The legendary leaders who gave their lives for this village. He decided he'd pay a visit to the top. Instead of taking the easy route, he thought practicing a little rock climbing would do him some good. He scaled straight up the face of the formation, making his way to the peak at a steady pace. He made it a point not use the aid of his chakra in his ascent with chakra, always conditioning his body. He reached the top of the First Hokage's head, and pulled himself up. He sighed, and stared out over the village. Such a beautiful sight. He noticed a flash of red hair in the corner of his eye. He looked over his shoulder and noticed a small ninja sitting on the Fourth Hokage's head. The blazing red hair gave away that he was a member of the Uzumaki clan. The name finally came to mind. Kaito Uzumaki, one of the new chunin. He decided to be sociable. It was rare he took the time to do so. He hopped to his feet, and approached the young ninja. "So, how is the new title treating you? Keeping you busy eh?" Dante asked with a smirk, crossing his arms.
As the gentle breeze blew across the monument, Kaito had felt himself growing more and more relaxed. He could feel the quiet hum of the earth that he lay upon, hear the swaying of the leaves as their branches were jostled by the wind. The scent of evaporating dew teased his nostrils as the sun slowly worked its way to its zenith. It wouldn't be too much longer before he would need to break himself away from the quiet. Just a little while longer. Kaito thought lazily, drawing in a deep breath of fresh air.
He fought the urge to take a nap in his chosen spot. Naps could be dangerous, even within the village, due to the mischievous natures of some of his friends and comrades. Lips twitched with a faint smile as Kaito remembered one instance in particular. One of his fellow Genin had stumbled upon him napping in the forest one day and had promptly drawn silly designs all over his face. Of course, Kaito took it all in stride once discovering his antics, finding it amusing and vowing friendly retaliation. Needless to say though, he was certainly more careful in choosing his napping spots from that point on.
Kaito couldn't keep from laughing at the conjured memory. Falling back into the silence, he soon realized that another individual was approaching. He could tell who it was almost instantly based on the feel of the guy's chakra and imposing aura. Opening his eyes, Kaito turned his head to see his fellow Chunin approaching him- Dante Hyuga, heir to the Hyuga clan. He noticed his appearance was quite worn, and laughed."I have been so busy lately, I hadn't been able to do anything enjoyable. I finally got the time to put some training in, and took full advantage of it." He said, dusting off his clothes. In truth, Dante hadn't finished his paperwork or other duties and instead took the entire day off, hiding from the village Jonin and Hokage to practice. He couldn't stand sitting around at a desk all day. No serious missions to do but plenty of paperwork. He sighed audibly. He was never the one to procrastinate, but he was not able to sit still for long. Tasks that required that were not within his ability.
Kaito's lips pulled back in a grin. "Hmm!" He agreed with an emphatic nod of his head. The younger boy knew that there would be no turning back on his path. He would continue to press forward, furthering his skills and pushing himself past his limits, so that he could one day become Hokage. Making Chunin had simply been the first step to making his dream a reality.
Dante's laugh drew him from his internal diatribe. Kaito found himself echoing the Hyuga's amusement with a laugh of his own. "Why do you think I'm up here?" He admitted with an impish light in his blue-grey eyes. The paperwork required of a Chunin was something that Kaito had not been prepared for. He despised it with a fiery passion, so much so that someone usually had to tie him down until the work was done. Kaito honestly believed that paperwork could be a special form of torture.
"It's been a while since I've been able to just enjoy the village. Although," The red-haired Uzumaki rubbed the back of his head. "I probably should've spent the time training like you did."

He grabbed Kaito's outstretched hand, and shook it. "You're on! Let's make it even more interesting. No using jutsu! Practice chakra control!" Dante exclaimed, excited. He was always up for a challenge, despite his age or position as a ninja. "Hah!" Dante launched himself off the hokage monument like a madman. As he fell, he quickly spun around and latched onto the fourth hokage's nose and started to scale down his face. [EXIT]
Kaito's eyes gleamed with eagerness. "Chakra or not, I'm not gonna lose!" He yelled after Dante whom had already begun his descent. Not to be outdone, the young Uzumaki raced along the ledge of the monument until he reached the point he desired. With a sharp intake of breath, he jumped down from the Second Hokage's head, allowing gravity to take over. Kaito soon landed on one of the few ledges which jutted from the cliff face. Villagers typically avoided these because of the difficulty in reaching one from the other. The redhead didn't mind though. Eventually he will manipulate it into a ball of fire completely surrounding both hands, and then fired into the air. The two fireballs will collide and then split into 10-20 separate fireballs which will proceed to rain down on the area as commanded by the user. Rank: C-rank ► Katon: Boukaheki no Jutsu [Fire Release: Fire Wall Technique] By performing a few seals, the user can exhale a steady stream of fire creating a wall in front of them and partially surrounding them. It's capable of evaporating water and low level Suiton jutsu, and used as a great defense against physical strikes. Rank: C-rank ► Katon: Kemuri Shiryoku no Jutsu [Fire Release: Smoke Sight Technique] After using a few handseals, the user focuses chakra to his or her eyes. This allows the user to see through smoke, no matter the color or thickness of said smoke. However, smoke will still make the user cough and eventually cause suffocation, so one must be careful using this jutsu. Rank: D-rank
