Thank you everyone, and especially thank you to Broken, Chibi, and all the veterans who have so much faith in me!
*clears throat*
As some of you know, this will be me third year. Good thing come in three and since I was small I have firmly believed that if there was a 3 around me then whatever the 3 was attached to it would be good for me. It's my hope that that means that this ball will be as great and even better than we are all hoping.
Even though 3 years is a short time compared to some, the annual ball has become more and more important to me, so I am even more happy to accept this honour. Ever since the first ball I attended as a guest, I have been amazed at what users were pulling off and even more so when I learned how long it had been going on for. This is year 11, officially over a decade, and that is a long time!
The fact that users come together once a year, some new and some veterans, is just amazing. Everyone here is amazing, and we are going to make this year amazing.
My first orders of business will be declared soon! In the meantime, I will be going through the theme suggestions in more detail and the suggestions for improving the ball. If anyone has yet to suggest something in one of those threads then please head over to them and add your two cents in!
