This is where you have landed at! Because of this you can land on the same course as a teammate... but you cannot see them because the course is so large!

DAILY STATUS EFFECT MARCH 15, 2012. STUDENTS MAY NOW TRY AGAIN.The rain finally seems to stop, and so does the wind, but with the aftereffects some the fog, a stifling fog that is also warm and humid. It is both fogging and humid!
Fog Effect:
- If your training course requires you to roll a 100-sided dice, subtract 10 of your result every roll BEFORE comparing results
- If your training course requires you to roll a 12-sided dice subtract 1 of your result every roll
- If your training course requires you to take damage, you take x2 extra damage.
Humid Effect:
- It is TOO WARM. BONUS MECHANICS ARE NOT WORKING (at all).

DAILY STATUS EFFECT MARCH 16, 2012. STUDENTS MAY NOW TRY AGAIN, THIS IS THE LAST DAY.It is HAILING AND SNOWING!
Snow:
- ICE ROAD RUNNER, SNOW DASH, and THE WATER LAKE all now grant one extra save (unless you run out of HP, in which case its GAME OVER)
Hail:
- Ouch! You must now calculate HP DAMAGE while completing every course. Every time you roll a turn, you take -5 damage (taken from your student's total HP amount fully recovered). If you hit 0 HP, your student dissipates with however many flags they recovered! YOU MUST CALCULATE YOUR STUDENT'S HP EVERY TURN, if there is a course that uses HP, the DAMAGE STACKS WITH THIS ONE.

DAILY STATUS EFFECT, MARCH 17, 2012The judges are busy tallying all the flags and staggering the scores, final points tallies will be posted tonight, and the the final trials, the Trials of Death will begin shortly afterwards! Good luck all participants!OOC - The Trials of Death functions a little differently from all the other trials: it is a Choose Your Own Adventure game that will require reasonably heavy activity from the players. That means that players should do their best to check in at least once every 12 - 24 hours for new prompts. The trials will be very storyline based, a single change in choice or action may dictate an entirely new fate! Keep an eye out soon for the last and final deciding trial, as well as the storyline tied to it! (Most likely open a few hours after trials of War winners are announced and a points tally is updated) - For anyone who has not completed the last trial, they will still have until 2:00pm PST to do so. Make sure that your FIRST POST IS ALL UPDATED!

DAILY STATUS EFFECT: MARCH 18, 2012 THE CONCLUSION OF TRIALS OF WARAn hour later, everything was normal again. The sun was shining in a way that was way too overly bright for any self-respecting creature of Halloween against an unnaturally blue sky, the birds were chirping, looking nothing like any minipets really, and there was a scent of fresh air that was making a few of the less hardy spectators rather green in the gills. The trials participants themselves had finally been gathered from the infirmary, parting their lepus guides with various levels of teary goodbyes before being escorted to the center of the spectator arena, where a good many families and relatives sitting on the bench cheered.
Three judges, wearing minimal clothing: simple red cloth banded with tribal feathers and leather trim, were squabbling with each other, lightly, just about ready to tear apart the piece of paper - the judging paper - in the center. When the attendant cleared his throat, just slightly, the three of them finally stopped, and huffily walked over, the first of them, an elegant but battle-seasoned ambassador of War, moving over towards the scamplifier. "We have in our hands, the our final score for the teams. Our clan values using the environment and our abilities to our advantage, we are afraid of nothing, and stop at nothing. Our trials teach our fledgelings what it means to be strong even in the harshest conditions, to face all obstacles head-on. Some groups performed better than others, it is only natural, for only the strongest will become the leaders for the next generation."
With that she nodded, and literally nailed the piece of paper with a pen into the table before stalking off with the other two, the three of them still lightly quarreling.
The attendant coughed, took over the scamplifier and nodded to the Trials game host seated above.
"Well, ghouls and boils of all ages, you heard it, the Trials of War have been completed! Congratulations to -" he waited for a second for someone to relay the scores upwards - "Teams Fatal Femmes, Ice Breakers, and last but not least, Team Splash Attack for performing their very best in the Trials of War! A tally of all scores is available at the front table, but don't rush all at once now to see! Lastly, don't forget this is a great chance to get some more souvenirs before you leave and-"
- The spectator gate suddenly burst open, a figure covered entirely in a black cloak running up the stairs, wings fluttering behind them. They only stopped when they reached the Trials host, whispering something to them.
The undead games host's expression on the large screen was that of an owlish surprise. He leaned over, "Are you sure that the Trials of Death have been cancel-"
"- The Trials of Death will still continue." There was no source of the figure anywhere in the crowd, though they appeared on the screen, literally cutting off the games host's confused expression. Several of the camera crew looked extremely confused as they tried turning on and off their equipment, smacking it a few times, and then simply shrugged.
"The last Trials will commence shortly." The voice continued, the figure cloaked entirely in a silk black cloth. A few spectators began to mutter amongst themselves, especially those of the Four Clans: this was a priestess from the Clan of Death. "There will be no delay, the Trials of Death will continue as promised, however, the trial will be preformed without spectators."
Several outraged families stood up, others slightly surprised, but the voice continued. "All participants should only heed one warning though as they step through to the final trials: their group is key to their success and failure. Rely only on yourself and you will fall. Use the strength, experience, knowledge and courage from your group, your peers, and you will remain strong until the end, and fear not even death."
The last words were ominous, in the very least. The screen had returned back to normal, or at least, back to the flabberghasted face of the Trials host, who was struggling to say anything, but it was too late. Half the spectator booth was already up in arms.
The students would go back to their dorms tonight with uneasy dreams. "I hate these spoiled brats, I hate them, I hate them, I HATE THEM."
The other three seemed entirely nonplussed by the fourth's reaction, each lost in their own thoughts. The second raised a hand forward in opinion, silk robes sliding down their wrist. "I agree, these children are sheltered, spoiled, they do not care for our purpose, and what we try to teach them. They do not care about the nobility nor honour of our clans."
A third voice joined in shortly afterward. "They can be fearsome warriors, there is potential, but I do not see it in them yet. They fight, but without heart or intent!"
The fourth voice remained silent throughout.
"My vote is against this Amityville," shrieked the first, her hands clawing into the marble table. "I don't like brats who do not appreciate our help."
"I stand undecided," the third rustled her feathers, turning to look at the fourth figure. "I will wait for the last of the trials to present my decision as well. A battle won or lost may not mean the war has been decided."
The last figure, the one that all three turned towards, simply nodded. "The last trial will begin soon. We will test them one last time, this trial is simple and straightforward. They shall see exactly what it would be like if they lived in a world without our help."
"An enchantment then. Moving them to another possibility just to test-"
"Do it. Do it, do it, DO IT." The first's cacophony drowned out all else, her vicious laughter echoing in the empty hallway. OOC - This is a GM conversation that happens OUTSIDE of what the students actually ICly know. However, when the trials groups wake up, they find themselves HERE.

MARCH 19th, 2012OOC IF YOU ARE A PARTICIPANT- PART 2 of the CYOA installments is up. You can read it HERE. If you have a trials participant and you have NOT made a choice, you can ONLY CHOOSE B OR C. - A new update will be made 4:00 PM PST on March 20th (that's tonight!) Make sure your group makes a choice that is updated on the front of their post. If they do not make a choice, they will be given a default one. - As per usual, every correct choice yields the group a certain amount of points (to be shown later) - If some of your group members are retired OR afk, it is still very possible to continue on without them! Just continue picking and rping out the CYOA answers/ choices. IF YOU ARE A SPECTATOR- You may only attack ONE GROUP this day, due to several closed groups! Same rules apply as usual, good luck!

- That means your team WILL get rewarded for effort, but no teams will be penalized for lack of it!
- If you HAVE NOT picked an answer/ your team has not picked an answer, move to the choice: "IF YOUR DIVISION WAS QUESTIONED AND YOU CHOSE C"
- The quotes are marked by the CHOICES your team made. Read each quote and then match up your choice to the prompt you get. GENERAL RULES

- That means your team WILL get rewarded for effort, but no teams will be penalized for lack of it!
- If your team has been captured and not done the last prompt, it is assumed that this already happened to the lowest roller of the team. That means the lowest roller of the people who rolled already is DEAD (gone).
MOVING ONWARDS: GM PROMPT STYLE:
- All surviving groups will now be prompted by A GM RP POST. A GM will go into your thread and post an RP prompt for you to interact with as well as OOC notes. Please respond accordingly, as well as read any potential rules attached!
- There is NO NEXT CYOA POST, everything will move ORP style until the end!
- Once again if your character is DEAD please do post a death solo for them for bonus RP points as well as team points. All reaction posts as always are not necessary but will also give you bonus rp points and team points.

OOC - When students wake up, many will notice that they are now lying back in their dorm rooms. In several of their rooms is a paper, marked EXAM AUTHENTICATION APPROVAL. For many it would mean their placement to the next grade. - Congratulations to those who made it to Y3! Your character is officially a Y3 student now that they have passed the trials! Congratulations as well to those who made it to Y2! Make sure that you only "upgrade" HERE ICLY AND ART WISE if you have waited 6 months in between Y2 and Y3 and 4 months in between Y1 and Y2. Otherwise, please do WAIT before you post for official growth, ALL STUDENTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE TRIALS as long as they were active from beginning to end now have received one exam growth point, but still must WAIT for the exam cooldown queue - RP points will be distributed in the next couple of days (please do not count these ones quite yet thank you!), as well as the final prize/points distribution for all players! - Thank you all for playing in the trials, consider the last couple of days before the final information/ rewards are released as time for you to post your death solos. You can also begin to ICly roleplay reactions as you need.
- You may post ONCE every spectator booth you participated in, so once for Famine, once for War, as LONG as your post is over 400 words EACH.
