xX Green Tea Tree Xx I have several phobias... The dark. I absolutely hate the dark! I have to turn the lights on in my house when I go upstairs for the night so I don't flip out and cry. I just get really anxious in pitch-black spaces. Thunder and lightning. While the rain is calming, if there's a thunderstorm I freak out. I'll burst into tears over it. Heights. I had to climb a tree once. A tree that was 35 feet off of the ground!! D< (though I was attached to a safety system before I went up) I looked down and lost my footing. I've never been able to stand climbing super tall trees or heights in general. Swinging things. I don't know why, but the sight of things swinging back an forth makes me feel sick to my stomach. im sorry but im almost the exact oppisite to you except the heights thing and instead of swinging its spinning. i love thunder storms (i actually sleep better during them) i love warm rain. :3 and as long as i know for sure im alone im ok with pitch darkness. but i have to KNOW im ALONE. i fear people messing with me, heights and for some reason im not even sure of; im afraid to ride a horse. i will not go near a horse no matter what. sad and they are beautiful creaters too

I'm surprised I'm the first one who has put up their deathly fear of spiders!!! I hate those 8 legged things. I'm fine if they're walking around and such but the minute they're within three feet of me I panic.

Anthropophobia - Fear of people of society. Ecclesiophobia - Fear of church. Philophobia - Fear of falling in love or being in love/ Algophobia - Fear of physical and emotional pain.
I'm not so afraid of physical pain, but emotional pains and love just scare the hell out of me. I know some of the above sound kinda weird, but I just really can't be near a church, in a relationship, or near people without wanting to just run away...

Call me insane, but ghosts, demons, any kinds of spirits. That would be my biggest phobia. It's so serious, that I'm too paranoid to be alone, or even sleep without my TV on. Being on stage. No this isn't stage fright, I literally hate it so badly, and forget anything. Maybe it is stage fright actually xD Then thunderstorms would be another phobia. The second I hear thunder, rain, or anything like it, my heart starts pounding too fast. Ugh >O<

They're just not bad enough to be phobias. Churches would be a phobia except for the fact that monasteries or full blown cathedrals totally zen me out. I just don't understand it.....

Arsonphobia, the fear of fire. I hated fire ever since I was a little kid, I saw the damage and harm it can cause. I won't even use the stove, I get panic attacks.
Isolophobia, fear of being alone. But I am scared of a lot people or more like I don't trust people easily, so it isn't just anyone I want to be with either.
Emetophobia, fear of being sick/vomiting. I hate it. I hate the fact I am living with multiple health issues and pain already and this brings on verminophobia, the fear of germs.
I know, I am a messed up and weird person, been told that all my life basically.
I wouldn't say I fear church, I just hated going.

Thalassophobia - fear of being in the ocean.
I love the beach, the waves and whatnot. I'd be fine on a boat, but if I had to tread water, I'd freak. I can swim; I just dislike the idea of having miles of open sea below my feet. Odd that I have a pirate-themed Avi, yes?

Real phobia, spiders.
I don't care for other bugs, especially the sort that crunch when you kill them but that's not a phobia.
Heights make me dizzy sometimes or queasy, but I challenge that by putting myself in places to experience it.

What do you mean 'not bad enough to be phobias'? There's some pretty odd fears, mine are just more specific and personal. stare

Mine are annoying repetitive noises, and I'm not sure what you'd call it but I'm really freaked out by people coming to my door. I run and hide. redface

I'm not afraid of much. I have a thing about germs in my mouth (like not drinking from the same straw as someone else), but that's not really a fear.
Spiders, though. They scare the living daylights out of me. I'm 6'4" and about 290 lbs. (60 of those are fat, though, so it's not like I'm ripped), and I've tried reminding myself of that when I have to deal with things/places that have spiders in/on them, but it doesn't help.
The tiniest of them will stop me in my tracks (unless I'm fortunate enough to have a clear shot at stepping on them).
God I hate spiders.
