Personality
_ _ _ __________________________________________________ _ _ _ xxx Kohaku's is usually a quiet, shy, bookish girl. Her favorite things to do are to sit quietly for hours and compose music in piece or sitting for hours and reading a book. She's more likely to look in a book for any answers she'd want than to go and ask anyone for an answer. If it weren't for her twin, Koharu, Kohaku would probably stay in her room longer than it would be safe, wasting away studying and writing and never meeting anyone.xxx Yes, Kohaku would easily have fit into Eldritch with her thirst for knowledge and general nerdiness. However, she chose Arkham because she really wants to become a renowned composer and, not going to lie, she definitely was swayed by her sister's choosing Arkham as well. Haku isn't about to just go off without her twin.xxx As a freshling, Kohaku was very timid and shy. She rarely strayed far from her sister, and was usually positioned behind Koharu, hiding from whatever was going on. It took weeks for her to trust and become friendly with their caretaker and months before she was comfortable with the other (very loud) children around her. Those first few months, all she was was Koharu's little shadow; her sister easily, and maybe a little too willingly, beating up any bullies that tried for her.xxx It was more when Kohaku became a junior that she began making friends and coming out of her shell more. She strayed further from her twin and reached out quicker and easier than she ever did as a small child. She learned the hard way not to reach out to everyone that acted friendly. Once or twice she'd try to be friends with the wrong person and ended up being bullied. Haku doesn't believe in staying quiet, though, and quickly went sobbing to her sister. Still, they were hard lessons and they set her back a little, making her more cautious again.xxx It's definitely her sister that brings out all of the spunk and panache that Kohaku can have. She doesn't seem the type to pull pranks and have a potty mouth, but she certainly can pull it off when she wants to. She's a friendly girl, once someone gets passed her initial shyness, and really only hides behind Koharu now when she's feeling overwhelmed or in a new situation.

She refuses to be left alone in the dorm, and even if she gets shut in, she finds a way out and back to Kohaku.  - Merle: a wisp that Kohaku got trick-or-treating. Haku keeps him on her nightstand and uses him as a nightlight. She's flirty and giggly, with a well practiced, mysterious smirk. She wants your full focus on her and no one else, though she'll grudgingly share if she has to. She writes short stories in her spare time, using a pen name for those she submits to publication. She isn't confident enough in her writing yet but when she works the kinks out...oh, boy. Or, that had been the plan when she was younger.xxx As a freshling, Madla was getting into all sorts of trouble. The girl really has a problem with authority figures, and following stupid rules, like not stealing, was stupid. The geist quickly spun herself a web of trouble. Eventually she left her caretakers with no recourse but to take all of her things away, especially her favored plushie. It was the only way to teach her how sad others are when she takes from them. In the end it didn't stop her stealing so much as it was curbed a little. Stealing from people who irritated her was perfectly fine by her code.xxx When Madla became a junior, she slowed her stealing down a lot. She wanted people to notice her in a positive light and strove to portray confidence. She didn't know where the thought originated, but she knew she needed to be seen and heard and noticed. Her biggest fear was to be completely ignored and unwanted. She's so afraid of this, she tries to not go invisible as much as she can.
xxxIn junior year she also started learning piano, picking it up with an ease that surprised her teacher. Honestly, though, with fingers as light as hers (pickpocketing paying off in droves here) tickling the keys was almost second nature to her. She quickly moved on past what her teacher could help her with, and started experimenting with more modern music, preferring it over anything 'classical'.xxx Joining Morin's band her senior year was probably the coolest thing in her life so far. Not only did she get to rock out on her keyboard, she had fans. Actual people who thought she was the coolest cat alive. Madla sent them all her best smirk and let those fanboys go wild. Around this time, her dreams of being a romance novelist fell away. Madla loves being in the band, and loves the fame and attention it gives to her.xxx Towards the end of her senior year, Madla decided that she wanted to have a child. She asked to imbue a stone and, after being granted permission, found a partially imbued stone and added her own energy to it. Madla ended up with a beautiful baby hybrid daughter, Anastara.xxx It didn't take the Geist long to get a second child. By Halloween she had adopted a second child; a mutated Baphomet named Thayne. Madla is very content with her two rambunctious children, but she's started looking for a mate to call her own. She's met a younger Chimera girl, who's absolutely adorable, so the Geist is more than willing to see where it leads.

Anastara found the fox, but was frightened of the larger than normal familiar. Madla fell in love with him and he follows her everywhere. Sometimes he's undisciplined enough to follow her on stage, prancing over to sit besides her keyboard.

She thinks she's as good as any boy at any sport and she pushes herself to her limits just to prove it. As she grows older, she'll eventually pick one sport and get very, very good at it.xxx As a freshling, she was a part of the 'Great Grimm Coming'. Many had thought the Grimm to be an extinct race, but now that they had come back, they wanted the school Grimm to join their ranks. Even hybrids like herself. Anastara is both frightened and hopeful. Frightened because she doesn't want to leave her mother, and because her mom could get hurt trying to protect Anastara. Hopeful because maybe she could meet others like her now.xxxAnastara also gained an adopted brother, Thayne.
