposed to do now. Despite her history of having sticky fingers, she’d never made the ‘big leagues’ of being able to pick locks… and there was no way her slight weight was going to do anything to that door.
It looked as though some people were trying to get the door open, which would be great because being stuck in this place was really not a good thing, not when there was a General throwing threats around.
“Jericho, could you try to help with the door?” he asked, glancing up at his much taller, more muscular friend, knowing that if anyone could break through the door, it would be Jericho. In the darkness it was a little difficult to see what was going on, and he gave a concerned glance in Cassadega’s direction, before turning to move to the tables nearby to look for something useful.
He was really trying not to look irritated that he didn’t know about any of this. It was dangerous not to clue others in the Negaverse into things, even if it was supposed to make things seem more realistic. It would definitely seem as though they weren’t involved if they didn’t act as though they knew what was happening.
But Ilian had people there he worried about. Even as a General, he could only do so much as a civilian.
As she'd been instructed to keep close, Cass idly followed where ever Ilian felt like leading them. When they'd approached the door, she looked at it curiously and then watched them struggle. While she could have offered her help, there wasn't much she could do that someone else wasn't already doing.
So, instead, Cass chose to stand there and look pretty while the boys did all the work.
Bored, even if she should have been concerned for her safety, the woman inspected her nail polish for chips. Finding none, she hummed and glanced over to see if anything had changed.
Jericho Cross { Broken Wheelchair FragmentDealing with the door
Jericho had only nodded to Ilian's quick request, moving to try and assist the doctor, and others, in opening the door. Even when he put his weight behind it though, he questioned how much they were actually... affecting anything?
The hell was even going on around there?
"Look and see if you can find anything useful," he said to Cabhan, before looking to Cass with a smirk. "You realize that's the sort of s**t that people do in horror movies that gets them killed right?"

Cabhan Douglas { Phone Cord & Phone } Searching the tables
He'd no qualms with running off and trying to find stuff to help out, looking over at the tables to see what could be used. If anything. Though Jericho's comment about what people in horror flicks did made him snicker. Really, all of this was like a horror movie plot but. He wasn't quite sure yet who was going on the correct path to survive. And who was heading towards death.
But they'd find out sooner or later, right?

RESULTS:
Option One:
You continue to throw yourself against the door and fail to do anything but make your arm sore. Ow. You ain't the Incredible Hulk, son.
Option Two:
You start rummaging around in the dark for something on the table to help with the door. You don't expect to find keys, but you do manage to find a curious looking device that seems like a decent lock pick. You hand it over to the good doctor and congratulate yourself for the success.
Option Three:
You chose to stand around and look pretty. Although you may appreciate your own uselessness and physical appearance, you have provided no assistance towards your own escape. Shame on you.
As you stand near the surgery table and watch the others, you feel a sharp stab-like pain in the back of your leg. You jerk forward and look down...sure enough, there's a precise looking slash above your calf, almost as clean cut as if a surgeon had performed it. You look around and under the table, but see nothing.
You decide it's probably best to stay closer to the group.
Dr. Hadly gratefully accepts the sterile device and leans down, poking through the lock with the object. In a matter of moments, the lock is pried open and the group is able to make it into the hallway.
All twenty-one of you pile into the dark hallway, where your fearful tour guide glances one way, then the other. It's as if he's debating his own decision - and rightfully so. Who knows what could be lurking down either direction?
To the right is uncharted area, a hallway you've yet to come down on your tour.
To the left is where you came from... but upon closer inspection, you notice that the hallway is no longer empty. It appears there are two dark, shadowy figures standing directly in the middle of the hall, blocking the doors.
What do you do?
Option One
Shadow people? UH, NOPE. Time to head right!
Option Two
Time to investigate the strange silhouettes in the distance. You ain't afraid of no ghost!
Someone else was good at jimmying locks, and rubbing her sore arm, Shahar pressed her fantastic hair out of her face and continued cursing up a storm in unhappy Arabic.
Luckily, the door opened next, and as they spilled out the door, she looked each way up and down the hall. Instinct turned her left, to go back the way they had come- but she paused, staring at the two figures in the hall.
She came from a land of superstition- and she did not mean Egypt. Those two were like the ******** Shining twins, and could possibly be youma or worse. She would stay away, thanks.
“Aghh!” Hannah yelped in startling surprised at the sharp pain the pierced the back of her leg unforgivingly. What? she spun around, regretting the action as her leg nearly gave out from under her. “M-mei…” Her voice trembled uncontrollably. Her eyes widened when she felt warm blood trickle down the back of her leg.
Hearing her name called out she turned around only to see the stricken look on her friends face. “T-there’s something in here.” Frantic glances around the surgery table yielded no answers as to what exactly that something was. “I swear it, I-I didn’t move, I’v-ve been right here. Some-something cut me.”
At a loss, Mei grabbed ahold of a fistful of fabric hanging over the side of the surgery table and lifted it to look beneath. Nothing. A glans to the both sides revealed the same thing; there was nothing under the tables. Everyone the came into the room with was currently by the door as their host tried to unlock the door. was hiding. “I don’t see anyone. Could something have fallen off the table.”
The question remained unanswered as the doctor managed to get the door finally opened and members of their group began spilling out of the room. “Come on, we need to stay with the group. If we can find some bandages I’ll wrap your leg up but we shouldn’t stay in here.”
“Kay…” Reluctantly Hannah limped towards the exit into the dark hallway. Only to be greeted with two foreboding options, neither of which she liked the potential outcome of.
Hux gave a pleased smile at being able to help them get out of the situation, though he supposed it might not be a good thing considering he was with the Negaverse... Either way when they got into the hall and paused he looked down each way then figured he should try and say out of the way of the operation the best he could and headed to the right.

Derrick Keenan
As much as he tried to use both the empty oxygen tank and his own weight, along with a few other people, the door would not budge. Derrick huffed a bit, trying to regain his breath and ignoring the pain that his shoulder now had. What was with hospital doors always being so heavy? Was it the radiation or something? He thought that would still be able to get through anyway.
Luckily though, some other people found the right keys, which made Derrick a bit more nervous. There is definitely something more going on. Of course the announcement had made that much clear, but what exactly was going on was the question, and he was trying to answer it as he followed the others through the door.
