Despite all of her excitement and energy the teen was patient. She only touched his hand and then she only lightly held onto it simply because she could. Zera seemed lonely, almost sad in some respects. Maybe it was the shy nature of him but she only wanted to be his friend.
"We'll make a day for it then! And you can bring Tuala and maybe Dexter-man will come and it'll be fun!" She said encouragingly.
Eidel went quiet for a moment before she said simply, "You may touch my face if you want! I don't mind."

Zera broke into an excited laughter. "That'll be a great day, then!" His head canted some. "I don't think Tuala can swim with his wings, but he might enjoy watching..."
The invitation was met with a look of surprise, though his hand lifted toward her face nigh instantly. "Ah... really?"
He didn't wait for an answer; his fingers came forward gently, hoping to high heaven he wouldn't poke her eye by accident, keeping his hand upright to prevent that. It sure would help him to get to know her. He hesitated suddenly.
"... you sure?" He laughed a little, sheepishly.

His excitement made her grin happily, "It'll be the best day! Tuala has wings?! That sounds so awesome."
Eidel was pretty much in the realm of happiness. She watched his hands move toward her face and saw him hesitate, the girl let out a small giggle as she simply just took his hand in one of her own and placed it firmly on her cheek as a starting point, "I never say things I don't mean! Yes, I am sure. Silly Zera."

He laughed a bit more, nervous quiet sounds as she pushed his hand onto her cheek and he let his fingertips explore her face, gently. The lift of cheekbones, the softness of skin, the shapes and how her smile moved under his hand. She was vibrant, not just in her speech.
"Very bright... ibhedla." he mused, back in that odd whisper. "It's good of you. I mean, to say only what you mean... it's good of you."
He wasn't quite sure why he'd have been so sure, or what the alternative was.

She let him touch and explore not seeming worried that he would possibly poke her eye out or even harm her. The way he talked caught her attention but she didn't see a point in saying anything about it other that noting that it seemed like a good thing. It didn't frighten her but then Eidel didn't seem to have a concept of fear at this point.
"Thank you. I try to do good things~. What was that word you said a few seconds ago? Ib...Ibh..dla..." Eidel stumbled over the word that was quickly working its way out of her memory already.

Zera memorized her face with his fingertips, but gave a questioning mewl as she asked about that word. He had barely been aware he'd said it; it was that strange confusing language he wasn't sure of and nobody had repeated it yet... he'd never said a word twice of his own volition... but.
"... Ibhedla." He blinked slowly, veiling the silver rings of his unseeing eyes. "... I'm not sure why I said it. But it meant... bright, I think."
His head canted again slowly. "... but sweet and precious, though. It's hard to say." He hummed softly. "I never think about those words... I forget them when I say them most of the time."

Eidel didn't seem too concerned about the oddities of the one before her. She simply accepted it and enjoyed it, letting it roll over her and embracing it, "I liked it, it was a pretty word. I like what it means~, it sounds lovely."
Zera was free to roam her face as much as he wanted and once he was done she simply invited herself to settle next to him where they were basically touching side-to-side. "I think you are a wonderful person so far Zera. I hope we will always be friends."

He smiled warmly at her, though the word was echoing in his head. Ibhedla. Precious and sweet, adored for the brightness of it. The word had meaning. A clear meaning, for once.
As she settled beside him, he leaned against her playfully for a moment. "Thank you, Eidel. As long as I can help it, we will. Swimming and maybe... maybe singing or dancing, like you said?"
He was so shy for singing, but he wanted to now, along with the little whispers in his head that still made very little sense.

There was no resistance toward him leaning on her. In fact she welcomed it and even leaned back on him a little with a small playful nudge before she settled completely growing still. "We will do all of these things and more~. You just let me know when you want to and I will come meet you!"
Yes. She wanted to see Zera again if given the chance.
"In a day or two? Three days?" She asked curiously. "Unless you wanted to do it all today, but Tuala is not here so .. That would be unfair!"

He laughed a little. "Mmm, a few days. I'll have to see about things."
He began to hum a little, softly, eager and excited now, thinking about swimming and having a friend to pass the time with, to learn about. Tuala would like her, he thought. Maybe. Well, he hoped so anyhow.
"Maybe two." He nudged at her again, smiling brightly. "Swimming, I mean, but... I'd love for you to meet Tuala too, maybe later today or tomorrow?"

Eidel hummed out a quiet little song to herself, mostly to think it over, "Maybe tomorrow! Because I should get home soon." The teen turned and gave Zera a quick little hug,
"I we shall see, right?" She said in a chipper tone as she started to get to her feet. "Tuala better come and collect you soon! Or else I'll be cross at him for leaving you lonely for so long."

Zera loved the little hug, he giggled a bit and held onto her arm a moment as a goodbye gesture. "It'll be alright, he'll be back soon. Thank you, Eidel! I'm looking forward to tomorrow, now."
He settled against the tree a bit, humming softly to himself, his mind speaking that word again. Ibhedla. Ibhedla.
It had a meaning, unlike the other words he spoke without knowing.
Or... maybe they did... did they?
