Well I'm just saying, it's better that then to buy only one crappy item---- Eeeep!!! he squealed as Nightengale shook the life out of him. She even did it rough to the point where there were legit spirals in his eyes. Uuuuuugh..... shaking his head to regain his mind, he looked at the two, and sighed. Okay, look. I wanna get out of here any more like you guys, but as crappy as it is, we gotta work together... Blue said to them, as he looked through his menu, to find the invite to the party as he pressed accept on the holographic HUD. What he also found, was a starter dagger. Wasn't any bigger than a sword, which seemed like something no rogue could obtain. Though now that he thinks of it, he wished he had that sword again. Well, name's Blue Sonic in English. I had to come here to this international sever. Too bad this shīt happened... he said to them. So Morwen. You seem pretty responsible for money. If we're doing this, can we trust you with the money until we get to the weapon store? Blue asked her. She had that cute and shy feel to her.

Stupid humans and their stupid mind processes, didn't they get it!? Why didn't they think like her?! It frustrated her to no end, and she felt the hermit in herself begin to rise up. Her mind was screaming at her to just get far away, to get very far away. She wanted no part in this stupidity; whoever said two heads were better than one was clearly an idiot. IT was getting too noisy and Nightengale took a step back from the team, her lips pursed. She backed out of her menu, she would decide whether or not to team up with these guys at a later date. "They probably wont be selling anything other than basic gear here, idiot." She tugged down her hood to cover her eyes, gritting her teeth a bit. Did the male forget they were on the first floor? There wasn't going to be any good gear here, what was he kidding himself for? Whoever was instructing this stupid game clearly wanted to see people die, he or she wouldn't give them an advantage off the bat.

The female shade tucked her arms in to her cloak, leaving nothing but the lower portion of her face hidden. She could see the daze in the boy's eyes; stupid boys always looking for someone to reproduce with. Sonic was very clearly attracted to the newer female. Her lips pursed again when he mentioned something about the newer girl holding their money for them, which did not sit well with Janah one bit. "No one is touching my Xing, you must be crazy. You guys can pool your money together if that's what you wish but I'll be perfectly fine. Giving people that kind of responsibility is how you got let down, is how you got backstabbed. A good shade never turned their back to anyone, they knew how the darkness was. Even people you considered to be allies could whip around and kill you if you felt like it, that's how humans were in desperate times like this. The human race only thought about self survival, she was no different in that way.

Nightengale gestured her head towards the shops with a small sound escaping her closed lips, she wanted to get a move on. She knew her basic needs for the time being, she needed just some light armor, nothing too heavy. The more armor she had, the more she would be weighed down and the harder it would be to sneak. She was a daughter of the shadows, she wasn't meant to fight head on. She would worry more about a weapon for now; a decent bow and some health crystals, most likely. That was her best bet.

                                                                      ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------

Morwen watched as they continued to figure out the plans, which she honestly found confusing. It didn't make it any easier on her when the guy that she now knows as Blue Sonic turned to her and asked to hold all of their Xing. To her, it seemed pointless to collect all of their money together unless they were planning on buying something that costs more than 100 Xing. She wasn't there to question the situation, though. All she was concerned with was what she had to do; not why she had to do it. As Morwen had done in other situations like this, she planned to keep quiet until she knew exactly what she had to do.

It was when Nightingale had spoken up about keeping her Xing to herself that Morwen had realised that there were trust issues amongst the planning committee. It made her chuckle as she looked towards the ground. She always thought that trust was interesting concept. Once, she had witnessed a person walk their bike into a grocery store because they forgot their bike lock and couldn't trust that no one would steal it. Morwen, on the other hand, had never had any real problems with trust. The only friend she had growing up was her mother, who never let her down. After her mother was remarried, though, promised plans were occasional broken off because everyone was always too busy. To Morwen, trust wasn't anything to worry about.

"I'll let you guys figure out the plans. I have no problem with whatever conclusion you come to," Morwen stated, letting them know her intentions for right now.

With that, she took a seat and watched them from where she was.

I'll run to the moon and walk on the sea
I'll start a new world for you and me
                                Sylvia LaCroix
                                The Siren "Phoenix"
And I'll save you when the sky falls...
So together we can break down the walls...
                                Now I'm everywhere, you know,
And I'll never let you go.
'Cause I'll save you when the sky falls.
Can you hear the siren call?

Sylvia blinked, her expression immediately cross as she looked back to Blue with his proposition to pool their money. Positively a pointless affair, and she was about to say as much when Nightengale beat her to it - though not at all diplomatically, the same thoughts had effectively come across. Worse yet, ultimately with Nightengale's shift away from the collective she realized this much controversy had jeopardized the shade's standing with them - and as far as end results went, that was by and large the height of staggering her.

If this kid was going to keep this up, things were only going to get worse. And, whatever solution was going to be implemented had to be done so immediately. And, as long as she was taking sides, the side that allowed her to bring the two major would-be warring factions to common ground was going to win out, inevitably - not that she was much a fan of Nightengale's blunt and rather disuasive manner either, but there was a way to make this work; she just had to find it.

Sylvia needed help, but bearing a larger goal in mind she particularly needed help from de facto would-be opposition, which meant specifically she needed Nightengale's help, unless either Blue or Morwen were Jules. Dragging politics into the matter right in the middle of the city was a great way to get herself killed right outside the walls though, and the only thing she knew for certain was she had a clearer bet with Nightengale, erego she herself had no choice.
Nightengale was very clearly more than a little uncomfortable, with the kid no doubt, but had expressed a grudging acceptance of working with Sylvia for the time being, which played out well as far as splitting for pairs went.

Having decided on those conditions alone, the Siren glanced back to Blue and Morwen and ran a hand through her hair before shaking her head with a soft smile. "How about this, sweetheart..." She offered, looking more pointedly towards Blue than anyone else. "You and... Morwen, was it? - Are more than welcome to pool your supplies, but I am going to need every xing I'm holding and then some the moment something in my line of work comes up. If I'm going to be spending any amount of my life being someone else's doormat, I don't exactly expect to live for very long - but if that's what works for you, by all means, be my guest."

"Now, with that said..." She sighed, turning back to Nightengale before she could entirely retreat; "-If all this hasn't changed your mind, near as I can tell we could still use each other's help, and there's something I need to talk to you about anyway if you're willing to listen. If not, well..." She slowed her words for a moment, looking back to Blue and Morwen for a moment as if to indicate the only option she had left given the circumstances; "-I'll live, one way or the other. But, if you're with me still, I'm with you." She offered, flicking open a menu and sending an invitation Nightengale's way. "So, what'll it be, doll?"
Now watch me find a thousand ways
to tell you I love you and we'll be okay...
I'll run to the moon and walk on the sea.
I'll start a new world for you and me.

So as it turns out, Nightengale didn't agree. No duh she wouldn't. She seemed like one of those anti social types anyway. He can tell by the way she walks away. Kinda like someone he knew once. With a heavy sigh, Blue looked up in the sky rubbing his temple. Something definitely seemed different. He could see that the skies weren't even he slightest bit pixelated. For a game as high resolution as this, it was weird how this world looks more lifelike. Not only that... But he can feel the wind blowing here! This world has now become truly real now! This was definitely bad news. Now it's not a game at all, but a new home for these people. But that doesn't matter anymore. He knew this would potentially happen. Great... Blue said. Guess it's just you and me now... So, Morwen. Since they basically said no to me, and I guess you might too, wanna follow my plan and help each other out with armor and weaponry? Blue asked her. I'd understand if you would wanna leave too. he said with a shrug.

She took a deep breath; thinking carefully about what she was going to do. Would she except the female's request and get in to a party for the first time in her career or would she forge her own path due to stubbornness and risk dying? Was it worth it, dying, to try and save her honor? Was it worth tarnishing her spotless record due to cowardice? She slowly closed her eyes, then hit accept on the party invite. The only thing this was about now was surviving to see the outside world once more. She noticed out of the corner of her eye that a level up notification popped up.

She stared at it for a moment, did she automatically get an XP boost for teaming up with someone...? That was lame, to put it simply. She sighed, quickly distributed her stats, then closed out her menu. Looking up at Sylvia, she wondered what it was that the woman wanted to talk about. Panic rose in her for a moment, what if she was trying to get her away from the crowd in order to kill her? What if she was a red player? Nightengale shook away the irrational thoughts before tucking her arms back in to her cloak. " Sure, we can talk. First we get equipment, then we can set out if you wish." She started wracking up the xing she would have to spend in her mind in order to be prepared for any kind of raid. Sylvia could be the offence, while Janah stayed to the shadows to do her part. Simple enough.

Since the hacking, Morwen thought that she was going to end up alone, with no help, and that she was going to die before she made any progress. It gave her hope when she realized that someone wanted to party up with her now. Of course, she would've preferred to be in a party with three people rather than one, but it looked like, at this point, she had no choice. She was't going to leave someone who was offering to invite her to their party. She didn't know when another opportunity like this came up. Morwen looked up at Blue Sonic, knowing that he was the one she would end up in a party with.

"I would love to party with you," she said simply before giving a slight smile.

Morwen then opened her menu and found the invite to the party. She clicked on 'accept' and stood up from where she was sitting.

"Where do we go to first?" Morwen asked Blue Sonic, looking around the plaza.

                        Theme

                        " "

She was so ready for anything that came next, the white haired girl, her hair dancing around her milky white pale flesh, walked with the artificial wind blowing through her hair, lips red and pursed as she walked into the center plaza. She smiled as she waited for the party to gather, she had sent out several messages to people who she believed to be red players to meet at this exact location at exactly this time. She sat down at a small table and began to click her nails among the crevices of the table in a rather bored fashion. Click clack click clack click clack. She smiled and sighed as it had seemed to take forever. She really wasnt sure if anyone would show but her message was quite simple. She wanted to form a party of red players to dominate the game and to end the floor one boss. She really wanted to do it and when she did, she would completely and utterly obliterate it. She was not entirely sure that the party she recruited would be up to the challenge but she knew she would need more than just herself to beat it and quite possibly if anything to destroy it because well they could always be adequate meat shields. They could asorb the damage while she pounded it with arrows and just literally ******** it straight to hell. One thing was sure, that she would need more arrows than what she currently had to kill it. She was unsure of just how strong the monster was though, because there was ext to no info on the floor boss and no one had ever found it but she was sure that it would be in the dungeons. She would find it though and she would kill it.

She would smile and sit at the table in a rather bored fashion. A waitress came up, obviously an npc, and asked her if she would like anything to drink in which case she responded " I do believe I am fine and do not require anything to drink at this current time. However if you do not get out of my face, I will eviscerate you and use your gastrointestinal tract as a condom while I fornicate with your skull. Essentially what that means is I am going to quite literally and metaphorically skull ******** you until you die." " She ran around with a smile on her face in her mind as she imagined the thought and purely imagined it, I cannot stress how much this was imagined so please read the damn post, that she would grab the waitress npc by the back of her hair and slam her face repeatedly off the counter until blood was pouring out of the deplored face of the npc, blood and teeth falling out of the young girl npc before divinity would bring the npcs face to hers and kiss the girl on her lips before stabbing it directly in the heart. The pure feeling of kissing what she was about to kill was beautiful and it was not entirely romantic and the reason for that was simply because she was not only watching the life leave her eyes but she was also taking the victims last breath as well. It was symbolic of her owning everything the girl had, down to her very last breath. She took her life, her last breath, and her vision from her. It would be a a beautiful thing to do but then she faded back to reality and realized that it was best not to happen. Why? Because in truth it would be bad for her to do something like this and create a scene. Although it might attract the attention of those she was looking to gather. But they would notice her regardless. They would see a girl in red with long white hair, sitting at a table. She in all honestly probably looked like a villain. She was no hero and not even an anti-hero but definitely a villain. It would be hard to classify her as anything but a villain and in all honesty she felt most would agree. Who wouldnt?

Truth was, she knew that she needed to kill the creature for attention now. She needed to gather the followers and she could not wait much longer. As the npc looked at her and asked her the question once again, she smiled like deja vu had just happened. she would grab the waitress npc by the back of her hair and slam her face repeatedly off the counter until blood was pouring out of the deplored face of the npc, blood and teeth falling out of the young girl npc before divinity would bring the npcs face to hers and kiss the girl on her lips before stabbing it directly in the heart. The pure feeling of kissing what she was about to kill was beautiful and it was not entirely romantic and the reason for that was simply because she was not only watching the life leave her eyes but she was also taking the victims last breath as well. It was symbolic of her owning everything the girl had, down to her very last breath. However this time she actually did it. She kissed the npc and sucked out her last breath, closing her eyes as she did it of both her and the npc making it highly symbolic and personal for her. It was the most beautiful thing she had done in what seemed like a very long time.

After she had finished slaying the npc waitress, she looked around and seen many players looking at her as if she was a freak, and to this she smiled a devilish smile and stood up, the npcs blood still coating her face and a little of her clothes. " "What's the matter, ladies and gentleman? Do you not like a little bit of theatrical entertainment? After all, we are all just walking corpses in the game. Well. You are all." " She smiled a devilish dark smile through white teeth and pursed red full lips. She was short at five foot tall and skinny at ninety seven pounds but in truth she was strong. She was one of the stronger players in the game at this moment and the truth was, people would soon to come to know it. She was waiting still for the members to show up, the soon to be infamous Splatter Party. The Splatter Party would be the strongest group in all of Fador Anville Online, or in other words FAO and no one would be able to stand up to them. They would become the strongest and it would all start with the floor boss. If they could defeat the floor boss they would be given a s**t ton of exp and if they got the exp thenit would put them even farther ahead of everyone else. In fact it would be quite literally amazing for them to be able to kill it but they would only be able to do so if they could get the damn people to show up. They needed the people.

In truth she was nothing more than a pretty little psycho. But the invite she had sent out was for those wishing to join the Splatter Party, she had looked over the files of all of these players via their profiles and looked for their recent actions. They were active, not strong yet, but they had a mental advantage from what she could see and what that was was that they did not care to kill. And if they did kill then she would be happy with them. If they got in her way, party or not, she would kick them out of the party and kill them. And after she killed them? She would loot their corpse. The distribution would be equal among all party members. The reason for this was that she would make a new family, her last family was worth nothing, but this party of misfits would be her new family and she would be the head of the household. They would kill anyone who got in their way with little to no consequence. Truth be told, she was unsure as she stood there looking at the crowd as she retook her seat. What was she to do if no one showed? Well she knew she could attempt to fight the floor boss by herself but she could quite possibly die. In all honesty it was very likely, she figured the boss would be higher level and none of the teammates were even close to her level. It was possible that if she died first then they would all fail because she thought herself to be the only one who was above or high enough to actually do damage to the creature. She would have to try and lower the creatures defense. Had too.

Place: City of Beginnings - Central Plaza

Thoughts: "Why is everyone so sad?"

Mood: Confused

J just finished looking around and learning the basics, he had yet to even fight a creature before he was spawned back to where he originally started. J looked around confusingly at all the people who were also randomly spawned back to the beginning of the game area. He watched at some people were frustrated over the fact that the game itself interrupted their tasks that they were clearly doing before they got forced back here. Then he heard it, he heard the woman's voice explaining that all players are currently imprisoned in this game.
J thought about how he felt about this, this could be the chance he was looking for...his spotlight to finally become first place and not become second. Did the idea of being imprisoned for the rest of his life come into his mind? Heck yeah he did, but in a weird crazy way, he had always wondered how long he would survive in a situation like this. We are now animals, all of us players who have come to enjoy this game have become animals are here to fight for their lives. It's survival of the fittest and J sees no problem at all with that.
J goes around looking for people to talk too and see if they are willing to travel with him because in all honesty, he is still a noob. He just finished learning how to buy things before this whole tragedy of announcement happened. He watched as many players were already teaming up and figuring out how to get out of this trap that they were put on, he even watched a poor npc die, meh, survival to the fittest I guess. J tried to come up to people in the hopes of finding someone who is willing to help him play this confusing game but when he does come up to people they simply ignore him and go do what they had planned already, with their friends. Sighing in defeat he walked around and came upon some simple tables and sat down, in the hopes of maybe finding a friend or if he still is unsuccessful, he will wait for this to all die down and adventure on his own. Oh no.

'Well. I am here world, where the hell is the scary stuff at?'As the young man entered the central plaza for the second time since being teleported from a much higher floor, he looked around, wondering what all the commotion was about. It was a big plaza after all; The source could have been anywhere. The young man's eye surveyed the area, looking for something out of place, or out of the ordinary. The masses of noobs sitting around like ducks waiting to be hunted was not helping whatsoever, and it only helped to irritate him. 'I wanna see what the hell they were running from... It showed be a bit vacated in that area, considering the amount of people that left... So its over... There?' The male walked closer and closer to the open space, seeing that it was a diner, or cafe of some sort. Was the food gross or something? The silver haired male let out an inaudible sigh as he finally came closer to the scene, to find a girl with white hair wailing on another girl. His brow rose as he watched her repeatedly slam the waitress' head on the table, blood splattering everywhere. Surprisingly, the silver haired male had no reaction. Just a blank stare, until the NPC killer kissed the her victim with some sick passion. 'Well damn. That's kinky.' The monk smirked, hoping that the lady was done showing off just how damn crazy she was, so he could sit down. However, after she finished kissing the NPC, the white haired girl proceeded to stab the little lady in the stomach. Now she was done.

"What's the matter, ladies and gentleman? Do you not like a little bit of theatrical entertainment? After all, we are all just walking corpses in the game. Well. You are all." The monk scratched the back of his head, wondering what in the living ******** she meant by that. How in the world was that entertainment? All she did was randomly s**t on an NPC who could not even fight back! Well, not that it really mattered to him; What use is an NPC without quests to hand out? The silver haired male inspected the bloodied female, and at that point his eye widened. 'She's level seven already?! What a damn no life!.. I gotta catch up. Well techincally, I have yet to update my stats so...' At this point, the blue eyed monk was more impressed with her stats than anything else. She was level seven, and already had stats in the hundreds. He knew that it would be wiser for him not to get on her bad side, and by the psychotic actions she had just performed, it was obvious that she gave no regard for life. 'Divinity, huh. Maybe she thinks killing people is part of some sort of religious thing... Or maybe she just likes doing it for fun..' Whatever the reason, killing other players was a LOT of work. Too much for Zel, anyway. At higher levels, where everyone had some good and rare equipment, it would be pretty profitable, if he thought about it. But other than that, there was no merit to it. No point. To him at least. Maybe that is what separated him from her?..

She was definitely an aspiring red player, that was for sure. Maybe, this scene was solely for gathering attention to find other players like her, and perhaps they would congregate to form another guild like Laughing Coffin? The idea sounded terrible, being chased around by a bunch of psychopaths wanting nothing more than to kill you... Like internet trolls. These were those guys. And they seemed to have a strong a** leader, if this five foot, white haired female was the one. He hoped and prayed that this was the only one at that level, because if not... He was slacking in the being a strong solo player department. Finally, after much deliberation, he walked past the crazy woman, and took a table directly next to hers. The monk figured that showing that he gave no damns about her little showcase would either boost his status in her mind, or cause her to try even harder to show how crazy she was. They were in a safe zone, so he would not get hurt or die. And on the very strange, and off chance that he did die, he would only be losing an easily replaceable amount of Xing, and some weapons that he did not need. The young man sat there, with his feet up and hands behind his head as he waited patiently to order a soda. 'Perfect plan, I would say...'

                                Now I'm everywhere, you know,
And I'll never let you go.
'Cause I'll save you when the sky falls.
Can you hear the siren call?

Misexpectation after misexpectation, Sylvia noted with a blink. It wasn't bad enough that everyone was trapped until the clear, but people had to make a scene expressing their own supposed superiority. Honestly, half of her mind insisted that was her job and none other, but the other half simply glared. Going with the latter, she turned back to Nightengale and gave a helpless gesture of one arm towards the NPC-slaying one of the crowd, suspecting she would only be the first of frighteningly many to come. "And that's why I need to talk to you." She sighed, casting a furtive glance over her shoulder. "As long as we're stuck here fighting our way out of this... 'update'..." She grimaced, honestly unable for the moment to come up with a better word; "-There are going to be people taking advantage of the panic. If any of us let the ordinary politics get in the way while we're at it, well... the term 'sitting ducks' comes to mind."

A moment later she ran a hand through her hair, a glimpse of her interface leaving her puzzled for a moment. Not entirely sure what was going on, she took a measure of the party experience and blinked. Just by the passage of time, everyone seemed to be gaining some varied rate of raw experience - just by being there was the part that confused her; they hadn't even accomplished anything. While not a fan of the gimmick, she couldn't deny it was a beneficial shift, so she didn't complain - instead simply promised herself she would figure it out sooner or later. "Anyway, we probably shouldn't have this conversation here... what do you say we go hit the wild and step away from all this drama before it spells out 'murderous riot'?" She offered, seeming for the first time on the verge of loosing her own cool, if only by her persistent fidgeting and eyeing over her shoulder.
Now watch me find a thousand ways
to tell you I love you and we'll be okay...
I'll run to the moon and walk on the sea.
I'll start a new world for you and me.

❝Where were you when everything was falling apart..

Shifter Level » 1 x Doctor

►◄
▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬( Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ )▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬

Litzy was hanging out in the town with her friends from school that she goes to, mostly her cheer leader friends and some guy friends from her english class. The group was surrounded by a sea of others talking amongst themselves in the town of the VRMMO game that was much life like. She was laughing with them all and having a great time. It had been a long while since she got to hang out with them, since the day of her life when all the chaos happened and she avoided any human contact for weeks. But these were her friends, and she wanted to make them happy by joining up with them, even if she had to put on a fake smile and pretend like everything was fine and dandy. Her friends told her they were going to get a snack in the real world and left for the moment, telling her to go back too. But there was no way Litzy could agree to that, she wasn't ready yet. She just nodded and said yes, basically lying. There was no one at home to go too for guidance on loneliness, so instead she stayed online to watch other players laughing and enjoying themselves, reminiscing on her life she had when she spent it with her loving family.

Litzy began to walk into a field of monsters and train some, when the monster she was about to go after dispersed into thin air. It was like it had never even been there from the start, like some sort of a mirage. That's odd.. Ignoring it, she went for another, but the same thing happened, and again, and again. Soon every monster was gone, and she was transported to a different map. Confused by what was going on, she looked around at everyone else who seemed to be utterly confused too. Not too long, messages on her screen started appearing out of nowhere, blocking her from seeing anyone around her or anything at all.

SYSTEM REBOOT. LOGOUT HAS BEEN REMOVED.

Blinking, she doubted what was going on was true, since game creators were very smart and knew what they were doing, never allowing such a thing to happen, but it was well worth a check. She pressed her finger in the air, buttons coming up but there was one missing, the log out one. Now she was panicking, searching everywhere possible for it, going through all of her other buttons and searching in every possible location. It was true, it was no longer there. "You've got to be f-kidding me!" She cursed out loud angrily, but after noticing people looking at her, and them angry or worried them self, she sighed and tried to calm down her nerves. How much more screwed up could her life get? Why was everything bad happening to her, what did she ever do to deserve it? But than again, this problem wasn't just on her, it was on everyone else inside the game too. She was just glad her friends made it out safely, as she knew that they would be very upset had they been stuck too. But was the log out temporary she wondered? Maybe the creators were still working on fixing them, she only hoped that was the case. Her pets at home would starve if she didn't return, so she only prayed that someone would fix this serious issue. Those dogs meant the world to her, they were her children. Without them, she'd rather not live!

Her heart began to race, and she began to sweat a bit. This was all too much for her to handle and happening way too fast, like in the blink of an eye. It was like reliving her family's tragic past of sending her into a deep depression. She already lost all of her family, praying her dogs would be strong and survive just until she returned! She had to go back, those dogs were her family and she would do anything for them, to return was her one and only goal! And she could not stop worrying about there health. But than a thought occurred to her, the system reboot! Does that mean.. going through her items she found that there was absolutely nothing life in her inventory, not a single damn weapon or anything that she worked so hard on earning. It was all gone down the drain, along with her pride of winning those. And she was back to level one! This sucked, at such early stages like this she has to be careful to avoid dying, not like it mattered since she re spawned, but still she didn't like it cause it was embarrassing if someone ever saw her die. Instead of worrying and cursing in her mind though, she decided to just start a new clean slate and try again. Realizing the matter and what was now going on, she looked around to see if anyone needed help on leveling, seeing as she played as a doctor, she'd be able to heal others and keep them alive for the most part, while fighting too. Sure, Litzy could do just fine fighting on her own and leveling, but there had to be someone out there struggling in levels, as not everyone was a top notch player. She had to make certain there wasn't anyone like that around, if there was she'd have to help! Even if they rejected, she'd bug them to let her help them still.

"Wait...l what in the Burning Hells..." was all that Gray could manage. He woke up with a start, his breathing baited as he recognized the tavern he was in. He had talked so many noob girls into this very room during his early days as a beta tester for the game. You would be surprised the things people will try in virtual reality. He was wearing basic clothing, which surprised the hell out of him. He hadn't equipped this stuff in ages, in fact he had deleted it from his inventory. The cotton, white shirt might have been the most noob shirt in the game, and he had seen some things. His pants were notably lighter both in color and weight, he realized as he swung is long legs over the side of the bed. His leather pants and greaves weren't equipped anymore? And nowhere to be seen? Thieves... He sucked on his teeth as he opened his chat log. Sometimes the members of his guild liked to mess with him as he was known as the troll god to them, and any oppurtunity to ******** with him was taken.

[No Messages.] it read. He furrowed his eyebrow. Strange... he had messages the day before from Cammy and Rani. They logged out but they left him love letters. Interesting that he didn't quite remember deleting them. Their were n***s in those messages... of them together. What the hell was he thinking when he deleted those messages? He stood up, stretching his body out and listening to the brainwaves being fed directly to his game's audio settings. Lots of similar confusion on the streets outside. He opened his window and looked out at the streets, alive with people. So many people were frantically talking and thinking that he couldn't get much. Something about a hack? No log out button? Missing inventory and gold? Gray knew of only one time this had ever happened before. The SAO incident. He clenched his teeth as his game menu came up.
                                      Game

                                      Menu

                                      Settings.
No log out button. He flared his nostrils and grunted as he brought up his character information. "No. No. NO!" he said punching the wardrobe behind him. His stats... they were so goddamn low. Had he been cursed in a dungeon and forgotten? No way, he was too strong for any of that to affect him this much. With a slow, painful exhale, he stared at his level. He was maxed when he passed out on 60. He was ******** with lower levels, spawn killing people too stupid to realize they had to run away from him, or clearing out mobs to help them with quests. Mostly he was just being a minor nusance, psychically assaulting them about social equality. Boy that confederate flag thing sure did give him a LOT of material to work with too, defending stupid souther hicks who seem to lack empathy and intelligence in equal amounts. Now he was lower than them? Was a mod punishing him? This was a cruel, sick joke. He put shoes on and burst through the room door into the crowded Tavern. "What the ******** is going on here?" he shouted down. Someone looked up and responded. "Hey... you're that guy who leads the vampire trolls! You're here too?" He scoffed down at the nameless face and walked down the stairs, his question answered. He fought through the crowd and kicked open the door. Into the crowded streets he went narrowing his eyes as the bright, artificial sun beamed down into his still dialated pupils. The damn near slammed shut as he shaded his face against the onslaught of terrifying brightness with his hand. He wandered aimlessly, examining the scene for anyone he might know, outside of people he had on occasion got into keyboard wars with. He frowned up, biting his bottom lip as he heard all the noise, both from mouths and minds alike. It was exhausting hearing all the panicking.

Criticizing their fear was probably his only method of containing the sudden apprehension that gripped him...

He found a seat in the midst of the crowd, not particularly aware of what was going on around him while he rubbed his temples. With an annoyed grunt he shut off his mind reading passive, allowing little over half the buzzing to go away in a slight huff. The only reason he had bore with it in the first place was because he was waiting on important or recognized voices to flow through the stream of consciousness. Typically he was good at ignoring the white noise but for now he was reduced to a barely functioning mess, trapped in his own thoughts. He didn't need all the idiots around him adding to that radio station with a snowstorm of interference. s**t man. I'm stuck in here... like stuck literally. I like Fadvar more than most nerve games... but not enough to LIVE in it for any time against my will. Which now is about twenty minutes. s**t, when was the last time I logged out? I KNEW I shoulda went to sleep irl. Like without the gear on. What is wrong with me? His inner workings were, as one would expect, interrupted by someone who did recognize him. "Hey! Gray Son!" the man of large build, similar to Gray, yelled at him. He was a few feet away, a berserker clearly, and also a shifter. Gray barely recognized him as some asshat who thought the game world was aplace to spread his ideaology in the game; i.e. a prime troll candidate. Once he started to annoy Gray, he got a group together to mercilessly spawn trap and kill him for a week straight. He set foot out of a safe zone, he died. Over and over. Till he logged of for a week and a half and Gray got tired of waiting for him. He was.... foundedly upset. Not so tough without your guild, huh? How's it feel to be alone and on MY level now your p***k. Gray stood up, his mind reading passive on and focused. "Wait... you must be that one transphobic a*****e Glen. Good to see you again. Look I'd love to tell you alllll about how your sister-turned-brother's new c**k is bigger than yours, but I am in a s**t mood and in case you haven't realized, we're all stuck here." Gray didn't smirk or smile, he was one hundred percent serious. The guys swung at Gray, who blocked with a quickly raised forearm. Of course he took no damage, as they WERE in the safe zone, but he now had to prove a point. So he brought the blocked arm down in a chop, hitting the wrist hard enough to disable the arm and then snatching the wrist quickly. He yanked forward, tripping the man and elbowing his back, crashing him into the chair he was sitting him. Gray walked away, halfway down the block when Glen got his bearings. Watch your back! You'll wonder out of town eventually! Gray flipped him off without looking and then placed his hands in his pockets as he continued his mission to figure out what the hell was going on.

He walked what must have been an hour, avoiding angry potentials and not really speaking to anyone in particular. it was almost serene to be back where he began, the Town of Beginnings. Nostalgia to about six months ago when he first began playing and everything in the game was particularly difficult for someone trying to strike out on their own. He had been attacked a lot, mostly for his mouth. It's why he was so good at the game. He had got s**t on all the time and now he was smart with his mind reading, words, and sure not to bite off more than he could chew. Some nice tavern owner was giving out free water for any and everyone who was reset, which was everyone. As Gray approached he was glad he was still reading minds as another attacker found him and tried for a sneak attack. Don't they know you cant hurt people in towns? he thought to himself as he sidestepped, tripping him with a leg sweep and catching him by his collar before he hit the ground and hurt his face, superficially. "What did I do to you?" Gray asked dropping him and knealing beside his body. You stole my sword after you killed me... and then you wrapped me in a confederate flag! he said picking himself up. Gray stood and backed off. "Look, I used to box, and did martial arts for 11 years ok? You won't beat me in a fist fight. You were soapboxing. No one likes that s**t, and besides none of us have any gear anymore so you're crying over nothing. There was only ostensible damage done to your pride anyway. A guild leader smacked you around, you were level 20. Get the ******** over it," Gray said pushing past him to the shopkeeper. He smiled and nodded to him, as he handed him the bottle. "Consider the Vampire Guild on your side, though my word and my guild ain't worth much I imagine." Gray said with a smile as he turned on his heels and looked at how many people more had appeared. "Laina... where the ******** are you..." he asked with a sigh licking his lips as he realized one thing that could ease the stress he was compartmentalizing through an apathetic look and body language.

His bottom b***h had to be around here somewhere. As the ice cold water streamed down his throat and cooled his torso he cleared his mind as he had learned to quite a long time ago. Focusing on breathing and cleaing his own thoughts helped him quell the useless noise and pick out what he was looking for. Another trick that set him apart from other Moroi was his extensive mental capabilities. He focused on it, sitting for long periods of time learning to actively meditate while still aware. Took about two months to learn how to make the game system for mind reading work for him. The stream of conscience is what he called it. If he was in a state of self calm not only could he better read thoughts, but he could also better ******** with people. At anyrate, he was uisng that ability to gather info, any mention of Laina or raids being organized would reach him as he stood there, eyes closed and his bottom lip caught between his teeth. His focus level was skyrocketing as he tried to pinpoint anything of significance at all. His breathing was even and his heart rate was steady. This was not true universally, though, as all around him he could feel that people were having panic attacks or hyperventilating. If only they knew just how futile their worrying really was. They were in it, and the only way to get OUT of it was to figure out the goal. Being a little b***h was not going to solve the problem any quicker at all. In fact it was hampering and adversely affecting progress all around. even he was having a hard time finding useful information with people pissing themselves mentally and blowing gaskets with rage. He sighed, opening his eyes after locating some groups he might want to interact with before the inevtiability of power leveling reds. He came down out of the clouds and began walking towards his first group of people.

With that being said, he looked over to the people here as now they had accepted it and dispersed. Especially that Shade and Siren they just spoke to. They were going off into the field apparently. So now had to be the time to decide. Well, the plan is to get us some gear to survive, and work our way up. Sadly, we started off as the lowest of the low along with everyone else here. So here's what we gotta do. We'll pool our money to get gear and recruit some people. I'll do the recruitment, you just have to go to the shop, and get somethings for us. Blue said, handing her his 100 xing. Alright, just buy yourself a weapon and ammo, I'm gonna need a sword, two chestplates, a teleportation crystal, and a dagger. He said to her, looking into Morwen's eyes. We'll get through this. Just have faith in me. Alright... Good luck! Blue said to her, as he went off.

As he left her, he heard someone yelling off in the distance, asking if they liked what she did. Seeing her attack, and murder the npc waitress, Blue had scorned and looked as others watched in horror, Blue watched with anger in his eyes. these were the type of players he hated with a white hot passion. He didn't like hurting others, but when innocent people he care about are involved, he'd go all out, like a ferocious animal. But he didn't know the waitress, as she was mere code and would respawn unlike the others here. Still, that feeling just gnawed away at him, and all he wanted to do, was to just run up there, and slice her in half with his "Skyblade" he lost. With the thought still fresh in his mind, he shook it off, and began to walk off. Let the crowd look in shock or horror. Sora was the only one who would put an end to the killing here.

As he continued, he went and found a girl who seemed pretty short, like as if she was still a kid. Something about her made him think of something. And he knew what it was! That other girl who was prancing around with a group of players. Was she that same girl? She seemed different, now that her gear is gone, and her real life image was embedded in here. But that wasn't what he wanted. As he looked around, he saw that she was looking for people. With a heavy sigh, all he wanted to do was forget that crazy b*tch that just killed someone for amusement. Excuse me. Are you looking for someone? He asked her. Me and my friend who's currently at the shop can help you out if you'd like. She seemed too young to be here. In truth, she seemed like the lesser of two evils, as apart from some screaming little boy who makes it a living annoying players. But she doesn't look the type. Her profile even read that she was a doctor class, and her level and name. Litzie, huh? My name's Blue. I had to write it in Japanese, because I didn't have an English keyboard at the time. He introduced himself to the young girl.

Place: City of Beginnings - Central Plaza

Thoughts: "I need to escape this hell hole."

Mood: Annoyed

Health: 40 lll Mana: 40

With all the people running around crazy and the amount of people talking at once it has started to get to J and he has grown to get very annoyed with the amount of people just running around in the hopes of trying to get out. "Just use your common for gods sake, if robot voice says you are in here, you are in here, you're screaming won't help at all..." He silently rants to himself. J calmly gets up from one of the tables and goes towards the nearby town shop and enters the store.
He calmly goes and buys 2 daggers, and a basic armor set. He figured if one daggers breaks he has one just in case. As J finishes his little shopping spree he exits the store and goes up to a small sign that points to where certain places are. He looks the places over and decides on just going to the wilderness.
The title seemed harmless, so he just shrugged simply and disembarked out of the hell hole and disembarked on to the place known as the wilderness.
