tamcharles yks Appearance, language, name. The most important is I think and act like a Chinese. So you're suggesting that we should all dress in olive greens, carry a red book, write in simplified chinese, speak Mandarin in a mainland dialect and chant how bad capitalism is? Please correct me if I'm mistaken. razz hell no, i am not wearing that olive green. rofl anyways, i think that it doesn't matter wether or not you're born into a chinese family. our race is just another way to classify ourselves. it's such a bother thinking about.

And Chinese are generally more conservative.

And Chinese are generally more conservative.Sometimes that isn't the case. Many Chinese in the west dye their hair/eyes you know, and a lot give themselves westernized names, even if they keep their chinese surnames. And there are some non-native born Chinese who can't even speak a single word of it. Finally, how do you know that most Chinese are conservative. Just like most other nationalities which have huge numbers, it is very hard to define the esence of what makes us Chinese. In my view it's our background and our geneology.

I have those "Oriental Eyes" [that's what my friend said cuz she has them too 3nodding ] But is that more common for Japanese? Because I met this girl from Hong Kong and she introduced me to her Chinese friends and I heard them talking to her in Chinese "Oh is she a new exchange student from Japan?" and even my friend says that I don't look chinese and that i look japanese.
