That last attack was harder than the others she winced. "Yeah its not bad at first but it seems the more you hit it the harder it punches back." She still fired at it, grazing its side. Taym got a solid hit, and turned to smile at her before that smile froze, morphing into a glare that she didn't entirely understand. She stared at him, eyes gone just a little wide. What the hell had she done to earn that look? Nothing she could remember. It was troubling. Almost as troubling at the Box and it's snapping jaws, and it's increasingly painful bites. She hissed as the id closed over her hand and she swung her hatchet at it the same time she yanked her arm free. That ******** hurt! "Jesus Christ!" OK, so they hadn't been kidding about the escalating pain. Another swing--somehow still felt less natural than the guns--and the thing collapsed and Taym gave everyone a demonstration of how to look smug while simultaneously trying not to look smug. Rep leant down to pick up his loot from the fallen ******** carefully, he didn't want to lose a finger.
The second he did however the tiny blade in his hand twisted and shifted into a beautiful glassy metal scythe that he eyed in amazement for a few long moments.
He looked up only to raise a brow at Pey. "You do?" He wasn't sure how he felt about it, after all there were gaps in his knowledge, fleeting broken memories only vaguely strung together. "Makes sense I guess though man. Like. We have the coats and s**t. I don't remember everything. What's your names?"

She was smacking Taym on the back in a congratulatory way before she could stop herself and ended up retreating after the hit with a very unsure expression on her face and her hand sort of uselessly hoovering. This was awkward, and she didn't even begin to know where to fix it, though now that they'd run into each other again maybe she could corner him into another talk and..
She frowned, wrung her hands, then turned to as she scooped up some swag Rep. "Hey. I don't think you remember me, but I remember you." She sounded as thought she wasn't entirely sure telling him was a good idea.
She'd told Taym, and look how wonderful that had tuned out..

Ceres watched the four for a second, shaking her head with a small laugh. It was clear they knew each other in some way. "Thanks for letting me join." She nodded, grabbing her loot. Not that they really 'let' her, but they hadn't stopped her either.

She nodded, stuffing her hands in her pockets to keep them still. "Peyton. We've fought before, against each other, but for practice." The smile grew into a grin. "You hit really hard." It wasn't one solid memory, more a melding of a few individual ones to create and over all feeling, but that had stuck out to her.

Rep looked baffled and thoughtful at the news. So there were people potentially walking around with more knowledge of who he was than just the individuals he'd remembered from his memories. But at the mention that he hit hard he couldn't help but beam at her. He certainly didn't feel like he hit hard of late, struggling to stay afloat on an endless sea of creatures to fight, so it helped to have the boost that maybe somewhere, somehow, he didn't suck.
"I'm sorry I don't remember then. The only fights I remember are..not enormously nice." A massacred old lady, murdering a fellow hunter out of necessity and a dark black thread of hatred aimed at a woman. "Its a bit of a ******** relief to think a lot of us must be tied together somehow, if only by meeting."

Peyton nodded, relieved. "Yeah. I mean it's not much to go on, but it's a start. I remember a lot of people in white coats." She chuckled, glancing over her shoulder at the others before back up at Rep. "We're connected, somehow." She remembered the pie fight, the camaraderie. "But I just wanted to tell you that, and to let you know that I've got your back." She nodded to herself. That seemed right.
