Hi, I'm Minielf! My real name is Michael Xu. I am a Second year University student who is studying at Melbourne University doing the Bacelor of Arts. I like to write novels, and already have several stories that I want to get published. I am proud of being both an Australian citizen and a Chinese person.

I am a frequent member of both the Aussies Ahoy and International Chinese Guilds.
My favourite game used to be the freeware RPG Laxius Power, but now I'm a fan of Maple Story

I am a three-time winner of National Novel Writing Month. 2004's NaNo Novel was Skyfang: The Legend of Ayyad, clocking in at 63,074 words. In 2006 and 2007 I worked on The Dragon King Saga. It is now at 155,000 words and 75% completed.

In the last two years I've become addicted to manga and anime. My favourite series is Bleach, but I also enjoy Naruto, One Piece and DBZ.

Haha. You're spot on. The entering score is 99.95 + an interview. You also have to do UMAT on top of that. xP It's really just Arts + Med/Surg I guess...

oh lol. That's pretty cool youre doing honours. I went straight to Masters cos I want an internship and publishing and communications offers one. Maybe you've actually seen me if you have taken certain creative writing / eng. lit. classes. What subjects did you take?

Hey there. I'm a fellow Melbourne University student although since you're in second year Arts and I completed my degree last year , I'm probably somewhat older. It's neat you're a novelist. I don't think i'd ever be able to write over 60,000 words. Maybe in short story format forming a collection of stories xD I initially wanted to be an author but as i doubt I'd be able to make a good living off it, I'm venturing off into the publishing field instead. anyway guess this is really random but it's nice to find a fellow uni student on Gaia.
